I watched a very interesting show last night on PBS...it kept me up until 2am as a matter of fact! It was a documentary made by a man walking the Continental Divide Trail. It was really cool.
sounds like a good show car, I've done some of the local portions of the CDT and it's always fun when we meet someone who is doing the whole trail!
(usually they look pretty hungry by the time they get to Montana....)

I'm very lucky. Daughter #1 can live at home whilst attending college. Hopefully daughter # 2 can do the same.
my daughter does not want to live at home...college is only a half hour away....while it would be alot cheaper I think it does teach them some responsibility to be away....
she had her stumbling points last year but all in all she did well with shopping for herself for those toiletry items and getting what she needed to eat while fulfilling her studies...She will have a much tougher year this year with her schedule. Many late night classes.

I think I like that, Good :) English is my second language, so I like wordy things. Helps my vocabulary! I love his characterisation though. Definitely a strength.

Possibly, although I can certainly see what you mean! It did slow the story down a little. I enjoyed his first novel a lot though. Bizarre books, I think.
