busier than ever at work and not letting up soon... :-/
welcome pini
I can definitely relate... not that it's a bad thing. Makes the time pass quickly.
Sounds like you're probably too busy at work though huh?
true...but letting up would be nice very now and then
still recovering from my grand day here
Yeah... you get your breaks though, right?
For coffee and lunch?
no, academics get breaks; admin don't :-/
oh, those breaks...yeah, but they're never long enough of course!

Not seeing all those ETs
you'll find them Matty, sooner than it seems to suggest
matty. try starting with from here to et*****y
Aaah - Have the four nines now, and two of the 3 8s...still looking for the other 8 and the 10
Aaand, have the 10
plural the et clue
Quick once you start!
yes, they just roll off the fingertips don't they?
Hi Rose and Matty and hugs
matty, the ETs take a while to find ;)
{{hugs}} liz girl
Did you have a lovely day with your friend?
Oh, they took forever...until I saw them :)
seain, how are you? long time no see
g'night, Neil
Just a "small" chat??
yes, thanx liz. slept like a log last night, and so did don.
That's really good. You must feel so much better for the improved sleeping, as well as lack of pain.
Derring should be there. As in derring do
more like talk interspersed with coffee and lunch....lol
I tried that!
so agree matty
LOL, Rose. How often do you see this friend?
once a week, with phone calls in between.
Hey Matty - did you go to one of the restaurants Ru recommended?
That's great. Another of the things I miss.
oh, liz, ruru has your pic of the water falls as his icon.
No - we decided we didn't want to drive, as we've had so much of driving (LA is like that). We found a fab restaurant within walking distance from where we're staying though called Off Vine. I'd recommend it!
I only ever went to LA once - didn't like it very much - too sprawling.
Yes, i saw Rose - but he'd gone off-line by the time I saw the icon.
was it just the people sprawling, or did the dogs too?
I had a real giggle, when I saw the icon.
lol.The whole city!
I only got within 75 miles or so of LA once - off to the east - could see a huge lump of smog, and decided to avoid it, lol - went north of it and then up the coast.
I loved San Francisco, though.
nice. hope you didn't trip over anyone.
Stats for the very centre R please?
me too, Liz, spent a month there one summer. Beautiful. Loved walking all over.
re6/18
Me too - but I was in my early 20s then - it's probably changed a lot.
Thanks, Rose. Looking for it.
oh, me too! Travelled a lot when I was young and fancy free - not so much these days.
Found an re 8 in the process!
We still love to travel and do so whenever we can.
I try resit every time - you resit an exam if you fail. Why doesn't enable know this.
because you have it ass backwards liz :D
:)
Good to see that icon, Ru.
it's perfect isn't it
Made me laugh! It's really perfect.
Hubby thought I was mad when I took that pic!
it certainly gave me a giggle.
Til I explained.
I would have loved to hear that explanation
The first explanation was straightforward. It only became more perfect a couple of weeks ago!
When you go to NZ, I'll tell you where the falls are.
how's that?
fireworks and good night all!
What happened to you a couple of weeks ago?
good for you saan.
Sleep well Saani and congrats.
WTG SAANICHCAT!!!
oh.. lol
I forgot about that
So had I until this conversation started.
good morning all
{{hugs}} darling sprite
hello my dear friend *hugs* How was your day?
just loverly....* grin *
hehehe am glad :) Oh and don't worry about me. It is just the weather. I've been known to almost faint and throw up when thunderstorms are brewing. Or snow or storms. And the moment the thunder starts, it is all over.
oh, yes. you have said that before. how horrible to react that way!! you poor thing, sprite.
my grandma had it too and she lived to see 95, so I know I can grow old with it, lol. It is not a biggie, darling. It'll pass without lasting damage. Not many things you can say that about.
you are my hero, sprite. xoxox
aw shucks! Thanks sweetie. *hugs* as you are mine.
what's your verdict on today's grid?
de 5/14 ?
a squirrel ran past and took rose away...
sorry love. back now. today's grid?? i got within 17 of finishing before i listed.
wow nice!
don't have it yet, gran
gran, belief in God?
ah, thanks rose
*grin* that's my girl!!
:D
once i listed, i found more without consulting the 'enable' word list
Tim just got an A- for his oral examination English :)
wow!! wtg Tim. btw, has he decided what he is going to do?? work or study?
not yet. Will corner him one of this days and try and talk it over.
any more tantrums??
one. Which was a doozy to talk out with him, he was so agressive. But ever since he is behaving well again. And he even cleaned up his room a bit.
*faints*
lol indeed. When I opened his door and noticed, I gasped and said: omg Tim, your room has a floor!
col....i used to say to my kids, gee, your ceiling is so tidy!!
lol nice one
every now and again, i would despair. i would clean the floor of their room with a bin bag. everything on the floor went in the bag, and the whole lot went into the garbage bin.
I would do that too if my body would let me, grin
once i did josh's room, and he was so pleased. until simon came home and said, you had better check the garbage bin.
roflollll
nev* grin *er saw that kid so fast before or since.
hahahaha
ugh....never saw that kid move so fast....
or
either. And hi cameron
g'day cam
sprite, dinner ready in a few minutes. i will yell when.
ok darling. I am almost done. Enjoy your dinner and have a lovely night *hugs*
you rock sprite!!
*takes bow* Thanks darling! Glad someone thinks so, lol.
fireflies
WTG SPRITE!!! hope your day allows you to rest and be well. xoxox
it will. Not doing much of anything today. *hugs* again, my dear friend. See you tomorrow, I hope :)
and timer has just gone off. catch you tomorrow?xoxox
sorry about that, I have a cat helping me. Good morning all.
hi
g'day herin. xoxox
How goes it
herin, so much better. i went into st john of god hospital 10 days ago. for infusions over 12 hours. FM under control, but nerve pain in knee a female dog.
how are things for you, herin?
Rose you can ask me for help yiyu know
Good morning, everyone:)
i know, love. but you know how independent i am. if i get desperate, i promise, okay?
g'day crossy
You better. Foot has spoken
Hi Crossy
* giggle * and i hear the foot.
Any Easter plans?
No big plans here. just a nice Sunday dinner
yup. church tomorrow morning. church sunday morning, the lunch at milano's in brighton with my bros and their families.
We have a 4 day weekend so may go see what shape the hiking trails are in now
These days I think the handle on the church door would burn me if I tried to enter:)
I have to read A LOT. One of my friends helped me on an assignment and now I have relised whilst I value and agree with what he has said I have to redo the whole thing.
There are 13 re's, 3 ro's and 2 ry's, which makes 18 plus 3 ri's there seems to be one extra 'r' on the list. Could anyone tell me which is the extra 'r', please?
marc?? there are 21 r words in the grid
Found it there is no extra 'r', sorry
I am in the midst of working 10 days in a row so that my partners can enjoy time off with their families. I will be brain dead next week.
* giggle * marc. np's
Good morning everyone
Good morning.
Poor scrabby:(
Howdy, car
Hi sukee and Car
awww scrabs. {{hugs}} honey
g'day car and sukee
The weekend on-call is the worst--by Sunday I am losing it.
Could I get a clue for re8, please?
scrabs, your reward will be in heaven... * grin *
Two full extra days of work means a reward in the paycheck.
Scrabs doesn't sound fun
re8/50. to put in a new place again?
Scrabbler your a Saint
or... re + not stand + gerund end
you're sorry
I try to be patient and kind but I struggle a lot.
thanks got it
scrabs, just make sure nothing else is on your agenda for the 4 days. only way i know of surviving such a brutal time-table.
And now it is time for Crossy's tidbit of the day!!
Suppose I better go and redo this assignment. le sigh
The oldest business in the United States of America is the cymbal company Zildjian which was founded in Constantinople in 1623.
Fascinating!
good grief, crossy!! really??
poor herin. xoxox dear
Interesting.
I feel for you herin. I Just finished 2 years of papers, assignments, thesis papers, and a novel:)
I finished it and everything then a friend said it would look better as one table.
{{herin}}
Our oldest is the Hudson's Bay Comapany, I believe. Twas founded in 1670.
I was visiting a store in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario last year, admiring a wool coat made by the Hudson Bay Company, when the store employee came over and told me it cost $600! It was the classic HBC colors--cream/red/green, like the blankets.
Yes, those coats are expensive.
Do we have any Babblers in the Couer D'Alene, ID area?
Or Sponkane, WA?
Stidmama is in Olympia, WA. lbdawger is in Montana.
I don't know of any Babblers in Idaho.
As a child, I slept under a Hudson Bay blanket - red with a broad black stripe on either end...
OK
The coats and the blankets are its legacy. Sadly, the entire company is a shadow of its former self. It has been eaten alive by foreign competition.
ruby, my dear. please know i am thinking of you.
Granny...is Ruby OK?
Not that I support or agree with its practices in the first 200 years of operation;)
Did not know she was in the chog (((ruby)))
car, burt has surgery. the drugs etc have set of dementia. ruby has pleurisy which has been extremely painful.
car.: I spent on summer, long long ago, inCoulee dam and all the surrounding wheat country. Sll very special. Pullman and got to see CDoeur d'Alene, the Grand Coulee dam and the wheat fields around the area.
It was a wonderful summer, my first out of NY and VERY pregnant
There she is! Hello Ruby!
and there she is...my darling friend. xoxox
Hi Ruby
I have been there too...gorgeous! One of my dearest friends lost her dad yesterday. I am feeling that I need to be with her and the family and I am looking into flights.
Pregnant, it was the only time I was buoyant enough to swim, so went to the beach in Coeur d'Alene and swam in the Snake River.
Was hoping to get some insight into the hotels
good lord ruby... that is so funny.
hello Scrabbler, I think of you every time I see a photo of a rabbit
A pregnant woman swimming is a living, breathing submarine;))
Sad. My Dad died 3 years ago April 4th. It's still hard to grasp his absence and sudden death in front of me.
LOL!
I will have to avoid the SNAKE river!
Scrabs...has it been three years??!?!?!
I will be lifting you up, as always.
I used to walk upstream and float back down to our picnic spot
And Ruby, you are in my daily prayers as well.
Ruby, I am petting sweet little Remy right now. He sits on the arm rest of the sofa when I sit here. He demands constant attention.
Crossy! LOL
Funny, Crossy!
It is so nice to be in here and see you good people ((crossy))
I should get up earlier more often.. hi everyone!
I totally agree Ruby...don't know that I would make it through some days without this chog! {{group}}
Hi Aloy!
Hi Aloy. Welcome to the morning club. Well, it is morning on the US East coast.
It always cheers me greatly and today's flower report: daffs, dwarf tulips, hyacinth, forsythia and alyssum but the sky is gloomy and we might have snow tomorrow
hello Aloy!
g'day aloy
Yes, Ruby. It is great to come here and see friends, at any time of the day.
We have three light pink hyacinths in the house...oooooooh it smells so good!
here, it is post-lunch.
Stats for the M please?
and here it is nearlt nighty-night time
This is the only time of year that there are yellow flowers in the garden Oh yes, I forgot to mention the wild pale yellow primroses
me4/10 and me5/22
how great to be able to communicate across the globe!
I'll be right there granny...I could go back to sleep!
It is truly special!
Ty, got them both
*shuffles over* here car....
Bless you!
Bless you all!
xoxox car
My mother and others do not understand when I say I have friends all over the world, friends that I have never met in person.
My son sneers and thinks I'm crazy
And I say "Tant pis", it's their loss
tell your mom in is something like a pen pal but even better, Scrabbs.. remember pen pals?
My mother warns me about dangerous people on the internet. "You don't really know who they are. DOn't give them any information."
I remember pen pals but they tended to peter out
Yes, Aloy, that is a good analogy.
(Ruby is actually an inmate serving life t Walpole)
LOL ruby
wonderful to see you, Ruby -- and love getting your flower report! :-)
I had 2 pen pals in Germany in middle and high school. Doris Danner is the one name I recall.
I knew it, Ruby!
Good morning, Babblers - waking up to a chat about pen pals! nice!
Bon jour, Une.
I had one in Italy, don't remember her name
Buon giorno, mia amica, J!
hey scrabs, aloy, jbv, et al :-)
Ciao, Scrabbler!
hi Une and JBV
I have to get ready for work now. I want to stay here!
Ruby, I had a pen pal in Pau - she wrote me in French, I wrote back in English - we kept it going for about 3 years
Bon jour, une (3rd try), my computer is acting funny
hope you have the best day possible, Scrabbs!
g'day une
bye, Scrabbs, enjoy your day
poor scrabs. {{hugs}} dear
I had what might be called a pen pal for 14 yrs. He wrote in \\French, I responded in English. I met him when I was 20 and almost married him in '78
Would you call that a pen pa?
Aloy, the difficulty before holidays is that we must make children healthy and guarantee good health and non-contagiousness...impossible tasks!
wow, that's very romantic ruby
Bye kids.
bye scrabs. nice to see you
wow. now that is a relationship that bloomed!
ok Scrabbs, go to it! (( ))
we signed up for pen pals at the World's Fair in 1964 - I had 3 or 4 - one in Japan for about a year, but the French girl was really like a "friend"
Itt really was! We were both married when we met, but aw each other from time to time in Paris, London, Poitiers (where he was a prof) or in the south, where his parent had a vacation hous (humble, in a tiny village perchee)
awww ruby. and now i see, you really should have married him...
Bye Scrabs!
I was jealous my Italian pen pal could write in English, but I didn't know Italian
Pls excuse the typos, |I'm something of a wreck this AM
sounds like a movie script, ruby
start writing - you could make a million
agree, JBV
His mother got in the way. He had a lovely father and a cousin who was a nun. Everything was fine, except for sa mere
well, we'll change that in the movie and you will live happily ever after
Molly used to offer to help me write my memoirs, but now she doesn't "see" m when I come online
I think it's because I complain so much and so often
I know we have a Babbler who says she is writing her true life story - sounds rather intimidating to me
innies and outies.. enable doesn't like innies
do you think of who will read these true confessions - your children?
I see you just fine Naughty Nell and the book is still in the offing : D
I loved being singe between my two marriages. That could make another book or two
ruby, her loss. sweetie, i am always ready to listen. but you know that, right?
certain stories shall remain safely in the past
morning, Molly
{{molly}} I was afraid that I had offended you, somehow
EEEEEEK Cat is closely examining the bird....
Ruby, you couldn't be offensive if you tried
and there she is. g'day molly. thanx for supporting our ruby.
I took 40mg of Oxycodone this morning, so, although somewhat fuzzy-headed, at least nothing hruts
Please share with the rest of the chog....
wow!!!ruby!! glad you aren't in pain.
I can be very nasty, but not in the chog and also not very often
sharre the oxy?
noooo, not the oxy!!!
sure.....
Whee! 40 mg of that stuff would knock me flat on my ass for the whole day
<-- never selfish
* giggle * molly. would love to see that!!
Atta girl!
I am very resistant to pain meds, evidently the amounts I could take could knock down a horse
Atta girl! LOL!
When I had cancer and its subsequent surgeries, the nurses were always surprised at how much morphine they could give me without my falling asleep
when i had the triple arthrodesis of my ankle, i used to take 40mg of oxycodone twice/day with endone in between.
neigh!! ruby !!
<--small but tought!
Ruby, be sure to tell an anesthesiologist that if you ever have to have surgery
or even tough*
yup...tough as mutton....lolol
I never thought of that. When I had various surgeries with locals, they never worked and I could always feel everything
Probably because they are medicating by your weight and have no idea of your tolerance factor
I seem to have leveled off 4 lbs. lighter than when this miserable period started.
Oh my, if you get much lighter you will blow away in the next stiff breeze
ruby....you haven't answered, dear. how is burt doing?
Burt is healing amazingly well, now if only his head would clear up. Last night, an hour after he had had dinner, he asked what were our food plans for the day and when would I give him something to eat
Oh dear
One tie, in Binghamtonn, there wa a windy rainstorm and my umbrellas carried me alogt for a while
ugh, ruby. not good. poor you...it is hard to deal with, i know. when does his daughter arrive?
time* Binghamton* aloft*
His daughter is coming on the 20th, but only for 9 days.
Nine is good!
i hope those days pass quickly, dear
Hey, how come there are "rummies" but not "ginnies"?
I've learned through all this, that when friends/neighbors offer their help, they mean it and, if there's something they can do, I tell them
It's a win-win all around
Good for you!
mmm.... Oxy...
yes crossy...oxymoron??
lol
I could enjoy a ginnie right now but, along with my appetite, I've lost my taste for alcohol
I had never heard of Oxycontin until a few years ago when our local bone doctor had to open up up my ankle to remove some bone spurs. In 4 day I realized just how dangerous they were.
I can only take 1 or 2 of them.
the spurs or the oxy? Ride 'em cowboy!
And I am a large woman...so I can only imagine how tough our little Ruby is! :)
lol, naughty Ruby!
I never take more than one 40 in a day or even 2 20's but this AM was particularly bad.
i am down to 5mgs fast release, every 2nd day usually.
I sometime thing the Dr's would serve us better by issuing a bag of weed a month instead of those Oxy's:)
Ooooh...weeeeeeed.....
think
bbl, time to scoot.. nice chatting with you all! ciao
And Burt doesn't let me take naps; he either telephones me in the studio (which I can hear all over the house) or, if I'm nodding off next to hi when we're watching TV together, he says "Are you asleep?:
and now, my friends...it is definitely bed-time. xoxox to you all.
tc , aloy
Bye Aloy!
tc, Rose. have a good sleep
Sleep well Granny!
look both ways, alloy!
{{rosie}}
Give Burt 2 of your 40mg Oxys, and get a full night's sleep, Rose
good idea
I'm araid to gie him ttoo many painkillers or even something to make him sleep. He is too fragile
Sit him in front of the tv, and tell him that they are vitamins:)
:(
hahah
My f.i.l was like that in is latter years. Thin and delicate as a bird. A strong breeze would knock him over, and every time he had a fall he would either be black and blue all over or he would break a bone
You need to sleep
and now, at 88 but no 8's or 10, I will try to get a few z"s in front of the fire. April???
:woof*
Sleep well my dear!
Smart girl Ruby. Bad idea to give medication to someone that it was not prescribed for.

hello again
Howdy, MLF
hi cross. I think at some point I am going to install that malware bytes program
I love malwarebytes. it works very well.
Good idea MLF. Malwarebytes is recommended by all our IT guys.
the instructions seem eqsy enough to install and run it
yes, and it is very intuitive to use.
I would use it in conjunction with c Cleaner and the windows security that is already on our computer.
security essentials i believe they call it.
why would I need both cross?
Each program does different things
yes I had Microsoft security essentials virus program(free) but ;I got hacked anyway at that time
:(
Phantom: Retro
Well, try C Cleaner, malwarebytes and perhaps AVG free version, though AVG free is getting a tad dated.
but its free and ;I like it iotherwise so when I get the chance it is getting installed in this computer
You cannot complain about free;)
i am terrible but i don't want to pay for those kinds of things too expensive
You can effectively maintain a computer using only freeware quite easily.
I have been doing it for 15 years now;)
probably not as well as if i paid for some things but i don't care
i have gotten free virus programs for a while now but they are getting harder to find
You really have to do your research now.
i have n 5 ending in an O can anyone help with the other in 5 please?
cross sadly yes and i think someone here in Bable suggested i use it as i was having no luck finding something free
pl the first in4, MLF
Malwarebytes is an easy one to find fortunately:)
yes it is cross very common
as is c Cleaner
duh ty aloy
I remember mentioning Malwarebytes here when no one here had heard of it. Seems to have caught on.
i tried less then5 yrs ago to install c cleaner but it said it would give me a virus if i tried o install it
I was extolling its virtues long ago as well
C Cleaner will not give you a virus.
molly i don't know much about those types of programs so i wouldn't have known about it early on
it it did that i would never recommend it in here...
if
cross but when ;i wanted to instali it that's when it told said that, in fact i think it was c cleaner.com
Well, trust me. it does not give a computer a virus. i have installed it on a untold number of computers
www.piriform.com
cr 6/2?1?
what is piriform?
MLF, you can clean your C drive without C cleaner. Just run a disk cleanup from your disk properties. Just keep in mind it will wipe out all saved sites and passwords.
i have done disk cleanups before but bnot for a while now
clue for the cr 6/21 please?
and disk frags
i surrender. there are other ways, as Molly says. try them and see if it works better for you
cr6 is like what you press into your pants
i just want to install this program without hubby bugging me or watching me then i can get it done.hopefully
and piriform is the parent company that owns and distributes c cleaner;)
This isn't some sort of contest. Just suggesting things since MLF had questions.
ty molly
I know it is not a contest.
But if a person is that leery of any program it is time to move on
nop surrendering needed cross you have been my goto person
move on to what?
i offer good, virus free suggestions in here, but they are not the only solution to a particular problem of course
There are many ways to skin a cat;)
whatever is the fastest easiest free ways to do something i am all for it
Hi all.
Yup:)
hi bf

Well, all the students are bailing out early for the long weekend. I am out of here as well. tc all
cross true kunfortunately
u2 crossy.. hagd
It's hard to work on a computer with someone standing over your shoulder
very and I am nervous doing these kinds of things sometimes so him being around with even the potential to come in here is nerve racking to me. He really verbally got me when puter got hacked the last time I was on fb for a long period of time
back to the kitchen.. company arr. tomorrow.. (will get up early to babble) .. poof
Personally, I would be wary of Facebook. A lot of people think it's a safe site. I disagree.
safe site HA
mly I have to go but will be back
my hubby just laid down and I m on babble lol
As long as he doesn't offer to give it a bath as my dear husband does.

Its often enough I come on here moaning & groaning. Just to redress the balance, tonight I'm happy. All 3 of them are here, safe and sound, & tucked up in their own beds, hale and hearty. Seriously, what more could a mother wish for? Seasons greetings to all Babblers, whether Passover. Easter, or whatever.
Must be a slow night in Trim if those three are not out and about stirring it up.
Oh yeah, early pub closing on Holy Thursday.
Hi all.
evening all! right column done
hello dan
and sukee
Hello to my fellow babblers! How is everyone doing today?
By the way, congratulations to all the finishers! Way to go!
hiya Min! been a while
Hello dan2bit! How are you? Yes,it has been way too long!
I am well. Can't believe miss2bit will turn 5 next month.
Wow! They grow up so quickly! Will she go to Kindergarten this September? My nephew will be turning five this month.
Good evening, everyone:)
she will, though she is in preschool 5 mornings already this year
5!! Soon miss2bit will be in here playing Babble!
hello minver! long time no see!
she already sometimes watches me - she knows her letters and asks to see favorite avatar photos
:)
Hello harpjane! How are you? I miss being here & chatting!
You can tell her that Crossy's avatar is a First Nation artwork of a spirit wolf:)
she's long in bed tonight alas
I miss young children in the house... I have a 21 year old that eats all day and lays around like a slug.
Hello crosshair! How are you doing? Welcome to the chog.
it did not look like he was going to be gainfully employed anytime soon, so i tossed him back in school:)
Howdy min:)
just to remind you of infancy, I'm sure, crossy
No I miss all the question and the sense of wonder a child posseses. My "kid" just eats and grunts at the wife and I.
We get more feedback from a bag of potatoes:/
So now he gets to enjoy a few math classes to ease his boredom;)
I have not seen you in a while ,Min. I have missed you and your stories full of clues:)
I miss writing my stories. I teach an after school program. I don't get home until 6:30 or 7. I cook and eat dinner. I do lesson plans after that and then go to bed. No babble time
:(
What are you teaching?
I am on vacation this week, which is why I can be here now
yes, we are off for 4 days ourselves;)
I am teaching the history of Yonkers, NY to 6th graders. It is a lot of work and so not worth the extra money. Sucking the life out of me! Plus student are rude & disrespectful.
mmm... Well, only do it as long as your finances require you to do so, then dump it.
Life is too shore to be doing a job you hate:(
short
I tossed my dead-end job 2 years ago, went back to school, upgraded myself, and now new doors are being unlocked for me to explore:) My grad ceremonies are this June:))) Just got back the report card for my final course which was ENG4U:)
Additionally took ENG3C, ENG4C, EWC4U.. lol, would not know it by the way i type in here, eh?:)
Applying to a bunch of copy-writing, and copy-editing entry positions:)
I will just prattle on to fill the void. if anyone else needs the chog just tell me to zip it:)
Good for U crosshair! Good luck! I like my regular teaching job.I don't like doing after school program w/6th graders.
I would LOVE to copy edit for CNN online. I have not seen such copywriting disaster in one place in a long time!
How long is this after school program set to run for?
I have sent CNN an offer of my services twice now. Sadly, they have not responded as of yet. I do not think they share my joy at the way I tear apart their news articles for grammar and readability:)
It is a grant so they said until the money runs out.Could go until June. I have always done after school programs, but they are usually to get students prepared for state exams.
If U got a job w/CNN,would you move to the United States
O's Ordained! 5 left
go Min go!
No, I would not move. Everything i would need to do can be done online.
I just get the raw copy from the journalists, offer corrections for grammar and readability as needed, and send it back
Though a lot of it is time sensitive:(
D's Dislodged! 3 left
wait, so you're a Professional Grammar Nazi? Nice!
Keep going Min!!
lol dan!
I save it for the news hacks and leave everyone else be:)
I think best kind of job to have is one where you can work from your house. I'd love to not have to do commute I do.
excellent! Better than harassing friends and family - I learned that the hard way :-)
I am sooooooo a grammar nazi!It drives my husband crazy!
yes indeed, Dan. My beloved hates it when i dissect a paper she is working on for class;/

I am finished! I have fireworks! re 5/10 was my final word
yay Min! congrats
Copywriting is harder. often you are offered 2/10ths of 1 cent per word for a 500 word wonder:(
Yaaa for Min!!
Have not gotten FWs in such a long time! Are clues needed
No, ty, Min. I shall peck away for a bit longer yet;)

I am not a people person. I like just doing work. throw it at me and go away.
I can talk the talk when running a business or whatever, but i like leaving humanity on the other side of a locked door at the end of my day:)
hi folks
hey herin - nice to 'see' you here, it's been a while
Howdy, welki
I did this thing called DISC and it is to do with how you are personality wise with others. I got blue. Throw me the work and go away.
HI Welki
We have something similar to DISC, It is called the Smart Skills Program.
can I have a clue for the de5 that comes before the one that rhymes the US Secretary of State?
a belief in a god, dan
oh duh tx welki! I always have trouble with words that fold back on themselves. That's firewords!
Cross think Abby from NCIS. that is sort of me. Hand me the coffee, the work then walk away
Well, it is Grid-1, Crossy-0. I am off for the night. A good book is calling me. if you are a sci-fi fan, I highly recommend the novel Old Man's War by John Scalzi. I highly enjoy it so far;)
Night Crossie

Hi, popped in for the end of this one and got halfway thru. Missing one 9, so I'm just short of "mediocrity" (NBT, NBS, ≥ halfway, and all ≥ 7 letters: my personal stat goal)
ah, and there it is. Mediocrity attained!
