Just found a tube of E 45 Rose - dermatological cream - for dry skin - lanolin and paraffin seem to be main ingredients

emollient was the word I was trying to remember not emulsifying!
oh, urea a good ingredient for itchy rashes.
rose is they anything i can put in bath to help with the skin doctor said no bubbles untill it al gone :(
as i said in my email, anything with a tar component is very good for itchy rashes. i use pinetarsol....not sure if it available other there. surely something similar around.

I'm sure the pharmacist at somewhere like Boots would tell you if there is something like Rose is saying.

wish i did know what did rash in 1st place as what ever it is can not use or eat it again
get daniel to write down the name of the lotion i use, the pharmacist could check it on their computer and find something similar. it doesn't smell the best, but the relief is amazing.

sarah, keep your diet very plain, and only fresh foods until this rash has gone...then you and your doctor can gradually introduce foods and work out what it was. it would be helpful if you could write down what you ate yesterday and the day before.
only thing i change in diet is i now have sweetner and no sugar
well, what about something different in the chemical line, like detergent, soap etc.

ooohhh, are you drinking low-joule drinks, drinks sweetened with artificial sweeteners?
i am drinking coffee with sweetner and skimmed milk and no added sugar still apple & lime flavoured spring water

Once you have the Roku box, Annie, (which, BTW, is VERY easy to set up) and put in a code for your computer you just go on Netflix and choose the things you want to stream and, bingo, they are there on Roku. It automatically streams them. I now have the entire 7 seasons of West Wing, all of Highlander, and so many more....and no commercials.

Hi Rose - lots of luck with that! We've got the son (and girlfriend) of some good UK friends arriving this evening - that's why I'm baking. I love baking but try to avoid having sweet things in the house!!!!
oh, dear, liz. sounds like the hips are gonna need a work out. lol. ditto on the sweet stuff in the house. also avoiding most products with loads of fat.
Also try to do that! Usually go to the gym 3x a week - but that's always difficult, when taking guests around. Just hope the rain holds off enough for us to get to the places we want!

i remember as a child, holidaying up at noosa heads. we would be on the beach, and mid-afternoon there was a mad dash for the house as the skies opened.
still pretty warm, hence my anxiety over the freezer.strange tho', the meat has stayed frozen.* shrug * go figure!!
I remember that from when my brother worked in Thailand! But here it can rain at any time of the day and often does several times a day - not quite tropical enough to be able to say late / afternoon or evening rain!
Must be a good freezer! By around 30 hours we were concerned enough to have to cook what we couldn't get into our friend's freezer!

Yes, that's the worry - you want to keep checking the meat but every time you open the freezer, it warms it up!!! Got to decide at which point you say *Got to cook it now*
