Another fantastic site for books is Alibris. They have many hard to find and out of print books and the prices are amazing. You can get many paperbacks for 99 cents. The textbook I got for my Sociology class was $124 at school book store but I got it, slightly used, for $8 at Alibris.

yes, i helped a friend get several of those windows 7 for dummies books that are regularly 40 dollars each for 6 dollars apiece inc tax. Just the covers had some small tears, but otherwise fine
