We do for sure--2 years of little rain Iam not complainig
hello ladies, can't sleep, so annoying, so will see if I can finish off this grid
hello flosey. I'm sorry you can't sleep. I've been having a different problem, falling asleep during TV in the evening and waking up too early
that is annoying too, ruby
when I can't fall asleep, I go through th alphabet looking for 7-letter scrabble words It's so boring, that it puts e right out
worth trying
you could always start reading Moby Dick! I've heard that's an instant zzzzz
Hi Flosey----I keep seeing pie in this grid and its making me want something I dont have here right now.----
bye, seeyou later
I did too pugs, but couldn't make a 4 letter word out of it

*giving husband evil look* he expects me to'meander 'down to mother macs rooms and pick out her clothes for rehab....and this is after 2 shifts from hell, where i can barely get out of the car when i get home!!! finished one at 9:30pm last night, back at 7:30 this AM. brb *sigh*
{{{rose}}}
hey chrissie!! do so hope you have strong shoulders to weep on....i feel so "used".
lol, ...offering broad shoulder..
I can see you smiling through the tears though
well i did it, hun. went down, picked out mother macs clothes, and as he was leaving remembered to ask about the fresh fruit supply...oh, she still has a mandarine and 2 plums....and by the way...kiwi fruit are giving her indigestion.....arrrggghhh!
chrissie, thank heavens for friends like you.....hope i haven't left your shoulder too wet
Withhold the fresh fruit, they might keep her a little longer. (evil grin)
lol....that's the first laugh in a totally evil day....
How's your own mum?
good grief chrissie, where do i start? she is so over the top....yesterday morning, you may recollect, she demanded her children to be present at a 8am meeting....then in the midst of all the facts and figures spewed out by the nursing home administrator, she laughed and rubbed her hands together, and said...i'm such an expensive little old lady to keep, aren''t i....it was my bros and i could do, not to laugh out loud at her obvious self-importance....and the administrator's eye-brows disappeared into her hair-line.
Wow, how do you cope with an attitude like that. Serve her right if you'd all walked out, though I do know you wouldn't do that
Wow! I can't help but overhear...
*grin* chrissie, google the term destructive narcissistic parent...my bros and i have been thru intensive counselling...and we are out on the other side.
pro aboput the meeting? she has decided on her own accord to go into permanent full-time care. none of us kids really want anything to do with her. it is only a sense of obligation laid on us by our deceased father which keeps us attending to her needs.
it's quite sad, really. aged parents deserve full care and attention by their kids....but my mum?....hand me the tontine pillow.
Just had a wikipedia quick read. Sounds horrendous rose. You've obviously broke the cycle. Glad she has made that decision, will save you doing jail time ;)
LOLOL, you don't realise how loudly, chrissie...i think the cops would call it justifiable homicide
I hope I'm not being nosy here... but it's in chat so I looked it up. I've never heard of that. I can not imagine.
alexis...it's not a widely recognised diagnosis....YET!!!
It's very interesting (probably not for you)...
my mother compalins about being lonely. she wants someone there 24/7 entertaining her.. funny thing is she lives in an apart. attached to my brothers house. bad of me, but i dont get along with her. too many childhood memories, too many things she said to me. i force myself once in while to see her, but im a very bad daughter
It actually sounds like my brother. He is unjustifiably narcissistic... it's very extreme
ives, there is a great book if you can find it...it's called..children of the self-absorbed...sub-title...a grownups
sounds like my mother.. ty granny will see if i can find it.
agghh, sub-titled...a grownup's guide to getting ove narcissistic parents...written by nina w brown
ivesy, you are not the bad daughter....she is the bad parent. once you read the book, you will be amazed.
I'm going to find that book and send it to my friend
and that is "to getting over narcissistic parents"
Reminds me of Joan Crawford. She only found her children useful when they were very little and brought her attention
found it on amazon, and also our library system. going to order it from library. then may buy it.ty grannyrose
ty rose, this information sounds useful for someone really close to me, will pass it on
good-luck, ives. i really hope you find it useful
i remember first being divorced. son and i had very little money or food. she wouldnt lift a finger. ws mad cuz i left hubby. i nver got over it . she told me. thats the way you wanted it.
yay, chrissie. it's not something one readily talks about. you feel as if you are worthless. it is only because of this book i can speak out.
ives, my mum spent mo4 of my first marriage telling me how my hubby was such a so-and-so, then once i had divorced him, had the audacity to tell me, it was all my fault.
sounds like they may be related !
speaking of parents, this one has to go pik up son to take to bus ... it never stops.. my mantra.. "one freaking day of peace"
probably are...do you have a thomas burton ward in your family history?
not that i know of. but be interesting to check it out
lol, ives...we may be related after all
bbl. have good day/nite all.. and dont let the mothers get us down lollol.(anyway u say that sounds just like i meant it)
now wouldn't THAT be weird?
ives, have a good one, hun. i'm here for you.

{{{ruby}}} any chance you can send me pics of rafaella and ruffino? would love to see them, sweetie.
raffie looks like a monster although she's still very cute but because she dribble HUGE amounts of water when she drinks, she looks like the beard ed lady or Czar Nicholas
husband looked for a huge bib today, but I think I'll have to rig something with a dishtowel s it's embarrassing

howdy judi
and now it is time for crossy's tidbit of the day!!
yay!
Talk about protective parenting. According to Mayan tradition, a mother should cover her newborn’s face for the first year of life in order to drive away evil spirits, a practice still carried out in rural Guatemala.

Wow. How odd.
I've already got those pipp! now if it was some of the Os that would be wonderful

Anyone have clues for the Wa6 and 7?
NM. Just monkied it. Eesh.
the up 6 and 7 are new ones for me
Wht eesh /
Indian name for elk.
why eesh? ye gods! morning
howdy hoots
Obscure, to say the least.
Hi crossy
You must be young Judy.
ty for indian elk..had to google it
yw
tidbit..wa6 literally means "white rump"
Sorry, not up on my elk body parts.
see? every day in babble is a new adventure in learning
Indeed it is.
hello
howdy mflfan
It may have helped to have a son in scouts and having to learn about Indian culture.
hi cross
lol,i will get that right yet
Crossy--back to that kid, I missed the very first part but got he gist--a recent study showed kids who were on farms had the best immune systems, and thiose who walked through the barn every day had the very best. Goes to show.
stats for the U?
i am on wifes laptop computer and compared to a regular keyboard, the keys feel so delicate that i am afraid of breaking it and often i do not press hard enough
does indeed,roundbarn
up 6/45 and 7/64
it is a very gentle vertical column of wind
I must be getting senile. If pawn isn't in the dictionary, how do we spell pawn shop?
it is in the grid
try again round
cross can you clue it please?
Thanks--the first time it came up red and distinctly said it wasn't in. The dictionary mustn't have had its coffee.
enable,is a riddle, wrapped up in a mystery enshrouded in a conundrum, the rest of course is perfectly clear
ty crossy, good clue
hi all
howdy peri
Stumped by 2nd po5/14.
can someone clue the U please?
i just did
Enable tends to do whatever it wants! I have entered words 4-5 x and it said no...next day it either said yes or compained that I had already entered it!
NM. I'm a dope.
at 09:40
if we threw all these letters on a wall we could get lots of good words, like potato and impius. or isn't that a word.
lol, roundbard, like the president said a few years ago, americans spell it with and e on the end:))
impious?
think that was clinton
hoot, even spelled right it could go on the wall.
but then again our very own pierre trudeau used to give the queen the finger behind her back lol
yup!
Judi, not a dope. That is a pretty weird word.
think I'll make a game. throw them all on a table and make whatever you want. But I think that's been done, my kids and I used to play a game like that. The letter cubes were thrown out of a cup.
boggle i think
First column O stats please?
ot6/18
boggle, tjey're still in order on a grid. Boggle is good to take on airplanes.
Huzzah! Fireworks!
wtg Judi
"now we just take tablets on planes and play thousands of games read hundreds of books
yaa for judi!!
help for te6,21 please?
Allergies are weird this year. I don't usually get itchy eyes. Now I have them. Bloomin annoying.
benadryl for you
Te6/21: little guy who sings about being short and stout.
bad allergy day for me
Yes. Have to get some of that.
he dast and he dasn't--there is a special dictionary for this game? I gather it's called enable. hah.
here is my handle, here is my spout;)
More like disable.
going to donate a bag of clothes to goodwill. bbl
That te7 rhyme was ruined for me by Stephen King's "Storm Of The Century" : O
when we first started babble, roundbarn,we used to get angry and the omissions in enable, now we are fond of it,much in the way you are fond of a handicapped pet in that it cannot do everything a regular pet can do,but you love it just the same
Sorry, te6
TY Judi
reminds me,Mr King is supposed to have two new ones coming, one about a haunted carnival and one that is a part deux to the shining..will have to see how he is coming along with them
I will learn to love it. I used to play srabble with my cousin in cornwall, she used an oudated british scrabble dictionary and wouldn'ty let me use yob or yobbo. Wonder if the new scr dict has those words.
I started to watch that movie once, Molly. It was so awful, I had to turn it off. I think the only Stephen King adaptations that worked on film were, Christine (and that's a stretch), "It" and "The Stand". Everything else was pretty much rubbish.
i have a good riddle about the te6
what starts with T, ends with T, and is full of T
we used to have a rule when playing scrabble at other peoples homes in that if it was not in any book that was in the house and it was challenged,it did not exist
Yes it does, RoundBarn
Gotta get to work--at what I'm paying my helper I can't indulge any more, we have different words to deal with. I gusee the babble word is poof? for now.
I would add "Stand By Me" and "The Shawshank Redemption"
the green mile was also very good
Oops, yes, "The Green Mile" too.
Okay. I have to agree, Molly. Forgot about those. I loved "Shawshank". Movie was better than the short story.
Didn't realize Green Mile was a King thing. I stopped reading him years ago.
i bought the green mile when it first came out in those chapter books.silly me.ended paying over 60 dollars for the entire thing and the year after that the released it as a single book
Gotta scoot. There's more coffee to be had. *POOF*
hi all./ any 4 letter clues out there?
oops i meant any 7 letter word clues. so sorry.
lol, mark twain had the right idea.feed them a few chapters, charge them through the nose and make them wait for the next one
I never heard of those chapter books! What are they worth now?
not sure, hoots, but they are still on my bookshelf
Might be interesting to find out.
would not thnk that too many were sold as it was a very expensive way to get an entire book
Judi - I don't even remember which King it was; but the first sentence was a nasty description and I never finished it and never tried to read him again!
not kings first stab at a big cash grab though.he release the short story my pretty pony in a small metal coated book with a clcok embedded on the coer and did a tiny printing and sold them for a fortune
lol, hoots,if you are sensitive in any way,do not read stephen king
I think he is an egomaniac of the finest water!
you have to reseach him a bit.his short story 'last rung on the ladder' is amazing and there is not a single swear word, ghost or goulie in it same goes for quitter incc and the ledge
I also think he is sick! I have read many books with killigs of one kind or another and not been bothered. But he seems to enjoy describing every form of nastiness and I will not waste my money or my nerves on him!
lol,each to their own,hoots
hi all. any 7 letter word clues out there?
hello
interesting stuff on the chat today. books books books.
picked up a vc andrews of the wifes once and the author was slowly poisoning children trapped in an attic.so there ya go
have got to love the books
speaking of books, i just started Utopia.
i am a realtor and 90% of what i read i get from houses i sell when there is an estate sale. i either go to the sale or i take from what is left over after which will go to trash, with permission of the owner. some of the stuff is very old but very interesting. i love biographies. real lives are more bizarre than fiction.
they can be indeed
I belong to 3 bookclubs and when they warn you that there is graphic violence, I don't buy them. I am also finding it harder and harder to find ANY really good stuff.
all depends what tickles your fancy, hoots
hoot, try biographies. love em.
yws, biographies and the like would be reasonably safe
any clues for the u words?
look up mark twains autobiography is supposed to be very good
I have mkg - but I'm also finding them turning into brag books and it's kinda boring to read about people all the time.
up 6 and 7= a very gentle vertical column of wind
i read the life of lucille ball. fascinating. i read the life of shelley winters. also very interesting. lots of sleeping around. but still very interesting.
i think you need books on puppies and kitties;) go with james herriot and the ilk
Science fiction, mysteries, history, food, you name it, I'll read it.
read old stuff! go to used bookstores. trumans bio by mc callister is wonderful.
i cant get enough bios.
autobiographies are the brag books. skip those.
however, hoots there is tons of good SF out there
one auto i thought was interesting was by diane keaton. about her and her mom. not a brag book.
still need clues.
gave it mkg
at 10:16
now reading a book called the man who loved china, by simon winchester, about dr. needham. great bio.
will go back and look cross
thought you missed it
dont know the word. will think what it may be.\
mkg - I have a used book store on speed dial! Part of the problem is where I live. VERY hard to get scifi and old stuff here. They are VERY straitlaced in public. The libray has one row pd scifi in the young adult section. That's why i mail order. But harder and hard to get decent stuff from them either. I HATE 12-15 book series!
ty for clue. wish iwere smarter
if you like sf,hoots go with the old masters.enders game, the cold equasions, flowers for algernon, almost anything by isaac asimov
robert silverberg
hoot, do you do amazon? used books there can be very cheap.
the thomas covenant series which is sci fi/fantasy
the liveship seies
ok,crossy will shut up about books then
i cant get into sci fi. guess i am too literal and too into reality. my issue.
Try abe.com for an amazing selection of books, reasonably priced.
by the way, if you havent seen it do see the movie "the intouchables" which is based on true story and in the end you see the real people. it is not only funny but really amazing and happy ending.
also see searching for sugarman, another movie. it is documentary and AMAZING. you couldnt make this up it is so unbelievable.
Crossy - I HAVE read all of those! I am not a kid. Been reading scifi since the 60's. I OWn most of those books. The problem is the new stuff that is more violent and seems to have no end!
ty for u words. got both. any more seven letter clues?
hoot, switch genre's. bios are the way to go. reality is better than fiction...............what people have gone through is incredible.
i can send yu some books hoot. did you read nisi?
anyone watch jeopardy last night?
Not my favorite kind of reading mkg - particularly if it's someone I don't care about.
i just gave away over 2000 books. darn. i could have sent them to you hoot.
hoot there are many where you never heard of the people. but ok if not what you like nothing to say.
mkg - I appreciate the offer but the thousands we already have are already overflowing the bookcases we have.
any clues for the other three 7 letter words?
What happened on jeopardy Steve?
it was me!
DAMN! - I missed it! Will you be on again?
today again
Good - I'll watch!
OK - BF has been alerted - we will watch you defeat more people!
hi everyone :) steve... good luck. did you give us a "shout out"? ;)
<---i'm in jeopardy every day

ty steve, hunting.
i'm sorry, that's what happens when you're in a hurrry... needed th lower i in the 3rd column.... ;)
but thanks for the o word :))
io4 a small amount
have that one crossy, it must be off the upper i in that column
it4?
a product
and pl
no worries, i will return and get it then.. the word must go downwards, ot else it can be made from the upper i..
i have all the i,s so it must be one of those
thanks for the help, see ya in a bit. :))

Hello again :)
yw
Just spotted Crossy's remark about poot! Have any of you see - google it!! - brain fart song on Youtube - sure it will make you laugh
hi all!
thanks to the chat I FINALLY have nbt, was a struggle with this one!
Poot : D I haven't heard that word since my kids were in pre-school.
My granddaugher - aged 5 - was telling me about her ballet class. She said 'we point our toes, we skip, we turn round, we bend down and we all 'parp'!!! I said I am sure you don't. She said 'yes we do, Nana'!!!
: D
hello everybody
Cant watch any TV tonight - it will be all Margaret Thatchers funeral. I really don't know what the woman did to deserve the pomp and circumstance she got
It cost £10 million too
My time in Boston makes me want to enter smoot as a unit of measure. Alas, not in the general lexicon.
good afternoon/evening, yall.
And Deeha, i'm not a fan of hers, though her impact did warrant a state funeral, though that cost seems exorbitant.
I've tried to enter smoot too, it certainly wouldn't be the silliest unit of measure I've seen in here. I didn't notice it was in today's grid, though
agreed re not the silliest unit of measure, sue :)
:-)
Pi5 i learned as ending in -te back in the day.
pi5.14 that is.
uusue, thanks for the astronomy pic and info, as always. And news on Frank. You're in my thoughts.
thanks, roundbarn, he's not doing too well today but they are taking good care of him here
hello everyone - diving in *splash*
hi nan!
hi Sue, how's Frank? hi nan. Round, seain
hi bichon, he's been having a hard time, they are giving him a bunch of extra medicine today and we hope he will feel better (antinausea stuff, magnesium, extra fluids, along with the usual chemo today)

hi sprite!
hiya double U sue :)
hi sprite, do you have a hint for the pi 7?
lol no yet, I just started. Let me see.

patrio****
I can't get the middle letter :-(
yvw bichon, and hi :)
oh, nm, got it
sue, the english drink it
lol
it's the third letter I can't find -- not a or i
different vowel, nan
the life of ** + latin AND
and what I thought was the third letter was really the fourth letter (the one sprite clued), once I figured that out it made more sense
there is a 5/12 that is the root
then I have the wrong ending
thought it was ism
the last st 5, pls
yep, that ending, which I tried not to type in the chog
that's the right ending, nan
which i are we starting with?
the one to the right
starts with the lower p and heads right, nan
not seeing it, no matter which i that i try
oh -- thought you were cluing an ip 7
nm, got the st 5
sorry bichon, I just started, don't know about first or last yet
it's okay, got it
it's actually a Dutch word
give up

*nan
yes, old german, indeed
was looking for the ip 7
very common in New York City, where I grew up
not, it's pi 7
there's also an ip7. I don't have it yet, either.
ip + meditation chant + 3 vowels (you can put those same 3 vowels after the t and get a common babblet)
got the pi, finally
wow. What a strange word. thanks.
well that was interesting... severe lag and lots of red boxes
That happened to me earlier, sprite.
bbl, need break with 13 left
it is a plant, the ip
hi windingwake, frustrating
ty sue
bye bichon
yw
op 6, please?
type of addictive drug, nan
got the drug, but don't see anything that sounds remotely similar that is accepted
last three letters are past tense of to eat
ends in had for dinner
ah -- ty - was going for something that rhymes with the drug
Wow, chat gets ultra confusing when there are weird words in the grid.
hi molly. Babble lingo.
hi sprite, molly, nan, sue, bichon, and winding :)
hiya Kate :)
Has anyone found ot 6, 18? I've found a word in enable and in the word lists but it won't go in.

We had a blizzard last saturday that took us until yesterday to clear away. But the snow is leaving fast now.
c'mon chinook - do your stuff ;)
where are you in ab, bog?
chinooks are more in southern ab
cybernan, where is 'God's country? We always called southern alberta that!
I'm just south of Edmonton.
Kelowna, BC
We always called Southern AB windy city
Cyber, that is most definitely God's country. My aunt and uncle life there. We love to visit.
moved here from Lethbridge 22 years ago, but it is also where I grew up.
I lived in Claresholm for a while and the screen door kept blowing off it's chain.
You certainly shouldn't open 2 car doors at the same time!
And as my ex husband used to say, don't pee into the wind!

yes, pi7 extends the pi 5
ty, another odd word
44 words left, tough grid

I saw that art work many years ago on my only trip to Europe
i didn't waste much time before i listed, only had about 50 found when i went running ot lickety ;)
wow! must have been quite something to see in person..
it was
good, dictionary is working again. i just had to refresh. i find i'm more likely to remember a word if i look it up ... i'm so old school, i should be writing them out 10 times each ;)
I look up words too. When I first started babble I had a note book where I put all the new words I learned. That book got filled up pretty quickly. It got lost in my move here
40 left, another break and then to lickety. see you later Kate
what a shame you lost it. see you friday peri hagd
closing time here soon, does anyone else need stats/hints ?
see you all friday :) *poof *
hi babblers
Hi, geek.
how is everyone today?
hi bzznbea
tough one today, looks like everyone's got their nose deep in it
Most likey, they are all done.
that too, it's a short one and i am late to the party
Time for me to bzz...pfft!
bye!
Fashionably late : )
hi molly
I am here. lovely day outside
it is peri, that's why i am late, took a long run
Nice here too Peri. Leaning towards hot at the moment, but getting ready to cool down.
good for you. I have been kind of lazy lately
I can walk for miles, but running has never been my thing. Too hard on the joints.
it didn't feel good, and i got a blood blister (darn cotton socks) but i am happy to be done
okay, oo4 is not in the dictionary, what does it mean?
The press are such idiots. Two major news sources reported a suspect had been arrested in connection with the Boston bombings, when in fact, no one has.
i just keep praying it's a white guy so it doesn't turn into a racist witch hunt
No clue about oo4. It's one of those made up Babble words.
Order Of The Sticks.
haha zoom
Well thats what google says anyway :-)
Hello babbleworld!
Ha ha Zoom : )
i suppose anything is possible, i just don't see d&d slang becoming official babble words
Hello, Jilly & all :-)
hi jilly!

Hello, Hego :-)
Hi Zooz

I like kist better. Hi Marc.
Thanks
I love how us babblers can read through typos..hello marc!
correkt, its great
Could I get a clue for ip7, please?
ip & Juliets lover with the last vwls reversed & vwl
morning all
Hi Lynn
ip+circle vowel+I want **re to **t
hi Hego
lynxxx there no 'r' or an 'm' that is connected
duh - sorry no R
So that should have been ........ip & Juliets lover R**** with the last vwls reversed & vwl
Jilly are sure the **re clue is correct?
I don't see how the 'm' connects
the very middle marc
sometimes you just got to type the word by the clue
its very tight anti-clockwise in the bottom right
I found the connection to the 'm' but it is only 6 letters
...and vwl
got it thanks sorry for being so dense
yw - nasty word
LOL...that many vowels would make anyone senseless...
but it's morning glories, which are not nasty
I am guessing that you ARE talking about flowers pipping
yes, that is what the ip7 means
Ok, 25 to go...must head out for now to get a few things done...bbl to finish
quite a different meaning over here
oh, right, lynx
but then what do you call the flowers?
bye Jilly
hagd jilly
Morning glories are pretty Pip. I just planted some in my garden.
I think the slang term referred to is um...morning "stiffness" for men. : D
grr, i hate when i can't find a 4 letter word, makes me feel dumb
te 6????
hi geek
what you make your morning beverage in if you don't drink coffee

aha! she found me! looks like we're playing tag with une now
:D
pip, have you ever been to rockwood music hall?
i have not, where is it?
okay, LES. sounds interesting
LES??
Lower East Side in NYC
Pardon me, I am abbreviation impaired. : D
it's all good, it's a new york thing
We had a little debate at work today about whether or not text speak and internet abbreviations and made up words (da for the) are ruining the English language.
da is annoying to me
and i've been known to use words like truedat and tryna, but da just seems lazy
I'm just one of those people who has never gotten into it all. I have such great love for words.
not any more than can't and don't etc instead of can not and will not it is language envolution.read David Copperfield sometime and it is amazing what the language once was and how it evolves in just a century or so
da is so slangy. like randy jackson made up no one really hip would use it slangy
it's da bomb
da shizzle
true dat
I find it kind of amusing when kids develop a phrase like it's da bomb and old farts start using it, trying to be hip. : P
except "the bomb" is seriously so old, like i knew people saying that in 1996, and most of those kids weren't even born yet. hahaha
hey dawg, who you callin an old fart?:P
i prefer my slang from the 70s, i like to say "right on" to 20 year-olds and watch them not really know what to do with it
It always makes me laugh when I read comments on the internet from people I know are old grannies and they say "you rock". : D
you got that right, pip. so i don't know about da being textspeak - only lose one letter, hardly worth it!
blame it on the tweeters or twitters or what ever with a cap of 400 letters, they get creative
Could I get a clue for te6/24, please?
starts with t, ends with t, full of t
hi all. back to do more. need clues for the 7s. have only one: the up. what are others plesae.
i'm little te6, short and stout
great clue pippingeek

what?.. what did I do?
crustafix!
hey, a savory pie is a thing of beauty. as is irish soda bread
oh..
af6?
oh, it's a terrible word!
I have no problem with savory pie, it's the lamb I can't handle.
lamb is yummy
This is what I have for 6's, af6, op6, ot6, pa6 x2, pe6, pi6, po6, ta6, te6, ti6, up6, and wa6. What am I missing?

He isn't too bad...my dog on the other hand...she sheds a lot
My kids have a cat that sheds everywhere. And they let it climb and sit places where cat's butts should not be.
LOL.. I find that really funny

I have been a bit behind on the news and last night I had the unfortunate sight of not adhering to the graphic image warning over on Huffington Post about the images
ugh...awful
Seen the images shown in real life really didn't need to ignore the warning

Hello all...back for my last 30

No no extremely funny is one a cat does it whilst licking their butt. The look on their faces are priceless

Lucius kitty has done it twice. It was so funny.
It was so cold last night that my non snuggle cat Pandora was in the bed under the covers with me

As she is a damaged critter she is not snuggly at all
