My hubby had the same, just keep your feet up as much as you can when you are sat or lying down.If you have a soft cushion or pillow put t your feet up on it in bed too or raise the bottom of your mattress, which you won't be able to do.

When I had the hysteroscopy to biopsy the patches, there was a young man in the room who I should think was a student. There was I with my feet in slotsand all hanging out and he stood there sweating copiously.
If not, as i say just put your legs up on pillows, it worked for hubby but when he worked they got bigger, and he was told to raise them up as much as possible

I went to one of the docs at my local GPs with bleeding just five weeks after the op. It took her all her time to stop sipping coffee mug. She said I was old and fat so I couldn't expect anything else.

The NHS isn't what it was. I cna't use diuretics as they adversely affect my kidneys and the function almost disappears.
Saying that i saw my gp years ago and i have no balance what so ever and he told me i needed to walk more!!....Just shows the gp's we have here!!

I will only now see 2 doctors and they are women but they are only there a couple of days a week as they go around different practices in the group of about 5 practices, so we always have the same shitty gp that likes to give you ibrufen for everything and he was the one to say i should walk more after being in a wheelchair!!He didn't know my history, because he never looked!!He told my friend she nowt wrong with her after she saw him numerous times and then she ended up having an emergency a(i think it's a.....where you can live without it but it can kill you if it bursts?...i can't think of the word) and then they also found out that she had Croehns disease aswell.

I find bad language up setting. I worked id a secondary school and when the students went past swearing I always startled and said oh, much to the the rest of the staff's amusement. I never did get used to it.
I was like it with my mam minus the swearing as i wouldn't dare! But we are best of friends now but it took until i was about 24/25. She'll be home every 5 weeks for 2 weeks and a couple of weekends in between but it's going to be difficult, i'm going to have to get help in, when hubby isn't home

<I think the ground is too uneven to use a Walker and then there are the stairs! The house i oin a hillside, so it's on 3 leveels.

The wheelchair would be better outside if you have some one to push you as the ground is uneven. I can't get into my back garden without someone pushing me.

We live on a hill too.I have to go up and down the stairs on my bum as our stairs aren't wide enough for a stair lift and we don't have enough room for a chair lift. plus they are epensive
