We keep a record of her food intake so he sees what her diet is and he said to keep doing what we are doing

probably. He came to pick me up from group, but group took a little longer to finish. Usually I have to wait for at least half an hour for him and I don't mind, am happy for the ride. But he was early and so he had to wait and he was angry about it.

and I got angry too because I couldn't have prevented this... couldn't keep my phone on in sessions, couldn't step out because things were very intense (which is why we were late) and couldn't call him during sessions either.

yes I think we did. I have this coaching's training and it enables me to really listen. Which is what she needed... more than the "I think you are overreacting" approach of the therapist.
hmmm, therapist needs a life lesson, methinks.
I guess it is sometimes hard to see whether you need to prod a little or just listen. My feeling is that when someone has requested one-on-one counselling several times and is clamping shut because she isn't taken seriously, it is time to let go of the protocol and offer the 1-on-1, or at least make the way free to get it elsewhere.
*grin* reminds me of a twenty-something, who said to me ..i empathise with how you are feeling...i told her, you need another 10 ye4s, three kids, and a husband who has cheated on you...

ah but i took loads of zinc lozenges as i felt it coming on, so, mine is going to be shorter and less severe.
Good. I take zinc and echinacea at the first sign. And I take a higher dose of vitamin D all winter. 5000 IU/day
it is depressing though, today i have to go to work instead of just staying in bed

We have 'Guy fawkes' night here..and lots of loud banging fireworks keep making me jump out of my skin..will have this all night now :-(
zoom we have guy fawkes here as well as diwali with many loud bangs - like a war zone - poor animals. Awful picture on facebook of dog who picked up big banger which exploded in his mouth - poor thing had to be put down. SPCA used the pic to try and get people to take care of their animals with fireworks
That is aweful, Ursh, so sad..my parents had many dogs a while back and we had to sit with them and hug them to try and keep them calm.
my cats are also terrified - one under the table and one in the linen cupboard until it quietens. We have local rule which says no bangs after 10pm - very difficult to police

the scary thing is these fireworks are bl***y expensive and people complain all the time about a shortage of money for essentials but have no qualms spending big bucks on fireworks ??
Some people take apart a lot of the fireworks and make them into really big ones..the noise is like a bomb has gone off.

Took Bagheera to the vet this am and it turns out he was in a cat fight. The wound was a puncture wound.
so he/she is ok now
yeah, he is fine. So glad I had found him though. He pulls his hair out and it was 35 degrees overnight. I don't think that would have been good for him

yeah, it just isn't in the dictionary
hada, raro, serio, etc.
but it won't take chai or afro
this dictionary needs some updating...
