agreed, ruby, but as we are about to enter winter, not an option. also need the area to be mother mac friendly. she has been unable to 'play' with her plants almost since she moved in, 7 1/2 years ago. i am paying a landscaper to get everything done, except the necessary stiars needed for her to get down to the garden itself.

perhaps he's subconsciously working out old issues with her, being passive-aggressive
ruby, they can be very cold. sometimes snow, but more often winds with a chill factor you don't want to experience.

well, i made the call i did to sort of save my sanity, but it may cast a small shadow on my future (we are talking work junk here)
see, my manager is out all week, so i am covering for him. i dont mind doing it, but it ups my stress level -- especially when i have to present his stuff at this one weekly meeting.
well, the gal who usually runs the meeting is most likely leaving the contract soon, and i am the #1 contender for her position.

she just asked me if id like to run todays meeting (she cant be there today) and i told her that normally i would, but since i have to present for my own manager today (and ive never run the meeting before) i would probably be more comfortable just doing that.
im just hoping that doesnt make it look like i cant handle her duties + shouldnt get the position. i did tell her that if the usual fill-ins arent available to let me know
From an outsiders view, I think that is a fine response. I wouldn't take it as a shot in the foot

relatively speaking, he is doing ok. no spinal damage, but some blood + bruising on the brain. his left side is responding normally, but his right side is showing numbness -- but the Drs say thats somewhat normal, since thats where his IV is. he has 20+ fractures throughout his face + skull. his ICP (not sure what that is?) is around 10. apparently Drs dont really start worrying until its over 20?
Like the cat Katie looks like the twin of one of mine!! Perhaps from the same family because my two rule the roost too!

yes sometimes they come in with no feet at all! I've seen some pretty bad stuff. Some people either just don't know better, don't care or had hard luck. Cute horse.
