They are absolutely amazing. I love watching them.
Did I tell you hubby is going to have to have his right knee replaced (eventually)? He is bone on bone... cortisone has removed pain, but it will be inevitable.
He thought it was a torn meniscus, so he was shocked and not very happy about it.
oh.. geez. that's where I am.. but avoiding the cortisone shots
He abhors shots, but they did it before he could think about it... said pain reduced immediately and within 3 days had no pain at all. They told him they can do them every 3 months, until that doesn't hold, then he'll need surgery.
oh. man.. I'm sure he's not happy about it
He said he could not believe the immediate relief.
Definitely not... said it was probably caused from playing basketball and working in construction 100 years ago :)

and you certainly don't want to repeat the surgery when you're 80 +
used to be you could only have one knee replacement, but now the research says two per lifetime
plus this will be a cheaper solution for awhile... we have a HUGE deductible, so it would be nice to postpone it for awhile
i'm afraid to figure out what it's going to cost me

And since the plan was to share stories of him, I'll tell you mine: I was in the club where he worked, and he was really busy, doing drinks, when this %£(@~ of a man started harrassing me for how I was dressed, since he figured out I was male. I remember Jesse turned around and said, "she's more of a man than you'll ever be, and more of a woman than you'll ever get." And I always remembered him for that. I thought it was lovely.

well, I guess you're entitled to not like it, but the word isn't an insult. it's an accurate, if joking, assessment. the pony is old, he's not getting used for anything, but he's pretty. I have a sentimental attachment to him. How is that not an ornament? if I didn't care about him, I'd either euthanize him or send him to auction. Instead I continue to indefinitely feed a horse that isn't capable of work. That's what a pasture ornament is, and what everyone I've ever heard use the phrase means by it.
