have had to buy a new CPAP machine today. when i was cleaning my old one this morning, i noticed it was making crackly sounds inside, whenever the power cord was moved.

me too. They also love apples, zooz. If you cut them in half, they will pick out the seeds and the flesh.
I like feeding the yellow finches but their seeds are so high here
Hehe yes indeed..although i just let some apples fall to the ground and they peck away at them untill they are all gone...no need to cut them up..that way the apple stays fresh each time they want a bit.

I put out cheap dog food or cat food (dry) and many birds likes that more then the seeds. Bluejays,sparrows and the woodpeckers and these little birds I call nutthachers(comes down the tree upside down) plus once in awhile a titmouse comes

The owls and hawks likes feeding on my chickens too if they can--lol
we had a raptor bird feed in our garden once, on the floor. Was really amazing to watch.
Not sure what bird it is here but i think it is a kestral..as that took a few baby sparrows last year..sad...but awesome to watch when you are sat in the garden...waiting for those pesky cats to arrive...and get surprised by a larger bird suddenly swooping in and snatching a baby bird from the trees in your garden.
Must look up and see what a raptor looks like.
and in the summer I love the hummingbirds alot

we get these blackbirds(about the size of a robin) they have a brown head and are called cow birds. They dont make their own nest but pushes out eggs from other birds and lays theirs in those nest for others to raise
We get red kitws over here...and they are massive withy their wing span.

I think the biggest I have seen aside from a zoo ostrich is a bald eagle a beauty in flight
On the creek we get blue herons and last summer I seen a eagle (first time ever) and then the geese and ducks

Just re living what happens to me when i get a cold...never had the flu yet..and don't want it either..lol
yea, flue used to be a 3 day thing for me, now it lasts 6-7 days

no I don't, hun. It is just that I don't have much energy to spare and when I fall ill, it takes my body a while to fight the intruders.
6-7 days is still good,Joso, if i get a cold now..it will take at least two weeks to fully recover to normal.
Nope no flu for me and i will be 50 in feb this year!
since I quit the nursing home I havent had the flu nor a cold(knock on wood)
for a true flu, about 2 weeks is normal. For the occasional bug, 3 - 7 days is normal.
