strange vegetable dishes - amazing how good anything with indian spices tastes ! I was having a craze on daal before this all happened but red lentils are harder to find than hens teeth? My niece got me shopping at weekend she bought me LARGE of everything so I need a bit of room in my freezer to store some of that.
OO good idea, i made various stews in the slow cooker. Good luck playing Tetris with your freezer hehe

Many in my area are "hunkering down" to help flatten the curve, but I am an 'essential servie" and have been going in every day to help keep everyone fed. Our "curve" is showing promise, but the next two weeks will be important ones, I think. :/

we are still allowed to do outdoor exercise things here and drive to the grocery/pharmacy
I have to go out as I am a carer for my parents as you know.
Our traffic is down a good 80% We just need to convince some to come out for essentials only--not video games and big scree T.V's
Took me over an hour to get food from a supermarket for my parents. It was five in five out.

Our beaches are closed on the island except for a few dog walkers. But you know what people are like when the sun comes out and it is hot.
stupidity is rampant - going back to an earlier convo about playgrounds, there was a group of older children tearing down the 'do not cross' tape at a small playground (because the city realized that news announcements weren't working) - when told to stop and that they shouldn't be in such close proximity, they razzed the lady and said, "but we're cousins."
Silly people. We have had adults filming themselves sneezing and licking tins and bottles in the supermarkets! Unbelievable.
Our prime minister has got the corona virus and is in self isolation.

ohhhh, how dumb can you be? here, in canada, if you've wintered in the u.s. and are coming back north, you MUST self-isolate for 14 days - no grocery shopping, no picking the dog up from the kennel, no stops at all - just go home. but the authorities noticed a LOT of vehicles stopped at shopping centers - now, you face a maximum $750,000 fine and 6 months jail if you do not self-isolate
I think east coast beaches here are closing. We were supposed to go to one in FL for spring break and it is closed.

i admit that we've gone to our place for the weekend, but we don't stop on the way there or on the way home - and it's pretty deserted, so we didn't see anyone all weekend

Actually, from the definition, it appears that this spelling is almost the opposite of the "im" word. It has a meaning similar to "emerging".
