oh yes, my routine is after trying the words on my own, to then use lickety, and then after that going to a page with "with that start with.." then the fourth page I open is for definitions to hopefully learn the new word.. it all starts taking a loooong time

Paul, the Expert tool allows you to have one box to enter words (if one word) or chat (if several) and automatically enters words into Lickety's list for you. Having said that, it doesn't work on Mac.
Paul, the easiest site to use for finding words is morewords.com

I just fill in as many as I can, watch for clues and then give up

On the top tool bar click on options and then in the dropdown click on morewords and it will open on the right hand side. Then you can resize that window by moving the dotted line bar.

Babble works because it is laid back. if you really want a race, paul. If you prefer to play fast we have a group that plays the grid at the "flip" and they pride themselves on finishing as fast as possible with little or no clues.

paul the first year I played this game, i used to kill myself to finish every grid, every day. That eases for most over time. I have learned over the years that there are other qualities that babble is unique in possessing as far as word games go. I no longer have a mad obsession to finsih every grid;)
The major routes are closed around BUffalo, but I am fine down south here.

Oh, I had a total last year. It's painful.
I've always heard a full replacement is better nan is that not true
it is a quicker recovery than a full knee replacement because the kneecap isn't affected.
I have never heard of a partial. actually.
They make you walk immediately either way.
It depends on the problem, ruru -- in my case there was no cartilage loss on the outsides of my knees, but bone on bone on the insides

a bit of advice for anyone looking at knee, hip or shoulder replacement....google bregg cryo-cuff -- best investment ever. When it is applied in the recovery room and worn 24/7 for the first 2 weeks, it cuts healing time in half!

I had the cartilage repaired on the inside of 1 knee and removed in the other; this was back in the '90's, and I just remember long rehabs for both (& it hurt -- A LOT!)

I'm glad surgeries and pain meds have advanced over time...
can't take morphine -- tried hydromorphon this time, but it gave me the shakes, so got off it asap

I'm like you nan, I can't take much of anything. They gave me percocet capsules, and we took out half the med but I still fell off my crutches so I stick with extra str. Tylenol now (allergic to NSAIDS)
