Thanks, rbud......wish we could get some larger grids....well, not too large. LOL
has been a long stretch of short ones, it's true. probably means we'll flip one night to find a 650 word one or something, haha! :P
You're probably right.
Heading for pillows now. Nite all.
nite, sleep well. :)
morning all... another tiny one? One of these days we will wake up to a 900+ grid, no doubt.
Hi Sprite :)
hiya Liz :)
If there's a 900 + grid, count me out!!
depends on the day... if I have time that day, I will do it. And enjoy it.
I really don't have the time for larger grids - 200 is about my maximum!
But these really small ones are becoming a bit too common!
I loved doing the 700+ one. But yes, it does take a lot of time.
It's funny because it's not as though I work but what with walks and the gym and other stuff, the day is soon filled!
I loved the 500 + one a couple of weeks ago.
Liz, those are way healthier things than sitting behind the 'puter :) I don't get out much, so I do have the time.
True - I never realised what an outdoors person I was until I moved here - don't like spending too much time at the computer.
But if you're stuck indoors for whatever reason, the large grids are fun.
on a good day, I go and walk the dog and spend some time in the garden. On a bad day, I am lucky to make it downstairs. And on those days I am grateful for my puter
yes, large grids have their own charm, that is for sure. And the really big ones make for great chat as well.
I can understand that - I hope that the good days come more frequently :)
Got to go - back soon :)
ok :)
Yes I usually enjoy the chat :)
:)
hiya sprite! only 3 to go here.
hiya rbud :) You gooo girrrrl! 22 left here.
oh! done now! that was fast. a couple of plurals and a past tense I'd missed.
yay rbud!
kind of a fun little grid, the earlier hints for the 6's were a big help.
ah good to know, will look them up if I get stuck.
we are nearly done with our conversion of our old bedroom to our new living room. Almost ready for paint, and then the baseboards and trim. Then carpet. I hope. (the old man's fretting about the money, but he'll get over it.)
oh wow! Sounds wonderful. You'll love it when you can sleep and... do other stuff there!
I have a pretty new front door where a window used to be - ready for a new porch out there, going to love that!
oh yes!
have found out it's expensive to relocate a gas line and meter, though, but it's too late to turn back now! :)
hehehe good... continue as planned.
fireflies too. Quick, but fun.
Hoping to be out there rocking in a nice rocker on my porch by the end of summer. Or fall. But first the new kitchen, yay!!
sounds like your home will be even more wonderful now, rbud!
I hope so. Trying to get it all set up for Hubs, he's not getting around so well. It may come to a wheelchair inside soon, so we are doing what we can to make sure we don't have to re-do anything later.
am sorry to hear that. But great that you can make the home wheelchair-proof now.
must be off... have a lovely day, rbud!
For now I plan to have some handrails put in here and there, it will help for a while.
Later, then, I'm off, too. :)
loved chatting with you!
likewise! (((hugs))) and poof!

<----!!FW!!....off to work, happy brief babbling all!
Morning friends
Hi kids.
Still here, Bob?
any clues needed before i go? grid was easy today so now it is a nice walk in the hills with my beloved, some good books, have some nice fresh pickerel fillets for dinner ..mmmm
scrabby!
Nice day for you and Elegant, Crossy!
I am off the rest of the week and my sister will meet me at Hemlock Lake for a day of paddling. But she is driving from Orillia, Ontario and must battle traffic around Toronto and then the international bridge.
ugh at driving over the border.is she taking tons of our money with her from rama??
I know she won $300 her first night. I don't know about last night.
stay away from the slot machine and play blackjack:)
She likes videopoker but does play blackjack. I went to a casino with her in the past but I don't get the desire to be a "gamer" and toss my hard-earned money away. She calls it entertainment. I call it stupidity.
lol,you know you are a lost cause when you you have finished the grid and still every once in a while you catch yourself looking for words that are no longer there:)
Silly boy!
as long as you treat it like spending money on lottery tickets,it is fine.make a budget, leave the plastic at home and plan on losing it all and just have fun and hit the buffet
She sets a limit and plays slowly and carefully. She likes the strategy. I remind her that the house is the net winner.
Clue for far right S?
the house always wins and they let just a few win to 'tease the geese"
Yep
a old job for a secratary she would use a st*** machine
TY!
np:)
but ,as i say,if you treat it like a night out at the movies or betting on the horses, just plan on losing what you take and if you make money consider it a bonus
we went once.the budget was 200 each.i left all my plastic at home and the car had a full tank of gas.we got the free buffet and in the last 5 minutes of our trip we broke even by winning it all back on one pull on a slot machine by the door
spent 4 hours there,so was fun
I think about the books or outdoor gear I could buy with that lost money.
lol,i am now to the poin that i have 30 books sitting waiting for me
i do not like going to the movies because my sciatica(sp) gets so bad i can hardly move sitting in those d**m chairs for 2 1/2 hours,i play 3 dollars on the lottery a week so what the heck
Me too. So many books to read and not enough time, especially because new books come out and get added to my list. ALAS!
if you are a king fan his new one is just out now.it is called Joyland.have yet to read any reviews
I haven't been to a movie theatre in many years--I hate the distractions of rude people. I wait for the DVD or stream it.
we also wait for dvd/stream now
I haven't read as much as usual in the last several months--trouble concentrating. Grief, I guess.
and the shining part deux should be close behind
i understand that, scrabby.been a tough year for losing loved ones here as well
we are still grinding though the procedural nonsense of the will and my beloveds mum passed plast sept and her brother in march
Yes, you have had many losses. It is such a change, such an adjustment. Still doesn't seem real.
her brother was a massive shock.he had a stroke then when they were running st scans etc on him they found stage 4 cancer that had metastisized like crazy, then he went home for a month or 2,had a second stroke and he was dead at 51.the cancer did not even have time to make itself felt
ct
lung cancer*
Any unexpected death is a shock, a stunner, so much more difficult to deal with. And with a young person it hurts even more.
yes.with her mum,we knew it was coming.on o2 last 2 years massive weight loss.lungs just failed the ciggarettes killed her basically
and smoking right till the end
And to witness someone suffer is brutal too. Aging, illness, suffering, death--nothing easy about any of it!
her da was 2 years earlier, same way.death by smoking
Good Morning, Everyone. (((Scrabbler))) (((Crossy))) My condolences to youboth
well, enough of me bleating at you.you have had a terrible loss as well
((nef))
Grief is challenging for all of us, is unavoidable for us, takes time, requires support, and sadly too many people deal with it in unhealthy ways--drugs, alcohol...
Hi Nef
It's important to take the time to grieve and celebrate your loved ones. I still grieve the loss of DH's Aunt Jean; but I also try to remember all of the good times too.
Time is the key word.
Scrabs, did you ever read and of Helen Kubler Ross? She was so good at explaining the grief process
(sorry. that should be "any of)
The only time inmy whole work life I didn't go to work when I should have was the night I went to hear her lecture (I'd copied my hours wrong so was sure I was off that night)
(I messed up my hours occasionally by going in to work on my nights off!)
I have read her stuff. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. CS Lewis wrote a wonderful book too.
Oh? What is the title?
"A Grief Observed."
Short essays and thoughts which so aptly describe grief.
Thanks. I'll add it to my reading list!
Well, I must get going. Enjoy the day!
bye, Scrabbs HAGD!
just read joyland reviews.basically king fans love it and the rest damn it with faint praise.so on my list it goes;))
I knew Lewis's wife before he married her--she came to Vermont, took me on a mushroom walk.
and the shining part deux is called Dr sleep and is due out very close behind this one
howdy,roundbarn:))
hi, Crossy and all.
all bored now.not used to finishing a grid in under an hour;(
I think I saw yesterday you said that you taught CS Lewis, RB?
you taught c.s.lewis?? wow! you age really well!!:)) hehe
(sorry, someone rang the doorbell. Roof inspection after the hail we had Friday)
Read my Vol 1, Crossy--I garentee it's not boring--will give you tidbits
No, I knew Joy Lewis, and had tea w/ c.s. once, I was in my early twenties.
anyways, may wander over and do some reading.anyone need clues before i head off?
my college writing prof wrote the first Lewis biog.
ok then.take care all and happy babbling!!..poink!
Bye crossy (they came back and said we were fine; no damage)
okay, sorry I'd read that wrong.
What kind of mushrooms were you looking for, RB? We used to hunt morels every spring here; but DH isn't able to go anymore
fw. Finished in under an hour. Now what to do the rest of the day?
Happy Babbling, Everyone!
I need help!:)
Never mind. I got it!
hi all! Getting tired of these tiny grids!
Hi suze! I think it's my fault. I have a very busy day and this is the only size i have time to do.
hi GE! Good to see you!
haven't seen you since the wedding. Pictures were beautiful! All good??
yes, we are doing well, today is Frank's last chemo treatment!
excellent! what's next?
well, he will get a scan in a few weeks which will tell us if the chemo did its job (so we are pretty anxious about that)
and I will be done working at the end of the month, so we plan to do a little traveling and relaxing
ok, well over half way, going to go do a bit of reading now. back later!
Good luck to Frank! and enjoy your day!

hey all
hey zoom
Hello, ((Stid))
how are you zoom?
Not too bad thanks for asking, Stid, How about you?
doing okay -- sore throat this morning which could be allergies or a virus so taking it easy.
Taught two days in a row in a 2nd grade classroom and LOVED it, but haven't heard back on the job I interviewed for last week so assuming I continue to be unemployed for the coming school year.
Sorry to hear that..could be hayfever maybe.
It could be, it was very warm and sunny the last couple days and a lot of things were blooming.
I am sure something will turn up soon for you.
It will be okay if it doesn't, actually. I feel as if having a job lined up before the new year would mean that I have to focus on teaching instead of focusing on getting the rest of my life back to normal. Hopefully they can begin demolition of the old house in another week or so, and then there will be a lot of things for me to do with the construction. I already bought a new hammer! :-)
LOL I actually tried "duud" as in, "Duud, you took my favorite surfboard."
OMG! i was just asking you how is it going on that front & you replyed before i could type it all down..lol...New hammer...ready to let off some steam ...good on you, Stid!
:-D (((zoom)))
zoom, I don't know if you like gardening, but I will share my excitement over my little cherry tree being LOADED with green fruit the last time I was at the house! For years it has barely managed to stay alive, and then last year it grew a bit and this year when it bloomed ... it was gorgeous. All three branches. (for a ten-year old tree that's somewhat pathetic)
How about the pets side of things..or are you going to give it more time?
you may be jumping the gun stid. . . these things go slow in my experience. . .did you see my suggestion about the picture?
I have a cherry tree too...got lots of bloom this year!
I am so very sad about my Lucky boy and the birds, zoom -- will probably have pets again, but in this little apartment, and before I have a fenced yard (if I'd had fenced yard to begin with, Lucky would still be alive)...
:-) YAY for cherries! I might even get enough for a small cherry pie if I can keep the crows off the tree.
(((Stid)))
Yes, jmc, I did see your suggestion. But I think Mother also has the artist's contact info somewhere. Still, when I go north this summer I will see what I can do.
thanks, zoom
It was such a lovely, bright picture of a madrona trunk and branch. the colors were exquisite, and it was a fairly low print number (100-something out of a run of 500).
thing is, the artist was also the owner/cook at this little restaurant where I KNEW I could get food that was safe to eat! They had such excellent pakoras...
"upness" is so a wurd! "Is Grant up yet? No, his upness level is still pretty low."
Common statement in our home, anyway... at least before noon! *grin*
S on the far right please? down to 13 and trying to avoid the list until NBT

hi all, another small one today!
Hello, all. Jeesh. It's like a Babble hunger strike.
<------- starved for a nice fat grid, which will probably come tomorrow when i don't have the time to spare... hi judi :)
Criminy. I hope there's a trail of bread crumbs that lead to the PB. It's the only salvation.
a trail of choclit chips would be better ;) hopefully TO will be along shortly to open the bar....
Clue for the fu6?
geez! that was a quickie.....
Yeah. Fu6 is my last word.
most enjoyable minus one of the double consonants
Ty. Firetwirps.
;) my last word was the en 6/21
I think I just broke my own speed record.
me too - 1:37 to 1:56 now what will i do???????
You will give me a clue for the in
Well, here's hoping for more verdant grass tomorrow. I'm off to putz around the office to try and look busy.
Hi All
bye judi :) hi hego :) clue coming
ty Kate. lol
a cozy pace to stay on holiday, pt
i like that hego... you WILL give me a clue for the in , lololol
OH! PT. ty Kate
Well you asked what you would do now. : )
it'll get you every time ;) enjoy cluing when my brain functions well enough not to mess it up... and pooh's favourite food is NOT a word
any clue is better than none and all efforts are appreciated.
:) standing at the ready. i have an hour before they close here
i could write a little story, or perhaps a poem...
I should be okay. ty Kate.
making coffee, bbs
I should think you would be exhausted after yesterday's clueing spree.
Enjoy Kate.
I found Fenrir hiding in the grid
hi Gremlin
hello
I've had "enuf" of small grids.
for sure!
must go. bye
bye hego :) hi gremlinn :)
off to sudoku for a bit...
anybody home?
I'm here Kate
What are the u stats pls
up 4,6
ty, got it PMS
sorry, hi bichon :) .. and PMS :)) wandered away to try to delete a zillion e-mails that had piled up
The floor in this B&B is uneven. Every time I get up, I tilt. It's a really old cottage
isn't there a nursery rhyme about a crooked old woman who lived in a crooked house with a crooked cat etc. ?? is that where you are?
is the weather still holding for you?
Exactly Kate. I think even the bed is tilted. Weather has stayed perfect. For three days before we came it was pouring
i had seen that in your posts bichon, pitied the ones on before you taht endured days of rain...what is a "knot garden"?
smiling as i picture you careening around the room as if on the deck of a ship ;)
It's small hedging, like boxwood, grown in mazes. There are plantings in the centing
Not far from the truth. The toilet seat won't stay up.
*center
hey all -- bichon, there is an old hotel in Hood River, Oregon, that is like that. I whacked my foot once when we stayed there because I lost my balance just standing!
sounds very quaint, charming even... i love old, draughty, and creaky places :)
hi stiddie :)
Very charming. I will miss going home and leaving this all behind
hi stid
I just think of Anne Hathaway serving us tea
"chipping camden?" what are they chipping? I live in an area with a lot of forestry, so I think about little left-over bit from falling trees...
I don't think it means that in olde English. I think it means market area
cotswold -- sounds like an austen or trollope novel location!
Austen, probably. Also Tolkien country. Think Shire
oh! LOL I am looking at a sat-map online now. It certainly has the lines of an ancient European settlement.
wold = woods on a hilltop
The people are so friendly. We stopped in a church this morning to have a look. Folks were just finishing a mid-week service. They offered us tea and biscuits and gave us a tour of the church
wow. it's an amazing little place. I think there must be a lot of amazing little places in Europe...
how nice! Mother and Dad had similar experiences the time they visited England.
This trip has been a dream come true
oooh. down to three, and they are all 4 and 5 letter words now...
so glad you have been able to go, bichon -- arts and crafts is my "style" -- or could easily be. I like simpler lines and real wood and such. But I don't think I would like the interior lighting if I were to be authentic. In a tour of the Greene house (a greene house?) in Pasadena, the guide said they were afraid a wattage of more than 15 would burn people's eyes!
two... :-)
I also really like extra ornamentation, the way the arts and crafts tapestries and windows look.
fw
woot! stid
of course the last two were things I thought I had entered ages ago!
stid, hint for the de 6, pls
de 6/36 discontinue to underwrite a project financially?
to take money away from, bichon!
take away the money
snap stid!
I have to head out, Tom is here and we are supposed to drop some things off in Tacoma (an hour away) and then be back in a meeting by 3... ARGH. *poof*
congratulations stiddie! hi saanichat :)
tyvm saan, Kate, stid
bye stiddie
Hi Kate and Hi Sid! AndAll!
later sstid
... i wandered away again... i have 999+ emails (mostly facebook spam) to go through ad get under control....
I'm off to finish my lat 10. See you at flip, I hope
i can stay to give stats/clues for about 30 minutes more if anyone needs them
bye saan :)
en 6/21, pleas

woohoo...done!....short one today...
congratulations pen :)
anyone need any last stats or hints, i have to leave soon
Hi TK i have oa4/7 whats the stats for the other O please?

On4/4
the fishies can be very elusive..
Hello, Sue :-)
hi sue :)
Hi Kate and zooz!
time for me to fly... last chance clues?
Sorry, my iPad doesn't always update the chat log, so if I seem to be out of sync that is why
Have a great Afternoon/Evening, TK :-)
Bye, Kate!
hopefully see you all tomorrow, friday for sure :) happy babbling!
I tried doing babble on my parents galaxy tablet...did not like it..not sure if the ipad would be similar or not.
It's better than my phone but that's the best I have to say for it
lol..i understand :-)
well people i have to work all day tomorrow so be prepared for a very big grid !! lol
But babble is almost impossible on my phone as the word list doesn't scroll
Hi ivesy, I have a busy day tomorrow too!
Hello, Ivesy..it is about time we had a massive grid :-)
hello, lol.. i know.. i will be trying to get it done between lunch break and bfor work. good thing i get up at early ungodly hours
Nothing too large...say about 900-1500 :-)
I don't miss getting up very early thats for sure.
oh yes thats a nice size.. i could call in ....
Lol!
Anyway, fireworks. Good thing I have a meeting tonight or I'd be bored :-)
Congrats, Sue!!
off time for me too.. cy all tomorrow.. good nite, good morning good afternoon.. and a peaceful day
Bye, ivesy!
Take care, Ivesy :-)
howdy again everyone:)) all done this grid but thought i would pop in to see whats shaking:)
I have the FU4/9 buttocks word..any clues for the other FU4/9..i have tried soo many different combos?
Hello, Crossy :-)
ahh fu 6/30
No i need the other FU 4/9.
a child would say after an exciting day "wow!,i had the fu**** day ever!"
sec..
there is a version of elmers last name and one when money is givven
I swear i entered the money one ages ago..how annoying is that..thanks, Crossy
Fireworks for me.
yaaa for zooz!
i was stunned this morning.too me just under an hour to do this grid
Two grid finishes in a row for you too!!
with a bit of help from my babble friends
We all need help at times chap.
Has the weather warmed up where you are yet, Crossy?
it is 15c and sunshine and a most beautiful day today with a light breeze blowing off georgian bay
That is nice to hear..we have been close to 22c today..and it is expected to be the same for the rest of the week!
good stuff:))
tonights din-dins is barrila spegattini cooked aldente with basil, oregano, fresh ground black pepper gound mediterranian sea salt and chili flakes for those who wish a bit of bite,a drizzle of extra virgin italian olive oil and topped with grated romano cheese and served with parmisain and onion baugette and a simple salad.glasses of ausse vino are available
anyone lurking in here need clues before i toddle off again for a bit?
ok.off for a bit then.happy babbling...poink!
the reason why FedEx and UPS do not merge is start with f at the bottom go up ne ne and left
hmmmmmmmmmmm
havin a little p trouble
Choices are po words, pr words, and one pu word.
yeah.
i can see that.
The pr words build on the ru words.
it's the LEFT p that is the troubling one
The po words are: po (small lake), po (cake of corn) and plural, the next po is fluffy and past tense and plural, the last po is the British dollar.
i have four of them, all PO.
fluffy, fluffy... that must be it
aha thanks
I need the last fu 6, 30 and the en word.
yw hurshy.
i am just getting down to the bottom F and i too am missing the en.
I'm going to use resources.
i guess en is a 6 also?
yeah.
fu6 - most entertaining?
en6 en + i am thirsty i need a ****k of water
tada
ttfn
Thank you hurshy. Fireworks.
Haven't finished a grid in quite awhile and I know it is only 60 words, still I am happy to see it to completion. And I finished my ironing for the week today also!
Does anyone want clues? For a change, I am on the giving side of cluing today.
de 6?
take away money
TY!
hi all
very few all here, peri! This is the closest i've ever got to fireworks, and so few to clue!
Last one is a4 from the bottom....
I can help with clues!
Hello to my fellow babblers! How is everybody doing today?
By the way, congratulations to all the finishers! Way to go!
TY Minver!
Got it! FW!
a+ in the end ***e
Yay!
Congratulations eieios on your fireworks display!Way to go
i can't get a pu. the one on the left.
pu 4/7 word is on the right and only pu word in grid today.
ok thats the one i mean
The pu4/7 pu plus the chemical element for darmstadtium
Or that pu 4/7 word is also pu plus Nintendo ** Roundbarn.
I've enjoyed your story and balloon minver--but a chemist I am not and my kids were too old for nintendo and the grandkids too young!
po + most of outer space ships abrreviated
got it RB?
i feel stupid. I have the 7 po's, it's the pu. I don't like to admit not getting it, but swallow my pride.
pu 4 sounds like elmer ***d
hi folks
hi welki
ru, how old is dylan?
he's 3 & 1/2
he'll be 4 in December
my guy will be seven this november - he's starting to go white around his muzzle, very distinguished
may I have a clue for the en 6,21 please?
(the other one, the border collie, hasn't changed a bit since we adopted him - and he's at least the same age)
aw
en + don't ****k and drive
en + most of what you can't lead a horse to
whew finally got it thanks ruru
thank you =)
hmmm - looking at him, it's not 'white,' but lighter than his coat
jilli has a picture of Dylan if you want to see him
where?
on a blog on Facebook I think
jillyjill?
I'm missing one out of the bottom f's
jillibus
Jillyjill bagged out on me :D
ohhhh, he's lovely!
he's a good looking dog for sure
big boy too.. although the picture doesn't show it
('course he looks a bit like baxter - even the rose nose :)
-- which first ticked me off, i wanted him to grow up with a black nose *lol* didn't we determine that somehow, they're related?
i'm not sure.. who is Baxter out of?
sheesh, i can remember mom, but not dad - hang on
mom = mygolden mirage dad = kalar's four paw drive familiar?
let me look them up
what's baxter's akc name
mygolden's "paws that refreshes'
Hi welki and ru :)
oh not akc - ckc
hey liz
5 left to find in yet another tiny grid.
here's dad: http://www.k9data.com/pedigree.as\np?ID=115141
here's mom: http://www.k9data.com/pedigree.as\np?ID=160133
dad is us/canada
got it
liz, it's been such a busy couple of weeks, i'm sort of liking the small grids (even though i'm partial to those over 300)
no.. they're not related.. but I know a lot of dogs in the mom's and dad's pedigree.
Fireworks - thought that'd take longer. couldn't see them last night!
you should have Baxter's eyes checked in looking at mom
darn, was hoping we were inlaws
yes, i know. breeder's been in touch
I know Baxters great Grandfather and Grandfather well
I competed against them
maybe that's what i remember :)
Hagen Daz was a very great dog
I also haven't had too much time - like grids 150 - 200. Resent spending too much time in front of the computer, when I could be outside!
The Justmoor dog was a beautiful dog too
Baxter's mom is a really pretty bitch
Enjoy your evenings - BBL
yes welki.. it can be serious.. mrs ru's dog has PU too
bye liz
she's got a great personality, too - met her and grandma
his great-grandfather was also a super dog Expo
nice pedigree ... you did good
why thank you, ru. we think we did good, too. don't know what we'd do if baxter were to die before murray (the border collie). murry is so attached to him, he freaks out if they're separated, even for a few hours
I saw Hagen Daz win the National.. he was a really great dog
7.. ? you have a long time..
hope he lives to 15 or 16
Dylan's father was Ashford's Saffron O'Reilly
wish the photo was in color - gorgeous boy
oh god.. O'Reilly was to die for
total goof ball too
I have a photo.. .hang on
remember that i'm not a golden savant, just a gal who's owned by a golden :)
btw. love jilli's great dane photos!
can't get to the photo
sorry
i'll try later
no worries
what's dylan's registered name?
(i am such a netnerd: here's the color pic: http://www.gaylans.com/o%27reilly\nstacked.jpg
if you refresh you can see o'reilly
and o'reilly doing the goofball thing: http://www.gaylans.com/o%27reil\nlywater.jpg
I am finished! I have fireworks! se 6/27 was my final word.
ohhh, i've seen him before in your icon :)
hi min
we're ooohing and aaaahing over our four legged friends
yes.. I loved him.. I had O'Reilly's brother too ... who was the love of my life
Ashford Monts Luisants
i remember. and then there was dylan :)
now there's dylan
Monty's father was the most famous Golden of all time
says Ashford Monts Luisants was born in 1994 - that can't be dylan
no that's my Monty.. he lived to 15
James :)
dylan's name is Saffron's huff and puff (the three little piggies litter)
monty looked just like James too
Monty became a Champion as a puppy
our breeder asked if we would consider letting her show baxter, but we said no
hmmm
he's show material for sure
and then, when he was a year old, we took care of the temptation permanently
I neutered Dylan too
Too many hormones
i'm glad we took her advice and waited until he was older - she was so right
he filled out perfectly
even if he is a bonehead :)
I would have waited tilll 18 months or two years
all goldens are boneheads
well he was was about 16 months old
that's better
than a year old
no matter. at the end of the day, he's just perfect
Dylan is far from Perfect.. but I love him all the same
perfect for us, ru - that's all that counts
yep
we should probably make an announcement that the golden portion of the program has now ended
yep.. we went on toooooooo long
feh. we don't do this often
we're looking at a heat wave this weekend
so now, I'm 2 from fireworks--both ne's. an ne 4 and ne 5, I have loch monster I have bird home and plural, I have what you catch fish in. clueson the other two?
like fish *** stockings with an extra consonant
*go boston*
just spoke with my aunt (in lakeport)
Hi there welki! Sorry for delayed response, I got distracted.
Welki, you wouldn't happen to live near Quebec, would you
no, i live in alberta (western canada)
roundbarn, ne4, profit after tax
ok got the first clue--a fo inal one ne4? Also, minver, didn't you fireworks during the golden portion? and lislin? congrats!
lakeport is pretty close to me actually
hi granny
hey welki
and cooee ruru
there is no profit after taxes :D
evening all! top row done :-)
lol, ruru....
hi dan
isn't the profit after taxes clue the same as what you catch fish in? There mi ust be another unless I don't get the taxes
ruru, had my review this morning. back into the splint for another 2 weeks. :(
add a consonant to the end of the 'what you catch fish in' thing
profit ne4 has double consonant
oh bummer granny
and work have to provide me with seated duties ONLY, or pay for me to stay at home.
My first fireworks, thank you all. The show is consideravly better than the Spider one,

my daughter is rastopopolas--I'm sure she's finished a no. of times. She rarely chats. Another daughter is Alembic--she said hi to me the other day.
rasto talks sometimes
may i have clues for the se 6,27 and the st 5,10, please?
st 5/10 is seen in a court room typing
se 6 is not put down
Rasto lives in Tahoe..
rasta comes in when there's a hard word she knows that's being asked about--she doesn't tell you she's milking goats
really?
thanks, ruru, got the st from your clue. afraid the se went over my head...
better, i'm sure, than what some babblers are doing while they chat
opposite of keep and not down
You know the grids are getting boring if Ru is singing Madonna. : O
LOLOLOL
ah! the penny dropped. fireworks! thanks!
good going, kitty
yes, but they're renting the house on the mountaintop and and have bought a small farm I guess you'd call it in the valley--you can see the mt top place from where they are. right now rasta is at my grandson's graduation in Cal.
*breaks out towel*
you're welcome kitty
Congratulations kittybat on your fireworks display!Hooray!
Coming tomorrow: Ru dances Gangnam style
sheesh - boston could have won
<-- would rather see him in a tutu. ruru in a tutu.
signing off, get some work done before bed. Thank you all for my first fireworks, i will email the family.
I don't get the gangnam thing
g'night, RB
bye RB.. congrats again

Seriously? You have never seen the Psy guy doing the Gangnam style dancing? You're so lucky.
