Hope everyone is feeling relatively well today/tonite, we finally got rain in No. California!
was it good rain, kam? has it been able to soak into the ground properly?
It was enough. Mudslides, and too much runoff. Need slow, soft rain, not massive downpours right now, especially after the fires
But our plants are happier - only needed a little water yesterday, not deep soaking
ugh on the mudslides. i hope all are safe and there has been no loss of life.
I think all of the folk in So Cal that got stuck in the mudslides just had car damage, I heard everyone was ok. Major highways were closed for over a day though, I heard there was over a 20 mile backup of trucks. Glad I wasn't stuck in that mess!

I tried Al jazeera , but I find that they are too...careful, too cautious with their news reporting. You can pass along accurate news and still have your own internal voice or flavour in things if it is done properly.
When I watched that channel, I felt like I couldn't trust it. Like they were being spoonfed what they were allowed to report.

There is talk in the UK about getting rid of the BBC but I don't think the general public do. We may even be prepared to pay a bit more on the licence fee to keep it. Notice I did say a BIT more.

we get encore by it's self so my hubby can watch the western channel

So...instead of paying for Encore, maybe pay for Starz, watch Outlander, and get Encore for free?
