hi all...nbt/nbs
good morning al
all* even
no bling, no blog... enable is way behind the times
{{{{{ spritey }}}}}} looking at you with burning eyeballs. i am so excited i cannot sleep properly... loll..
also no logon or login
*hugs rose* Hello my dearest friend! Same here. We bought two chairs that are comfortable and can be raised, so that you guys can sit properly in our front tent.
and.... I drove in our car! Not very far yet, but it bodes well for more adventures.
last of the washing in the dryer now. i don't think i need any of it, but still....
how lovely honey. will look forward to using those, for sure. thank-you so much.
and I sent out Rob yesterday to buy us a storage thing for the front tent too... I was SO sick of all his stuff lying around everywhere :D Now tomorrow, the stitches come out and I intend to turn caravan and tent into cozy areas in stead of mess containers.
I expect your walking to arrive on May 1st. And I will go to Patricia's and collect all the ingredients for the sangria spiker. Hm, should arrange for some extra bottles for mixing... and of course red wine and fruit.
walking = walker
lollll.... poor you, and poor Rob. he is never gonna find his stuff now.
not my problem, nor yours :D :D
oh Don just sent me a great picture! And a very funny text. Love him. Will let him know! Mindblowing, isn't it, the difference in size between your country and mine.
roflollll... and don is grinning sympathetically at Rob.
:D the guys will have to team up against us if they are to survive this month. You and me... we are unbeatable.
er... yeah..... hopefully you will now understand why when he drove for three days he only got half way up the east coast.
do we have to pick up your rental straight away?
no. we will decide when we get there and suss the lie of the land, so to speak... yes, yes, i know, it's flat.
oh I knew, but seeing it in a picture brings it home even stronger.
very, very flat. Will never ever understand why they didn't simply call it the Flatlands and leave it at that.
maybe they didn't want you to think you would fall off the edge...lolll
any news from belgium?
lol
Sprite ... isn't it ThebNetherlsnds becausebots wll below sealevel
no, which is very strange. i am hoping everything is okay. remember her mum is 95? i will email her when we arrive and see what happens then.
hiya Christine! Yes, our whole country is below sealevel.
ah, brilliant, rose. I hope things are okay indeed.
Gawd ... typing while lying down, is rarely successful. I'm amazed you understood my comment. Clever Sprite.
*giggles* I have lots of practice, Christine, in trying to make sense of my own monkeytyping here.
Sprite/g'rose ... How much longer, 'til the meet-up?
so, rose... dinner with tim and lisa on friday, and seeing Caya's musical on the 10th. Otherwise, all is empty and we can fill it in however we see fit.
May 1st, Christine! Will pick up rose and don from the airport on wednesday at about 1.30 pm
And when will you and Rob visit Oz?
oh, if only, Christine! Some day, we hope. The journey is still beyond our means.
sounds good darling.
am also very much looking forward to watching Queer Eye with you. SOOOO much better when shared :D
*happy sigh*
how about dinner on wednesday, rose? Do you want to eat at ours or would you and Don prefer to get settled in your hotel, have an early dinner and go to bed on time?
lolll... don says let's wait and make sure the plane gets there first.
tell him I promise that will be the case. The Big Guy told me, so there.
we should be okay. it's only a 7 hour flight from Dubai. we will have had a sleep and shower in the hotel at the Dubai airport.
perhaps something lightish honey. emirates keep feeding you food every few hours.
mwah... still a very very long journey, a real long time in a plane and much dehydration going on. Also, you prolly won't have slept much in the plane, just in Dubai. We will take it very easy and give you plenty of recovery time.
not as long as the 14 hour leg from Melbourne to Dubai. that's the one i am dreading.
I can understand! I would dread that too. If you can, bring sleeping pills. Makes a lot of difference if you can sleep 5-6 hours of that time away. I did it when flying to and from Dubai and it made all the difference.
good idea, sprite. i think the melatonin will do it for me. i do know that once i have taken it, i am pretty much out of the loop for some hours.
that is really lovely. Otherwise it is a terribly long stretch.
it's okay for don... he just sits there and feasts on all the movies they show.
lol indeed. He will have square eyes by the time you arrive
we have started our packing too. lolll... i think i am gonna remove half of mine and buy stuff over there.
as long as you bring your meds, the rest can be found here, I think.
i know. i was going to bring a plug in personal fan, but hen i thought, nah. buy it there and leave it with sprite.
I might even be able to lend you mine. SHould be in the container.
just a small one for beside the bed. with the FM i find i need the air flow over my face even with the CPAP on.
I very much understand. I think I have what you need, and if not, we will get you one. Don't bring bulky things like that if you don't need to, it will save you lots of bother along the way.
okay my friend, time for me to get ready for the meeting. Love you to pieces. Just a few more days! *hugsssss* *hugs Christine* And to you all, a blessed day and a peaceful night
xoxoxox and HUGS in abundance to you dear friend.
