I believe Babble uses the ENABLE word list... which has stopped updating
ENABLE seems a poor choice, then imho.

Re the ENABLE and why words aren't in there -- ENABLE is not a dictionary; it is a word list. Gillie is totally right in saying because it's free. Updating dictionaries is expensive. The ENABLE list is at least reliably inconsistent!

Interesting that Tyrone is in the grid today. The All Ireland football final was won yesterday by County Tyrone. They beat Mayo. The winning Mayo football team of 1951 was cursed by a priest when they didn't show due respect to a passing funeral as they celebrated their win. The curse was that as long as any member of that team was alive, they would never win an All Ireland final. And despite reaching the final many times, they have't won since 1951.
Well, that story just goes to show that Irish curses are serious business (as is the evil eye)
