I enjoyed it a lot. Now I am reading Matthew Pearl's latest book of historical fiction: The Technologists. It is about the start of MIT and the role of science and technology in 1868.
That should be fascinating. I will look into it but my next book is Steve Jobs.

there is a "safety" header on your computer annie..click on that and cookie cleaning comes up on the menu
it is quite fool proof as well,lets you tidy the registry cleaner without the danger of actually going right into it yourself

Tis the season for grilling. Also tis the season for remembering how to light monster grills.
I did a little put out the fire put out the fire dance, then realized there wasn't any fire, then hosed everything down (including myself) to be sure there would not be a fire... then took a shower to get rid of the burnt hair smell, got some burn gel for my hand, and settled in for a nice quiet evening at home...

does sound lovely, jilly -- I have been using artichoke tapenade as a base for pizzas lately, but pesto would be a nice change

Nrkii, you are right -- it's a delicate issue in terms of folks who want to practice their faith in all areas, including government. It's an eons long question. Many Christian denominations (including Catholics) have trouble justifying certain wars, yet don't use the religious freedom argument to avoid certain taxes. Ditto with other health care issues -- for example, most insurance carriers provide vasectomies and other birth control measures to men, and have for decades. The Church has not spoken up about that before. Nor have we protested paying insurance premiums for employees who have other covered services that present a moral problem for the Church. .... It's just .... difficult.

i live 2 miles away from the evacuation zone. but they just lifted the evac for that area.. although the fire is still at 2500-3000 acres and 0% containment. the sun is sure pretty and the smell reminds me of camp...makes me feel guilty thinking that

Ho5/26 babblers! I am done with grid so here is a story of clues. My favorite sport to watch is basketball. I love it when they make a sh 4/5 and the basketball goes sw 6/33 right through the ho4/6 and then you hear the oo 4/5 and aahs from the crowd. Husband does not like to watch basketball games though. Hubby op4/5 to watch baseball instead. He ow 4/8 Yankee paraphernalia that he has bought in various sh 5/14. He has many ph4/6os of the players. He writes po /6s about the team and po 4/5s them on FB. His favorite player is Derek Jeter who plays second base po 5/12ion. He wishes he could be in Jeter's sh 5/12 and make all that money. Hubby loves it when Yankees wh6/36 the pants off the Red Sox.Hubby wants the computer. I suppo4/5 I should st4/5 babbling and give it to him so he does not st 4/4 up trouble. I am going to watch a TV sh4/9 on the Ar4/4&Entertainment channel.Goodnight to all babblers!I'll see you tomorrow
