We have about 35cm of snow, and it's coming down heavy, and supposed to for the next roughly 18 hours. Gusty winds. It's a fluffy, wet snow. I live near Washington, DC.

Next I count how many 0/0 tiles and subtract that amount from 25, divide that number by 2. Which tonight is an odd number so I round up. I cannot list until I have that many grey tiles lol if I dont get them I cannot list.

If its a big one I cheat and list sometimes just to finish, but my goal is just to find as many as I can without it.

sure, i could do anything - but the only thing that seems to affect them is taking my sumatriptan.
i mean, i do definitely put on sunglasses in bright light, whether i have one or not, to prevent or not worsen them

I suppose when you have a cold and the nose is running. It is trying to flush out the bad bacteria maybe by taking antihistamines it is stopping the body from doing its job so prolonging the cold maybe?

I'm sorry for your loss MLF. My husband had colorectal cancer. He was diagnosed in July 2015 and died 4 months to the day from diagnoses. There were complications from the chemo and radiation treatments. I was not ready to let him go but could not bear watching him suffer. I miss him so much.

It is really hard to turn loose of the love of your life. The hardest was telling him I would be okay knowing I would fall apart when he left.

Yes, 18-30 inches is just a normal snowstorm for us.
:-) We've had probably more winters with nasty storms that these last 2 wimpy ones.
The difference is that Minnesota has always known how to deal with them (because we're used to it)

Just finishing up my last few.
Areas are only equipped to deal with snowfall that they are used to. Most of the areas getting hit with this storm are not equipped to deal with it. I don't know how people who get this kind of snow all the time drive in blizzard/white out conditions. Or how delivery trucks get things into the stores and gas stations.

I know, Molly. Here in MN we are used to bad winters; but it seems we aren't used to the wimpy ones. I feel bad that you guys are having such a tough time with this weather; but at least it Sounds like people are taking it seriously.

oh my. the area is so close, i forget the climate differences.
they were wrong about a lot of this one. one good error is that the snow is now light, helping the issue of wires and tree limbs. but it is going to rain and get warm mid week. it will flood.

It has been a HUGE blessing that the snow is light and not heavy and icy. A power outage in this kind of snow storm is very difficult to deal with.
