where we are now, mt gambier there are some magnificent sinkholes. they have been planted out as formal gardens. in one of them there are resident possums, who come running up to you, looking for food.

I made it through. Not with flying colours, no. Had 4 bites in total over the whole lunch. But picked up the pieces afterwards relatively well.

continuing, so I give flosey a ride, and find that the 2-3 blocks walking distance I expected was 10-15 blocks, very glad i offered her a lift. She was also very gracious about the condition of my car, told me it made her feel at home as hubby keeps his truck in the same condition. I am convinced she would have merrily walked home without another word if I hadn't offered the lift.

((lynx)) I had a recurrence of afib (uneven heart rhythm) and had to get to my cardiologist quickly on Wed. Medication is working. I felt it coming on for over a week but I had gotten to the point that I was short of breath just getting up and going into the kitchen and my heart was literally pounding. Good to go now, though! Had a heart attack last year so need to pay attention.

Yes, live and learn. I was on the verge of passing out several times, so called a taxi and got over there. He says I now need to be on medication the rest of my life...which I HATE! But better than having a stroke.

(actually, i always have IT problems at work, but i have an army of techs who, for some reason, always rescue me - they're a great bunch of folks)

the only person i know who has been stopped at the canadian border than i have was a convicted and then had his conviction overturned for draft evasion and he has to prove it to this day everytime. . .
