i could understand chec, russian, polish etc, just from the slovaki I learnt
I know that I can help Polish speakers in a pinch when they don't speak english, it isn't pretty though!

We didn't get as much as Seattle, but tomorrow is another story -- snow and freezing rain. Neighbours had planned a long drive to Parksville for the weekend :-(
I hate driving in the snow
the worst of it has been the freezing rain, I think. It makes it all very very dodgy on the roads.
Home Support couldn't get here yesterday but made it today -- guess they'll be absent again tomorrow -- likewise Meals on Wheels.
I got 18-20 inches and now at least 1 inch of ice on top
Luckily I have some meals in the kitchen freezer, which I can now reach.

I wanted to see who would win for the ro 5/10 they portrayed. Most of the women looked gorgeous. Nobody wore gl 5/18 of make-up.I always say le4/4 is more.Nobody looked like a sl4/6 either.Nobody looked too ob5/14 in their dresses. Some women wore dresses with slits that sh 4/9ed off their le4/6, which I'm sure the men og4/6d at.Some people wore dresses that had a sa4/5. Some people wore earrings that hung off their ear lo 5/14. But I was agh 5/16 when I saw Sarah Michelle Geller's dress. It was so ugly! Many gi4/8d that dress. There were no women there about to give bi 5/16. The men al4/4 looked good.I wish Colin Fi5/18 had been there I like him. Out of the 2 fo4/7, Elton John & Madonna, I am glad Madonna won.Sh4/5 so much more talented than Elton John. Did you see the look on Elton John's face over his lo 4/4? He looked like he just wanted to shoot Madonna with a ri 5/16. I am glad he lo 4/4! He deserves it after boa4/4ing he would win.La4/4, but not le5/10,there was the host, Ricky Gervais. Now you're talking - mozzies love me and we have those, and horrible big roaches too. Every night I put on my heavy boots, grab my torch and my trusty can of "Lure 'n Kill" and go roach hunting. So it's not paradise here,either!

I am phobic - has taken years of self-training to hunt them. Still have nasty roach dreams but have learned how to save myself - I know if I manage an audible scream, I will wake up/no roaches
I hate the heat - my hubby and 4 sons love it. We now have airconditioning, and it has changed my life.
If you'll want to visit, come in winter - we have lovely winters

Our winters are wettish, but here in the west we have a few good downpours rather than constant drizzle. The rest of the time it's cool and sunny; the bush is damp and green, and it's beautiful outdoors - picnics in the bush etc

doffit, the order is somewhat traditional. New Hampshire has a state law that says their primary has to be before any others. But the order of the rest changes from time to time as the states try to get candidates to campaign in their states.
