mind over matter, lol. Getting out of the trailer and using the bathroom are the biggest challenges, and I think I can do it.
the workshop is a training day for the assistants for Family Constellations. It is a therapy form I want to learn to do, and today is the first real training day

Oh, lovely! But is it, now, a thing you'll have to do for a solid week to get credit for the training, or is it one day a week? And what's Family Constellations? I've not heard of the group before.
lol, the doctor has given up hope on me. He thinks I am crazy. But... the plastermaster thinks I am the best patient ever. He says being active is the best way to let it all heal without losing muscle power

We get credit for every day. I often help as an assistant, but I want to be able to lead groups as well. That is what the training is for. Family constellations is a therapy form in which you focus on a theme in your life and then put stand-ins for all people involved in the room. The way they are placed and the way they interact tells you a lot about the theme.

From an English speaker's perspective, Dutch and German are initially INSANE languages. Then you start to notice all the little things, the actual roots, that we have in common.
one of the premises of FC is that we often carry a lot of family-related shit on our shoulders. Through the generations, patterns repeat themselves. This is a way to see how that may be the case and to find ways to change it
oh that is so true. Dutch and German just stack on and on and you get crazy-long words. But the similarities are there, thank God.
My husband and I visited Holland (our first time) and France (his first time) and he found that he could read French signs and almost know what they said . . . But I found I could read Dutch and German signs and *translate*, though not *know*.

The SI ferry doesn't go to the statue. You can view the statue during the trip. There is a secial boat for the staue and Ellis

we have moved into a trailer/caravan on feb 1st, yes. Then I went and broke my ankle. Things have been interesting ever since.
oh dear - not the easiest place to live with a broken ankle!
when will you get rid of the cast?
lol, definitely not. The other ankle is badly contused, and is also in a cast, so it's been a bit of a challenge. We are managing, though, and mostly keeping morale high.
it is a complicated fracture, had to be put to rights in surgery, with lots of metal works. So am looking at at least 6 weeks in a cast, probably a lot longer with a moonboot.

yeah, am afraid so. Lots of physio and lots of exercise in between. Doc says it will take 6 months before I can navigate stairs again. I hope to beat the odds though.
