I could not load the grid last night and only discovered the 42,000 grid from yesterday about 10 minutes ago
Maybe Rain needs a couple of As
and then I get this???
no s for our Babbler eieios ;)
aspirin - fer sure jwr
Oh, too bad, Rainqui. Is it a computer problem?
Offred is in the grid - only now she's free! At least so far in Australia!
Doing yesterday's without Lickety wasn't easy - I ended up with a missing re that I had marked off, hursh figured out which one right off the bat, too!
no it wasn't: did anyone else have problems last night?
The site was down last night
That was the night before Kam.
andre is here ;)
At flip time, yes. The grid came up about 55 minutes late.
any idea when it went back up?
ooooh.
It was last night here. The 400+ wouldn't load until about 90 minutes after the flip time
You made me go google, Liz. Handmaid's Tale, huh?
what Liz said, I checked in an hour after flip and it was back up then
Yes - have seen the first 2 episodes of series 2.
Damn - I was checking for 89 minutes !!!
Sounds like Dr. God's computer being restarted.
Wonder why you had problems for so long?
there are C words.. gnashing of teeth begins!
I did email Lickety yesterday but don't think he's seen it.
Rain - I HOPE you were kidding about the 89.
I know eh?
different server Rain, I don't know...
hello all, just ducking in for a few
I actually checked for about an hour
Hi Stid
...Dr. God has many servers...
I'm a Canuck too Kate
I don't think I have Lickety's e-mail, forgot to check - I did drag myself to FB to messge
I saw that, EH?
Well, we're off again all together, Hooray!
It's on the Lickety page
Under Lickety's babble clues
Windsor Ontario
I have friends down that way... and there are LOndon Babblers too.
argh... didn't think of looking at babble page. I foget about the links underneath.
I, for one, am not going to blame the good Dr. about our vowel problems.
Haha... agreed jwr!
I know what is wrong with this grid. no S within a mile!

Sorry twice over. That was a 6

Remember -- I play at 8 in the morning -- fresh (more or less)!
That's my slowest time. Getting ready to go to work not.
In fact, I'm off. leaving behind one more clue. If you don't want it, stop reading this now. O - the obverse of The N Word.
stowed it away in my profile, ty ARB

Have a good day jwr
clue for the di6 plz
Just working on that word
With no luck so far
FW
Congrats, Anike.
di6 - hard to clue - first 3 of the electronic di5 before it, then a vowel, then the last two of what our form of government (supposedly) is
just thought I'd give it a shot, haha, prolly makes little sense...
and congrats, anike!
after chasing down some sort of definition of the D word, all I came up with was unisexual.
weird word.
Not finding it :(
You'd think I could find 3 letters!
hi all, can't make out the di6/ any other clue?
Thanks all.
It's not in the regular dictionary, as if that helps. Odd combo of last 3 letters.
this is the adj form of that di 6 rbud clued: Biology Having the male and female reproductive organs, especially flowers, on different individuals.
Diode 6 is a zoological word. Di + Orange county
Liz... look waaaat up!
Try again. Do + Orange County + the last 2 letters of the political style of government in us and UK etic
No Di plus the rest of it!!
thinks anike is tired... DI 6 or is that a dofferent word?
Orange County?
Initials of the county
LOL, won't help us much will it Liz ;)
Never mind - perhaps I'm word blind after the last grid.
ah! good one.
I still have it wrong...can I just give you the word..
go back to rbud's clue... top D clockwise circular pattern
Got it - thanks!
hahaha! would be easier, huh, anike? ;)
I was trying to end the government word with the last 2 letters of small bitey bug.
<---- (hopes no one needs a clue for the 7 next!) :P
Oz bitey bug... mozzie?
doesn't have the 7......
no - 3 letters beginning wth t
I think the 7 would be easier to clue, sounds like...
oh, sorry, Liz, thought of that when I clued it, was thinking I should have gone with maybe something to do with frozen water, or the first two of the cy4, but that's soooo obvious, right?
Finally fireworks. Last word py 5/18
(and now I've done it regardless, heehee)
the di 6 was hard to clue!
yahoo, congrats!
Time to give my computer a break. Thanks for all the help.
ty bud your last post did it for me.
the penny will not drop. must be even more tired than I thought
GN Liz, and congrats!
yw.
what, for the 7? I needed my morewords for that, with all the excluded letters. That knocked it down to only 3 on its list, whew!
though really, having put just eu7 in morewords just now, there aren't many at all (even without excluded letters)
I will look, ty
ends in 3 vowels, like that weird to4 common babblet
found it in the list, thanks rbud!
another weird word!
saw euploid and pounced erroneously ;)
clue for the O in the first column please
the top O
nm found it - never see the sea :)
don't have them yet ursh, will try to look.
TY!
I have trouble with that sea word, too, and oddly enough, it also always takes me forever to see "asea" when it's in the grid. :D
does that mean I'm probably a landlubber, I wonder?
funny, we all have words that we can't find well!
:D
(cause I am, have never been on anything on the water except a canoe, lol)

It's been a long time since I've seen the oc5 that's my excuse ;)

Congrats ursh!
how come fooey doesn't work, it works with a C... :P
and wow, my son just gave me some money, always a pleasant surprise... he sold a car.
:D I tried to pt the coo words, no luck.
tryng to mionkey the py... it doesn't seem to be in more words - or I'm completely blind :(
ends like the current opi*** epidemic - or like one of those painful things that happen to one's behind that require Preparation H
ty rbud, that did it for me - finally! must be fat fingers, I could have sworn I tried that at least twice...
typos are NOT always my friend :/
whew! I still have 15 to go, been too much going on here. People in and out, and it's a ridiculous hour for it all. The dogs go nuts every time.
coming and goind at 2AM? That's just silly...but I guess it IS Friday....
that's what happens when both kids still live here, with significant others and THEIR kids, and friends of all concerned... :P
you're running hotel, not a home! ;)
our place has always been kind of crazy, Hubs was very popular with the local late night crowd, too
plus he worked nights for years, things wouldn't really start up until after 11!
I seem to remember something about that rbud.... topsy turvey household :D
well, second shift. Sometimes third.
hey, we had a train engine catch on fire near here yesterday, out between a couple of tiny towns, took 4 or 5 local fire trucks to put it and associated brush fires around it out. There's a video, maybe I can send it over on FB.
kind of odd, it seemed to me, it was mostly shooting out the top of it like a torch.
crew was standing around waiting on the fire trucks.
I'd love to see that video, rbud. Sounds fun to watch!
that happens sometimes rbud... maintenance isn't what it used to be. crap builds up... it can be very hard tjo put out those deisel fires...
I'm sure the RR guys would like to see itto - can you just post it to my wall?
I think so, the guy made it public. Not sure about putting a link here, Samantha, might be fun to try, hmmm...
LOL... I had to go look in the files to see who you were... I know FB R4 and rbud, but can't seem to put them together... there are very few that I link between FB and Babble - maybe a half dozen. Hopeless with screen names.
if you put the link here, tiny URL it...
Brush fires? Is it dry where you are? We have been pretty wet here....
If it happened at night, it's like a firewoks diplay with all the sparks flying :D
no, not at night, bet that *would* be something to see!
It's on my wall, ty for taking the time rbud... the foamer page will love it, and it will give the real railroader pages something to take potshots at.
I see someone has a theory on the cause in the comments, didn't see that yesterday. No idea if they know what they're talking about or not.
here's what I got from tiny URL, not sure if it works if you're not on facebook, but worth a shot. https://tinyurl.com/y8rjalyd
And now you know who I am at Fb, Kate, we do a lot of back and forth there, it seems. My dad retired from the Rock Island Line way back when, have always been fond of trains and train lore.
I have the same "avatar" pic there as here, had forgotten that.
I just checkied the tiny url rbud, it works fine.
One day I will tie You on FB with YOU here... I really am hopeless. To me rbud and rose are 2 different people. :(
and I have 4 x rose in FB too
well, the would make it more difficult, gosh. I've met a few other Roses along the way, and of course grannyrose in here, but I don't mention I'm Rose, too, very often, when she's here, and others are calling her Rose - it's just confusing, haha
*that, not "the"
oh! just got my last 6, fo6, the melty cheese and/or chocolate pot with long forks...
between the grannys/roses/stids and overlap in Fb I am permanently confuzzled. The same icon pic is very helpful... but most people change their profile pics. (This is why I don't - easily identifiable, though I did try to change my Babble one to same as FB.. can't seem to find my profile pic in PC!)
Wooot! Go rbud go!
grrrr, son is outside revving his race car motor... bet the neighbors love that. But then again, they've been putting up with loudness from the shop out there for years, as Hubs fixed Harleys all the time.
luckily not much for neighbors, only one other house inhabited on the whole block.
Do you live in a ghost town rbud? I would have thought the neighbours would be having fits ;)
well, it's very small, and we own most of our block - AND there are train tracks right beside us, with trains using it a few times a day (there's a wye here, they set up the cars and then take off) That's louder, so maybe they don't mind the other noises? They never seem to complain.
Either that, or they're deaf. LOL ;) Maybe they are nightowls too...
aha, just sent over some stills I found that show the side of the engine post-fire.
thanks rbud :)
glad that didn't happen right next to our house - though shortly after we moved here 25+ years ago, one did manage to derail about 5 or 6 cars right across the crossing a block from here. Much fuss ensued. Only crossing from the backside of town, they all had to use a tiny dirt two-rut path along the tracks for days until it was cleared up.
have often thanked the powers that be that we're on the "right" side of the tracks, and are never trapped behind a long train like they are over there. :D
Ah... gotta love derailments... sounds like you chose well with the site - nothing worse than getting stuck at a crossing - unless the train stop..which is awful!
clue for the an plz

Bonjour! Still no access to e-mail!
pauvre ruby :( bonjour ma cher!
Lapto p was "in the shop" for almost a month and now, with memory totally erased, no access!
My correspondents probaly think l've died!
Oh no ruby... not sure I understand why? no access?
My son was concerned enoguh (rare!) to telephone
l don't know either, but tomorrow a friend will see if he can figure it out.
My usual helper, Nadia, is tied up for the weekend
lt's annoying, but not tragic! LOL
Look at all the time you have for other things ;)
lt's true
So, it's all worth it, since son called :D
How are the pups?
yesterday we made ahuge bouquet of double lilacs for the livig room. The bush was planting specifically to provide cut flowers as it's in the bottom garden, not visible from the house
sorry for typos, l can't really read what l write..........
Ooooh! I adore the smaell of lilacs!
I wouldn't worry about typos... LMAO
My "angel<<<michele", who used to work for a florist, showed me how to make them last longer
What is her trick?
You either pound the stems with a hammeror split them with a nife, so they can take in water
They are very thirsty
knife*
ayed
Oh yes... good idea.
sorry
:D no4 that's not a word ;)
Yhey still don't last very long, but without that, they only last a day
pick them when the first of the buds starts to open and try either a bit of sugar or a crushed aspirin in the water (changed daily)
We add the powder that the supermarket provides with cut flowers but l cn only add water as there's no way l could like the vase
lift*
A very belated Happy Birthday ruby... I haven't been on FB :/
florist powder is good too!
Thank you. With lilacs, on my "table scape" lf have two "gift" plants, white orchids and white arum lilies
lt's all very grand. As l get smaller, the flowers get taller!
Pretty! Can you plant the lilies out when they are finished blooming?
l think so
<picturing the incredible shrinking ruby> :D
Since the lilies are white, l can have themplanted near the white peonies
nfortunately, l can't even dig holes any more
Teach the pups t dig? Just kidding... That's too bad ruby. yu used to ove to work away in the garden.
l can get down, just can't get back up
I need to give my keybosrd a good cleaning out... not hitting the keys hard enough. End up missing every secnd letter
Raffie's specialty is squashing iris!
Scecialising now, how the time flies! Too bad it's the irises... naughty puppy!
Now that it's past stupid o'clock, went to the kitchen to forage... there's a wasp on the loose in there...
She can do no wrong as she is the village princess. People come by to tke the two dogs' photos
I found a dead "leglesslizard" after the lawn was mowed, threw it in the pond, and it was instantly Grabbed by a monstergoldgfish fromthe deep
Of course, this news does not surprise me in the least... she is a beaut... they both are. :)
When the housekeeper walks them, she prétends they're hers, so proud is she!
I did see that ruby - the watch dogs alerted you to its presence...:D
sorry for th repeat, getting old!
LOL, how are you supposed to remember who saw what? Don't worrry about it. I repeat myself too. You might want t give that goldfish a name, if it's big enough to eat the lizard...
di 6 plz
That's funny because yesterday, when my friend and l were feeding and admiring the lovely fish, we named 4that we could recognize (out of hundreds!): Spot, Mr; Clown, Ghost and Angel (because of his very long white fins)
tricky one to clue ivesy. 1 sec
ok.. does it work off of the 5
hi ivesy
hi ruby
starts like the electonics part + a vowel + first half of a colour in the grid?
clockwise circular pattern to the word in the grid, if that helps.
ty kate , will work on it
and I will work on a better clue.
you're kidding, right? LOL
i dont get the electronics part lol
ldon't get the color
me either ruby lol
OMG,l finally reached half, my big goal for the day!
Italian for "god" + r***ling bin (for glass/paper/cans etc to be collected along with the grbage)
ahhh got it!! ty
great clue
tough letter combo...
the colour is one of 4 that is in a printer... it is a shade of blue. the word was cy 4/7
especially formy empty head!
and now I've just pretty much given it away completely :(
ty ty!!
sorry folk!
l still didn't get it, but l appreciate your effort!
ivesy... you got the as 5... do you not have the similar word?
grrr AN 5*
yes , i have the an 5..
i hate doing it without lickey.. never know what word goes where
I was just reading back.. so you did name some of the more special fish :D
there is a DI word that is th AN5's relative.
oh ok.. didnt know that
That's what triped you up with the first clue - I assumed you had that word already.
We started with 23 red OR yellow "feeders" and now have hundreds of multicoloredones, even some with black fins
oh no prob.. the other clue was great
l give up for now, l think NYT was just delivered & l'll have an early lunch
Very nice ruby! that must be quite a fish pond to behold... it must be very relaxing to sit and watch.
See you later
bye ruby, have an enjoyable day!
lt's beautiful, ws my husband's hobby, and there will be waterlilies by June (only leaves, so far) and thz fountain in the middle is blocked
lt is always surprising that the fish and plants survive the brutalwinters
Oh my! You will have to take some pictures when it's in full bloom!
lt attracts birds, including a heron who comes for breakfast, by day, and bats in the evenings
It's THAT big? A heron... you ARE lucky! Do you know what kind?
Just a common big white one. My husband used to try to shoot it, but there are enough fish to share
The pond isn't that big andl think the fish eat the Young when there are too many
Fish are cheap too... well worth any restocking needed to have a resident heron!
They can be canibalistic... even among their own species.. good thing goldfish are plentiful and inexpensive,
and again with the typos... sigh
That way the heron won’t have any egret
Not here! The feeders, which sell for one or two $/ dozen in Miami, cost one euro EACH here. If l could sell mine, they are Worth 10euros or more for each
Or l could eat themif l go broke!
l'm a cannibal, too
Wow... sounds like you should be going to the river and scooping up some to bring home... How do yu prepare goldfish - pan fried or baked?
yes.. another of my typos :(
goldfish and chips... could be quite a thing ;) at lest we know that you will be well fed, come what may.
Goldfish sushi. Like carp-accio
Maybe gefulte (sp?) fish as thet are, after all, carp
Maybe you should start sideline as fishie breeder? You said there are some pretty ones... tell them to make babies!
....aaand there's ruru! Hihi :D
no carping ru! You'd be well-fed here. And no egrets living in this little corner of Heaven!
carp and chips doesn't have the same cache though...
L think that's what they do Under the ice
ruby scores a double!
With all the drugs the gov't gives me, l could start two enterprises
We have lured ruru out..he has fallen for our bait hook, line, and sinker.
Maybe Coq au Fin?
:D ruby, drug dealer extraordinaire....
ouch! that was painfully good ruru
There's a coque living up the hill from me, and he's given me his phone number!
Was that zinger gill-t free?
Do tell, ruby....
Kind of a gourami meal
I have no more illusions about ruru. There scales have been pulled back from mine eyes
We'll see; l'm about 10 years too old for that particular pastime
Do you just sit there and perch waiting for an opening?
hahah
Usually i am just being coi
He was a dog fancier -- liked my fancy dogs
and he also liked your fancy puppies :D
l'm notcarping; you're a cutie, ru!
The drug of choice in the US is almost in the grid
Trying to sing ruru a song, butI'm out of tun-a
ahi!!
that ending will come in handy ruby. for a tricky 5...
l think it's Japanese tuna
or close to it, didn't mean to mislead you.
see you later kids, time for food and the NYT Sunday puzzle
Sunday puzzle? wow..... have fun
I'll go visit sudoku for a while.
ARB and I have lists in profile if anyone wants it.
"Old MacDonald had a farm..." Enable doesn't accept the next line though ;)
It should with this many vowels. : D
Oh, and there is a player with that name, so she gets the Babble tiara today.
Haa! Excellent.
Can someone put me out of my misery and clue the di 6/30?
I'm stuck on that one too, sukee
And me...
Doing a word search doesn't help either
Start like the di5 and end with the last three of a pr word that means a foretelling of what will be
It is a biology word meaning both male and female organs
thank you!
ty Molly
and FW. I thought I tried that already.
Thank you Molly

Good lord, if I set the date back on my computer, can I get yesterday's grid back instead?
I doubt it, but setting the date and time back would be a great way to mess with a co-worker. : D
i definitely think "fooey" describes this board
i tried that too
LOL ;)
think it's properly spelled phooey
i know how it's spelt, but hope springs eternal
Hahaha. We go from 404 to 60 words.
i missed a 404 grid?! booooo, that's what happens when i have to actually work for a living
It was fun typing away.
woot far right column blacked out...only 22 mountains left to climb
Go Natasha.
lol scrabbler
I need 38 and see nothing.
I suck at thinking up weird scientific terms with many vowel combos. give me rope, dope, hope.
cope with the trope
grope without hope.
Trope is a word that I see everywhere now, just on the last few weeks.
why isn't dipod a word? tripod is
dipod
oops sorry
Dipods can't hold up a camera.
28 left. Maybe I will return tonight. Off to a funeral soon.
sorry to hear...
Grope without hope is what got Weinstein in trouble natasha
good morning - I hope!

glad I'm not a vegetarian -- can't imagine surviving without filet mignon smothered with bernaise sauce
I couldn't either when I was young - adored steak, super rare. College dining hall put me off meat.
Once I started THINKING about what I was eating... that was the end of it for me.
lol - can understand that, natasha - as I recall, everything was overcooked and tasteless
They'd serve things that looked like an open sore...
And this was YALE, mind you. The only time they had edible food was parents' weekend.
All of a sudden they'd roll out huge wheels of cheese and gorgeous coldcut platters. We'd all be telling our parents, "Um, no, this is NOT what they usually serve us."
that's what happens when the money goes to profs doing research full time and schools supporting football teams
down to 14 - need to find a list
looks like I have to list with 11 to go too
thank you ms Molly

My profile is right here if needed.
ARB is the list making star. I just copy and paste for easy access. : D
thanks molly
And I put the spaces in, if needed, because the list reads easier for me that way.
College dining hall food was gross, but it never put me off meat. I am a carnivore by nature.
Thanks Molly! You helped me get to FW!

No shame in that!

yw. i am stuck on the di 6. it's my last. frustration!!
di + two vowels + bridal gowns are often la**
I think that di6 just needs to get posted in the chat. It is the most asked for word today.
But then, that would be encouraging the bitter, "don't you just love it" profile hit and runner.
ty molly! fireworks!
I wish we could just sprinkle sugar in the chat to fight off the bitterness :D
or at least ice cream :D
That would be nice Ru. And if people want to be bitter, so be it. But hiding behind a fake name is chickenshit.
Di**** -- (Greek: διοικία "two households"; adjective form''-- that's what google yielded-- reverse lookup?
It's not in the Enable dictionary...
so fancy getting the greek letters in here!
copied 'em :-D
i come up with words sometimes, and they sound so real... and then they ain't
I hate when that happens...

freud
ding ding ding!
freud
aarrgghh! Sorry!
not a word anyway...
it's ok, you just were a little late for the dings
of course it's not a word, i wouldn't play NTPN if it counted in the grid.
:D-- ok
ok, i have two words left, a C4 and 5
got the 4
The house next door to me was sold a while ago and now the new neighbours son is really noisy. Well his 8-9 friends are. they are around the 19 years stage.
and done
oh geez, zooz, i'm so sorry
Congrats, Hurshy!
that is awful, zzoozz! Are there any "noise laws" there?
I don't mind them enjoying themselves, I mean I was a but like that at that age but wish they would tone it down a bit.
C5 comes from the root to make lovey noises-- one who does and one who is the recipient
Music, too?
There are, Ruby but they are a bane to use and it takes an age. Also I do not want to start a neighbour war.
Music yes but mostly very loud shouting and banging about with the doors etc.
Thankfully it is mostly confined to Friday night Sat & Sunday.
My previous neighbor had 3 boys Under 6 and a pool to amplify the noise. We couldn't sit outtside and have a conversation.
No my neighbor isa weaalthy pig who keeps having his side of MY hedge cut
I suppose if this house was built better and not with these very thin walls it would be a lot better. Maybe I am just a miserable old git.
now*
Is he still doing that, Ruby. Thought that was sorted.
My house was built on the cheap and there's no sound (or other) inssulation and of course, no heat.
co5/16 is the adjective fporm of same root...
Your house sounds just like how my house is built.
form
Australian hello :-)
l wrote him a civil but form&l letter, but lt's still early in the season. lmay have to hire an assassin.
I say that only as Grannyrose uses that saying a lot here lol
Ah so it might be that he will leave off the trimming then, Ruby!
I am now playing whit noise to see if that will drown out there din lol
Todaya neighbor took me to the plant store& ol bought an enormous number of plants: "cheats" for the borders, others for in front of the house and many for the deck.
She had to carry themdown to the housenfor,pe, much too much fornwimpy me!
Nice sounds like you are having it all spruced up!
l can't plant them myself, but hopefully somebody (gardener, handyman) will come to dig and carry.
l ven bought small tomato plants for the deck as l can no longer get down to the ptager
No but at least you can have it all planned out to how you want it!
Getting old is no joke, but better than the alternative
I hope your tomato plants will do better than the last lot you had.
That is true, Ruby.
lt's funny that you remember; l remember nothing of last summer. l guess l was too sick
Nothing exciting happens in my life, Ruby LOL
Yes you were rather poorly, Ruby. so glad things are getting better for you!
lf something exciting happened in mine, l'd probably forget it. <<lol
LOL Bless you.
At least l can recall most of my past -- ready to have Mollyghostwrite for me (just kidding, Molly)
or not.....
Had to use morewords for the EU 7
And that is me done.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your evening, Ruby.
Happy babbling everyone!
and that is me, giving up! Good night zzoozz
Sweet dreams, Ruby.

He said clues were up as of 8:20 PM I saw
clues up for me
(((cos))) How are you doing?
the waiting ugh
i dont know how to deal with the waiting
waiting? (Sorry, I haven't been here the last couple of nights)
How's Ryan?
days left thats what were waiting for
could be tonight could be up to 14 days
cos, instead of just waiting, this is the time that you should be talking to Ryan, tell him you love him, tell him that it's okay for him to go (give him permission to pass)
hes sleeping heavily on morphine... but we talked a few times today and hell no i aint letting him go
im sorry but no
and review your lives together; any silly memories you have of the two of you. Even if he's heavily drugged, hearing is the last sense to go
Is he suffering?
This may sound bad; but the thing is, as long as you want him to stay and be with you, he will try to hang on to life; and that may increase the amount of suffering he's going through
(& I just realized what I said about hearing; & once again I forgot; can Ryan hear?
yes he can but he is coherent.. he knows.
we have conversations
ok. Just talk to him. Waiting is hard; but talking to him & reviewing your lives together will remind both of you about the good times (& bad); & it will help the time pass
And it's okay to tell him how you feel; if your angry or sad, or whatever, that's okay to share within.
but how do I wait
What do you want to wait for? Are they limiting your time at his bedside?
hes at his moms house
OH! And how far is that from where you are?
not far. but i mean.. sitting there waiting for it to happen
Don't just sit there & wait for him to die. If it's okay with his mom, feed him, wash his face, sponge out his mouth & keep it clean & moist, hold his hand; do those types of little things that mean something to you to comfort him. If you can read a book to him that you both like; or bring his dog over for a visit; things like that that would mean something to the 2 of you. Just sitting there *waiting* doesn't help either of you; but if there are things you can do for his comfort; that will help.
And when you aren't there visiting; use your energy to do mindless, thoughtless tasks such as doing laundry, doing dishes, scrubbing floors, weeding the garden. Basically do the things around the house that always need to be done but don't require any thinking or concentration. And eat the nutritious foods (not junk); and be sure and get your rest & sleep.
Because when he does pass, you need to be able to get through *that* whole phase of the process, too
Sorry to butt in here, but Nef is completely right. I lost my dearest closest friend in July to cancer and at the end it is all about being there for the person and doing what needs to be done, showing your love, support and caring. Doing what he/she needs, not what is easiest for you.
okay .
hes only 34.
i dont know.
I see Lickety is up
I've lost 5 very close family members (and am losing my baby brother to ALS very soon also) and it *hurts* so much; but it's important to make the other person feel loved & cared for. And as a nurse at the bedside in ICU for 34 years; I've given this same advice to so many family members. It makes a difference if you think about your loved one or worry about yourself.
cos, it's extremely hard on you; but you will feel better later.
Thanks, Dorens.
Hi harp.
cos, he's packed a lot of living in his 34 years; both good & bad. You need to remind him of your times together, okay?
SOOO well said Nef, sure hope I have a friend like you nearby when I have to face it
Thanks, flosey. I hope you do too; and I hope we all can be that lucky. (I was updating my profile about my brother just now).
