yes pugs, i am done, hun.
then congrats to you too
how areyou today, pugs?
99.9% better--lol and how are you
thanx, for once i was able to help the others...that doesn't happen a lot...lol
knee is great, have had only one strong pain tablet today.
oh wow, thats great! My ribs are a tad sore from yesterday but thats all my pain for today--lol
we areexpecting a huge thunder storm. if i disappear that's why.
helping makes a person feel nice
the same on Diz had? I think it was Diz
just take care and dont stand in front of the window
do you guys have tornados there
no diz is a long way away from me, closer to the 'top' of australia. they have cyclones up where she lives. we just get the gatdern-variety of thunder storms....lots of thunder and lightning, and lots of rain. usually not a lot of wind.
we didn't used to have them, pugs. but in recent years we have had baby ones, over in south australia.
The rain will be nice for you but that lighting can be dangerous, hope you dont get anything too bad
and we have willy-willies....like a baby tornado, but mainly dust or sand. not nice to be in one of those. the sand stings when it hits you.
oh I bet! And must really irritate the eyes too
do you guys have camels over there--lol
as a matter of fact....our desert camels are being exported to the arabs, to improve their breeding stock.
you got the single hump ones or the double hump ones
single i think
Are the camels getting over the hump?
I went on a trail ride once in one of our state parks and someone there was riding a camel and all the horses were freaked out about him
just a quickie, ruru...lol
Have you ever rode one Rose
according to wikipedia there are some double humped ones. pugs, they are feral, wandering through our deserts. the originals were from arabia, china etc. they aren't an indigenous animal.
no thanx, pugs. i like my food to stay where i put it...
how far are you from the desert
well it wouldnt be much different then being in a boat
hmmm, the nearest one to us would be ' little desert ', that's about 4-5 hours driving, mostly on highways.
Sounds like a drama.derry...to me
yeah, but a boat don't try to bite you either.
no, but it might throw you overboard
lolol
It could be a little stern
i bow to ruru's punning.
have you had the pleasure to ride a camel Ru
have you ridden one, pugs?
gosh - no ship of the desert pun??
Granny is always trying to check out the bilge too..
Hello everyone
no Rose, but I wouldnt mind
hey lyn
Hi lyn
Me? Camel no..but I have smoked a few
how can i ruru? i'm always looking to the star....board
ugh, ruru, the only cigarette with a picture of where it is made on the pack
like from the pack or roasted on a stick
thats all my dad ever smoked
Good morning everybody xx
hi Worzel
morning Wor
Hi lyn and pug xx
Morning Mum xx
morning worzel. how are you tonight/day?
got your email, thanx, mate
Not too bad xx A little apprehensive for my big on screen debut on Monday (cam up the bum lol) but other than that I'm good. how are you? xx
knee doing really well, love. have had only one strong pain tab so far today.
That's really good to hear. May I ask what is wrong with your knee? Nothing too bad I hope xx
How remiss of me. I just read on your bio u had knee replacement xx
dorr
oh bugger, sorry!!!
brb
worzel, i had my revision total knee replacement last december..
Reminds me of an interview I once saw with Sheila Florence (Lizzy Birdsworth, Cell Block H) about swearing in the show and the producers said "No bastard but you can say bugger" to which she replied "What would you rather be, a bastard or be buggered"? I laughed so much! Lovely woman!
Mum will your knee always be uncomfortable or is it something that will eventually stop hurting/being uncomfortable? x
yeah, she was tough cookie. she was very popular in the series, over here
worzel, it should stop soon. i hope to return to work 28th april. can't do that if i am still in pain. i am doing hydrotherapy, to build up my tolerance to standing, walking.
I also remember her from Mad Max with that big rifle in her old arms lol. She'd have still frightened me!!! I have seen some amazing Australian films in my time - one of my favourites being a film called Tim which I believe was Mel Gibson's first film role and also starred Billie Piper. Amazing film and acting
Mum I wish you and your knee a very speedy recovery, but I don't want you starting work until you are ready - you make sure you're fully recovered first! xx
am planning on it, love. learnt my lesson last time...lol
Billie Piper - too young - try Piper Laurie.
Yes, Lyn, you're quite right lmao! Billie Piper indeed!!! Hahaha! omg stupid me!!
Trouble with me piping!!!
well you got the piper bit tight
I've been watching Lewis on TV with Laurence Fox, looked up just to check he was a "Fox" - and found out he is married to Billie Piper
How many words today please
199 Gran
Thanks
Here's a tenuous link for you: Laurence Fox marries Billie Piper who, in Dr Who, was kidnapped by agents from Bad Wolf!!! So she went from a wolf to a Fox! (OK, don't everybody groan at once lol)
nice one
*groan*
didn't want to let you down, worzel...lol
Be back in a bit - must go pay a visit . . . and thanks for the VERY polite groan mum xxxx sys
later, love.
sounds of dinner. see you all tomorrow. been a long, busy day. enjoy the grid all.
bye Rose
hugs and bye Rose
bye mum enjoy xx
clues coming, another issue tonight.
Clues are up
thanks lickety
powerful message by Mr. Dyer
good morning all
Hello, sprite
hey o-o, glad to see you.
interesting profile text, o-o.
hello {{sprite and pugs}}
hey ruby *hug*
having a hard time with Mr. Personality this AM. What a PITA!
I have spent much time on the brain, reality, absolutes, subjective, objective, etc. Each of us has our own truths.
He says I shouldn't be harsh with the lawyers who've just asked me for another $1000+ for Feb. I told the lawyer I was sick of bleedingmoney and DH says that's too harsh.
yes and we view the world from those truths and judge it accordingly.
lawyers are extremely expensive, alas, ruby. I can see Burt's point. But I can also understand your feelings about paying so much.
And all that happened involving this bill is mailing me (not fedex) a box of docs and 3 -mails
it is so very frustrating, ruby. And I think it is hard to have Burt criticise you while he does not help with the whole situation that he created in the first place. Hard to have all the responsibility on your shoulders and then being criticised. *hugs*
Perhaps Burt's point of view would change if he paid the bills?
and,of course, he finishes the conversation by saying "I don't want to hear about it!" I think of you, Sprite, as I walk away, wanting to say "Talek to my hand, my head is ti***"
He doesn't know how to write a check
Can he sign his name?
yeah, probably, o-o. But Burt is too old and confused to be responsible for those things nowadays.
It is too late for him to tak this over, but at least he could be sympathetic to my point of view
hehehe good for you, ruby :) Yeah, and don't take it personally, darling. He is a patient nowadays... and you are a caretaker. Very hard on you.
The idea of "Talk to my hand (or ass)" always makes e smile. Thank you for that, Sprite
yvw :) Sometimes it is all we need to make us feel better.
I don't feel that bad, just annoyed with the lawyer and wishing I had somebody who could really help this messy situation
and whose advice I could truly trust
so true. You are very alone in this. And Burt isn't even a sounding board for you, which makes it worse. Am sorry I cannot be of more help to you.
I also think that the VERY expensive advice I got from the US lawyer and accountant was incorrect
oh that s*cks so bad. How about your son, could you talk things through with him?
he was totally swayed by what the US lawyer said which was opposite what the Fr one said. So he, too, is critical of me
although he is behaving pleasantly anyway; we just don't talk about it any more
a really tough position to be in. I'd say trust your own judgment, ruby. You have always been a shrewd business woman. I am pretty sure your view of things is sound.
ty for your vote of confidence. I sometimes wonder about the choices (or lack of them) I've made
it would really help if you could talk with somebody trustworthy and smart and within live meeting distance. Am sorry there isn't anyone like that in your village.
my Fr lawyer is about 1/2 hour away and he is pretty smart but I don't think he has international experience. Anyway, it's too late to change things as I've already made my decision to turn out the lights
what do you mean by turn out the lights?
I'll have to write that in a real letter; who knows about US monitoring....
ok, all good. Please do. You know I worry about you there.
I wouldn't harm myself, if that's what youo were thinking! Never never
oh, no I wasn't thinking that, I know you are a fighter. *hugs*
and when I lied on the grass with my Rufie and we cuddle up and take a nap (I use his flank as my pillow) all the bad stuff disappears for a while
lie*
awww that is so sweet
yesterday, I "decorated" him with violets from the "grass"
hehehe and he lets you, no doubt.
he sighs and goes to sleep
off to lunch to my Italian "son"
had such fun with Terra yesterday. He can be really fanatical when you give him a bone or treat. I brought him a piece of antler, the pet shop said dogs love them. Well, not Terra, lolol. He wasn't interested at all, looked at me and back at the antler and his whole body said: What the heck am I supposed to do with this???
and then my daughter said that Terra doesn't care about gnawing, he likes to tear stuff apart and figure out how to get to the inside part. And that is true, just never realised.
ok hun, have a good lunch and take care.
The truth of some people leave no room for any other.
I think maybe they need that truth so badly to be real, they cannot allow anyone to have another view of things.
People say that of me ... perhaps ...
There are no trustworthy people for some.
hm I don't think so. As far as I can see, you are always willing to research another truth. You are just not willing to accept it without challenge... which is pretty sound thinking.
trustworthy is as trustworthy does, maybe. In order to be trusted, we need to give a little trust too and sometimes that is very hard to do.
Well, people can represent themselves ...
sorry to be so dense, what do you mean by that?
ruby trusts none of the people she has hired
ah, I see, yes that is true. Ruby is a hands-on person and it is very hard for her to trust in advice that she doesn't fully understand.
Even her son.
her son has been very judgmental about this, alas
fireflies :) o-o, I wish you a blessed day and a peaceful evening. Thanks for your company! *hugs*
good morning everyone:) ((ruby))
back from so-so Italian (not very) lunch
wb (9ruby))
{{crossy??}}
half, but need middle-left s and bottom o
st6 and 7: la rue :-)
how are you, Mr. Crossy? Is it still so cold there? We have flowers starting all over the place When I walk Raffie there are primroses everywhere
bonjour une!!!
and even bisous
sounds lovely, ruby . . . I've been cutting lots of jonquils and sharing :-)
mine are just starting and I don't cut them or share....bad nel
actually today is a mild day. temps are to go all the way to plus 1 C before dropping off a tad to minus 8c overnight. spring is on its way!
this year's a real bumper crop . . . guess they enjoyed the VERY wet, cold winter :-)
crossy LOL
I can even see some dead brown grass from last year!
this is the only time of year when I have yellow flowers in the garden: jonquils, forsythia and primrose. The rest of the year, no yellow
lots of my spring flowers are white or cream . . . transplanted from my mom's yard 2 yrs ago . . .
Good morning all. It's a beautiful day here and my kitchen smells of fresh ground coffee, bacon and fried potatoes and onions. Nice way to start off a Saturday.
I'm somewhat OCD about the garde, only liking limited colors
yum, molly!!
mmm, bacon and fried taters...
Happy St. Patrick's Day (amost) Miss Molly
Both of your gardens sound beautiful.
Nothig wrong with starting the celebration a little bit early!
Ah thanks to you Ruby. We celebrate the day for about a week around here.
The garden and pups save my life
There must be a reason I married a Kelley (the first time) LOL
Hi all :)
I THINK I'm HONORARY iRISH
They are part of what saves your life Ruby. A bigger part is that spark of fortitude that lives within you.
But also Jewish - so happy Purim, Ruby!
XX mOLLY, THAT IS A NICE THING TO SAY
{{lizlin}}
and happy Purim to you, Lizlin. Would love sme hamentaschen!!!!
Sorry I've missed you recently and very sorry that everything's so tough right now - hugs to you.
Happy Purim Liz, hamantaschen for all!
Ran out of time to make my own this year so bought some - not as good as mine. But I have made a Purim challah - with raisins and glazed with honey, for tomorrow.
I am eating an apricot hamantaschen as we speak
Thanks Molly.
Ooooh yummy, Annie. Happy Purim to you too.
Molly, Happy St. Patricks Day!
I could probably make them using pre-packed French dough and prune jam but DH doesn't eat sweets and I would eat them all myself.
Happy Purim, Lizlin
(((ruby)))
That's not for 2 days though - but Happy St Patrick's Day, Molly and others :)
{{Annie}}
That was another reason why I didn't make my own, Ruby - we'd've scoffed the lot!
my family was so secular (they celebrated Easter!!) that I never knew about Purim until I grew up
Ruby, I'm looking forward to the Ruby . . . my next round of blooms . . . my mom's lavender Spanish bluebells, so sweet
It was always fun dressing up as a kid on Purim.
BRB . . . grabbing a coffee :-)
I gained a pound, but, hopefully, it's new muscle fro walking the crazy-head baby dog
I miss bright flowers here - we get lovely blossom in Spring but few bright flowers.
*looking forward to the Ruby? LOL
My garden is now very bright, mostly subdued coolors
Hi Une
looking forward to the Ruby?
not, not now*
I think it's great that people from all ways of life and faith have Spring celebrations.
I am learning how to make decent prints of the photos living in my computer
I agree Molly - so many celebrations through the year are paralleled in different faiths.
It all goes back to the pagans, I| think. Spring, fall, days getting longer, etc
Faith in the widest sense of the word.
Uh oh, I've just lost a word for the longest and shortest days. My mind might be going
pls, somebody give me the word.....!!!!
I've lost it too - solstice?
that's it, ty lizlin! I got it just as you typed it.
That's scary!
Phew!
I got it as I typed I'd lost it!
but you are much younger!
Not so much ...
*Proud to be Pagan*
Some of my bests friends.....
And why not?

I read something interesting about faith recently. "We're all trying to open the same door with different keys" ~ Max Strom
Nice!

Hi folks. Looking for the se6,18. Any clues?
the person who took possession
Oh! Thank you, lynxxx. I just couldn't see it. I'd tried all the other variations! How are you? Lovely sunny spring day here.
glad the winter is over for you...we are heading into a welcome Autumn, some nice drenching rain for a bit today
The winter is not exactly over here. Nice and in the 50's today, but back to winter for a few days
hi Bichon...I am sure your turn will come
Yes, and by June we'll be complaining about the heat
There's still considerable snow cover here
Hiyas, kiddos!

The African fly appears again!

took the 8 but can't get the 7...uh?
the 7 just takes off the last letter
Hello All
hi hego. not a bad grid today
with all these clues, it should be easy. :)
with all these s's it's easy peasy
bbl
s's are the bestest. lol
Bichon, you just made me laugh. We used to have a FedEx delivery guy at work, and we didn't know his name. But he always said Have a Bl7 Day so that is what we called him, Bl7 Day. : )
and now it is time for Crossy's tidbit of the day!!. I found this article very interesting and thought I would share: http://tinyurl.com/obrd4tg
Fascinating story crossy- and a fascinating idea. I wonder if I should forward it to somebody at City Hall.
ty for all the 8s. need the singleton o at the bottom for nbt.
Bichon...thanks for the ri7...it took me 7 times typing to get it to take...in beetween I made meatballs for a St Patrick'es dinner...not the ususal menu for that celebration. Happy Saturday everyone!
ear infection, mixi
St. Patrick's Day menu is open to interpretation...to an extent. I wouldn't go as far as making Cornish Pasties that some people mistakenly refer to as Irish Pasties, but I think you'll get by with meatballs. : D
And most people have corned beef and cabbage, which is not an Irish dish at all.
stats for first column middle s please?
st 6,18 and st 7,28 I believe
ty helensgirlkid

I monkeyed the mo7/8 ty Mary
Corned beef and cabbage is something that poor Irish immigrants would fix because it was all they could afford.
more help with the le8 pls
for the le7 extend the le4/4 sounds like one who le4/4 & pl
so is coulcanon sp?
le + all of not brother but the first letter, plural
Colcannon is a traditional Irish dish.
ty Molly and Mary
what is colcannon?
yes it is but isnt it also something the poorer folk ate or is it and everyday dish?
cabbage ham and potatoes
I would make it without the ham, it would not be authentic but it would taste good
yikes! I am out of gin and tonic! but I had enough for today. Cheers, Molls!!
its not traditional without the ham though i believe?
I don
don't eat ham
yeah...and it would be less expensive.. and cost a lot less cabbage
hey ruru
gm peri
i dont know why those three things are used together but i think potatoes or a staple there
I am missing a lot of 7's
Traditional colcannon has no meat in it.
well then I will be okay then. will look up a recipe. cabbage is on sale this weekend
i didnt know that Molly? is it just the cabbage and potatoes in it?
And butter, dear God, lots of butter. Champ is similar, only you use spring onions instead of cabbage. Both are very good and there are variations on both.
fw
Molly, I said Cheers to you at 10:57.
Champ, never heard of that
yes i knew about the butter part too:)
I don't normally eat butter
It's Slainte this weekend, all weekend and into Monday as well.
what are spring onions?
Green onions, scallions.
ah, that is what I thought it was
fresh smaller green onions peri less hot
well, everyone is Irish on St Patrick's day :)
in the spring usually sweeter too
ruru, one of these day I would love to come out to visit you
there in the grocery stores right now with spring garlic
must go make brownies for tomorrow. step one, go to store and buy package mix. poof
they are ...sorry
mxi has to go buy mix
yup.
she should buy 6 of them ;D
dont know what spring garlic is
why ruru?
Mixi "6" ?
oohhhh good point lol
that's my age (mental)
;-)
like the rest of us mixi)
well then you and molly have something in common
LOL
she's a six year old from somewhere :D
At last, proper use of the word "common" *Sniff*
had't realized that ruru
really?
she gets grief about it all the time
I think she's one damn smart six year old
I'd only put 2 and 2 together and hadn't got to molly and me.
you're still two short mixi :D
my only issue with Molly is that she pops way to much whiskey around here for a little kid :D
yeah, i know. but not too short.
does anyone know the stats for the two words for the 2nd s on the first column?
Old souls do that. : D
HA
I didn't start drinking until 13.. so you're ahead of me for sure
shame on you ruru lol
Thirteen was a big year for me in a lot of ways :D
st 6, 18 and st 7, 28
I was served alcohol in NJ PA CT and NY before I was legal age.
i had a sip of a fuzzy navel at about that age
what a funny name for a drink
but a really good one no idea how it got its name either
the same drink comes in a wine cooler as well
i have 99 words left:)
Lucky thirteen : D
im out poof
That's kind of how I felt about it at the time Molly
although I was in over my head
Most of us are at that age
And OH WOW, smacking forehead
Bravo, probably the best two puns of all time
hi, all - hint for the lone O?
ot6
ot + 3 letter slang for breast + last 2 of not bro
ear stuff
I think it is ot6 inflammation of the ear
oboobsis
damn
thank you all! :D
My clues are for the people who can count : P
(lol, ru!)
damn.. and I have my shoes off too
That 6th toe throws you every time
LOL
Oops, I better get on my "just like Ru, well behaved manner" thing or I will cause another diatribe.
Hey don't blame me.. I can't help myself :D
It's okay. When people don't get their own double standards it's kind of amusing. : D
I was just thinking something similar, I think - along the lines of "you mean we don't allow everyone in here the same amount of slack in their comments?"
clue for io5/14, please
slack, leeway, tolerance... etc.
(not meant as a clue for the io5, lol)
I have an io5 and 6, to do with the stuff they put on cuts, same two consonants used in the 5
or io5 = io + "oh no they ***n't!" as teens are prone to say these days
Along with everything else they say way too much : D
so true, sigh... and my son is almost 23 and still talks that way... if he calls me "dude" or "dawg" one more time, I swear... :P
I thought of switching to Sprint the first time I saw the Totes Magotes commercial.
I liked those commercials, sort of, at the start, they made me giggle, but enough is enough, now they're really wasting the talents of those two a bit, I feel, lol!
Yes, all commercials get old after they air them for the ten gabillionth time.
hello hello
Hello how is your cat hello
he spent the hello night hello hello we just let him outside hello? he was cuddlingw ith hello paco all night!
God love ya for flying The Flag in honor of The Day lad.
Gotta honor 1/4 of my heritage :P
lol, look at all the flags. starting off early, are we? remember, enough of that green beer, and you will get the trots:)
though I will have to ask soodles about the merits of a wee dram of green spot later on:)
No one in Ireland drinks green beer. That is a totally American thing.
In Ireland, they "drown the shamrock".
no one here in north America should drink that green beer either. stuff will kill you, all that food colouring
clue for top row single E word?
ri 7/36?
lol no one? come on.
ok, you can have one, cos
er 4/4 ;o;;
i mean er4/4 lil
heh
Guys let guys puke alone. Girls seem to have the need to "help" their girlfriends puke. If you have ever attended to someone who drank green beer all night, you will know why it is unwise.
thank you
I wondered what all those semi-colons meant
hi all!
thought you were winking
that does not apply to teh gayz molly :P
"drink and you drink among friends, puke, and you puke alone"
that reminds me, I have a very nice bit added to my profile for todays entry for those who wish to look
I shall be back later.
Gayz Cos? Have y'all usurped the Boyz 2 Men thing?
I read your profile, crossy, very nice!
Crossy, how have I not read Earth Abides? (Just looked it up from your profile.) My SF library numbers nearly 1,000 from Asimov, Bradbury, Clark, Heinlein to Ellison, Le Guin, Zelzany, and Wells. I am a surprised -- but delighted!!! to discover your recommendation! Have you read "The Sparrow"? One of my top 5 books ever.
I've read Earth Abides but it was a very long time ago, must read it again!
is that anything like the Dude abides?
probably not, ruru :-)
I asked for the wrong clue earlier ...i need io6/21, please
add the sea salt mineral to (british spelling)
oops, sorry, that was io6/18
oops again, it was io6/21 after all. Maybe I need more tea.
(I'm going to go hide now)
io6/21 is salt related
not to pepper the chat with clues however
no, uu ... don't hide. And if you enjoy SF, spirituality, and seeking, you would love t
I love SF - grew up reading it
"The Sparrow" too, by Mary Doria Russell. There is also a sequel "Children of God." Both are stunning science fiction books, and theology too.
I have tried every which way to get the British spelling of ion/21 and I can't find it.
the third letter is not an n, aeb (in fact it's the third letter that makes it io6/21 instead of io6/18)
i know it is a t but then i am lost!
no it is not a t
io 6 is to impregnate with iodine
The author's grasp of the human condition, our failings and triumphs, relationships, pure science, religion, the struggle for peace, ... gosh, I just don't have words. I rarely make recommendations this strongly. To me, it's up there with The Secret Life of Bees and James Blish's Cities in Flight.
well I tried all the iods I could find
change the next-to-last letter in the name of the element, aeb
io + a plate is also called a ***h + 2nd vowel
Thank you all
Good afternoon laddies and lassies
hi bichon
ri 7/36?
Wazzup here?
ch1212 You are absolutely right about "The Sparrow" and "Children of God" Two of my very favorite books.
really funny, macc
ri 7/36 means to cause laughter
thanks bich
yvw cos
Mklein -- thank you!! I don't meet many people who have read them. I have loaned my copies to several people, including two friends who are priests (both really enjoyed the honesty and perception of Jesuits.)
ty!
She is truly and exceptional writer.
Indeed.
Have you ever read "Left Hand of Darkness"by ursula le Guin? It's another about first contact between alien races.
It's not ringing a bell, and I've read most of Ursula's works. EXCELLENT ! In the sense that now I have TWO new SF books that sound terrific. Thanks!
Have to go to get ready to pick up Beloved from the airport. Thanks for the chat about books crossy and mklein and uu. BBL.
Safe trip. Maybe we can have more book talk another time
Definitely :)
Quick note: Mklein, my beloved husband is a librarian, and he is returning from the national conference.
I'm an exlib, and have a good friend who is also on his way home from Indianapolis.
That's why I mentioned it -- I saw your profile. Wonder if the two of them met?!! Okay, now I need to get going. bbl
orison
can't use the o twice rolin :D
no need to apologise... its not there in the grid...lol
could someone clue the ri 7/36 please..
howdy all :)
hi jes
sorry, ru, i haven't got that one yet

Hello nbt hello
hullo, molly
Hello Jes, I was joshing Cos because he didn't realize he had NBT : D
:-P
Hi cost, Molly, jes, hego
sorry, cosdem
It's okay Bich, he's pricey, he costs : )
He would like to travel in a group and be Costco
Im expensive. Very.
Yes, and we could go to him for our shopping needs
Quality people usually are Cos : D
Did everyone hear that Sam Adams Brewery is not participating in the Boston St. Pat's parade
good for them.
im off to play the sims for a bit then gotta go get cabbage and red taters
bbl
FW hagn
South Boston (Southie as the natives call it) is a hard place to support less than conservative values.
*Hopes Cos remembers to get virtual formula for his virtual Sims baby*
afternoon all!
Top of the afternoon, 2Bit. *Passes an early cold Harp*
any Smithwick's behind the bar?
Ah yes, a Smithy's for you boyo
(not looking a gift Harp in the mouth, please understand)
That's okay. I take care of any unwanted Harp myself.
for those who are not FB friends, I must share miss2bit's latest - this morning, in response to my insistence that she wash her hands after using the potty, she stomped up her assistive stool steps and said "Daddy, you're ruining my life"
thought I had a *few* years before I'd be hearing that
Oh my, way too early for that teenage angst.
luckily, at 3, she has the attention span of a fruit fly
That is a stroke of luck. And wow, they don't just pick up colds at day care. Because I'm willing to wager a 50 that she didn't learn that one in your house.
yes, unlikely
anyone here?
howdy again my friends:) back for the last 118 or so:)
hi crossy
how is jen this fine, frosty winter afternoon?
frosty? we are nice and 60s today, but snow returning tomorrow!
lol, we have had snow yesterday, snow today and minus 10c and most likely snow tomorrow
went all the way up to plus 1 and sun 2 days ago, just enough to flood the entire parking lot and now it is a sheet of solid ice:(
yikes!
On account of the weekend that's in it... have a look at this & enjoy, http://tinyurl.com/kdbpwov
ooohhh...look at all the green and growing things...
can you send me some Green Spot whiskey, soodles?
nice, soodle
Happily, Cross, If I had the faintest notion what green spot whiskey is......
too expensive here $60-$80 dollars for one of the younger versions of it
supposed to be some of your finest locale tipple
well, Tullamore dew will suffice. I like their adverts:)
It's a Dublin thing Soodle. And you not being a whiskey drinker, I'm not surprised you haven't heard of it.
whiskey over there has following based on what city you live in? I am impressed:)
chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, anyone?
lol, no ty, jen, what is left of my teeth vibrated at there mere thought of eating that
0
:0)
And, to cap a perfect weekend, Ireland bet France in the rugby, to make Ireland the champions in the 6 Nations. Am almost bursting with pride at our little country.
sorry about that
uh oh, jen spilled ice cream on her keyboard
lol
Way to go Irish Ruggers!
Molly, did you have a peep at the video I posted the link to...?
Which video? When?
4.33.....
Ah, Steve Winwood would be proud. What a great video, celebrating the BEST country.
Yup. A great video for sure. Selective.... but great. I concede, its not a bad little country I call home. :-)
That was just sent out in the annual St. Patrick's Day email fest to the clan.
Nice, soodle! I would love to visit Ireland some day...
hi sue!
hi jen!
With God as my witness Soodle, you are going to have a lot of "welcome flowers in the Spring" one of these days.
Molly, I absolutely love it that you are flying the Irish flag. And Hi (((Sue)))
Not just me, Cos and 2Bit are flying The Flag today. God love 'em.
BRING 'EM ON, Molly, BRING EM ON......
I'm sick and tired of saying this on Babble....I absolutely, 100% guarantee, a blooming fantastic experience here in Ireland. Money back guarantee.
It's not for want of the trip, I'm sure. It's for want of the cash to do it.
if I only had the money!
I was in Ireland this past summer and had the time of my life!!!
Although some people here travel like money is the least of their worries. *Wants to be that way someday*
wow, a 40 degree drop coming tonight!
Really, GMO? Where did you visit?
Jen, I swear to God, I'm going to get a machine gun and blast Winter out of here. It's stayed around WAY too long.
We did a tour of the west coast to Dublin
Such beautiful countryside and wonderful people
the pubs weren't so bad either!!!
Well, I am very very happy you enjoyed your trip!
Indeed we did...and will likely return in a few years
i agree molly, it has!
rumor has it that it will snow here sunday/monday. but I don't believe it.
hi all, back to finish
Aha! The pubs!! On my insomniac nights, I dream about a bus load of Babblers visiting Irish pubs. Sue, Frank, Molly, Ruby, Pugs, GrannyRose, - all the gang. It may never happen, but it sends me to sleep most nights.
Ooooh, and Peri....
hi peri
And Crossy...
Peri, do you still have snow, or is it gone now?
just a wee bit on some of the grass
Ah! Spring is in the air, then? Not before time.
it is 72 degrees here and hi is 42 tomorrow
71 here, 69 tomorrow
sorry, 32 tomorrow
9 re words left
I love unsolicited advice, NOT
I love unsolicited advice, NOT
I am not talking about babblers.
All our snow is melted. It's 61 degrees here today. My wee snowdrops look beautiful. AND I WANT IT TO STAY THAT WAY DAMMIT
dia duit
hi cos!
Well Peri, it's like this. Some people think they know it all and are obliged to blather about that in regards to you and anything you do.
Welll, dia duit tu fein, Cos! And fair play to you!
:)
Well I am know to give unasked for advice but then again I do know it all :-)
Cos, I'm well impressed with that.
I've been trying to learn a word in a different language each day.
Maith an buachaill!
I think the first word is good if I remember right
LOL. Its an absolute joy to me to look at the screen, and see nothing but Irish flags. I'm delighted.
oh my look at the time! brb ;-)
Soodle, settle a debate that occurred over a few (okay, more than a few) Harp last night. Full Irish Breakfast...baked beans or not?
Oh yes. Beans. for sure.
Hell yes, I knew it.
Part 2: Irish Pasties. Are they really "Irish" or just what some American's call Cornish Pasties?
Rashers, sausages, black and white pudding, fried tomatoes, potato cakes, beans, and toast. And tea. Lashings of tea.
Nope. Pasties are Cornish. Not Irish.
Ding! That is a bottle of Tullamore Dew for the Irish lass!
soodle did you see what I told Molly the other day about what this bakery is offering?
cant remember what exactly.. cabbage rye cupcake or something
Always happy to oblige, Molly!
No, I didn't Cos and I'm happy I didn't. It sounds hideous.
It's another blasphemous take on "Irish" invented by Americans. Like corned beef and cabbage.
whats next? corned beef frosting?
i was reading abbout that today
a lot of people say cabbage and corned beef is an american thing
But then, I always hated cabbage
It is Cos. It was made famous by Irish immigrants who could not afford lamb or salmon on St. Patrick's Day.
Why my ancestors roll in their graves: I don't like lamb, I loathe tea, and I have a very weak tolerance for Guinness.
'MURICA!
Filbert left earlier today and he just came back so we let him back in and now he's curled up on the couch sleeping.
I like herbal teas, chamomile and orange/cinnamon but straight up tea, blech.
I like chai and sleepytime tea and there was that tea JMC and seain gave me in DC. orange ginger or something like that
Food on St Patricks Day is the least of my worries. I get a 'Get Out Of Jail free' card for one day during lent. I intend to make the most of it....
Someday, I will have a long talk with you about why "giving things up for Lent" is not necessary.
I gave up giving up things for lent for Lent. (gotta love the english language)
oooh... my dvr has resurrection pilot set to record tonight. good. i programmed it wrong last week it recorded on hdabc which i dont have lol
Ad my favorite Irish priest says, 'Tis better to do positive things during Lent than to deprive one's self.
*As
my priest told us it could be mayeb reading one verse of the bible a day..doing something for someone once a day etc
I give up alcohol for November and I give up alcohol for Lent. Not for any Holy Joe reason. Just to prove to myself that it can be done.
Well good for you then Soodle. Holy Joe would be proud. : D
It's like fasting, only worse.
Did I mention through the week that I donated mu 50th pint of blood on Tuesday?
Good for you again. I am in awe of blood donors.
Apparently its quite unusual for a woman to donate 50 pints, having babies and stuff interferes wiith the donation process.
I received a blood transfusion when I was 19, so it's payb ack
Neither a borrower nor a lenter be.
Oh Kap, Ru would be so proud!
Notice that Ru and I are never here at the same time.
Not gone unnoticed, Kap
Gone but not forgotten.
Gone with the wind
Forgotten, not forgiven
That would be a fun scam if we were the same person. Almost as good as mourning a fictitious Korean youth.
can't possibly be ten MORE B words to find. Evening all!
Sssh, some people are still in denial about that. Also in denial about one person being two personalities here.
There really is one person who is two personalities, other than myself?
Its all getting political now, This scares me.I'm off to bed,
What?
and Dan arrives with yet another adorable icon pic! :-)
didn't mean anything, sorry.
Rats, I thought it was a new Miss 2Bit picture.
new to me :-)
Kap, no worries. She gets a little fragile when she's off her liquor allowance. *That is a joke*
Jacques Brel is alive and well and living in Paris.
Just saying.
:-D
I heard he was roommates with Jim Morrison.
I need to go help my daughter with something. A transfer essay for a new college...
Une, all pictures of Miss 2Bit are cute. I'm glad you didn't miss that one before it got updated.
i agree -- she's is soooo adorable! :-)
50 to go . . . back in a bit to finish :-)
good evening everyone
Evening, Crossy
reading back; Crossy has four personalities going in babble. Why restrict myself to just two? lol
Not much has happened in the last hour here, huh?
not that I can see
just got here, however
I've arrived
Ahhhhh.
Perhaps that is why it has all gone quiet - I killed the chat
No, I did.
Or that little fly...
now, what have I told you about releasing ts 6/18 flys into the chat kap?
flies
I didn't hear you because I have an ear infection.
lol
Sleeping sickness, eh?
No, an ear infection.
;) ;)
'ear all about it!
Call that Roman Ruler!
The one with the bad arch!
This chat is making as much sense as the grid
the abd arch.. thought that McDonalds
This was a major clue. Call the guy who has an arch!
Oh, Titus? Are you there?
titus.. the lock guy? lol
abd is all but dissertation.
it is also about typos
That was my granddaughter's first word, MacDonalds
may pop in in one of my undercover names, perhaps he can type better
But when I was writing my dissertation, it was a frequent typo. It scared me.
Has anyone here ever seriously relied on a Magic 8 Ball for a question.
That was a question.
I forgot to punctuate.
my kids first words were "honey, do it to me again in just that spot" .. seems we had the transmitter and the receiver in the wrong rooms.. no wonder we never heard a peep out of him till he was two..
I throw a fist full of dice into the air to make my decisions
LOL
Crossy, for shame!
sorry, stolen material
Funny. Who did you steal it from?
well, there are only seven original ideas anyways; everything else is just plagerism
cannot remember
What are the 7 original ideas, and do they correspond with the seven deadly sins?
I think they run parallel to them
even the ten commandments really needed a citation page:)
Are they the 7 wonders of the world?
no, do not think the old hanging gardens of babalon is an original idea
Who had it first?
the lighthose of Alexandria was cool, however
lighthouse
Light hose? Like nylons?
but I digress, where were we? ahh yes. Seven original ideas..
Alexandria wore beige stockings?
Who knew?
Fluorescent socks
i dadted a girl named Alexandria once..
dated
she just up and vanished one night
I don't want to offend anyone with this question, but did Asperger's syndrome originate with Cleopatra's asp?
have no idea. Does not offend me. have a nephew with it
She was said to have had a nice asp.
I did not actually say that.
mm, an asp you could crack eggs on
ru would be proud.
Asperger's is removed from the DSMV anyway, so everyone with the disorder has to find another dignosis.
I told you, Ru and I are NEVER here at the same time, and we BOTH pun, so you do the math.
have then not combined that and adhd and odd and everything else into one digagnistic lump now?
diagnosis. as in let me Diagones the case.
there are now just two diagnostic categories. Nuts and not nuts.
well, if you are ruru and i am joso and ruby is three others.. why there may only be a dozen or two actual babblers for this game!! the rest are just phantoms!
It's the DSM VI as written by Groucho Marx.
But we are the best in Fandom!
well, if 99 people out of a group of 100 are nuts, does not that make the one left the odd person out and not the rest? . Insanity is a matter of majority
Which is probably why you don't make sense, either of you
That's exactly right.
mm , we put jaxx to sleep
I think jaxx just wigged out on us.
yup
We make total sense.
I have no idea what hapened there. Computer madness
but of course
It's the flies again.
minus 10c here, no flies
In the 80's here...too hot for this time of year. Am afraid summer will come much too early... ((crossy))
It was 67F this afternoon. Flies galore and flying hamsters - bumble bees to you
((mimi))
Where are you, because this has been the longest freaking winter we have had in years.
Hi, Mimi. Hope you can save me from Babble madness these two have induced
I am exhausted---stupid neighbor had his TV up so loud that I could hear the infomercial and could tell you their 800 number! Started at 12:30 last night and didn't get resolved until 4:00. I get up at 5, so no sleep.
where am i? up above your head in the frozen wastelands of the Canadian north. Plan on making an igloo later
It's not madness, it was subtle cluing.
Sorry, jaxx....I'm more than a little "mad" myself!!
I am in UK
that is terrible mimi:(
I'm mad- you're mad...
so subtle I missed it!
But I'm not mad, said Alice.
If you weren't mad you wouldn't have come here.
Would gladly trade for a week, crossy! Nothing worse than an old, fat sweaty woman!
flies everywhere in the grid, teeny tiny African ones
I'm definitely not the chaperone type....love mischief!
Ear infection.
Who's an old fat sweaty woman?
ME! :((
i am not fat, i am just a little husky..woof
You don't seem it at all.
You seem like a thin blond Lindsay Lohan type.
No, that's me . I have a cold
So, after calling our Security twice and them calling the police once, finally got him to at least close his stupid door...then my cat had a seizure...and I had to work all day...sympathy, please.
No, I'm not fat...just too short for my weight.
Bless you, Kap!
BTW, I'm a redhead.
Dark auburn
My hair is bright pink.
red head eh?.. well, that explains everything:))
Do you sing also, jaxx?
if a fella has a choice, always grad a red head to take to the party
No, only in the bath
grab
This is getting libidinous.
careful, that is a waste of a ten dollar word
Grabbing asps and all that.
Does it now, crossy?!! I'm so Irish...red hair, blue eyes, Irish porcelain skin and some freckles. Had a guy once want to pinch me on St. Patrick's Day because I wasn't wearing green...I just said "Hey, LOOK AT ME--IT DOESN"T GET ANY MORE IRISH THAN THIS...I DON'T HAVE TO WEAR GREEN!
lol, i already knew, mimi:))
It's not in the grid. Isn't libidinous when you call in the lawyers?
firey lass, is she not?
libidinous...will have to search my memory...barely remember anymore...oh, how life has changed!
Only if you want a threesome, Kap......
well, i do not think anyone will be sued over having a nice asp
I am not at all Irish, but my grandmother whose original tongue was Yiddish spoke English with a bit of a brogue because of flirting with the cops near Delancey St.
Oh, you're a sweaty Di4y lady!
Damn near put me in the PB too.
At college, I took French from a Scottish woman living in the US...she was amazing and so much fun to listen to.
and anyway,s mimi is setting up threesomes over there
Hi all :)
My great great grandfather was Irish - a flax farmer in Co Cavan. He came to Liverpool during the potato famine
howdy,liz
No, crossy...that's Soodle of the gang bang persuasion...
Oh, Liz, you really don't want to be here.
(Liz)
No Irish in me and my family didn't speak yiddish - though grandparents did!
strap on your safety gear and dive in, liz
Yes, she does, Kap..Liz will fit right in! (Sorry, Liz...don't know if that's a compliment or an insult.)
Hi, Liz. The chat is insane
So Happy Purim and Happy St Patrick's day / weekend!
I live in Boston, which came here because of the potato famine.
Which safety gear, crossy, and where is it being strapped?
Compliment mimi - and I join you in the dark auburn - though can't claim it's natural!
Happy Purim and Pat! The only true drinking Jewish holiday!
insane?? Heck i get stranger thing floating in my morning bowl of breakfast cereal
Forgive me...cocktail hour came early today.
The best type of holiday!
I am probably salt and pepper underneath the dark dye.
Mine no longer is natural either, Liz---totally gray under here...but refuse to look that old!
I won't ask, Crossy
I have to go to bed. This week, by the way, I recommend acupuncture for all.
I think I'm probably that too but possibly more salt. Can't say I really want to find out!
crossy is going for the salt and pepper distinguished look
I will not ever want to look that old.
Sleep well, Kap.
gn Kap
I like distinguished :)
I went gray for awhile...you become invisible..especially to younger people.
That's because you're a guy and can do the Clooney thing.
hello hello
Hi Cos
indeed, liz, all the 25 year old young ladies in my class look upon me as a father figure. it is tough, but i endure it.
When your hair is pink, there is no way you can be ignored, which was the point
Both my grandmothers died their hair until the days they died...ages 74 and 86.
Swooning young ladies - very tough, Crossy :)
I know about the gray- I really believe I look at grey haired people as non-entities, unless they have the long dramatic silver type. which only works if you have good cheekbones. Or are Helen Mirren.
it is a curse.
Absolutely right, Kap...when men get older, they become distinguished...we become HAGS!
They dyed till they died- good one.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGG\nGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
My hubby has longish (not pony tail long) silver hair - it's lovely!
My Aunt gave up colouring her hair because she couldn't remember her original colour
There 'ya go...
Oh, and hi, cos!!
mm, did some one put a long url into chat?
That was my hag tag. You know, like for Twitter. It's really squawk.
oh, it was you , kap, with your long primal urge scream
After my divorce I had boy toys for awhile...not that much fun.
Boy toys? Who ARE you?
If 'ya don't have it in the brain dept., don't care where else you do!
toys never suffice. you talk about a record, or an 8 track tape, or a favorite song and you get a blank stare back in return
Goodnight all
gn jaxx
Sleep well Jaxx
Hey, it was in retribution for years of trophy wives!
I better get out while the going's good.
Night, jaxx.
Why are you going to sleep if you're in Australia?
I'm not!
i should make up another split personality but one that is aussie. i kind of like the whole time travel thing
OK! I have better go off now.
Again..oh, the stories I could tell...read the book (if I ever finish writing it).
If Ruru makes an appearance, don't blame me.
Mimi, you are a stitch...
once i am done my classes, i can be a ghost writer for you
I want a boy toy. My husband came back from DC in his traveling clothes.
I try, Kap.
*imagines Mimi with Justin Bieber*
Which means pants falling down.
*drag racing in Miami*
The relaxed look doesn't work for him.
((ruru))...oooooo...no! Not nearly manly enough!
GN.
Now, Bradley Cooper is another story entirely!
sorry..he's the only boy toy I know
GN Kaplan
And Ryan Gosling...and...gotta stop now...hormones acting up.
Oh, no...just found the mo5/12 and need to nip this in the bud...
lol!
Time for a martini refill...bye and hugs all around!
Hugs mimi - enjoy your evening :)

So good to see you here, Liz!
The eyes I can manage...the tail is another story altogether.
And good to see you too :)
Also time to go. Sunday morning clean-up. BBL for the final 18.
Pray that this neighbor doesn't play his TV loud tonight..or I'll have to do him bodily harm...so unlike m
me....poink!
Watching movie Grumpy Old Men in 20 minutes..love it.
Watching Redford in The Natural now...there go the hormones again!
revenge is swwt, mimi, once he quiets down at 5 am, turn your speakers to 11 and pull the knobs off
sweet
Have had an issue with him for 4 yrs...he's old and hard of hearing but mean as a snake...hard to be sympathetic. Can't do that back, crossy...too many other neighbors who would then be mad at me.
He has now replaced my ex-husband in my fantasy of how to kill and hide the body.......
i hated the sound from the built in speakers on my hadt smart tv, seemed to be all muffled base and you could not hear the speaking parts well, so i went out and bought a pair of 5:2 computer speakers for the audio jack on it and now i can shake the mortar loose from the brickwork around me:)
hdtv*
my in-laws used to have the sound at warp 9 all the time:(
Was supposed to meet ex's girlfriend at grandson's birthday party today, but had to work...she should be VERY grateful...this is the one who was seeing him BEFORE we split..yes, it's really his fault but he's the father of my children and I need to find a way to get along with him....but I didn't sign on for HER!
dad would be watching old episode of the price is right and mother in law would be out in the sunroom, wearing ear plugs and reading
nope, you did not
Oh, crossy, I broke down and got DirecTV...LOVING IT! Got a deal at $40/month.
still do rich for my blood. I am still buried in tons of stuff on Netflix yet to watch
and if i never, ever see another advert for honey boo-boo, i will die a happy man
Oh, yeah, I know...I spent 2 years doing just that. Still using it. Oh, I KNOW--who ARE these people and how did they become so DISGUSTING?!!
and that one where the parents are prostituting their children.. trying to remember..oh, toddlers and tiaras
and what language are they speaking?
Ooops...I'm supposed to be gone. Just hard tearing myself away from such fascinating company.
i do tend to dazzle:))
Dance Moms is awful, too....seems like too many of the wrong people are reproducing these days.
Yes, crossy, dear...you are indeed a dazzler! NOW I'm really GONE!
maybe STD's will wipe them all out of the gene pool
tc ((mimi))
Or they'll "drown" in it....!
intimidated by all the b's
what's a spoonie Julie?
A spoonie refers to people with an invisible illness. It is a reference to The Spoon Theory by Christine Miserandino.
oh.. I"ve never heard that one before
Invisible illness.. or just forked up?
Somedays it is VERY forked up! lol
somedays or some-tines?
Oof.

My daughter and I are giggling, so you win. :)

hi all. need clues for all the 8s. dont have any.
ty
they are all plural (I think)
le7/8: sounds like a man's name but with an extra vowel
mo7/8: sounds like a Frenchified version of someone who dresses conservatively
ri7/8: something that is very funny
st7/8: sounds like someone who takes long steps, but with a different last vowel
ty sue. not sure i get them but am thinking.
sorry for not great clues; the ri7/8 are the only ones that I would say are common
got the Le.
ri i have ri4 that mean very funny but there is no ous ending so not seeing it.
no, it's a different, less common word, uses the 3-point tile
confused. b in it? hmmm
yep, that's the one
need more clues. sorry
sweet dreams everyone, I'm off to my pillows and book.
night lbd!
i have ri with that B as a 5. not others.
not seeing it at all.
the b is part of the ending, like something that you can hear is audi---, this word ends the same way
ri6, more ri3 than the others
audious? i just dont get it.
it is not: ribiest, ribest, ribist, ribeis
darn.
or something that is ridiculous is laugha---
ri7, rhymes with not seen
invisible?
close mkg, but only 6 letters
that's it! Stick an r on the front (of the part that means seen) and you've got it.
i am clueless. not getting it at all. the B is at the end and therefore i dont get it.
I GOT IT. WOW. I CANT BELIEVE IT. TY TY TY
WOW.
yay mkg!
ok now for the mo and st. hmmm
fireworks!
2 different words, ri6, more ri3 then the rest, other word ri7 rhymes with not seen
yeah sue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok so mo is dressing conservative. again clueless and st i dont get at all.
congrats sue
does st 7/8 have a D in it?

ok any clues for the st 7/8? i need good clues cuz i am losing it.
st7, s + 3 + evil hobbit land mor***
dont know hobbit stuff. sorry
Hi all
hi liz
How are you Joso? Haven't seen you for ages?
any clues for the mo 7 8? i am so frustrated. cant get the st. or the mo.
s + 3 letter word for 3 + portal with trin vowels shrunk to 1 letter
mo 7 - a good Jewish lady is supposed to be "Tzenius". Think of the English but change the 2nd vowel and add a vowel at the end!
what are trin vowels?
bless you liz. got it immediately. ty.
st 7 - To take a large step is a st 6. A person who takes one would be a st 7 - again, change the final vowel!
And happy purim mkg
lizlin, good to have other members of the tribe on chat.
ty
I'm well liz, have shifted to a more normal schedule so missing the late night crew, and not babbleing as much ither
I'm also babbling slightly differently too. Life's busy at the moment, so spending less time chatting!
It's good to catch up though.
the st isnt working. i have the word st****. but not in grid. dont get the word.
good to see you too, life still wonderful in sunny oz?
Change the last vowel for the st 7
what is ending?????????
Life's still great here and very sunny.
the ending would be either / **
ending is not ether but **
Great minds!

Better than what I've been doing today: playing "Nurse" to both family and friend. DH has a sinus infection, and my friend (a fellow retired RN) has acute diverticulitis and she threw out her shoulder this evening too
that is a handful nef
working on the pics
yep. And Grandson had 2 more crowns put in yesterday too. :-( I spent 6 hrs. in the ER with my friend (she's single and lives alone -except for her 2 dogs) Thursday night, then yesterday had grandson and DH whining all day, 2 1/2 hrs. in Urgent Care with DH and chasing around the Cities looking for a 24 hr pharmacy. I was so tired last night I took some time off to go cheer on my dtr's boyfriend lose in his championship bout (roller derby); then drove the wrong way on a one way street going home afterwards.
Luckily, I wasn't caught by the police; but if they would have caught me; I was sober, just tired
where are you putting them up, jmc?
be 7/40
i will be making the best pic my icon
be + most of fast walk]
tada
darn, I have to be patient and wait til later for the picture in your profile to change
refresh my love
I did, jmc. twice. but there is no way I can refresh you profile
hey ladies, how goes?

Hit F5 Nef
51 words left... seems unlikely to happen
Heyas kids ..

:-(

who is who jm?\
I just recognize doren
Tor, thanks for the attempted help; F5 didn't work either (but I'm on a Mac; so not sure if that matters or not)
dunno if it'll work on a mac, but maybe try holding down shift when you hit reload?
Yep, jes, I did that too.
jmc could email the photo to you :D
I'm just a mess lately I guess; computer doesn't obey, cell phone caught a virus, and humans in my life are now sick too
not just you - i ended up both on-call this weekend (because the scheduled doctor is sick) and walking dogs/cleaning kennels (because the kennel assistant is sick)...was supposed to go to a play tonight, but that didn't happen.
tis the season for illness, it seems
at least my phone appears to be in working order :D
(((jes))) Shall we form a pity party? ;-) Actually, I should be happy that I'm over my cold so fast. Last week I pretty much slept through my cold; so I feel good about that
or we could be happy for small things - like coconut macaroons :)
Very true, jes. (wish I had some now!)
come over, I'll share :)
okay! :-)
wow, Lickety was super helpful today - down to 15 :D
