thus far, i have not had a cold since starting my flu vax many years ago.
I had mine last autumn and it got me through this winter ok. Some minor things but no fullblown flu.
Good that you got the shot. I had the shot some months ago but not for the newest strain. I will get that as soon as it is available here.
many years ago i had beijing flu. ended up in hospital, i was so sick. ever since, i have to have the vax.
I am in the high risk groups, so I get mine as well, don't even have to pay for it myself.
now, of course, i am that much older and have a history of cardiac issues so i qualify on that basis .
me hubby and a couple of our g/kids are going for the flu vac tomorrow

That glaucoma test is a pita! the testers are surly because they know that 99% of all those tested will do the test incorrectly the first time around. they need a better test. i failed my first one:(

If you are used to typing on the regular keyboard with the letters set up that way, the ergonomic keyboards are a learning curve most people don't want to take. I guess they work for two finger typists

The first time I sat down in front of an ergonomic keyboard, my fingers fell on the home keys with no difficulty. I always had trouble typing using all fingers. This keyboard allows me to use all fingers with ease.

Flosey, you need to refresh every time you leave Babble. It's some new quirk (among many) If you don't refresh when you leave, you will lose words from your word list
