hi!
hi
-
evening all
hey all, how's this grid shaping up?
weird, so far. Small odd corner
hiya tho
cooee from me. please forgive any typos. am sitting in the dark. himself has finally fallen asleep. poor love has had a migraine and vomiting all day. :(
migraines are nasty. glad he's finally gotten to sleep
so am i, woof. he is a VERY loud vomiter.
lol nice
fortunately the sound doesn't turn my tummy any more.
also nice. I imagine sypathetic vomiting is also not fun
*giggle* i remember the first time a patient th5 up in front of me...we shared the bowl.
Ive never had anything like that, so far. I imagine that's best for me xD
oh, my, am watching a motoring show, they have a red mclaren on the road. when i die i wanna come back as a mclaren.
nope, changed my mind...i wanna be the latest ferrari
I think I would rather a vincent black lightning, myself
whatever it is, i have to be red...i look really great in red.
and both have a low-slung under-carriage///just like moi.
if I had to pick 4 wheels, I'd pick a 1935ish rolls
lol low slung? lol
<3
lol, is the emphasis on 'rolls' ?
lol no. Not like you meant low slung, anyway xD
at this point i would have expected ruru to interject.
I just really like how classy those looked. Solid, yet sleek with a touch of Capone. Ive always liked em lol
hehehe
I dont think he's on yet ^^
whew! then we're safe..
so you say... I didnt say the skinny dipping thing while he was on, the other night... and yet.
a yellow lamborghini .....this is an amazing show
rofl....yeah, well...what can i say???
I would enjoy lamborgini's a great deal more without the vaccumm. I just cant own a vehicle I cant tweak
mind you, all these cars are wo5 more than my house.
well sure. but thats a part of the fun ^^
woof, you ever driven a toyota corolla. the first time i did, i nearly ended up on the footpath, doing a left turn.
honestly, tho, even if I was bleeding money out my eyes I couldnt justify a car I cant get into ^^
corolla? Nope. But Ive driven toyotas and plenty of other smaller cars.
sorry, I wandered off -- I am grieved your dh has had a migraine that bad, GR. Mine are rarely that awful, but they are never fun.
yeah, i know. i wouldn't have probs getting in...getting out would be another story.
wb stid
stiddy, hello sweetheart
I really enjoyed my spitfire. That thing cornered on a dime
ohhh, a spitfire!!! *woof has gone up several points* you lucky person~~
which puts woof in the ionosphere
lol Ive known collectors of some sort all my life, but I bought a cpl to restore and resell myself. Was a part of how I paid for hs
My honest favorite is mostly sentimental, however, and not performance based.
wave hello to stiddy and sprite and ruru and ruby and dee and....and....you are in great company
I owned and lived in a 1967 ford LTD land yacht which will likely be my favorite for a long time
ty! That is *excellent* company!
hello all
omg, a ford gt...went to auction at $5 million....
hi everyone - back from bridge
hey m!
hi stid!
that car performed much much better than I ever would have suspected... but it was never close to the karmann ghia, spitefire or rx7
Hi jilli!
hullo m9 and jilli
Hi moon
hey m9, and apologies if i am annoying you with talk of cars. what can i say? i'm a petrol-head. but you alreadt knew that.lol
hellO, m9!
goodeve, jilli
are you saying you're gassy??
only after burritos
and low slung, if you look back in the chat ^^
hey jill -- I finally got those pics up of the empty space where my home used to be...
oh, funny -- that word at the top of the grid is used in duplicate bridge
where, stid?
on my website, jill
must have a look -- haven't been there in far too long, stid
several posts, I am afraid it's a redundant theme at the moment.
woot should be a word -- it's used here all the time
agreed. it really should
stiddy, have posted on your web site. xoxox
you have a website?
woof, what's said in chat, stays in chat....oh, yeah. we are in chat...lol
=D
I've seen evidence before granny that that ain't necessarily so.LOL
Good Evening "ALL" You Wonderful Babble People!!
hi pug
lo puglet
evening pugs
naughty stiddy...anything about you is NEVER redundant.
oh rose! thanks for commenting! ((hugs)) sometimes the writing seems to vanish into the ether.
hey puglet
m: my screen name . com
now there's a phant for this grid..."ether"
well that was just too easy!LOL
:-)
:-D
stid, I left you a comment too (((hugs)))
Thanks, Jill -- I will try to get a better scan of the house elevations once construction begins. Right now I am terrified that I am going to jinx myself. Turns out the insurance company has decided that we should have gone ahead and put another mobile home on, so they are going to stop paying for our extra living expenses at the end of this month. We will make it, but financially it is going to be a tight squeeze. *sigh*
They figure if we had just put a mobile home there again we would be moving in already...
It's all worth a big kitchen.. sigh... :-)
I hadnt realized they got to decide that. Wouldnt having a MH there get in the way of the surveys and such for rebuilding?
Oh screw that heartless insurance company. Stick to your guns even if it's tough just now!
twelve by seventeen, m...
You're planning to stay there for a long time so it's worth it.
Yummy
The policy we had said we get a year from the date of loss to have extra living expenses paid; but apparently what they meant was "to place only an identical structure" not anything else -- and they very optimistically thought that a mobile home could be put on site in three months. Originally it took six... and that was before the county, in its great wisdom, decided to redesignate our land as "wetland" (it's not) so we will need extra permitting.
*VERY BIG mama grumble*
we are experiencing an interesting confluence of negative effects this year... I think next year will be better.
thats all a bit rediculous. I know its a business and such, but an insurance policy needs to say those things expressly, in my xp, or they dont get to just assume it.
okie dokie. I am well past halfway. May I have a gentle nudge for the O in the fourth column please?
of course it will, stid -- it couldn't be worse!
Not us but those ot5 people
ot5/12 -- one an*****
It could be worse, and I know it. Tom and Matthew and Grant and my parents, and you and my friends are "okay" -- I just don't want it to get any worse...
and plural
Mine is an optimistic 10 X 11. Hardly any storage.LOL
bablet stid!!
no wait.. that was from the third
what jilli said
*sigh* I was THINKING that word, but totally NOT seeing how it could fit! *slaps self w. fish*
that's small, m -- our old one was about 12 x 12, but the silly closet-style "pantry" was inefficient and used up what could have been stellar counter space.
stid -- remember the Power of Positive Thinking -- no joke.
lol, beat you both...mine is a tiny 6 x 5, no oven, no grill, no cook top, no double-bowl sink, no pantry. and you ask me why i refuse to do any cooking?
wow rose!
woof, you were correct
This house won't have a huge amount of storage in the utility room, but the kitchen cabinets should allow for a good bit of storage. I don't think Tom has quite realized that in two or three years we won't need even half the storage... we'll be down to two rapidly aging people who don't eat all that much. LOL
that's a competition...? pfft. I have a 4x5 area with a counter and a microwave in nc =P
oh rose! how do you even EAT?
no stove, no oven... just a microwave and a dorm fridge lol
Mine is cut into by the way into the basement stairs, the door to the back porch.. and the chimney from downstairs running up through the corner..
Dorm's don't get to compete in this competition.LOL
that *isnt* a dorm
well, Jill's is a lovely kitchen. Galley style, but a nice open space in the middle, and just right for one or two people -- big enough that we can help cook when we are there, but I would be comfortable cooking there alone, too.
*giggle* it's up to himself to produce the meals. we have an electric horizontal grill, a slow-cooker, an electric frypan and a convection hotplate(one only)
I don't have a microwave, but then I don't want oen
The entire living area is 18 feet by 7 feet, and that kitchen nook is narrower to account for the "mud area" but the door.
gee whiz... moon and granny, you-all are really dealing with tough cooking conditions!
oh, and an electric steam cooker
With the heat lately, I've been cooking a lot on the back porch in the steamer! Heat up the outdoors rather than the house!
Yup rose, those steam cookers are great
Not ideal, yea... It would likely be a more difficult if I werent, just now, learning to cook, I wager.
Our little microwave that we used to have has a little drawer at the bottom that is a real oven -- for pizzas or small batches of cookies, or whatever. It has been very handy, given our resident stomachs/teens.
Wow moon, that's like living on a boat.
steamer? like a rice cooker?
considering how much i like to create in the kitchen....i hope my creativity doesn't atrophy before the kitchen is renovated.
I can do wicked awesum things on a campstove or outdoor fire tho ^^
or a ship container, moon?
No, my rice cooker is another thing
No, my rice cooker is another thing
It is. It's not large, at all. Bigger than MN, tho, which I havent lived in in a while. That was one 12 by 12 room over the booth. Most of that space was work area
:-) It is wonderful what can be cooked in the strangest spaces! My best "bannock" ever was on a burn pile in the front yard -- we had a lot of limbs that needed burning one year, so I made bannock and baked beans on top of the embers. The boys were really impressed (we never camp) because they didn't know I knew how to cook like that.
ive lived in those too, yea. I decked out a little 8x8 thing when last I was single that was actually really nice
one of these stid: http://tinyurl.com/k83hdb8
that's nifty, m!
well then you will get it when I say I can bake a chicken, potatos and bread, steam veggies all on one fire ^^
no, stiddy. this has a bowl lowest down for water, then 1(or as many as you want) plastic bowls, with perforated bottoms, and a lid. the steam drifts upwards coking vegs, fish whatever
They are great! put a frozen chicken breast in, throw some frozen green beans alongside, set it for 20 minutes.
oh dear, it's past midnight. I need to get myself to sleep. Was mesmerized by Bill Moyers on Charlie Rose. A very interesting interview.
I also "hard boil" my eggs in it!
oh, yeah, m9
:-) I miss these late-night chats.
You can put herbs on the little screen in the base and infuse the food that way
stiddy, rest and sleep well, dearest friend.
Our fave over a campfire is chili made with breakfast sausage instead of ground beef, and we always save a bit and the next morning scramble eggs up with it...
sleep sweet stid!
Night stiddy!
oh yeah, m9. makes the most amazing flavoured vegs. that way.
(((hugs))) thanks for being here, all, wish I could stay longer, but tomorrow dawns early... I will think about getting one of those steamers, m -- or at least something that will do the same thing on our stove when we have a stove again. ;-) have a wonderful rest of your week, all -- *scatters choclits* *poof*
I dont even know enuf about cooking to know what you're discussing. I figure I'll get there tho
We don't have a/c, so cooking outside on the porch with the steamer or crockpot (or both) is a great way to cook during the summer!
xoxox to a wonderful woman
necessity is the mother of invention, woof. you have so many wonderful things to discover
I thought you could do "wicked awesome" things with cooking!?!? LOL
On a coleman or a campfire, yup
So what is going over your head? not the "infuse" part?
But a thingy with a vent for herbs or smoking...? those are only if I put them there lol
Ah.. gotchya. My Dad was awesome with his 4 burner Coleman. SIgh.
My best friend growing up said she ate better camping summers with us than she ever did at home.
I know how to season things, for sure
but infusing may well be a bit fancier than Ive gotten even with what has basically been camp cooking ^^
Well I'm nbt, but don't have the 9 yet, and am 4 words from 1/2way
I never use the infuser in my steamer.
Its possible Ive done what youre describing, and just dont know the correct terminology
It just means you stick herbs there, and the steam goes through them and flavors whatever is in the steamer basket.
ah then yea. Not really something Ive done much of. Anything like a steamer basket is one more thing to pack/carry/make room for
I know all about stuffing things tho!
=D
Well this is an actual little plug-in appliance, the steamer basket is part of it. So yes, more to pack and carry
Stuffed asparagus is a specialty ^^
I'm an uncook, the daughter of an uncook :-(
th9, th5, to toss + abbreviation for road + Emergency Room
stuffed asparagus???? THey're awfully skinny to be stuffing??
Me too, honestly. But I find I really like food. So Ive had incentive to cook things I can put in my face. They're safer than uncooked things
lol, maybe you stuff them into something
yup! they are. But splitting and stuffing them with cheese is still worth doing before tossing em in the fire is pretty worth it
thanks, granny. that's a particularly odd 9 that I never woulda monkeyed....
aww. woof st5 my thunder...was gonna say...like your face
heyya freep

Hello. Interesting grid.
hi o-o
Hello, All.
hiya zooz :)
Sprite..Belated happy birthday to you.
thank you :)
over halfway, but already slowing down.
Only 64 here..but just made a fresh cup of tea :-)
Well thats my excuse anyway!
sounds good to me. Or coffee. Too lazy to go downstairs though ;)
Teehee...nice to have a relaxed day, Sprite.
too true :) Not doing much of anything today if I can help it.
Good for you ((Sprite)) especially now the hot weather is here!
lovely, isn't it? Sun and a tender breeze... am loving it.
Just hope it lasts till...say end of december would be nice..lol
lolol I wouldn't complain... we have waited too long. But even end of September would make me happy.
Ditto on that.
man, that is one dead bottom left corner :( Everything I try, especially biggies, die there.
Not got that far yet..on the S now..getting ready to move onto the T next...but thanks for the heads up.
71 left and only 2 7s in, my usual sad score on the biggies board, lol.
93 in & 4 7s so far.
see... much and much better. When I don't happen upon clues in chog, I usually end up with a couple of missing biggies. But I don't mind... it is fun anyway :)
Thats the beauty of babble..you do not have to rush...just come back later and find more..i also switch over to iron sodoku too..to give my eyes a chance to rest ..when i come back i normally find loads i missed..lol
sudoku is fun too and triggers another pa4 of the brain
The strange thing is..i find the expert grids easier than the medium or hard..lol
haven't played iron for quite a while, but remember the same thing. I found medium grids the hardest.
fireworks
Congrats, Joso!

Take care, Joso..have a good night.

oh, amazing crossy. when?
well,we expect to take delivery of the jeep in the first week or 2 of august(barring any unforseen issues) so will be a beautiful autumn trip of late auguast/early september

hi River
hi river
yay someone is here
I'm here too.
Trying to decide if labor has started.
babble is now waking up
your daughter?
hello all
Yes.
whooohooooo to a baby coming
are you with her now?
Yes, been here since Sunday.
congrats to your daughter, I hope everything goes smoothly!
She is miserable.
is this her first?
Yes.
being miserable is all part of it - I am sure you remember
I remember.
I need breakfast - bbl later -good luck to you and your daughter Bea
Thanks.
“A baby is God's opinion that life should go on. Never will a time come when the most marvelous recent invention is as marvelous as a newborn baby. The finest of our precision watches, the most super-colossal of our supercargo planes don't compare with a newborn baby in the number and ingenuity of coils and springs, in the flow and change of chemical solutions, in timing devises and interrelated parts that are irreplaceable.†~Carl Sandburg
I sat at my youngest's head in the hosp, graded papers--told the students in the margins how the labor was going. She delivered before I finished the set.
hi o-o, marvelous profile
and hi RB
Hello
hi to all. I mostly lurk and listen to all of you. Cars, babies, splints, migraines this morning--has crossy given his tidbit of the say yet? I can't wait all morning0 --gotta get to work
Good morning, ((Annie)), o-o, Roundbarn and Bzzz
hi mom
hi (((Mom))) now I owe you an email--will answer later

thanks RoundBarn, gave me 2
Bea, good luck to you and your daughter.
sorry. lotsa birdy words today--too bad that the one who h***s is only three letters. Maybe eg**** h***? I've never heard their voies that I know of. maybe they squawk.
I think they pipe!
or, in looking at them, they probably just stare other birds down
side view you can hardly see 'em.
Mom, are you still here?
Yes, Annie, I am
I think your sweetie's first name is in the grid
oh it is! I didn't notice
No, I am wrong...it doesnt take the R but it looks like his name...so it is!
Lots have asked about the pr 6/21 -- add a rock or other debris that enters the Earth
take the sh and then the 4 letters in the top row
Yes, that is how I found it
Earths atmosphere: m**e**
thanks o-o

Hi Owl :)

now I must scoot. See you all tomorrow
bye ((Mom))
well, annie, we are trying to get 4 together for labor day weekend in ri but it is just too hard
bye bye ((Annie))
we could define it ourselves as before a little hill
one who is not a good friend is one who keeps all her irons in the fire, if you know what i mean, and she bailed without telling us until we had a real prospect
yes, I remember...one backed out and one said too much $$$$, I hope you find another person
I know what you mean, Owl...
Cute definition Roundbarn. : )
the other is buying a home and truthfull, it just may not be the time to go, you know, but she is my friend's best friend.
hello molly
Owl, I hope you are able to go
airs
sorry wrong box better leave and get to work before the brain goes--
annie, i am such a mass of insecurities, i will decide they don't want me and i won't.
Hi TO. I remember the difficulties in trying to get several people in on a vacation rental. Eventually I quit doing it because it was too frustrating.
Owl, dont think like that--too stressful and silly. Of course they want you...very frustrating getting women together at times.
i just wish they had waited since there are two contingency plans in place. the fact that they didn't made me surprised they mentioned the plan and then told me i could ahsre if i wanted.
Owl, If you want to share go ahead. Don't fret about the rest of it. If they didnt want you, they wouldn't have told you.
well, the issue is, that i will have to drive alone i think so i can do whatever i want i guess. cannot fit three girls and gear in a car.
all because of one who is playing everyone till she got the best offer.
What the heck is the best offer? Four women sharing a house on the shore. Yes or no. You want to go, go and have a pleasant time. Ignore the selfish one. Am I rambling?
This reminds me of high school.
There's always one in the crowd.
no, she just asks everyone we think and then picks the best deal, like who she thinks is fun or the cheapest or nicest
annie: the singles thing late in life is EXACTLY like high school :)
Owl, do what you think is best for you and then whatever you do, enjoy. Less stressful.
thank you. need to go, dr appointment. happy babbling.
see you later, bye ((Owl))
Hello :) Can anyone clue the he7/32, please?
hi Bilt...one who comes into money
usually starts with an "in"
ty, Annie
youre welcome
Howdilly doo, neighbors!
Hi Judi
Hi Judi :)
darn, phone
Unfortunately, some people never outgrow their high school ways.
Ants have invaded my office.
Are they marching one by one?
They are marching everywhere!
They must be all done moving rubber tree plants.
They're teeny weeny. They may find a few crumbs in my keyboard. Not big enough to move much else.
they have invaded my kitchen. :( funny since i was away all weekend and not cooking
second th5/12 ?
nm
done.
my parents have been having issues with ants. They have cinnamon sticks by the windows, and ground cinnamon on the counter, because ants don't like it.
I guess everyone here is afraid of cinnamon too. See - it works!
ha!
I tried cinnamon. They just marched right over it. Cheeky little bastards!
hi all. clue for the 9?
Th9. Extension of th6/33.
ants: put baking soda. or put bleach on surface and leave wet. they wont go near it.
dont have th 6. sorry
Best to put out ant traps. Baking soda and junk just makes them relocated to elsewhere in the kitchen/house. Ant traps will eventually kill the whole colony.
i use a spray and they disappear totally. but if they are carpenter ants then you need a professional so they dont eat the house! they eat wood like termites. carpenter ants are large black ones.
judi, clue for the th 6 so i can get the 9 please.
Never have a problem with carp ants. We have plenty of tr4s, leaf litter & dead wood outside for them to munch on. We only seem to get the little punky ants inside.
judi need clue for the th 6 to get the 9 please
judi both my th 6's are plurals. please clue the 9 for me again with some more info. ty
TH6 pick up a stone and th*** it at the window and smashed it.
i have that. it is a 5 and the six is plural. i am confused
th past tense is a 5 also. and then i guess there is a 4 letter word. darn. dont see it yet
with the th6 which is the plural + fos*** lager the australian beer.
use that 5 + the end of a boat minus the last letter.
ty for th9, new word for me
ty got it. super clue.
super clues! ty
Glad you got it :-)
Yeah, the th9 was a newbie for me too. Archaic to say the least.
weird
I am in need of a Pa5/12 and a pa6/21. They both come after the pa4 (type of knife).
agreed
knife + vowel... a wrap at the beach
Just add the 4th vowel + plural
keep adding letters judi.
that wrap does not cover very much :)
ar6?
lol
Ty, kje. Fireworks!

congrats judi.
Earlobe i think.
Um, not quite, zooz.
would someone clue that weird th?

bbl
ot5 - not this one... the ot5 and plural
lol, ruru.
judi's "um, not quite" was the killer line
*runs to get copy of Grey's Anatomy for zooz*
I think i need it..lol
TV has ruined us all.
Is that 50 Shades of Grey's Anatomy?
Ha! I'm sure someone will publish that, Chessy!
Maybe in pop-up format. That would be fun.
We remember Meredith, and have forgotten Henry
pop up format would be easy to understand :D
AS much as I would love to continue this highly educational discussion, I must tidy up before lunch. See you kids tomorrow! *POOF*
<---not ruined by TV.. doesn't watch much TV
Hi folks. Could someone give me a hint for the th 6 that you make into a 9, pls
sure bichonster
LOL

I did
Over my heat ru.

add the end of lady gaga's little fans to th5
It is a 100% ludicrous word -- keep bashing and you'll get it
Take the th5,20 word, the last one, and add the ending ruru gave to bichon's name at 11:05

Odd suffix thing gang...or mob....mafia guys

hi molly! I like your icon :-)
Hi Sue, thanks.
it always amazes me when I list how many obvious words I have missed - I had all the variations on the owl sound except the original word itself, for example
ooh thanks, i didn't have the variations
I have four variations, hurshy, one of which is kind of silly
yep i got them all now.
by the way, hurshy, many of those endings (on the owl word) also exist with different first letters
yeah
i just have 21 left
22 here...
Hello all....*splash*
hi jill!
hey all
taking a short break. Feel as if I have accomplished a good bit today.
hi stid!
yay for stid's accomplishments!
Hello/later stiddy
:-D
fireworks!
hi/bye jilly *sad mama look*
hey sue! it's HOT here -- you?
hi stid, it's not super hot but it is really muggy and doesn't cool off at night
it's also been raining a lot so lots of bugs
suze!!
hi crossy!
ick to muggy. It's in the 80s here, which is unusual for this time of year (but getting more common). A little muggy, but not horrible by your standards
hey cross *grumps that I don't get a happy cross greeting*
howdy,stidmama!!!
yes, it's been in the middle to upper 80s here (which for us is not super hot)
*choclits for cross*
how's life in your neck of the woods cross? did you get the toronto rain too? Or was that farther from you?
we got the heavy rain, stidmama, but not the flooding that the city got
i am 2.5 hour drive north of toronto
so you're a ways away, but not so soggy. Glad you and yours are okay -- so sad about the flooding for the rest, though
Canada seems to have been having a really hard time with rain this year - first Calgary, now Toronto!
and was raining again today but our little community has amazing drainage
I wouldn't mind some extra rain this week, but none in the short or long forecasts, I fear. The early heat is melting our snowpack really fast.
t-storm tonight, rain tomorrow but sun on thursday here
sounds like a nice week, cross -- I used to like thunderstorms (when I was little)
Pleasant here, yesterday was off and on hot then thunderstorms. Several fires but they are hoping to put them out. Estimated over 150 lightening strikes yesterday.
hey again jilly
fires ≠good
*grin* I discovered a new symbol!!!!
15 years ago we had a breakout of cryptosporiddium (sp) and we had to totally redo our treatment plant and got a state of the art water filtration plant that filters down to 7 microns.thing has been paying for itself ever since
cool, stid!
as well as new sewafge system
I wish I could afford a whole-house filter when we build our place, but I think we will add that later -- whenever we have to redo the well. About ten years I expect.
wow, I go do some errands and 4 hours later the same bunch are still here
I dunno, I had a whole-hose filter in my old house and thought it was a waste of money
waste of cash till you and the whole family spend a month with dysentary lol
but then you have health issues I didn't have, so for you it might make sense; depends on how your local water source is too
Okay, nbt/nbs and all 7's done....off to figure out supper for menfolk....bbl
bye jill!
we even have a personal brita water filter drinking bottle for each of us
Our well water has a lot of iron and sulfur in it, sue -- it stains EVERYTHING. And since I won't use water softeners because of how close we are to the Salish Sea, I need to do something.
Ah, that makes sense then. We were on city water and it was fine, didn't need further processing, but my ex had a thing about water
Right now, in town that is, the water is chlorinated and I hate it, but at least my white clothes stay white!
bye again jilly
well, down to 50 now, and should get up and move around a bit. Not sure what is going on tomorrow... hoping to have a bed and a sofa by evening!
that way we do not fill the land fill with disposable water bottles
have a good afternoon, all! I'll be back later to try to finish. *poof*
tc stidmama
bye stid!
I agree, crossy, I have water bottles that I carry around but I don't buy bottled unless I am on a long drive (then I indulge, seems healthier than cola)
each filter for it will do 250 refills at a cost of 4 cents a refill http://tinyurl.com/ldc9bjr
I bought one of those for my son but he left it at the gym
and i buy the filters in 2 packs for 8 dollars
it goes everywhere with me
Yeah, it went with him too, it just didn't come home :-P
in a pinch i have filtered river water in the hills with it
yup.leave them laying around and they grow wings
ok, well, I am off for a while, may come back later to clue for a bit
ok,tc suze
he7?
One who gets money in a will
I always miss that one. Thanks, Molly.
So do I Bea. My brain demands the "in" first.
Any baby news?
No. She is in pre labor and is miserable.
Any talk of inducing labor?
Tomorrow.
It's not everyone's first choice, but after a while, it's the best thing.
She was only dialated to 1 this morning. it will be a long night.
She must be really frustrated.
She is. And she has never been good with pain.
Gotta go...
well, I had something different for dinner. I did not buy it. It was called Pad See Ew. it was thai rice noodles with vegetables and tofu in a nice sauce. it was not bad. except for the tofu which did not pick up the taste of the sauce. Not sure what the name means and I was hesitant to try it. It was bought at Trader Joes.
I'm not getting jazzed about anything with tofu in it or Ew in it's name. : D Glad you enjoyed it.
I don't mind tofu if it is deep fried and crispy
That's good because I've read that tofu is a good addition to a vegetarian diet.
I am eating way too much of Trader Joes dark chocolate coverd caramels. I think I am eating my 4th piece :( no more left
but too much soy is apparently not good for you, go figure
I guess I cannot have that kind of candy around me unless I want to gain a lot of weight.
which I don't
so the candy balances out the healthy dinner :)
Balance is good. : )
yes it is, but I am addicted to those candies, they are really, really good.
I will have to close my eyes when I walk down that aisle in the store
but I know they will still be there :)
I better start doing more exercise beside the classes and cut down on the candy since I apparently have no will power
I am drinking extra water and I did have blueberries for dessert, albeit with whipped cream on top
I'm sure you will be fine Peri. You are very weight conscious.
well, I have always been slim and want to stay that way.
help with first tr5/18 pls
hi Peri - scottish for trousers - no singular version

whooo hoooo WV!! hi everyone!
hello dawger - went out to a concert which got cut short by ythunderstorm
bummer, what kind of concert?
local group - free concert in the park once a month - group called Soup Camel
and what kind of music?
'my husband said that they are categorized as "Americana" - old fashioned jug band style music - late 50s / early 60s
oh, that sounds like fun foot tapping music!
it was good music = got about 45 minutes before they called ity off because of lightning in the area = but got home before the heavy rain hit
so7.28?
tadone!! finito!! whew
sounds like God didn't like them WV .. or at least Thor
hi ru
There you go, killing the chat again. : P
hi LBD.. congrats on finishing
hi molly
I know.. no one wants to talk to me anymore.. I think I'll just lurk like Dart and Pam now :D
maybe I'll be a disinterested observer from here on out
*smells breath*
haaaaaaaaaaa
Lurking is the new "cool thing to do" : D
disinterested lurkers? maybe they just don't have anything to contribute?
not going to touch that one
or...*Sparklies....* easily distracted <---that would be me.
If a disinterested observer participates in chat, doesn't that make the phrase an oxymoron?
well at least part of it :D
I don't know. It's like saying you hate Honey Boo Boo, but watching it every week.
okay..i'll roll with that. I tried to watch 5 minutes of Honey Boo Boo the other night.. and I couldn't stomach a minute of it.. it gives the south a bad name
Good evening all.
Well, you take a look at something, and make a decision about whether you like it or not. But constantly monitoring something you claim disinterest in? Something doesn't add up there.
Hi Peach
hi peach.
Storming here. Lightening close by.
what state does Boo Boo live in anyways?

Good for you. I'm spending my evenings trying to drag the dogs onto the patio, mind you, it is covered, but noooo, they do not want to get their feet wet. LOL
those aren't dogs.. those are princesses
it's just because of my degree in scatology Molly.. I can't help it
Indeed. It is my fault entirely. They are rescued dogs and I try to make their lives as enjoyable as possible.
Oh, I forgot about your PhD (Poop...His Degree)
yeah.. and there were times when I didn't give a crap about it either
Well, I must get the leashes ( I had a riding crop, but someone lifted it), not that I would use it on them....a fly swatter seems to help.
try cookies peach.. more positive reinforcement
congrats on finishing
Oh, honey, they get those as part of their meal.
Thanks for all the help. See y'all at the flip.
nothing like getting a dog in or out of the rain with a cookie
*Thinks Peach's dogs may eat better than I do*
*drooling* i had cereal for dinner
I'm craving brownies.. but not going to make them
I'm craving pizza, but I'm not going to order it.
make the brownie in a mug microwaved
just watch forks over knives and glad i'm eating mostly vegs anyway
though i do like my meats
hell, if i had a place that delivered i'd order both right now.
