hope you did well
ga 8 and pl ga 9
I didn't
awww then I hope you had a good time
he 8 sounds like a bald person
yes, always Dee, thanks
was falling asleep
we had some good results and some awful ones
surprised you are awake now flosey :)
least you had a balanced evening jili
think ours tended to be the other
ty for the h8 dee
well, won't last long Dee, have to go off island tomorrow
yqw
know the feeling... will be off to bed shortly
shopping?
hope to Dee, but first priority is to see the accountant to sign our income tax forms
when is your filing date?
not even sure, probably end of this month
April 30, dee
for some reason I thot yours was the same as ours... awww ours was the 15th
lol, thanks Jilli
think it has always been end of April
looks like hubby is going to have to have surgery on his other knee... we'll find out the beginning of May
oh dear, is he happy with the results of his first one?
very, which is probably why he isn't willing to keep having pain in the other one
I hope it is a tear in the meniscus again, and nothing more
that's good, so going into it with positive attitude
always something lately
very positive
darn, they don't accept asperin

This grid contains a disproportionately high number of ordinary words -- how refreshing!
for sure and hi erda!
Hi Dee!
ri 4, 5, 7, 8, 8, 6, 5... same root dealing with fruits becoming just perfect to eat or use...
thanks Dee, didn't know there was a ri7
LOL always thot it was a brown paper bag
that was a lovely strip
yes, there is that
like Erda said, I love "normal" words
yes, me too
makes the grids more fun I think :)
I've given up looking for definition of the strange ones, know I'll never use them
my memory isn't as ironclad as it once was, so I just don't remember many of the strange ones (because I don't use them or even read them)
same here Dee, memory is slipping
that is one part of menopause and aging I detest
me too, it can be so frustrating
terribly
I keep thinking maybe I should start a diary or journal
Very late "flip".
hi Neil
thought you were in bed:)
Hi flosey.
hi neil thot you would be asleep by now :)
hi neil
Hi jilli.
And Dee... no. And yes Karen, I was. But I'm not now, haha. Will be again soon though.

good to know
wtg jili that was quick!!
I don't have nbt yes, but so have nbs
**yet
can't believe those of you who finished that monster. We were dog-sitting, and I just couldn't stay awake to finish that one. Was that the biggest one ever (the one over 700)?
it was a struggle at times but fun, everyone was chatty and giving clues
can't see that lower left corner S -- any clues?
you would have to; I started but was blind and sleepy
don't have it jilli
so 4... suns or the so4 what you do to seeds
or one who plants the seeds or sl 4
I am awful at figuring out from which letter the words originate
or the big building on a farm that holds corn si 4 and plural
none of those come from that corner S!
ah, no they don't
sl 5/10 one who is sneakier?
so6/30 does jilli
it's a pl
ah, thanks, flosey
yw jilli
that was a new word for me... have never heard of the so 6/30 before
I've run across it in Boggle games.
so6/30 would be those who spread seeds, wouldn't it?
I meant in real life neil :)
no it is a porridge
oh wait -- there are two of them
there are 2 so 6/30's
yes, there is another so6/30 before that, but don't have it
here is the def: Scot., Irish English . porridge made from oat bran or husks that have been soaked in water, slightly fermented, and then boiled.
Hi all, brand new at this..hope i do good...:)
can't think of any porridge that starts that way
welcome sillyjilly, hope you enjoy
porridge? Hmf. Can't imagine what that is.
thank you flosey
Hi sillyjillyfun.
only one I can think of is oatmeal
And welcome.
hi sillyjillyfun
hi all thanks for the greetings...having fun?
hi sillyjilly gl:)
just change the next to the last consonant in the other word ...
You mean the so6,30 that means less fast, flosey?
well all... I need to get going ... another long day tomorrow
oh, looking Neil
Hi all. ty Volleymom for the second so6 to be eaten before cyclamen!
thanks
Good night and sweet dreams Dee.
Hi scouser!
hi scouser
ty, you, too!!!
gnight and thanks, dee
ty volley! I needed that one too
aww ty scouser, good to know
Hi Neil.
have that, no there's another so6/30
*poof*
this is a more difficult grid than I thought.
me too scouser
Oh sorry... you means an so6,30. Don't know where my brain is.
What I said was an sl6,30. Yeah, I'll be ok.
an so6/30 that means less fast? wouldn't that be an sl6/30 Neil?
gave us another word though Neil
Didn't I say sl6,30 Jilli? Thought I did. Geez.
I think I should've stayed in bed. :P lol
wonder if Dee's so6 clue re porridge was a brand name
Yes, you did, but I had already typed my post and you beat me to it.
not a brand name but might be someone's opinion of the stuff
A brand name wouldn't be allowed?
I've always known it as stirabout
No it's a type of porridge.
no Neil, but sometimes it is also a word
But not a brand... if that makes sense?
Huh flosey?
Be careful... I'm easily confused right now.
of course Neil, you always make sense
can you clue it differently please?
Uhhh no, flosey. Not always.
I mean accepted as a word as well as happening to be a brand name
It isn't a brand name I don't think?
spreaders of seed change r for n
I'm having trouble with the R on the right too.
thank you scouser -- I almost tried that and I guess I should have.
so + a large, crowded city [Brit], plural?
[for that so6,30]
I've never head of that porridge.
I still need two from that R on the right.
A lizard, jilli?
head is too foggy tonight, very tired
re7,32 and re8,45 -- related.
nope, neil -- that's not from that R
Well one, then more than one.
Oh geez. so it isn't. Ok, I should just go to sleep.
My eyes and brain are not coordinating now.
Poor muddled neil, lol!
it is one of those corners where once words are in cant tell which letter they came from
could it be ri4/4 and 5?
Well... you know.
This wasn't a good idea I guess. Now.
Yeah scouser, I have some trouble with that.
no, flosey
as I have still got 15 to do from the other R cannot tell yet
ok, making a ton of words that don't exist....bedtime!!! good night and good luck all
goodnight Alta
I have 2 from that r, could it be re4/4 and 5?
Night Karen.
ah -- it's the ri7/32 -- NBT
Take care.
gnight Alta
ah, good for you jilli
Karen?
Yes. Altagolfnut5.
I'm still missing the bottom i
ty jillibus - and the 8 with it
yes, got that scouser
She and her sister Blue [alohablue] are friends of ours.
That's why they both joined here.
bottom i you'll get what is coming to you
really, neil? How nice -- alohablue hasn't been here for a while.
Yep.
Hi flosey -
I saw Blue hours ago in Literati.
She and Karen both play.
hi scouser
Well, busy day again tomorrow so again I won't have time for this nice biggie. Bedtime now, so goodnight and...*poof
did you get the bottom i?
Yeah. I'd better get some shuteye too.
Too tired.
A mere 207 left...
goodnight jilli
I already had it, thanks, scouser
Night jilli... take care.
*repoof
Off to Lala land. Well I already live in L.A. :P
I
I'm still lmissing that bottom i
Take care everyone.
goodnight Neil, sweet sleep
flosey see my clue at 1:56am
thanks scouser, looking
it is i7
what is the second letter?
n
thanks
two similar words from the other i
tyty, got it
I'm still trying to get the first so6 word - like the city in England, can't think of one that fits
if anyone is having trouble with the o, go back to the porridge and anagram it in the singular for some beefs sing and plural
hello
flosey.. think the bruce
hi m9
no wait.. wrong man's name!LOL
I have no idea what that clue was about. see my clue further back in chog.
s man's name pl
I have a brother of that name. and a brother named bruce. I think that's where my head was at.LOL
we are into archaic Eng and Scots today
that did it m9 - have an uncle with that name
have never heard of it as a porridge
now twist that word about to get the two o beefs
another word new to me
neither have been said for hundreds of years I expect ! very obscure, in true Enable fashion
wonder when Enable was written
I got one. thanks

i did that too..then RAN
* turns round so everyone can pat my back* * grin * i actually finished the monster....but it took 2 bites.
WOOT FOR YOU rmcc :)
hi carlee :)
so...i just read a really great book...

well Andree, that is pretty good going!

the book ( ther ea link in my profile)...i had the strangest effect on me for good reason too
yes, the fainting was hysterical! people double checking that it was actually a 7hundred + grid!
oh, I luv physics!
we either thought it was 144 or 74!
is written by a gf of mine... family friend... i used to baby sit her...then later she was in my wedding party
(us old ones with bad eyes LOL)
yes !! I had to look a few times!
anyway...she went to oxford got her MPhil and DPhil in romance literature
and, I must admit, I watched the clues get solved (don't do that usually as it is on the work computer that I dont get to access) and was scared of the words that came up!
but I did like that 'sunrises' and 'sunsets' was in there... nice touch
half the bugger was c words! which I hate btw
the book is 3 in one...her first year at oxford ( with some reminiscing about her childhood) a love story between her and her husband to be and then her story of becoming a christian... its up for christian book of the year
anyway... can I just say how weird it is to have events in your youth..with people you know... on the pages of a book?
i found myself in her book..in 2 places
that is great carlee!
its..very... very strange...
carlee, it would certainly be a weird feeling......hope her memory was as accurate as yours
must be a wierd feeling
snap rose
anyway is called Surprised.. By Oxford by carolyn weber... is a quick read... 400 pages....i read in 3 days whilst studying for 2 exams
1st lo5 please
"Surprised by oxford" no ... in there yes is twist on Surprised by Joy by cs lewis
lo5, lo + second vowel + double consonant
thx rose

Hi all - any clue for the 2nd re 7/32 & 8/45
hello all babble friends :)
Ks Ki4ed
Hello Sprite and all
hello lyn :) xxx
Did you husband 'pass' at the Doctors yesterday?
yes, he did. She examined him very closely. Her verdict was that only muscles and tissue was hurt, no bones or tendons etc. If the pain stays for longer than 2 weeks, he must come back.
Terrific. but I hope he didn't say "I told you so"
nooooo he is wiser than that :) LOL. He actually admitted that the doctor would have preferred he gave the shoulder more rest.
why can we have rhinestone but no rhine?
it is one I try all the time too
:D
I hit a wall at 166 in. Quite a sturdy wall.
good grief - a 3D printer
?
works like a small manufacturing machine. You can scan an image of something in and it prints or builds it - working from the bottom up layer by layer...works in plastic/metal etc - they just showed a bottle opener being mde in a minute or so
bottom row i help. (for nbt)
oh! I was wondering if there was a word in the grid with that meaning, lol. Yes I have seen some on TV. Amazing!
in7/32...what you do if someone leaves you money
ty
thanks Molly
nbt nbs time for a nap.
have a lovely nap, mixi
well, I guess I better go do some cleaning in da house. I really wonder why, if they can make miracles like a 3D-printer, why they still haven't created self-cleaning floors etc.
or a bathtub or toilet bowl that rejects dirt
exactly!
*hugs* and see you later, or if not, have a grand evening and sleep well. Bye all!
see you later
Er
Good mornin' world
Hi Bichon!

Hello everyone

((Sprite)) hello
Good morning Mom!
good morning Car.
Ahhhh! Falling stegosaurs!!!!!
very happy I don't need to go out today. Poor babies of mine... they must ride their bikes home through this mess ;)
ah, was that what it was, car.ee! I couldn't see, it went so fast!
the poor dears
As long as they aren't going spike first, you should be OK.
yeah... I can hear them complain already. But better on their way home than to school.
lol car!
True dat
they can get a hot bath and hot tea or cocoa once they get home
exactly. And then warm dry clothes on, and that feels so great after you have been cold and wet :)
Halfway. Be back in a bit! {{hugs}}
((car.))
bye car.ee, see you in a bit
what is the temps there toda?
today*
shouldn't be trying to type and watch tv at the same time
this is a nasty grid. And it has a K. But at least my favorite word is very prominent today.
temps aren't that bad, I think. Around 10 degrees Celsius.
and what is your favorite word?
that is not too bad
pe5/12
no, the temps at least show that Spring could be coming in a month or so :)
we will get a little higher than 15 degrees celcius
Spring .... a lovely time of year
now to find the pe word
that is better. Yeah... lovely, when it does not rain all the time. And for the pe word... think male organ ;)
oh you!
got it thanks
*grin* and plural.
do you get a lot of rain?
thanks for the plural
yeah, this is a pretty rainy country. But it differs. Some Springs are beautiful. Others are more Autumny.
and what is the word I get after that ..... sw 5/18 <--- blushing
hahahaha! I put you in the mood!
mood? hahahaha
I laugh in the face of danger
lol! See, you are a heroine!
and now I find the pl 5/12 and its plural.... tsk tsk
Mom is on a roll :D
<---- I hope no males are lurking
(would ruin my image)
nah... they love you just the way you are, trust me
at least weiner
babble males are great people. Most of them anyway.
wiener isn't in the grid*
no and heinie neither
yes, most
most all babblers are love people
very true. I am always amazed at this community. It is rare, so many good people together.

<--- would love to take a train someplace
thanks sprite can you clue the r above it please so i can have nbs and nbt
hi mom
trains are a great way to travel. I really regret that the stations and stairs and all make it tough for me.
they don't have escalators or elevators?
Jjenny: thing(s) that make fruit more ready to eat
only at some big stations he4, Mom. Most are just stairs.
we have an American Disability Act here where everything is to be accessible for those who can't take the stairs
We have that in theory, but in reality things are lacking
I don't think that come from that R sprite
that is a shame
they do, Jjenny. Ri7/32 and 8/45.
we also have that in theory, but from end of november to the next april you are usually out of luck
yeah it is. But we have a car, so I can't complain.
indeed crossy!
I have the compound word ri** + loch**** but still lack a R from the right column
thanks for that one!
Thanks Sprite, I didn't take it far enough
that one is not from the right, indeed. But the 7/8 combo is.
glad you found them Jjenny!

it is hard to believe there are really another 100 words in this grid.

why didn't the snow storm cross the road?
yay Mom :)
... don't know ...
ahh you down by mississauga/georgetown,etc
we got 2 inches of wet snow last night up here on georgian bay
... but there's something about that line because it runs the length of the province ... there will always be less snow south of that road than north of it
it sounds like the chicken joke
time to start my day ... ((Hugs)) to all of you
and the storm crossed the road to get to the chicken
*hugs* Mom, have a grand day
tc mom
(((Sprite))) thanks, you as well
bye bye ((Crossy)) you take care also
we have a aussie babbler in the grid today...
... it does sound like a chicken joke ... but I used to have to cross it every day to go to school ... ... would be driving along just fine ... then would pass highway 7 and be into white out and blowing snow conditions
... if I had an explanation ... I'd be doing the wather on television
Yer Me. see mention me and I appear. but going again to have a shower as I just walked in

crossy: pa7/8 combo: very dangerous spanish fighters?
lookin...
dangerous... spanish... fighers...
or mexican, maybe :)
is this like a pun, or an actual spanish word?
back for a short few... (((more hugs))) it's not raining here yet sprite, but I am hopeful!
it is like a cryptic clue, not an actual spanish word
you want rain, stiddie? You can have ours!
ok phew then i have a shot
mmm,sorry ,have no idea
think of the fighters in jungles, who hide and then hit. And think of the word for danger.
want snow??? you can have ours...i will take your rain
ah then this is pe, not pa.
reri5 should totally be a word.
not really, sprite, just saw earlier that you have a bit of weather today and wanted to let you know you're not alone... although I am not interested in COLD precipitation, cross...
ahh now it makes sense...pe NOT pa
okay, have to head out. back very much later... *poof*
yw c.h.
sprite was messing with poor crossy
*hugs stiddie* :)
yes pe
did I write pa?
you did.
yuppers:)
made poor crossy go head desk
darn. I am so sorry. I shouldn't try to do cryptic clues when I am so darn tired.
((sprite))
i'm not sure the cryptic nature of the clue contributed to the error.
no... I am stupid all the way through, lol
Back again
hi lady
lol, sprite,my thickness played a part i am sure
Howdy
no, having the wrong start letters is making it almost impossible. I am sorry.

Number of words today? and Thanks

Bye Sue

nice one
Dr Google gave me the es8 and 9.
is the ga9 a compound word?
it's a plural
ok but is it a plural of a compound word? :)
New words for me.
not to my knowledge
no - but it tells untruths at the end
ok
thanks got it!
that just leaves the li9, now THAT must be compound... yes? no?
yup
whew, i was right for a change!
dumb combo - and no def! but TY Hursh and Grant
peise

oh i see that was a CLUE
thanks
TY, weird word.
hi Annie
i thought it was an exercise
hi lynxxxie
I lost my connection to Babble for a few minutes.
i was fascinated to see why we were imagining a world with no passenger ships. now i'll never know.
That happened to me also, scrabbs
ooh i have all but ONE of the r's!
OOps - I had better head to bed. Didn't realise the time. Bye all

Sleep well, lynxxx. I didn't.

in7/32

Hi torgone
oh thanks!
hi tor
hi torgone
Morning ..
hints for the P and R in the lower-right corner?
this is so frustrating - we had to pay somebody and the information i got was slightly unclear so i asked his assistant did they want the check made out to the person or the company, and he said to the person. well then we sent the check and now he's got it and he says hey why is it made out to the person?
the P is a greek letter, eva
clue for the es8/9 plz
r's include... one who washes the soap off and pl, one who regrets and pl
and pl of those who make fruit ready to eat
i think those are the right 5.
es + more friendly (pa7) minus one of the L
ty hursh
got the fruit ones. got one soap one, but i think the others all come from a different tile. still working on the regretter... TY hurshy. :)
they are all "person who"
ok. apparently you cant make the soap one a plural. :)
oh then the regretter singular prob comes from the right
I need a different clue for the regretter
re + conifer, then make it person who
got em. thanks!
New word for me. TY.
New word for me. TY.

hi dawger!
hi scrabs

well, I hope it goes smoothly for you Scrabbs.. tc
hope it's a good lunch! later, scrabs
Clues for odd words: in6 = opposite of those that are at the margin or periphery. Think of Malcolm Gladwell's book, "Out*****."
Is that clue sufficient?
NBT, NBS, and now over halfway! now working on getting at least halfway through each tile. :)
had that one, Scrabbs.. you amaze me being able to recall author's names.. ty anyway
i have no 9's :-(
I have an eidetic memory---I am totally visual-spatial.
dawg--li9 = Lacking a Titanic in your fleet.
wow, love that ei word too!
did you get the he6 virus, Scrabbs?
ty scwabbs
well, I should say, did you find it, lol
I thought it was a phantom, Aloy. TY.

i *almost* made coffee the other day. i only drink it when im really tired. in my head, i had it all done up with some splenda + some almond extract. then i decided to lie down instead.

ty
galleried
oops
crap
ballocks
nope, none of those! lol
crap was a different grid
lol
so, no PB for crossy!
does it start with the ga 4/6?
starts with a state of matter and ends with prevaricators
loopy word
like a roller coaster
that's a new one for me! ty aloy
mmm...
me too.. looked it up and it is the type of light fixture in the "Phantom of the Opera" that is fueled with ga*
liar is a prevaricator, so I messed up.. change a vowel to apply the clue, sorry
got it ty
yay, wtg
the lamp light did it,ty
hard to clue with the proper word or would have given away the ending
crossy used to collect antique oil,gas lanterns
and.. did you find another collector when you stopped collecting them?
did indeed,
the old whale oil lamps are the biggies
that and some of the aladin pressure lamps the early floor models
kept a few for my own personal use though
ooh, just found the willow
cant enter letters why
are you getting red bars or what, smart?
one bullseye bedside lamp, one large kitchen lamp where the glass is a nice sea foam green and one old railway lantern
restart babble smart
we have railway lanterns
we used to work for the NYC RR
the ones with the RR logo on them carry a premium aloy
before it merged with the Pennsylvania RR
need the lone i and the corner p for nbt
ooh.. will look - just use them for deco along with one of the engine decals we had mounted
the ones the old time brakemen in the caboose used to signal the locomotive with

and any old steam whistles
do not polish them!!
ph4, greek letter.
ty
no.. we haven't done that, crossy
aloy..that wasn't the bottom lone i
no whistles.. the Leslie Supertyphon was used, the horn
all patina is good patinia,whether coins,steam whistles,furniture.
h'mm, could it be what happens when you get money from a deceased one?
that was it...ty
ok, good
lol, pe7 and pl: "an Asian herb", pe plus ending of a big hairy ape, and that clue almost puts me in the PB
asian herb..will that sends me off into the land of lost words lol
never heard of it.. a pretty word though
we have seen sa5.12 before, but I never looked it up: a starchy meal ground from the roots of certain orchids.. oh yes, of course! LoL.. sa + the beginning of Hansen's Disease; people were put in ***er colonies if they had it in the old ages
lol, think i will worry bout it when it becomes my last word

Hey all, first period planning!
howdy stidmama
hi stiddy

nm, found it
i have a 4 and 5 that sound like to make money
perp isn't a word? Shocking!
that's on perpose
tadone!! finito!! that was a twisty tricky grid!
you know its a good sign when youre drooling over your OWN lunch. :)
Back... YAY LBD!!!
sorry LBD! i was enamoured with my lunch that i totally missed that you finished. CONGRATS!!
Need to go get ready for the kiddos. High school today, lots of fun! *poof*
<--Laughs at Eva, lusting her lunch : )
that's a saladacious comment
what kind of salad, eva?
its a yummy chicken bevo salad from austin grill. (wonders how people knew i have a salad, when i never said that? ::looks around for hidden babble-cam::)
has anyone ever had a buttermilk pie?
no, but i just googled it + it sounds sinful!
Eva, it's all Ru's fault, he's the one spying on you.
::looks sideways at ruru::
lol eva..you ALWAYS have a salad..crossy adjusts computer cam hackware...
yes it does sound sinful, but i think i can cut some of the calories out...add more nutmeg and cinnamon...
not true! its been AGES since i brought one to work...
lowfat buttermilk... egg whites... maybe splenda instead of sugar... margarine?
though serious for a moment..if you have ever given a tech, computer repair shoppe or anyone else computer acess privilages on windows 7,they CAN operate any built in web cams or cams plugged in via usb ports remotely
i actually read that ages ago, yes. thankfully only my work computer ever sees anyone other than me. i assume the man always has his eye on me anyway.
lol, they probabbly have a key logger set up
sadly, since i work around the IT department, while i dont know EVERYTHING they do, im fairly confident they dont have anything that high-tech set up here.
big companies use em.it records every keystroke you do and it can all be reacalled at a later date
hi all, clue please for pi7/36
lol,now that i have everyone running for the tinfoil hats,i best get a few more words:)
my old coworker DID get an old IT guy fired from here, though. he was working on her computer + she had to go to a meeting, she she left him in her workstation (we all sorta know each other here, so thats not unusual)
as a prank, her bookmarked a bunch of.... well, UNallowed websites on her computer.
well, she did get flagged + was in serious trouble.
treat your personal work computer like your purse..do you trust that person rummaging in your purse? no? then hands off my work computer..go surf porn on yer onw lol
own
thankfully, she knows a thing or two about IT herself. she showed her managers the date/timestamp of when those bookmarks were made. she had proof she was in a meeting + was able to show that he was at her workstation.
it didnt take long for them to walk him out after that.
i am glad she did not get fired for someone elses idiocy
pi7/36 please?
(((flask))) hi hin. pi7 is a conifer and fluid out of a tree
they were sorta-kinda friendly before that (which i guess is why he felt ok playing that sort of prank on her) but needless to say, they were NOT friends afterward.
of that i am sure
im ALL for playing pranks on coworkers (we do it regularly here) but nothing that would find them hurt or injured, and nothing that would jeopardize anyones job.
Wow!!! so am NOT invisible, what relief lill! xx
ty lillian
whenever someone here goes on vacation, it is EXPECTED that their cubicle is pranked before they get back. :)
lol, flask,i see you.i just did not have it
you're never invisible to me hin :) xx
Flask, tree blood
yw crossy
one coworker returned to find everything on her desk wrapped in tinfoil. another came back to find hundreds of gummy bears stuck all over his walls. another returned to discover his stash of desk toys was missing, and a ransom note was in its place.
okay, i better get moving. hagd everyone
thanx lbd....
well, that is all good fun eva,but the work station computer should be off lim its
ever do the phone buried in a jello mold?
bye lbd tc
i think the closest we ever came to messing with someones computer was popping all the keys off their keyboard + rearranging them. ;) but yes, i agree crossy. leave their computer alone.
crossy, no, but i HAVE sent that to our prank-leader! alas, our equipment belongs to the company, so we cant do that, as it would be ruined. we HAVE considered buying a cheap replacement to pull the prank with that could easily be replaced with the real thing....
sounds good
i also REALLY want to do "rubber band phone" to someones phone. (http://tinyurl.com/ckf2xva) then be sure to call them as soon as they get into the office...hah
if you have cubicles, cover the opening in saran wrap then fill the entire cubicle to the top with foam packing peanuts
i wish we used the fax machine more often. a funny one is to prank send someone a fax, but feed a sheet of black construction paper through...as it goes through, you tape the ends together in an endless loop. it totally kills the ink cartridge of the person youre sending it to...hehe
or if male, take the entire cubicle apart and rebuild it exactly in the womens washroom,if female rebuild it in the mens washroom
this is a photo of the gummy bear prank we did (keep in mind the guy LOVES gummy bears) http://tinyurl.com/cgowkc6
here at mcmaster U we had our engineering dept take apart a professors car right down to its basic parts and rebuild it in his office
Eva, does everyone think these pranks are funny?
lol eva
we only play them on each other, so yes. :)
ok
when they had to take it apart to remove it,they changed every single worn out part..car was like new afterwards
help with s and p in the corners pls
tinfoil cube: http://tinyurl.com/c2jcxcy
lol,eva yes ,i have seen that one done in the past
they made sure to get a few really random items, so to this day, sometimes she opens a drawer to find something wrapped in tinfoil. hehe
ph 4/6 peri..a common babblet
ty crossy
i was actually a little bummed/offended that my cube was untouched after my honeymoon...lol
got an S fromthe corner
if i was there i would of had your cube on the roof:))
alas, we do not have roof access...heh
so6/30 someone who plants seed and pl and the other so 6 has a different cons before pl
thats the kinda prank that would get us in trouble. we are limited to something smaller-scale here. :)
well, there must be a way up there i am sure
help with 8's and 9'spls
That S in the corner had me stumped for a while, Peri.
I am in the grid again :-)
one guy got married + came back to find his cube decorated like a 12-year-old princess girls room. complete with justin beiber posters. hehe
you are indeed and so is herin
Yes, I noticed peri
another guy just got back from vacation + we went subtle -- put teeny-tiny little paper mustaches on all of his photos. took him DAYS to notice!
es9/60...es + whiter shade of ***e + comparative ending/plural

I can't wait to go home today! I get a day pass for the public holiday :)) get to go hassle my family!
howdy ivesy
Hey crossy! And mrp!!! :)
Hey mrp... did you get my email of the other day?
Where are you? How is everything?
Oh no... you're in the hospital, mrp? :(
la
howdy neil
and now it is time for crossy,s tidbit of the day!!
believe it or not, Chrysler Corporation created Highway Hi-Fi, an audio format that enabled the 16 RPM records to be played in their cars from 1956 to 1958. The system employed a sapphire stylus with a ceramic pick up on a turntable that was installed below the instrument panel. A record player installed in a car? Yes, it really happened
they started pulling them as early as summer of 57 as they were prone to malfunction due to the high stlylus pressure needed to prevent skipping at highways speeds and were all serviced at a high cost under warranty
Hey crossy. Looks like mrp left.
Records were played in cars... seriously?!
Wow. I never knew that.
probably chasing beefcake doctors around
yes sir they were
Wouldn't it skip a lot on bumps in the road?
neil,i had a boombox in the 7o,s with a record player for 33 1/3 s and 45s
Oh nm... I just read the rest, haha.
like i said they really ramped up the pressue on the stylus
Wow, crossy. Never knew that existed either.
but it was prone to malfunction and wore the grooves out rapidly
I'm sure it would.
i imagine any collector cars with it installed would carry a premium as it was a factory instaLL job when ordered new and was never available as a aftermarket item
I see... yeah, probably.
Hello all!
Or maybe "hello both" LOL only two chatters it seems...
Aw, I killed the chat?
Huh?
No... but people aren't always here and looking at it all the time. I was away from the computer.
I think crossy is too... in his email.
But hello!
Wow firefly... just read your bio. So glad for you that you came through all of that ok!
Hiya neil - still loving your handle ;)
thanks NN
updated my info again - nothing special, but thanks for reminding me i had that bio stuff in there neil!
You're welcome, firefly. :)
Haha, well you don't know what's behind it.
[my "handle" that is]
are you gonna tell?
Good luck with the insurance company, firefly - they can be so dang aggravating!!
And crossing my fingers and toes for you for a complete recovery. Wow - what a journey.
Any stats for the fourth column e, please?

How sweet. :)
later, firefly!
Ok fireflly... send an email to the address on profile and I'll send that to you.
it's strange - you can pre***** your hair, but you cannot re***** your hair?
reading your bio firefly and wish you a speedy recovery and a settlement with the insurance company..if they shut you down find their home facebook site and post the entire thing on there for the world to see..it is amazing how that can change things for the better in a hurry
does anyone have the pr 7, before the 8/9?
not I
Great idea, Crossy!
Wow crossy, yeah... that's probably good advice.
I don't think I've ever pr****** my hair

is that the amphibian one?
"the big companies hate bad publicity and with facebook 1 million people will be reading it before the day is out
Yep.
It's brilliant.
as a matter of fact,FB is better than the newspapers for venting on a company
I've done similar myself.
Sure is.
one b4 re +something is torn apart
And Twitter... I vented about an airline on there on behalf of some friends of ours who were kicked off a Southwest Air flight for KISSING, would you believe? Yeah... "family friendly"? Ha.
ty uni, it ws the ammphian one
yw :-)
neil, that's amazing
It really was... we were all shocked.
I mean a couple can't even kiss on a flight? Wow.
I think the fact that they're both women is totally irrelevant... the airline didn't think so though.
And that's blatant discrimination.
neil, speaking of airlines, a friend who's a retired flight attendant sent me this -- hilarious! http://www.ninakatchadourian.com/photo graphy/sa-flemish.php
it's totally discriminatory . . . wonder if they actually have a written policy
Haha! Too funny.
No. Of ocurse not... it was one flight attendant who took exception to it. The airline offered them a very public apology, even on Twitter.
course, even
Geez. My typing's down the tubes today.
wow . . . glad they got a public apology!
pups begging to go out -- back in a mo *poof*
Yes but they didn't feel it was sufficient. And I'm kind of with them on that.
