Is it a good puzzle when there are 10 8 letter words or a bad puzzle?
yeah - gonna change now
I have to concur, stidmama -- I couldn't play last week AT ALL because I have a problem with my elbow from too much Babble... so I had to lay off for a whole week. Yesterday's was short, so I justified it. On the other hand, it has been a week ...

Good morning all; R8/60
hey paddy
so ch1212, your icon is small on my screen & i can't make out who it is - it looks to me like either a young richard burton or russell crowe - am i close?
S8
s 8/50
You were right on -- it's Crowe in one of his first films, called "Blood Oath".
lol - never even heard of it, lol
Australian film, of course. Don't think it's been released in the U.S. -- he had a very small role
ahhh
brb - have to let the puppsters out for a few
hey, why don't lickety's clues work w/Safari browser? they had been.

helen--I know your icon but can't place him--clue?
helen - where did you find that icon - i love him! he
i wrote a little something in my bio - a clue !
he's the sexiest ugly man in the world!
177 left
will go fetch clue...
well, ls1 - you cant' have him - he's mine !
So tomorrow it will feel like a medium puzzle
i think you can leave out the word ugly in your sentence & it would still be true
truly madly deeply is one of my favorite movies
ls1 - i just image googled his name & this was the best young close-up i could find - i wanted the one with the pageboy haircut, but pic was too small
who knew he could sing & dance like that - LOL
hmmm..
see- i knew right away i liked you, & it's not just that you live down the street from me either :)
lib - are you kidding - you can't place that quote?
iv got 1 word yay
i know- seems like we have a lot in common
maybe I was absent that day?
lib - i see by your profile that you ought to know
most recently lib, think harry potter
lol ok ls1 - give lib another clue
I know!
I mean I know I should know...
even more recently - think hhgttg
think deep, menacing, velvet voice
or love actually or dogma...
Morning all! I keep seeing "turnip".
sense & sensability, bob roberts,GALAXY QUEST
ls1 - have you seen 'dark harbor'?
morning sue
no, or galaxy quest either
hi sue
i've got to go find a new icon - i just can't think of anyone
ls1 you must see them both then - in galaxy quest he is an alien & in dark harbor (well, let's just say full fro....)
ok - on my way to blockbuster!
ROFL !!!
lib - are you still there?
renfield - before i signed off i read your profile - Ishtar? I've always wanted to see it - unfortunately blockbuster online doesn't have it ;(
oh, yes, the PROF!
bravo !!!
wow, brain lag :-[] lol
lol - now you can get even - i have been staring at your icon & i have absolutely no clue
i guess robert deniro, but i don't thin that's right
melon - sometimes it's on one of the movie channels
really, helen, *imagine* who it is...
really - that's john lennon?
you got it helen!
you're clue was perfect!
ahhhhhh...movie channels. just got another 8 letter - i gotta quit this not good for arthritic neck.
my bums asleep
sue Magee - you see turnip, i see putrify
hi everybody!! dh has a gig tonight so hopefully i can finish this puzzle tonight and avoid my horrible performance on yesterday's grid!
i see depends
lol ren
hiya fran
hi helen!
fran - i am loving this 'guess the icon' game - & yet again i am stumped, no clue who you got there - i guess....hmmmmm, billy bob thornton?
not billy bob, but he sometimes appears on the same red carpets
another clue, please
who is your icon?
i asked first - i have a clue in my bio
he is a recording superstar, was once part of a group, but now records solo records
is that mick?
sting?
ls1 got it helen!!
yes ls1 is right
is it jim carrey?
i'm listening to him right now
now i have to guess yours
oh sting!
ls1 - YET another stumper!!!!
can i get another clue?
i loooove sting
mine is not really as famous as yours, yet, but he is my current crush
i think ls1 is willen dafoe
ls1 fran needs another clue - what should we tell her - his first really big part was as the villan (which he is BEST at) in 'die hard'
helen i'm not sure you've guessed it yet!
ls1 - give me a clue
almost famous
no ls1 - not ringing any bells
stage beauty
nope, sorry
big fish
see, i told you he's not a household name...yet
ls1 - if those are 3 movies, i only know the first & don't remember it well
alan rickman
well - you definitely need to see big fish!
yes fran !!!! i was just going to ask if you were going to help me with ls1's
never even heard of big fish - have i?
Albert Finney was excellent in big fish, as usual.
i have to go to a wedding tomorrow - i think i am going to miss alot of fun here :(
billy crudup?
yes fran!
that's his name - he was cuuuuuute in almost famous!
Clues are up everyone! Enjoy!
okay, i have to fess up, i went on imdb.com
thanks lickety!
thanks licketysplit!!
you're a dream lickety!
well, i guess that he really fits the description "before they were famous" ... he's not really even famous yet!
renfield, who are you?
thanks, lickety, I am at 154 and stalling - need the clues for help, now
Morning dear gang :) Must be a great grid, my favorite 3 letter word is in it :)
hi sprite!

wow, would never have guessed that one renfield!
stid is in the grid again, third time in two weeks
i have 190 - it is 1:30 - i need to still get my laundry & am debating a soak in the tub - nope i'm skipping that, be back in a bit
k helen
hehe, spoken as a true addict!
later helen! i'll brb also, have to put baby to bed
yes, renfield--can't place you

I have read 1, I think. Is she that antiheroine with the great sense of humour?
have a great vacation exwren!
I remember something about a huge rabbit chasing her and threatening her life
i don't know about anti heroine, but she does have an offbeat sense of humor
i don't know about anti heroine, but she does have an offbeat sense of humor
i don't know about anti heroine, but she does have an offbeat sense of humor
thanks exwren!
Is that from her adventures, that giant rabbit?
fest not found?
okay, it's 3AM ... I have 203 words done and have again come to a screeching halt ... will be back later to finish
nm, looked it up, it is. From Hard Eight.

imagine that it's not paul ;)
i can't believe te4/9ed is not in the dictionary!
night nrkii!
hey everyone!!
hi paige & maddie
hey p&m
how are we all?
FranMag--yes about te 4/9 past tense!
i'm a little sleepy
we are great, how are you?
one who te*** is...
good thankyou!
yes, i got those, thanks!
enable needs to bring itself into the new century!
indeed, renfield, so inconsistent!
hear, hear renfield
maybe Dr.G. will have an election for new words?
like mosh & blog?
phat is in Enable--why not mosh?
and fudgier
phat surprised me
me too, FanMag :D
and fudgier--more fudgy!
but blog, really, an internet game?
fudgier is most definitely a word!
not including blog?
what is everyone talking about?
the limited Enable dictionary--the source
ooh, i've found two 8 letter words! really easy ones, but i'm still proud of myself.
but, fest is really a word!
So is teste
just like ptui
There is a truly beautiful Y8 (not fitting the season though).
ok - i took care of the laundry & took a soak - i think i'll see if there is any life here after 196 for a few minutes & then check on the sudoku & then go to bed - are you all STILL here -LOL
it's also in today's grid libarebel!
teste, yes indeed
your f word that is
ptui maybe slang...
hi helen, lol, i'm still here!
lol helen!....yes
lol -addicts
Of course I am still here. Grid isn't finished yet, is it?
ooh, thanks sprite!
i think i've tried flex 5 times...it's still not working!
FranMag-- yup, the lack of fest is what set me off :-D
Can people please give us some clues??
another grey box!
helenkeller--us?
the i - lol
etir
sex goes nowhere...
no - don't even try it
uh, beg to differ, lib
not in dict...
no sex today, no orgasm yesterday... no wonder we get frustrated over these grids.
yes, it does libarebel, try again
anymore helenkeller?
But there is a word unrelated to sex, yet starting there.
ok, ty, helen & Fran!!
p&m there is a 4 letter word that starts with S that means to surprise and you can make two more words from it
thanks but we had them!!! anymore???
actually, you cna make 3 more words from it, 1 being a 7 letter word.
thanks rrrr!
ty, Fran-- one did lead to others
ok - going to sleep now...see ya'll later today! or tonight!
night renfield
s4/9, s6/33 adn S8/65
good nite rennie :)
yuft
nite, renfield
p&m, there is another 4 letter word that starts with S that is what a man wears to work in an office
eys thank you but we had that one aswell!!!
fran, yes, rhymes w/ zoo!ty!
zoot
anymore???
p&m, do you have the R word that means the smallest in the litter?
bb in a bit, baby really wants to sleep now
no..................
found my last d on the bottom - i went about de*****, lol
ok - i'm outta here - good nite all
night helen!
i dont get the R word!
see ya before the wedding - going to have to get up early, not sure if i'll be back by midnight, or in any state to work on the grid - 66 to go - sigh
nite fran :)
nite helen
can you please give me another clue for the R word that you were telling me about, FranMag?
good nite helenkeller :-D
P&M, when a dog has puppies, one of them is always smaller then the others, that's the ru**
ty, baby sting :-D
i dont get it
R4 fast walk + consonant
hey sprite, do you have a definition for that se8/65? can't seem to find a path
Fran: female group of 6 singers
wow, ty, sprite!
aha! is it a alternate spelling? that's a cool one
what is it????????
Yes, it's alt. spelling for the 6.
a french ending!, good one, sprite!
yw ;)
Also found a bit strange Es8/65, make into an Es5/10. Same ending as Te7/48 make very afraid and Te7/48 give an account of something you saw happen.
you are good, sprite ;-)
I thought the word was 'obsessed' ;)
thanks sprite, still working on those ESs, but found the TEs!
The Es's are chemical words, Fran! And finding the 8 was a result of one of my babble rules: try each ending on any word in the neighbourhood! :D
good tips sprite, i need to work on finding those longer words. thanks.
that es8/65 really is strange!
I looked up the def and beneath it are even stranger words with that Es5, lol. I will try and remember them too for another grid.
i'm sure you already have the r8/45 and the s8/50?
hmmm,8/65?
r8/45-to quiz again
libarebel, find the es5/10 first and then add that ending to it, it really is strange
I have all the 8s. Down to 13.
uh, past tense :)
you're my idol sprite!
lol! That Re8 has a D cousin.
thanks sprite!
ty, FanMag--es8/65--to make afraid of a chemical compound? lol :)
*grin*
Fran
libarebel, that will be our clever clue when other people ask later!!
That's the kind of clue I love most!
lol, FM
Greetings!
Hi there Hugs! *hugs Hugs*
hi
hi hugs
Hiya Sprite! How's it been going?
hi & welcome, Hugabugs
Slowly but surely in the right direction, Hugs. And you?
So many new faces... hello everyone!
My new job has been keeping me busy and to bed earlier than I had been
hello everybody
hi aleksia
hi aleksia
hi egm
Do you enjoy the new job, Hugs? Hi Aleksia

I thought soap opera theme was yesterday...
libarebel, found an r8/60
hey guys
hey
HI
hi jess
ooh, do clue, fran...
c u everybody
re8/60, get measured for a dress again
missing 1 8, got de50, es65, re60, re45, se65, st50 & yu60????
TY!!! Fran!! :)
FranMag the Good! :-D
lshult, you have everything i have and then some!
oh wait, i have that yu also, i have the same ones you have lshult!
so
I think you are missing another De50, bit obscure one. It has a latin ending, def is Loose fragments or grains that have been worn away from rock
Good morning all.
But Ishult, there are 10 x 8, and you list only 7?
hello, Haz :-|
i've actually heard of that word sprite! ty
your right, am missing 3??????????
Is the grid friendlier today?
now i need two more
Ishult, you're missing un8/50
Also Fe8/55 and Un8/50
grid not like me... :-|
Haz: it is really nice. Lots of common biggies.
I got the de8/50 straightaway from your clue, so that was a good start!
My absolute favorite of today is Yu8. Put a smile on my face finding it and the smile is still there :)
just looking for the un now
sprite, can i get definitions for those last two 8s?
common biggies to you, sprite! lolol :OD
like i said, sprite is now my babble hero!
Fran: Fe 7/8 think iron and chemical words Un8: no canvas
she gives the best clues too!! got them!
yw ;)
that was a great pointer about trying the endings on everything you can think of, i just found 4 more shorter words with that scaring ending
It works for me every time. I always think: no one is watching, why not try stupid things? And it pays off more often than not, lol.
wow, having got rid of camping shelter-- ty sprite!
Down to 5, all S's. FIgures.
hmmm...
Why are S's always so hard in the end?
It's the law.
Must be :)
have a few--which ones?
i'm sure i read it somwhere
No idea which ones yet
Murphy's Law?
Universal law.
Another babble rule of mine: always check my own wordlist for forgotten plurals, singulars, verb forms etc. But so far no luck with that one.
there's st5/12--a trick
With a past tense, I think.
but st4/5--to amaze/paralyze sarts a bunch
um, starts
Sefir isn't a word... could have sworn I heard that somewhere. But I found one: S4 really great minus last letter.
Hello All just popping in for a minute before it's time for tea
ooh, i had that one sprite
hi miss abs, some of your students were on earlier
Good! Now 4 more...
Have to take a break to start getting lunch prepared but will pop in again. 94 done, 175 to go. Congratlations in advance, sprite!
later haz
lol Haz! *hug*
At least I found my last missing 7. St4/4 past tense = St7/32.
Hi Miss Scarlett, it is Maddie and Paige, your students!
now i have those also!
i found that u on the bottom left!
I simply ALWAYS forget some like these, a past tense, a plural, a singular. Always feels stupid, having 'fast' but not 'faster' and things like that. WTG Fran! Nice find!
today i'm actually missing the singulars and present tenses. i seemed to find longer words first.
Hello everyone!!
bi mrP :)
hi mrpresident!
*hi, not bi
bi?? who is going bi?
hi mrp
I will go byebye, soon as I find that stupid missing S5!
do you have the medical s5?
The compress one?
do you have the compound?
Yes, I think so. Se5/14
Hi paige and maddie!
hey mrp!
Sprite do you need se 5 that means to arrange to begin?
sprite, definition says it's like a catheter
se + coonsonant + oopposite of down?
hello, mrpresident :)
I have: se5/14, st5/12, st5/10, st5/12, st5/12, st5/14, su5/12, su5/12
:) hello liba and kateq and fran and sprite et al! this looks a bit of a thriller
catheter... might be the missing one, I only have a compress medical one, I think.
there's also an st5/14 that rhymes with a st4/5 up to a door
I think you are missing the St that is a medical term--a tube that is inserted into a blocked artery
it's not bad, but it might be because i get to take my time and i've been getting great advice from sprite
st+ tolkien tree creature
ohhhh I like the yu8!!
Yeah! You were right, that was the one. Thanks a lot, guys :)
Hurrah --then you're done and I'm done!
fireworks!!
WTG Kateq! *~*~*~%% FIREWORKS %%~*~*~*
Happy Sunday to all!

my phantom word matty, pundit
What a fabulous place to be! I'm near Heathrow on yet another grey day.

I'm not far from LHR either!
AJ, there's a link at the bottom of the page for angelsong's babble page, that has all the info you'll need
usually our weather is great here, but the last few days have been very humid
Where are you, matty? I'm on the Hillingdon/Uxbridge border. Hate it!
Urg - don't envy you. I'm in Hampton
how old r u guys
Oh. That's nice! I've bought a house in East Finchley which is being renovated. Then I shall be near Highgate, my favourite place. Walks on the Heath. Can't wait!
Old! I have a teenaged daughter.
How old? Ancient! Only four years till I officially retire, but in my game (writing and editing) you never retire.
Finchley's gotta beat Uxbridge. I used to work in Park Royal - the Armpit of London.
i could have had a teenaged daughter!
You can always borrow mine!
You sound really young, AJ. What does the coach reference mean? Do you coach a team?
wat bout u franmag
i'm going to be 40 this year
no in (41)
Ah, that was a lovely age to be. i was in my prime then! Single and met loads of men!
I have another year (just under) to go for that.
thanks matty, but my daughter will be a teenager soon enough!! she just turned 1 on sunday!
lucky u!
Hah - mine'll be fifteen on a week tomorrow.
i turned 41 today
happy birthday AJ
My daughter is 37 but I never saw her grow up. She was adopted in the 60's, when my boyfriend left and my parents wouldn't have me home. But I found her last year and I'm still reeling. She's gorgeous.
PS. Happy Birthday, AJ. Have a great day.
Hydra, that's great (about finding her) - do you have grandchildren?
that's great hydra! that you found her that is
dont adopt u may get sick and die
joke
joke
I shall never forget the day I had the phone call to say the tracing agent had found her. And when she rang me for the first time, we talked right through the night. Magic.
hydra, how long hav u been playing this game
Can't remember. Since about November, I think.
hydra Wonderful that you found her but sad that you missed all those years.
I only became a pro member a couple of weeks back
thats so sad
Frances, thanks. Yes, it was sad and I thought about hr every day and wondered how she was, what she looked like, if she was happy, if she was even alive. I feel very lucky now.
were in the world cup i love soccer
AJ, how old are you really? 14? No offense, but you're not really coming across as a 41 year old.
i was just thinking the same thing matty!
hydra So pleased for you. Make the most of it - you have a lot to catch up on
same here hydra, it's really nice to have things turn out well
is it really that bad just to like soccer?

hydra, that sounds like a right laugh :)
AJ, I am your age!
It is, Katie. I have to tell them the best sex day of the month!
14?! Hah! Anyhoo...Hydra, which mag? And how do you get into something like that?
admit it your dying to tell them the whole month will be rubbish!!
hydra So come on, tell me (nobody listening). Do you make it up?
ur 41
Fiesta. Yes, Katie, you're right! But they sent me on an astrology course so I could sound as if I knew what I was talking about when i said Mars was trine Uranus.
now can't do the grid for laughing :)
give or take a few years!
Reminds me - I keep wanting to type fettish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
LOL Frances
Well, I typed Fista and had to correct it!!!
hehe
hehe

It sure is.

hi alien
Hi, Alien. How is it in space today?
ha ha...it's going quite well.
thats wat i was just going to say hydra
Babble telepathy
I'm on 192 too!
I have to concur, stidmama -- I couldn't play last week AT ALL because I have a problem with my elbow from too much Babble... so I had to lay off for a whole week. Yesterday's was short, so I justified it. On the other hand, it has been a week ...
Sorry - Only joking - I'm on 0
Hope you're elbow's better. It's my index finger that's suffering.
how old r u
Lickety - Sorry I asked mrp if there was excitement about the world cup but I suppose you are the one getting excited :)
licketysplit?
Oh well, I have some excitement - as with most of the general population - but I did play 2 games of soccer today
I am excited!! sorry katie! I am up all night watching the world cup AND the french open tennis! PITY ME!!
oops - This weekend I mean
AJ - I'm a coach too! Under 7's
At least we are lucky this year and it hits our timezone, so much easier than having to schedule all meetings round the matches.
yeah - We have most games at either 3am or 5am, some at 1am, and the rare one at 11pm
I have a friend that bet $8000 on Brazil to win.
What!! no way! England to win!
at the time I think he got 7-1 odds
I know they are good but that is a lot of money. I never bet on the football, I am fantical enough about it without money riding on it as well.
And he's an Australian - but parents from Yuclosavila (like might ignorant spelling! NOT)
I'm not sure about England winning, I know our team is good but there is usually a missed penalty somewhere along the line :(
Yes, I don't bet on anything either - MUGs game. ;-) The variety of soccer around the world is incredible. I think Brazil will win. Ever seen that video of :
Ronaldinho http://www.break.com/articles/ronaldin ho.html
Morning Lickety!
Evening Matty. Hows goes it?
Not too bad - well for me 96 without your ever so wonderful list (though the list will be coming out soon)
hehehe - That's what it's there for ;-)
I'm working on a way that it saves your list in case you refresh
Now that would be good - how bout if it saves your list if you leave work, go home and then log back on at home :)
and you won't need to log in. Just cookies. Unfortunately - it'll only work on the computer you where working on.
Darn! :D
I don't want much, just everything LOL
the other option might come later - but it needs me to link sites, and I have to explore that one first :-)
matty, I tell him that everyday!!
Better go now, I've got visitors coming (thought I note they are online at the moment), see you all later :)
Heh. I tell my husband that, but he ignores me. Or puts it down to PMS...
night katie
Night Katie!
Puts it down to PMS! Let me take him out!! I will show him what 'high maintanence' is!!
(whilst it is 11 am in the morning I have to admit to still being in my night clothes :))
HA!!! Men should know how PMS affects women, but never, ever mention it!
Yay! 100 words without the list...
I've just developed a new product for Women called 'Everything'. You can use it any time of the day, and any time of the year. All you need to to is to open the container it comes in, and take a deep breath and close you eyes, count to 10. After that, what you wanted initially is gone, and you have everything again.
Ha!!!
licketySplitAUS Just checked out your Ronaldinho clip - amazing - and I'm a cricket fan!
AGH!!! Re's!
ruttied
oops
Eva Take out the I
thanks frances-have it, was getting desperate
Frances - I know - 4 times off the crossbar - No wonder he was voted no 1 player in the world.
Right, 103 words...time for the list methinks.

any hints for those of us troll ignorant?
night mrp!
Go read Terry Pratchett's Night Watch, or Guards Guards or any of the watch storylines from Discworld. Alternitively, visit www.lspace.org, or, for a more conventional method, use the reverse dictionary and find a word that means rubble
thanks matty-just thinking about rubble some more did it
Read the books anyway - they're fab. And fun. And all that.
still missing 5 8's though
I have read a few things by Pratchett and they were fun indeed

It's certainly a more user friendly grid than yesterday's! I'm in and out a bit this morning as I'm cooking lunch.
This is a better day. How are you going?
haz your not the only one.
I'm on 143 at the minute but I'll have to go and set the table soon. 9 for lunch and the table is supposed to seat 8.....
there is only 2 of us thank god.
Well, a few more words found but this isn't getting the chores done. I'll be back later.

Congrats. I'm only up to the e's.
Well, I've only started on the list - I've got 118 left, just filling in the blanks now. DR here I come
I've got 138 left.
I'm on the f's. No ferrets, no ferries. Huh!
Dr done - onto du. Why oh why do I let this obsess me so...
I wish I knew, too. (Sighs)
morning guys!
morning, smokey
Have mercy, I've only one left, yet it completely eludes me -- anyone have the ti 6/27?
Melissa - It's a hat.
Not me, sorry. Morning smokey!
boob + not agin
anyone got the de 8s?
de8/50 hated
One means rubbish.
melissa, did you get the ti word?
it's a very odd cockney word for hat
I'm afraid not. And the words I am trying are quite lewd, I'm afraid.
It's rhyming slang. "ti6/7 tat = hat"
boob + sounds like what PETA is against
good afternoon everybody
Une - It isn't odd, it rhymes with the word it means.
Hi jean.
:-D it's odd for us Yanks
Hurrah - my favourite babblet word (actually, it is a real word, and I even know what it means) is there - et4/5
Une - I guess so.
Matty - Thanks for the needlecase. Hadn't spotted that.
I'm so embarrassed. I'll keep trying. You poor nice Brits. Thanks for trying to give the Yank a hand.
Jac, I didn't mean "odd" in a pejorative way
melissa--first half = boob, second half = the stuff that animals have all over their bodies and that people make coats from (but use a different vowel)
Morning, all... how goes the grid today?
FIREWORKS!
Melissa - Think of a saying that means 'to give as good as you get'. It is a bird word/bosom word + another word that sounds like a pine tree.
yay, Melissa!!
congrats melissamay and morning jera
WELL DONE, Melissa!
Good gravy, and I swear it's been in the puzzle before...I think I'm Babbled to bits. :)
Morning, Jera. I'm at 190 found. No list used yet.
Une - I know.x
Thanks so very much all -- anything that's driving you batty that I can help with before I go?
Doesn't sound too bad, then. Jacula... but then, you're good... hmmm...
How about en6/18 (no doubt simple)
Melissa - I went batty years ago! LOL.
en6 complete, total
Think of the whole thing, mattygroves.
Yep - too simple for words. I am a certified moron.
I see the 'Stid' family is in the grid today.:-)
No, no matty -- I spent a good 10 minutes right before this hunting for something with an s for a plural. It happens to us all!
Can't fool anyone again in this grid, I guess...
Oh no... lag time...
Am I still here??
morning, Jera
Jera - Yes.
:-D
Whew... hi, charm... I was worried there...
Unea, love the dog. what kind is it?
Jera, no you did not disappear into the ether!
Ok, then, I'll shove off -- but thanks again to you all for helping me with that last lovely Cockney bit! Best of luck finishing!
Bye, melissamay!
it's my sweet Shelby--rescue dog--"terrier mix"--i think that's the default description for lots of dogs! :-)
Question for the day: If one does not babble, does one exist?
'Bye melissamay. Enjoy your day.
bye melissamay
Une, I have a rescue dog, too, and the big ones' default description is "shepherd mix."
Thanks, Jac -- enjoy your evening. :) Bye Jera and Jean!
aren't rescue dogs great? My other one is a "beagle mix"
I have a rescue dog a deaf labarador
oh, labs are so adorable! I had a cocker for many years who was deaf--amazing how well they adapt, eh?
I have a cat mix. OK, I have a cat. My family used to have Komondors, though.
Mine is 5 yo in July. And he is a 80 pounds of puppyhood. He is wonderful with the 4yo, always patient, always willing to have fun - just the best temperament. Although my husband brought him home, he's MINE!
sounds terrific, charm!
it is isnt it uneaixoise it was hard work to start I had him from 5 months old and hes 12yrs now and hes a fab dog
matty, what are komondors?
Thankks Une. You just gave me another word!
Heh. Try googling - they are VERY unusual looking dogs.
Are those the one that look like they have dredlocks?
Yep - the big ones (Puli are smaller and often black)
oh, i've seen those before--can't imagine the high maintenance! :-)
Look like giant floormops! Lovely though.
I've written reviews about them - check out www.ciao.co.uk or www.dooyoo.co.uk - I'm mattygroves there too - the Ciao review has piccies
probably would be miserable here in Tennessee--too hot and muggy in the summer
cool--will go look right now! BBL
We had a retired K-9 for our family pet when I was little... German Shepherds are still my favorite of the "real dogs". For toys I like poms (I think).
He wasn't exactly a rescue dog, but he could no longer work, so he was adopted for home life.
mattygroves Wonderful. Looks like a well bred mop!
are there any words eending with ly??
how many words in today's grid?
269
269
thx
Rolin - I've got 2 that end in 'ly' so far.
oh dear.. thx jac
hello, Babble!
am off out now bbl everyone have a good babbling day :)
Hi, Angelsong.
'Bye, Jean.
Hi Angel!
morning, angel!
matty, do you have a personal website?
Did this dog talk with terrier almost being in the grid?
ense
Wrong box, Rolin.:)
Nope - but I have spaces on Ciao and Dooyoo, and I can be found on www.opinionators and reviewwritersforum. Plus I've dabbled on Epinions. Why?
oops...
Well, I'm taking a break with 150 to go... nice first leg of the journey... later, all...
because there is space for links to Babblers' websites on the Resource page.
Rolin - Just found another 'ly' ender.
Oooh- I could put my Ciao or dooyoo profile up...
mattygroves Check my new icon. This is Rizla the vizla. Weimaraner/Hungarian Vizla cross. Very affectionate. Needs about three hours running a day.
But in the meantime, can anyone help with fi7/40? and the 6/27 before it
... and another 'ly' ender.
matty: if you will e mail your links to me, I will add them for you...
Gorgeous dog, Frances!
cant keep up jac...only have 2
OK - on their way! What's your email addy?! Bet I can find it on your page
mattygroves He is wonderful. When three year old granddaughter was new born the only thing he was guilty of was very gently removing her socks without waking her. They now adore one another
Rolin - I'll give you a chance to catch up as I'm off for some food and a break at 203 words found. Clues - de7/40, ri6/33, te7/36, tr7/36.
Thanks, Jac!
BBL. Happy Babbling, all.x
Oh frances he is great I have a wire haired Viszla, and as yet I have never seen another one. I also have a smooth. You are right I spend hours walking them.
harvey Ours doesn't know the meaning of walk. He just wants to run....and run. We would love to see him race against a greyhound over a good distance. Don't think the breyhound would have a hope.
Snap,
harvey Is yours affectionate. I've never known such a dog
harvey By the way, where are you?
http://www.ciao.co.uk/Member__mattygro ves_5025486
The wire is very stand offish with people and dogs. But the smooth, oh my goodness he loves everyone and shows it with far to many licks, and lots of cuddles. I am in exotic Peterborough for my sins, but originally a Geordie.
harvey We are in Essex and he loves running wild in Epping Forest
yesterday should be in this frid
grid
not frid
Take out the day...
I know, I figured that one out.
Shame we were not nearer they could tire each other out! Anyway must finish hosework before hubby says are you on that ***** babble again. Take care
I'm now struggling with the fi words, but probably shouldn't be. How about the fi7/40?
You too harvey. Bye
Matty, I dont have that one, but did you get the really hot ones?
I've got three hot fi words. One treelike word (or fuzzy alt spelling), one that works, and its variants
Do you have the one the you wear what FI**?
Yep. I need 5/16 and fi 4/7
Got the four seven
pluralize it.
Got it now - thanks!
matty, yes, my e mail is on the resource page, under Contact in the sidebar. I just put it back in.

Its more than trite its
That means I'm gonna have to go through the ENTIRE log....

thanks---I will look there. I was using the bottom one.
thanks rolin & featherbee
move left, then double back to the right
Anyone got the t on the bottom? It's killing me!
more like tee pees
its a person who loves camping.slang
thanks featherbee
yup, yw
what about the other one for that 7?
not sure what you're asking jbp!
Erm, still ain't got it
ktf, do you have the te 4/4? that is like a tee pee? add three letters to that that make it more like a tee pee
one who goes head to head could be a ....
ktf..a campling item +ie
featherbee - that doesn't come off the bottom t --- that's what she is looking for
I think I have both...
oh wait.....that's the wrong T!
They keep scoring under the middle t's
i have that bottom T, trying to figure out which word it is
*grin* No worries. But that bottom one! Everything I can think of is another t!
is there something that is tet?
yes 2 words
not the plural of that though - it came off the left
the bottom t is also like one who sets trials for, but change the 3rd letter to t
rhymes with more boog
more good, i mean

ok, found it, i don't think it's that one jbp..you mean the one like more annoyed?
Thanks guys!
Any of various skin diseases, such as eczema, psoriasis, or herpes, characterized by eruptions and itching.
it's like good, *****, best, except use a t for the first letter
is the derfinition
how about the lower d next to it?
i have 8 out of 9 of the bottom D, which do you need?
i have 8 of those as well...
lol, we're probably missing the same one
to mar a car, past tense of that, plural of it, to make some one 2nd in command (sort of), past tense of that,
places where cubscouts meet
thick or not too bright
in the manner of thick or not too bright
those are my 8 of 9...
yep, looks like mine
hi all
please tell me those aren't the same as yours featherbee
;-)
i'm working on the de's right now, will tellyou if i get it
lol, sorry!
you have the de 5/22?
weh
i'm monkey typing as fast as my monkey fingers will go
nvm, got hte 5/22
*I*( think that to be more marred (as in a car) should be a word...
what's the 5/22??
de6/27?
ktf Did you get the bottom T?
ok, i must have it...the box just grayed out on one of your words...let me see
5/22 is from the top D, means to make godlike
angel, think of the eric clapton song about the sherrif and just don't ad -y to the end of it
I did, thank you
got the 5/22 thx
so featherbee... it's all up to you (drumroll...)
places where cub scouts meet, more thick, more thick as an adverb, mar a car, past tense of that, plural of that, sherrif one singular, past, and plural
Afternoon all! Fireworks!

hi. the bottom t is te6/18. It uses three t's.
yay Jen!!!!
hi Jen & yippee!!!
There have been some great clues today! I love that I can display the whole chat log in another window!
i know, they went 7 and 8 crazy earlier!
ah, thanks featherbee =--whew!!

yay!!!
ok, gotta put son down for nap, bbl
i'm at 139 --gotta do some yardwork...hope to be back later. ;-)
Bravo Jen! I didn't know we could display the chat in another window - I'm going to have to try that.
can't get the sheriff's assistant de....help?
Yeah, MM, if you click on the square above the chat, it opens up a whole new window with the chat log
Excellent - I'm going to try that!
I shot the sherriff, but I did not shoot the de.... (but change the sometimes vowel to the 2nd vowel)
I am missing 2 8's...I have 2 de's, 2 re's, 1 se, 1 st, and 1 te. what are the othe ones?
Have all the d words done. Wow there were a lot of them
maybe I am missing 3 8's
there is an es8 means "To change or cause to change to an es5"
fe8, pl of the fe7
re8, past tense of re5
Hello again, all... how is everyone today??
{{Jera}} How you feeling hon?
Hi Jera doing well. How are you?
Quite well, thank you, down to only 2 naps a day!
I might even venture to tak en actual bath... the dizzy spells are down
un8... un + te6/21
Been playing Feeding Frenzy a lot...
jera - that sounds good. I hate dizzy spells
What's feeding frenzy?
Very scary, especially when driving!
It's a yahoo game I've become obsessed with up to level 37!
Uck, I'm stuck on 89
that dumb et4/5 trips me up every time. Finally found it
The needle case one?
have to go break up a sibling fight. Brb
yes jera that is the one.
I blacked out once when I was driving... lost about 10 seconds of my life! Had to have an EEG after that one!
That's bad, jen...
Hey do you guys have plans tomorrow? We're grilling!
what is it you have jen is it virtigo?
Yeah, turns out my brain isn't normal, LOL. I stopped having normal EEGs after I was in a coma for 3 days
Yikes, you win, Jen!!
You didn't have your son with you, did you?
We aren't allowed to grill at our apt., Jera Fairfax fire rules. :(
No, this was when I was in college
I'm back. Why won't children just go to sleep when they are ti5 instead of fighting?
And I was in my coma when I was 11
Jen - could you clue me up with the fe7 & 8 combo?
That would be too easy, mm
My biggest fear is my health problems would cause injury to my kids...
LOL no doubt. Hannah stuck her tongue out at me which got her in trouble. While she was crying Sarah starts yelling at her -yeah that helps!
fe7 means Iron that has not combined with carbon, occurring commonly in steel, cast iron, and pig iron below 910°C
jen said a word!!!!!!!!! at 11:19
You guys are welcome to come over if you like... our area is clear of construction & we have a lovely newly paved driveway!
hey, the chat log/firefox problem has been fixed! lovely....
ty, jera, and the es6 & 8?
Oh yeah, you can't grill without fi4/7...
Sorry, I mean ty jen.......
Woops... sorry 'bout that! What time Jera?
what problem was that Angel --- the script warning?
Movieman are you getting me & Jen mixed up again?
Nope, just a slip of the finger!!!!!!
Ummmmm... afternoon? We are pretty casual, but will pick a time for guests' sake...
no, MM, for a while after the site change, the chat log would only partially display in Firefox. now, the entire chat will load.
Need the es6 & 8 now......
Oh I hadn't tried that. I keep getting a slow script warning after I finish the grid and then half my words disappear from my list -- makes it hard to clue
I would scream if my words disappeared...
es8 means "To change or cause to change to an es5" (which is a common chemical in Babbledom)... it's like an alcohol, or sort of Madonna's Kabalah name
mm, send me an e mail, and I can forward Dr G's suggestion for fixing the script error.
And Firefox keeps kicking me off Babble and making me re-log in... I am going to head off for now. Jera, I'll be on tomorrow morning or you can e-mail me... also let me know if I can bring anyting over!
Great thanks Angel. Bye Jen
Got it, ty again jen.......
Sounds, good Jen!
YW!
I'm outta here! Have a good SUnday all! :)

aaah so the list is mistyped?
rolin, it's also an aerobics class that was VERY popular in the 90s
no
the 5/10 before it has "lower" letters in it.
the clues are in order of the letters in the word, not the points

Anyone care to assist me with the bottom u and the bottom t plz?
Hi, gem_gem... I like your icon!

movieman - for the U, think of N Ireland...
ty, mm & sherb..... I was gonna try that Irish one, but I didn't think it'd work.......
some people have larger body fi++++ and some have smaller or pe++++ ones. Then plural the word
13 t's to go..
Nope I need the one before that. It comes between the plural writing instruments and the 5 prefix
sorry, I guess I need that one too. GOtta go for now though. Have fun kids

I'm glad - I realized what I had done as soon as I hit return

thanks Jera.. I take it you can see Titania, and not a young Harrison Ford... :)
Oh... either one, LOL... but I was talking about the fairy...
where do you live now hydra?
Temporarily in UJxbridge. I've bought a house in E. Finchley which is being done up. Then I'll move. It's a sort of sideways step, trying to make some cash to move back to Ham or High!
Hmmm... I refreshed but still see Titania...
hey where are those te clues. thats all I need, te 7/48 2x te 7/28 and te6/18 Please
te 7 48 = to scare badly or to be a witness in court
te 7 28 is more cranky

I am trying so hard these days to manage without reference to lists. So far I have 182 and struggling
i made it listless yesterday :)
Well done you. Something for me to aim at!
You guys are great! I got down really far yesterday. TOday I caved when I had about 98 left

Hi BGL -- how are you? Im going to be going soon - hope to find these last two words
Not bad. Just finished making items for our picnic this afternoon. Thought I'd take a stab
it really isn't too bad -- lots of related word sets
musicmom st7/32 an editing word
st7/32 - make your preceding st4/4 past tense
music, ti 6 is like the phrase ti* *** TAT
Thanks Haz - now why didn't I htink of that.
ti6/27 is an English term for hat. Bird type plus iron related word
musicmom ti6/27is cockney rhyming slang for hat

Sounds good. We're going to Jeff and Brenda's don't know what time we'll be back I may just have to try my best
okay - give me a minute to get them together
gwenski - the se8 sounds like a six-piece girl group.....
gwenski, it's a singing group of 6 people, with a french-ish ending
the rubbish one is DE + syllable that sounds like silly or meaningless + you and me, objective case
Those were great clues. Thanks. I'm still working on getting the words, unfortunately.
can someone please help with the fe that means and iron compound. I am still have trouble with that
Ooh! Got the rubbish! Still looking for the end of the singing group...
sounds like "all's **** in love and war" + rituals, as in the priest giving last *****
The first part is three letters, referring to iron. The remaining part of the word can be used for ceremonies and is a homonym for right.
nrkii, that was a great clue. Thanks

Okay, I've been trying to get the se8, but apparently my brain has shut down. Could some one give me another clue?
FranMag Remember seeing a wedding in the Fern Grotto a few years back. Very beautiful.
smith, it's an alternate spelling of the se6/33, group of six
where is the fern grotto frances?
Okay, got it...Thanks, Fran
if you have the 6/33, make the ending french
FranMag On Kauai
we do weddings in Oahu, i'm sure that wedding was lovely, kauai is much more lush than oahu
by off-island i meant the couples come from elsewhere, destination weddings mostly
in fact, we're doing a wedding for a couple that lives in England next month
FranMag Took my son (when he was younger) several times to feed the fish in Hanauma Bay near Diamond Head
I've never been to Hawaii. I feel very deprived.
would you believe i haven't been down there Frances? every time we want to go the parking is full!
me, neither, smithchick :-[
smithchick It is truly beautiful and each island is so very different
smithchick, you should come!
sounds like you're well traveled Frances.
oh, that plane fare thing...
I'd love to... Unfortunately, it won't be for a while. All the money is going to go into the new house we're getting ready to build.
I consider myself very fortunate. I worked for the wonderful (noe defunct) PanAm for twenty years so was able to travel the world
Frances, did you ever go to Guam? PanAm flew there for many years
What's really ironic is that my hubby is a pilot. I don't even think he has traveled to Hawaii, though.
smithchick, after your house is built you'll have to take a vacation
I've been to Guam! HAH! And while in Guam, we went to Palau for a week and then to the Phillipines for a couple of days.
lol smithchick! his airline probably doesn't have a route to hawaii
can ne1 help me with fe8/55?
No, never got there. Did manage places like Fiji, Samoa and Tahiti in the Pacific
After my house is built, we'll be living on peanut butter sandwiches until the old house is sold. Hopefully it won't take long.
Can I get the third letter for the un 8/50 not housed?
Hubby flies corporate. He spends lots of time in Antigua and St. Croix.
rexy, it's the plural of fe7/40, has to do with iron
boa, think of camping shelters
fe8/55--an iron product -- plural
See, I was thinking that, I just have not found the right combination of letters. Thanks.
Frances, when my father was alive and i was very young we traveled a lot, i've also been to Samoa, New Caledonia, Nauru, New Hebrides
I am still stuck on es8, te7, and de8 meaning rubbish...can you help me a little more? Thanks.
fe 8/55---fe+double cons+3rd vowel+cross letter+2nd vowel (plural)
jeewhiz, it's not rubbish, it'
it's rubble
Ahhh, got it. Thanks FranMag.
FranMag That is the one thing I miss about working - the super perks!!!
jeewhiz, which te7 do you need?
the one that has something to do with what you do in court. Which de do I use for the rubble? I am totally lost. thanks...:)
same here Frances, the job i had not too long out of college was a buyer and i went to Italy 5 times
Hubby used to fly for a company that would let the wives go sometimes when there was room on the plane, so I got to go to Cabo San Lucas a couple of times. When I was young, my father was in the Air Force and we were stationed in Spain for 18 mos. I went on a jewelry buying trip to Acapulco and Taxco Mexico. That is the extent of my travels.I've led a very sheltered life!
top left DE
Oh Italy. The shoes, the bags and everything else
jeewhiz, the te7/48 that has to do with court is what a witness does on the stand, or in church sometimes people do it too
yes Frances, too bad the job was eliminated in my region!!
can i et help with un 8/50?
I'd love to go to Italy...and Paris. Hubby came home from a trip to Paris and informed me that it was overrated. HMPH...I'd like to go and find out that is is overrated my own self!
Thanks, finally got the te7...I was going the wrong way, had the word, but was blind to finding it...
Know just how you feel
te7/48?
smithchick
LOL
Angelsong, that is the one that was just clued for me. Look below.
jeewhiz, the de8/50 has a latin ending and means rubble like the kind that collects at the bottom of slopes
there is also a te7/48 that means to scare
un8/50: un+thing you sleep in when camping+2nd vowel+bad grade in school
FranMag, because I am still clueless, can you please tell me the third letter? PATY
Jee - try this
Okay, I need a dummies clue for the es8 please!
third letter is S
dummy's I guess that should be.
de+3prefix+per***sis (a vaccination kids get)
have the te7 for court...need the first te7/48
smith, es8/65 starts with the es5/10 that is a chemical compound and ends like the te7/48s
adverb of stress angel
angelsong, to scare horribly
Thanks again, Fran!
re 8/60? Anyone?
smithchick ed8/65 es plus ghe te7/48 but drop one R
ah ha!! Finally got the de...thanks for all of the coaxing.
es+cross letter+2nd vowel+re 5/20 minus e
To be measured for a dress again...(Someone's clue from earlier)
rexy, to be measured for a dress again
Got the es...Thanks!
I got it! Thanx Franmag
great rexy!
isn't that just the strangest word smith??
anyone else need a clue. I am done with nothing to do.
Very strange! I wouldn't have monkeyed that one...I'm still trying not to use the list.
For the nu's...I've got nu4x3, nu5, nu6x2 and nu7...What am I missing?
I guess that many things can be "ified"
you need another nu5
smith should be two 5
2 nu 5's
smith, do you or your sister scuba dive? is that why you went to palau?
Thanks...Hey, Alien and musicmom, by the way!
hey -- i'm kind of in and out but will clue if I see the request
hi musicmom, there's an et5/14 for you today!
could I maybe have a clue for the last? de 8 I have the one that means you hate something.
I saw that Fran --- almost drove myself crazy looking for it too
I was certified and she got certified after doing a beginner dive. She just wanted to go while they were in close proximity. My mother was there visiting and I got there, then we flew with my sister, her hubby and three kids. Swam in the jellyfish lake, snorkeled, dove, toured, shopped. It was gorgeous!
My brother-in-law was certified, too. It was beautiful diving!
yes, it's beautiful. my mother is from Kosrae at the other end of the island chain, it's kind of a unknown destination for divers now
phandmd, de + syllable sounds like a word for trivial or silly + you and I, objective case
We pretty much stuck to the beaten path...
de8/50 means rubble that collects at the bottom of slopes
hi all by the way
nrkii!!!
she's back!!
smith!!!
de+cross letter+another way to spell right minus last letter + last vowel +plural letter
yeah, I went off to do the NY Times sunday puzzles
you found one then
Where do you find them at?
That sounds like fun if I ever finish this...
I ended up subscribing online, because this is the second time I couldnt find one in my town, and I got aggravated -- plus it's cheaper to get the online subscription
it used to be in our paper in Guam, but the ones in Hawaii don't have it!!
nrkii-- since I started babbling I've been neglecting my NY Times Sunday puz-- I miss it!
when i was single it was part of my Sunday routine
can't lay around in be any more!! :-(
having hard time with de's how about the second de7/44 please
liberabel, it took me till Thursday to get to last week's!
How much is an online subscription?
in bed any more
(because of babble)
for just the puzzles, one year is $35
Know what you mean, Fran!
that's for every day
speedfreak, appointed, as in sherrif's de****, but past tense
Hmmm... tightwad hubby probably wouldn't go for that right now. I'll have to conjure up an occasion for a gift!
you can get a 1 month subscription for like $6 I think, to try it out and see if you'd make use of the full year
Or wait for him to leave next week!
nrkii-- last week's --nelected & unfinished...:-|
de+what you do on the golf course+man's name
just think of the beautiful home you're going to have smith!
fran - who is your icon?
actually, that was a bad clue.
liberabel, last week's was a nightmare
musicmom, he is a musician, an accomplished bass player, started with a group, now solo
funniest part of last week's sunday times puzzle was that I couldn't get the French city name, even though I had the N and the Y and it was MY NAME!!!!!
how funny nrk!!
I was so embarrassed for myself
thx Alien Got It!!!
He looks like a young Frank McCourt
music, he does!
the writer?
nrkii, they can be maddening until that aha moment! :)
yes. I just finished reading Teacher Man. Had previously read Tis and Angela's Ashes.
musicmom, do you want another clue, or do you want me to tell you?
the only problem I have with the online one is that I really enjoy the paper/ink experience
I know who FranMag's icon is :|
music, it's ST 5 / 14
I'm thinking
don't tell libarebel!!
Thanx for the de clue, I was thinking that was the word, but I couldn't find it at first
of course not, willie!
and I don't mean the ST 5/14 in today's word list!
oops :D
phandmd, when that happens i just type the word, there is no penalty for guessing! or typing the same word over and over again for that matter. ;-)
no, not willie
Hmmm...does that mean that there is an st5/14?
yes smith!
but it's not the icon fran has
yes there is smith
what genre fran?
Don't tell me the answer yet...
I'm off to search!
in the group they played pop/rock, now his style is more jazzy
one of the marsalis brothers plays in his backup band
I don't know Stewart Ham?
no, he goes by one name and it was his nickname when he was little
okay tell me
(st 5/14 musicmom)
it's Sting aka Gordon Sumner
AHA! I should have known that ---- I could have even come up with is real name.
AHA! I should have known that ---- I could have even come up with is real name.
Float like a butterfly, ST 5/14 like a bee!
float like a butterfly, ***** like a bee-- mohamed ali
libarebel --- he he!
wow, nrkii--great minds do think alike lol!
LOL you guys -- now we are cluing words that aren't in the grid but answer other questions. Serious addictions here
hey, and I even figured out how many points a G was, even though it's not on the grid!!!
I know --- impressive<G>
well, who do you thinkI am? (icon)
Dang it...Can I get a clue for the st5/14?
sounds like a short mean nickname for not smart
smith, it rhymes with the st4/5 up to a door or porch
I think you're libarebel....
a dumb person is called a st5/14
sortof here at the moment, sort of not... hi musicmom...
but actually means: A hot, wet, often medicated cloth used as a compress
i know who libarebel is!!
Well I really hate it when I got it and didn't pay attention to the fact that I had it and keep looking for it!
hey stid!
Or something like that...Hey, stid!
I don't know...
I know you do, FranMag--maybe we could jam & entertain.
give her clues libarebel
Bono
libarebel's persona today is the one I had confused with Fran's earlier
I was in a rock band once...
presently alive libarebel?
Fireworks!
Paul McCartney
I like bono
we could if you weren't deceased, or do i have the wrong person
YAY ANGELSONG!!!!!!!!!
aaaarrrgghhh--paul!
yay angelsong!!!
Bravo Angel
walrus
YAY, Angel!!1
ringo?
yes, Fran-- jamming can happen even if you've passed, I think...
do we have the right band?
a fantasy jam session? or creative editing?
I think I'm cuter than that Starr guy...
lol, Fran, maybe both :)
begins w/ 10th letter of alphabet...I thought I was famous!
John Lennon
yes, musicmom!
ok, back, with 47 to go
Wow, libarebel...you were a lot cuter as a little guy!
and starting the dreaded REs
Hey featherbee... still struggling to find 31.
LOL smith
hey smithchick :)
alas, smithchick :)
I was too lazy to go icon hunting.
I guess I'll do that now, since I don't seem to be finding any words!
sorry, had to take a call, a music survey of all things!
me too smith - I spent my time finding words
told them my favorite artist was sting of course
when i have time, i do several day's themes at a time and save them with the date
with these huge grids i haven't been able to do that!
the REs aren't toooo bad today featherbee.
ha, easy for you to say! i hate em
feather, the funny thing was i found the longest ones first and had to go back later and find the short ones!
oy vey, i'm missing obvious ones here!
like the 4/4, i just got now
sounds like i'm doing the same thing
brb, have to feed baby
It's alright feather, I HATE re's!!! :) Do you need help?
working on my last one...gimme a few minutes, if i don't get it, i'll ask!
this is give me a dolor de la cabeza
YAY Angelsong!
Hey stidmama! How are you this evening?
doing okay -- we are out of water -- something failed in the electric system for our well and the people who can fix it aren't available this weekend (of course).
ok, re 6/21...i have the one you do with ugly sweaters at christmastime
rewrap? regift? re re?
Yikers! Is it in your whole system? i.e., unable to flush toilets?
feather, sounds like your pe 6/24
lol, no stid, not regift! you go back to the store and re**** them
retch?
lmao
oh! LOL...
got it nrkii, ty!
okay, i'm back, you guys are so funny!
anyone close enough to race me? i'm at 41
stid-why do things always fail on holiday weekends? Sounds like a good excuse to check into a luxuxry hotel(-:
stid, of course it happened on a holiday weekend!
still have 78 left feather, so no contest
darn eva. stid??
if only! but we can use my parents' shower and laundry when we need, they're only a few miles away.
smithchick may want to, but she went to change her icon
80 left featherbee -- how about we race to when I get 40?
and then Eva and I can race also!
lol, or i can go clean some more and come back, which is probably what i should do anyway
Hello everyone...
that would even us out a bit!
you and eva race, let me know when you get to 40...i'll keep watching the chat as i windex
Douglas! hi! are you still in Scotland?
hi douglas
i'm back in the USA
I'm going to have to stop for a while-down to 76 now. see you later alligators.
Okay, sorry I lost you guys... Hubby called (and no, he doesnt have tomorrow off).
later Eva...
was scotland fun Douglas?
punter
later eva!
Scotland was wonderful...I have pictures up af Flickr
seeya eva
hi douglas!!
sorry!
good weather?
How was the haggis? :)
They were basically waiting for summer to get on with it. Unseasonably cold and gray.
I had a plate of haggis, neeps (rutabagas) and tatties (mashed potatoes), with some whiskey and onion gravy (that helped)
oh, that's too bad. The pics of scotland in nice weather are quite gorgeous...
nrkii, we whupped the deblogs good!
which helped? the whisky or the gravy?
Oooh, sounds yummy! (and I am not being sarcastic!! I loooove haggis!)
I give up on the icon...I'm not going to change it.
yes we did douglas!
Oh, I didn't make that clear...it was gravy, laced with whiskey and onion
I know what haggis is, but never ate it.
Either way, it sounds good!
It does sound good.
The ultimate testimony to Scottish thrift and frugality!
my husband is Filipino, we know about thrift and frugality when it comes to food!
I think the key to haggis is that you don't think too much about what you are eating
That's true...
tony bourdain ate it on his chef's tour, it looked good to me!
I love Filipino food!
Yeah, Fran, but he also ate raw blowfish as well. LOL I love him as a very down to earth chef, but I don't trust his taste sometimes. :)
smithchick, what have you tried and where did you try it?
Mmm, pancit!
jen, i think the dangers of eating fugu are overrated
I had some chicken adobo in 2002 in Makati...yum!
i eat chicken adobo at least twice a week
I've got a good friend who is from the Phillipines and she has cooked for me a few times. Pork adobo, and some noodle stuff whose name I can't remember. She fixed some stuff with tomatoes, cabbage, spinach, onions, pork, and tamarind in it. Yummy!
have it over rice with frech cut green beans
but, i would still make sure it came from a good source!! the fugu that is
pansit, lumpia
it's all good
Yeah, Jen...Ponsitt is the way it looks to me.
I actually don't eat anything raw, as I have an intestinal immune disorder... anything (toxic or not) could be deadly for me.
But I think that's what it is, pansit. Good stuff!
today's grid was wonderful, if a trifle redundant...
i see why the raw fish episode didn't float your boat jen!!
I've added some new content to the online resource pages, fyi.
we like adobo, I made some last week. We also enjoy mole (chocolate, of course!)
Yeah, it kills me to order steak medium in restaurants, but I can't take any chances.
and the time zone map was great when I needed it a few hours ago! Thanks Angelsong!
love your resource pages angelsong!
different kind of adobo stid.
is it?
I made mole sauce once and it wasn't all that good, so I stick with getting that out .
What is pilipino adobo like?
well, my neck is killing me. I'm gonna have to break out the list.I've still got 31 to find.
yes, filipino adobo is kind of a stew flavored with vinegar, black pepper, bay leaves and other things depending on where you are from in the phillipines
I love the citrusy flavor they put in a lot of things.
Delicious fruit is in abundance in the Phillippines, and sold on every corner
Latino adobo is definitely not the same kind of seasoning as filipino... both are good though!
oh -- I see! I would like to try that sometime. There is a pilipino restaurant nearby, I will see if they have it.
if you are talking about geography and the country it's phillippines
i'm sure they do stid, it's a dish made all over the phillipines
if you are talking about the people and/or culture, it's filipino
:)
FranMag, I have to ask ... who is your icon?
i'm going to have to find out why that is smokey
do you want clues ch1212 or do you want me to just tell you?
oooh, clues please!
sorry, filipino. of course.
Gotta have lumpia stid... it's the filipino version of an eggroll/springroll... out of this world!
see if they have shrimp sinigang, my son's favorite
if you can get some babinka or "shoopow" both are awesome
okay ch1212, he is a musician, was part of a band that was big in the 80s, but he records solo now
okay, will have to do a real restaurant run son, I can tell!
Hey Fran, just read your profile and you started playing on my 11th wedding anniversay! :) (just thought I'd throw that our there)
"pilipino' is ok too, stidmama. P and F are pretty much interchangeable in Tagalog.
Gordon Sumner?
Ah, thought I recognized that cute grin ... is it Sting?
the shoopow is like a jelly doughnut, but with meat instead of jelly and the donut is more like a roll
that son should have been soon...
what's funny is most of the dishes you are all mentioning are adapted from chinese dishes, filipino cuisine is adapted from all over southeast asia
how many words?
yeah
269 words today
and spain from the conquering world domination times
lots of filipinos are of chinese ancestry, and spanish too
guess ch1212?
So... FranMag, is it Sting? And I used to live in Hawaii as a young girl, in Kailua on Oahu.
Hi all, back for a little while, un7/36?
you got it ch1212!!

I lived on Oahu for three years.
Beautiful.

Thanks, FranMag -- he is one of my all time favorite artists, and humanitarian.

I'm trying to hold out, but I may still get the list. I'm waiting for other people to ask for clues I need!
if it's the ut5/14s you need, one is to say, the other is plural of womb
smith, is there any tile where you want help, so you don't have to go to the list?
FranMag, OMG, don't know how I missed that one, un5, thanks
Thanks, Fran...That was the last u I needed!
peri, i had to go back and fill in a lot of short words that i had longer forms of!! the long ones were more obvious today i think

The first one I have feather is the plural of the number
just got it
featherbee, it's something you use when camping
there's one before that, it's like someone te*** a secret, but minus one of the double letters
pe7/32 - writing implement + ending of ul word
feather, I think what you want is the plural of the unit of the decimal system
thanks for the help anyway!
TY, feather!
hi hetty!
HI, hetty:)
hello hetty!
thanks Fran for the pe. :-)
yw!
Is there a dr4? I've got two dr5's, a 6 and a 7.
Hi, everyone! I'm just starting with a real handicap, having been preaching and cavorting all day so far, But I want you all to know I have introduced a friend to the pleasures of babbling, ad she's even older than I. Look for her on the log--she's jillibeth and she lives near to me on theis beautiful island
i HATE pe words... how about the pe 5, 6, 7 in the middle of the pack?
LOL, hetty. You say that as though it is a near impossibility!
smith, you are missing a dr5
Good to see your son in the log too,Stid. Now I must knuckle down to finding words. . .
Jillibeth is a wondeful, fun name. I will definitely hope to see her in the chat log.
Small without the last vowel, small with the last vowel, and plural. Do you have those stid?

It's okay Fran... You've given me most of my last 15 or so:)
can someone clue me in on the t on the bottom?
shirin, a king of egypt, plural
hello hetty :0
I think I have that one. I am going by the grid and I need a t from the bottom row
oh, that's what you meant!!
sorry for the confusion
Could be the vietnamese celebration, shirin...change the vowel in the king of egypt one.
give me a second to figure out which one it is
te4/4
done with the P words, 42 to go.
Go stid!
I'm still missing four pesky p's.
go stid!!
theere are six te words that start from there, basic meaning of canvas coverer sleeping facility
oh crud, 269? i don't think now is the time to start.
i think that is the one shirin, that smithchick clued
hi leslie!
you can probably do it leslie, it's not that awful
Hey, Leslie!
I was trying to finish w/o the list, but it is getting too hard. Thanks anyway
LeslieAnn, if anyone can, you can!
hrm, i still think i am gonna wuss out. i will see you all at the flip, though!
leslie....come into the grid....don't be afraid...
Okay, I've only got five te's that have to do with the canvas.
(quick exit as to not be sucked in) ;)
okay, see you later!
*great sucking sound as LeslieAnn struggles to get feet out*
Bye, Leslie:)
later LesliaAnn!
smith, you probably don't have the 7/28 that can't possibly be a real word, but means more te4/4y
I have that one...as well as the 4/4, 6/21, 6/18 and 5/10.
there is another 6/18
I am down to 39... going out to dinner, will be back later.
Got it...what a dumb word!
one who te4/4s and one that sounds like an adjective form of te4/4
Later, stid!
later stid!
bye stid!
smith, do you have the te6/18 and 7/28 that sounds like what you do with a ticket stub?
are both de8/50 words from the same root?
no harjane
or is the last one a totally different worx?
Just got them, Fran.
make that word?
they have the same first 3 letters that's it
you're good smithchick!!
My monkeys are good!
do you want a clue harpjane?
1 de 8 is the past tense of de6/21
thanks, that helps. I
I'll cogitate a while before I ask for a clue. i only have 9 left so I'm in good shape.
Good word, harpjane...I like cogitate!
I'm in & out here --trying to paint a room & babble too :-[]
I'm down to 10. One r, one s four t's and four p's.
go smith!
oh heck, give me a clue!
de8/50 is another word for rubble
How come purdier isn't a word...Haven't they been to the south?
de8/50--rubble, sounds like inflammation
lol smithchick, i lamented about that earlier!
yes, we even know purdy in boston...
smith, there are two p5s that come in between two sets of 6s and 7s, never thought they were real words!
it's a word, just not in old english or whatever language enable speaks!!
LOL, Fran!
thanks!
yw harpjane, great word, huh?
Enable speaks limited English, I think...
Okay, based on your clue Fran, I think I'm missing a p7...I have the one that girls are more of than boys (just ask any mom whose daughter has had a sleepover with more than two girls).
i hate the Ts
It's a pe7/32...the third one that I have.
too many bleepin choices
Well, that's the one I have, I mean.
I'm with you, feather...
smith do you have the pu7/36 that is something you do during construction?
hi pepz
Yes...I've got a pe7/32, pe7/32, pe7/32, pu7/40 and pu7/36.
those are all the p7s
shut up
Hmmm... Well darn.
ti 6/27?
hi freckle
Yeah, what featherbee said:)
lol smith
now that's a strange word, ti+t+what dogs are covered with, but change the vowel
sounds like the lead-in for a bad dirty joke!!
lol, got it fran, and you're right!
what's a ti****?
TY!
that was my set-up for the joke, btw, not a real question!
problem is, i can't think of the punch line!
That ti is slang for a hat
ed's HELP!!
What, feather?
thanks angus!
"Q-what's a ti****?" "A-some smart mouth reply"
I have four r7's. Is that right?
jacula told me that earlier also, didn't think you and smith would know it though!
just can't think of the reply
yes smith, 4 r7s
Are there also 4 s7's?
yes smith
Wow I just got fireworks. The first time I've finished a grid without lists and it is three in the morning! Time for beddy byes. Nite all
That means my missing 7 is a t. YAY, Frances!!!
yay frances!!! good night
Night, Frances...congrats on no list!
9 T7s
have a tr 7/28 at the bottom of the list smith?
Thanks smith. It was a long haul
I do...I have two tr7's.
tu7?
I know what you mean, Frances. I'm down to 6 but without help, I wouldn't be able to do it.
that tu 7/44 is more tu 4/8
Yes, I have tu7/44.
must be a te7 then
te7/28?
It is from the t right in the middle of the grid.
te 7/28...more snippy
te 7/48, do in a court
It was the more snippy...TY feather!
yay!
what else smith?
Are there any pn words?
no
I've got one four letter word, one five letter word, and three six letter words. A p, an r, an s, and two t's.
do you have the pu4/6, virginal but change last vowel?
tr 7/28 please?
Yes, I do...
tr7/28, most tr5/10
tr7/28 the most tr5/10.
how many p7s do you have again?
I've got all my 7's. I have 18 t4's. Am I missing one?
which 5/10? there are 3
The last one, feather
gaahhhhh.....
I have six p6's.
you have all the t4s
Is that a good gaahhhh or a bad gaahhhh?
bad gaaaaahhhh
lol
you need a p6
it works me into a corner, i can't pluralize it or use the "more" ending
14 r4's.
The most ending, feather
feather, start with t on the far left
Hiya everyone.
Hey, Jacula!
i am...gahh
hi jacula!
Feather - that tr word you seek, it means the most over-used.
you have all the r4s
ok, i must be looking in a rut...starting fresh, from...now!
Then I'm missing an s4, I guess.
got it, wasn't thinking of that ending combo, was using the other more common one in this grid
13 s4s
I'm here to clue. Can't sleep; damned nightsweats! It's my age, you know! LOL.
Well done, featherbee.
Yay, feather:)
two se4s
one sl4, one sn4
Anyone who needs an s4 needs to be a little more specific...
6 st4s
Is that a clue, Jac?
i'm listing them for smithchick
3 su4s
she thought i was asking for clues smithchick
a su** of clothes, to start...
sl4 - rhymes with something that sticks stuff. Sounds like past tense sl word (not in this grid) meaning 'killed'.
Well, I have all those. Curioser and curioser.
Ah! I see a list is being made. Let me know if help is needed.
Jac, I commiserate about the hot you-know-whats. Once they're over the good times will begin, I ptomise. Could you kindly clue me for the di4/5 and the di5/12?Darned if I can see them on the grid
my eyes are probably crossed and i'm not counting correctly smith!!
ul 6/21?
ul 6/21 is a county in ireland or a raincoat, rhymes with gun holder
ul6 like the irish city
Dang. I don't know which 4 I'm missing. I'll save it for last.
I'm going to work on my missing p6.
Hetty - my Mum's in her 70s and they still haven't stopped, and a friend of hers who is 84 still has the dratted things!:-(( Mine only started about 2 days after my 49th b/day last month.
i'm blanking on any irish cities right now
i think it's a t4 smith, do you have 3 T4s at the beginning of your Ts?
Hetty - 1st di4/5 & corresponding 5/12 have to do with losing weight.
Yes, I do. I'll count them again.
jac-mine started about 15 years ago! The herb black cohosh, has been very helpful. But I sure know what you mean about the slsseep disruption.
Featherbee - for the ul word, think of a painful stomach sore and change the middle letters a little. Sounds a bit the same. The real word is a man's overcoat + another name for N. Ireland.
Feather, UL + what you do with the spoon when you add sugar to your drink
feather, remember the copier room guy from saturday night live? he made stupid nicknames for people...the ultinator, the ulman, the ul**** first star is an ess
Eva - I am trying the herbs etc., when I remember to take them.
I've got 18 t4's. 13 s4's. 14 r4's and 10 p4's.
Jac, I have those. it's the second pair I'm missing--before the third letters become r's and t's
the black cohosh can take a few weeks to reach maximum helpfulness
got it! the copy meister! that did it for me
and that was my final one, yay!
YAY FEATHER!!!!!
way to go feather
yay feather!!
WooHoo, featherbee!!!
I thought was too old to awake sweating like a sumo wrestler in the desert wearing a wetsuit...
Hetty - 2nd set of related di4 & 5 are terrible, dreadful, calamitous!
Hetty, think di** consequences!
ROFL, Liba!!!
libarebel-I'm 56! Enough already!
:OD, smith!
me 56, too!
for the life of me I cannot find the tu7. Does it really exist?
Well, from all the sweaty ladies here I would imagine a deodorant seller could make a fortune, as could an air-conditioning salesman or a portable fan seller. LOL.
It is furrier, Eva.
i keep coming up with the same numbers as you smith!! my eyes must be crossed!
tu7 a tu of cloud, but even more so
Eva - tu7/44 = more tu48 (like a squirrel's tail).
or blankets that automatically remove themselves, hover above the bed for 5 minutes and then come back
Having more hair sticking out here and there.
I have those too. Help, here we go again. I have 4 wotds (3 4's and a 5) whichbegin with r or t after the di. And, Eva, take your tu4/8 and make it more (don' forget the intervenig third vowel)
thanks!
I've refreshed and everything. I think I should probably just get the list out.
LOL, re the blankets or duvets, Eva. My o/h thinks I've gone mad; one minute I'm cold and snuggling up, next minute the duvet's flung back and I'm fighting his loving embrace away.
smith, what are you stuck on?
dute
oops
I'm missing a four, a five, and three 6's. An r, a p, an s and two t's.
My ob/gyn has assured me I am unlikely to be the first woman in history to never reach menopause. I'm not so sure anymore.
Hello, Jacula-- yep, the sweats & chills
Hetty. Next di4/5 is filthy. The one after that, wit a related 5/12 is to prepare for action (but sounds like French for 'speak')..
there are 22 tes
8 tis
I didn't get the big M until I was 54... lots of luck!
there are two strange P 5 words that end with me/myself/* - have those?
9 trs
and 10 tus
Hello Libarebel. I seemed to have touched a common nerve here with we ladies.
liba-I'm already 2 years past that! Slowing down a lot, but not done.
indee, jacula, lolol :-[]
I give up. I have the french-sounding sing and pl. The "filthy" clue doesn't twig for me--I have the 4-letter word that rhymes with"tire"
hetty, do you have the "giving up food to lose weight" ones?
12 pes 15 pus
well, Eva, maybe don't get pregnant... :-D
Why can't we just have the same 'problems' as menopausal men? Bad dress sense, silly medallions, a roving eye, an open-topped fast car etc? LOL.
ROFL Jac!!
Thanks, nrkii, I do. They are at the top in Licketyd lst. I'm missing 3 and 4in that list
bite your tongue liba!
19 re 13 ri 9ru
Well, the p I'm missing is a pu.
Got all the dang r's finally.
I second that, Jacula!
I'm missing two te's.
I have no idea what s I'm missing.
ouch, Eva :-[]
5 se 1 sl 1 sn 17 st 8 su
Hetty - the filthy one is soil, or what you need to clean your house to remove.
It's an se. Okay... I have two se4's, an se6 and an se8.
okay, so the list goes like this hetty: giving up food, plural, rhymes with tire, more of that one, what you get under your nails when you garden without gloves, giving up food with letters transposed at end, plural, drop the e.
6 te4s 3 te5s 6 te6s
Who wanted a pu word? How long was the word?
smith, do you have the te that rhymes with what you write to a friend and mail?
I think it is pu6, Jacula.
okay-speaking of sleep disturbances, time to go to sleep so that I can still get some before waking up at 4;15 or whatevr ungodly hour my body decides is enough.
I have three pu6's.
or the te that rhymes with the little sleek animals people sometimes have as pets
Yes, I have that one, nrkii.
missing se 5/14 smith
night eva
Bye, Eva
pu6/39 - cleanse
se 5/14 is a compound word
brb, have to give baby a bottle
Thanks Jac. I suddenly saw it. Onc agai nI have the filled in wordsin the wroing place on my list. All O'K' now, thanks all

You will, angus_prune! You will!

Also got the pu!
pu6/24 - one who hits a golf ball.
Down to the two t's. A six and a four.

Eva - Sleep as well as you can. Sweet (not sweat) dreams!
"thing you use to do to a golf ball" i assume that isn't a clue for shot the bloody things into any body of water within sight?
TY, TY!
lolol, Jacula!
elmer, there are 6 te4s and 6 te6s, do you have them?
thanks Jacula! You too.
I'll be needing a great big fish for the te4/4 that I was missing.
But, Eva, sweet, dry dreams ;-)
lol bonkler and smith
night libarebel
so where are we now smith?
Not the te 6
Bonkler - Oh dear! You sound like just the same kind of golfer as myself.
However. I discovered at 18 that I was that kind of golfer, so have not played since.
I have one more...a te6.
I don't even play putt-putt well!
i have a magical ability to make golf balls seek water. even if there is only one puddle on a fairway, my second shot will find a way to spray me or require scuba assistance.
TE 6 ... how about the diminutive name or cute nickname for what you use as shelter when camping
LOL, bonkler!
Bonkler - can you video that for us?:-))))))))
te6, did when camping (teepee), person who does this when camping, adj describing the teepee?, one that sounds like another word for weasel, got quizzed, one like good, be***, best, but with an L
Yes, I think I have all the canvas ones.

I'm challenged today, it appears. But at least I'm not suffering hot flashes!!
amen smith
love those campsite shelters, lol
It's blowing a gale outside, your canvas cover has finally uprooted itself from the pegs and ropes nd you are lying there shivering and wet in your sleeping bag. LOL. Sorry! Real-life experience made me type too much.
Can I help anybody before I go to bed with my patient hubby whose race ended long ago?
LOL, Jacula...Been there, done that!
Erm.. Smithchick... how can we help you with your hubby?
What's especially fun is when it blows away and you have to run through the rain chasing it!
yay smithchick, i see everything got sorted out!
Smithchick - misread your last post. You want to help not us to help you.
You can't help with my hubby...Sorry Jac, I just don't swing that way!!
I can handle him all by myself!
maybe i could help with hubby, mines riden his cycle to AK
LOL, Jac.
Smithchick - re the rain and wind thing re canvas shelters... I almost got carried away over the Welsh mountains trying to hold one down to fold it.
can i have a clue for the 63 words i need...lol
un8/50de--tepeed
Hey, karob...where are you in AR?
HEE HEE, Jacula!

Are you trying to get rid of me nrkii?
Is it cause I ask for too many clues?
I'm still here. Not sure who else is though.
yes, exactly (sorry, thought you just threatened twice to leave us, and didn't want to miss the opportunity to say good night)
:)
Went off to chat to my son and then came back and saw lots of goodbyes.
clue plz.... ur 4/5 ???
who wants to play... cheer hurshy up
karob, what you keep ashes in
I DO!
ur4/5 - large vases or receptacles for human ashes.
I DO!
whats up hursh?
jac - that's not going to cut it...
Hey hursh...CHEER UP!!!
fruit jar??? i'm from AR
Oh, Hursh! You're not still playing the guess which words I need game, are you?
ooh, I stuttered -- I see folks do that time to time, and this is my first time
LOL!
nothing is up. everything is way way down, that is why i need cheering up
Oh, and hi everyone
I like to threaten several times before I actually leave, nrkii...
no jac, i was just saying that things about dead people's ashes are not very cheering.
I'm still here
smith, good to give folks lots of warning so they're prepared!
hurshy, how can we help?
the menu includes:
supportive
can i talk to huby??? did i mention mine has been gone 2 wks??/
supportive silly
i dunno - it's just nice to see you all and have company.
I stuttered again!
silly would be good :)
Mine leaves for two weeks every two weeks.
hurshy, lift up your sweet head.
see, that's hetty being supportive
supportive is good too.
where does he go??
hi, hurshy
silly is a tough order, may take the chefs some time to fully prepare
hi libarebel - you went back to being a girl?
hurshy did you hear my litany of all the folks who showed up for my fire situation last night?
oh, well, i'll eat anything, don't go to any trouble :)
fire situation?
I can't remember who was online for the saga
hey all
Hursh - actually, that things about dead people's ashes not being cheering isn't always true. My Mum and I watched a thing called Booze Cruise III on TV the other night... all about a group of people journeying to scatter someone's mother's ashes. It ws hilarious. Hursh - it's not so long since my Dad died. I'll tell you a story about that and his ashes in a moment.
yes, hurshy, i agreed w/you!
my carbon monoxide detector went off last night, interrupting a perfectly lovely session of babble
well nrkii, i've been offline for 7 hours (a record for non-sleeping time for me)
Hmm..--maybe a joke, hurshy?
after some internal debate and a quick phone call to mom for a sanity check and kick in the ar**, I called the fire department
but you didn't feel pressured, libarebel, i hope
they sent:
karob, he goes to work out of state.
i will take a joke (oooohh go on nrkii)
3 cars, flashing lights (2 cute cops plus 1 fireman)
Will it cheer you to help an old lady find a few de's? I don't have a joke' I'm afraid. Not even about ashes
2 fire trucks (another 6 or 7 firemen)
!!
and ...
Ooh, cute cops are always good nrkii!
the YOUTH RESCUE SQUAD!!!
!!!!
my hubby rides from AR to AK once a yr to meet friends
nrkii! What have you been up to?!
sure hetty, i can help with your de's, do you have all the barney fife ones? (3)
hursh, you're crackin' me up!
at least 20 of my neighbors came out to their porches and sidewalks to watch the show
did you hear about the grilled cheese sandwich that went into a bar and ordered a beer?
it was about 11 PM when this started
In the Booze Cruise tv programme, a lady said to her hubby (who had never liked her mother), 'You brought Mother's ashes home in a CARRIER BAG? ON THE BUS?' This reminded me of my Mum going off without telling me to get my Dad's ashes from the local undertaker's...
hetty... just read your profile... where in England are your relations?
A good time was had by all, nrkii!
At home in her bed, cathy...
and about 11:45 or even later when they finally left
karob, i grew up in AR
ha
Sorry, it's the loopiness that bonkler was talking about.
that was joke/riddle for hurshy
no, libarebel...what happened coolness nrkii!! jac - my probs don't begin to compare to yours, ((hug))
which part of AR?
Ping, where in AR?
My father always called me Ann Miller when I was a kid, because every time I told a story, I made a big production out of it. This was my masterpiece of big productions.
wynne
northeast corner, near memphis
it was very well done nrkii
i do know where that is... where r u now?
the bartender said "we don't serve food here"...
houston, tx ... you?
hahahahhahahahahaha
long story short, no carbon monoxide issues, but I should call them again if the alarm goes off again (not bloody likely)
Well, we've got sw represented, central represented, and ne represented!
You pals sure know how to make a canuck feel stupid. I don't know who barnet fife is when he's at hoem. And I was born in England close to Jac's home in Worcestershire. Oh saucy Worcester!
15 mi. N of Txkna
lol...
lol nrkii, really, that is all very funny, and you said you didn't have a joke
'Will you walk a little faster?' said a whiting to a snail./'There's a porpoise close behind us, and he's treading on my tail.
is that silly enough to dd any good?
well when the sheriff needs to make someone he has to de6/27 them
(what's a whiting)
Mum brought Dad's ashes home in her shopping bag with a loaf atop. (Well, she needed a loaf and he always did like a slice of bread with his gravy.) However, on he way home (when her arms were acheing and he was thinking, 'He was never this heavy in life!') someone stopped her and asked, 'How's your husband?' It's a small village we live in, most folks knew he'd been in the last stages of senile dementia & Parkinson's Disease for a while.
Well, this time I mean it...I have to go...hubby will mope otherwise. Night all...Be happy, hursh!
Anyway, Hursh, the de's I don't have are de6/27, de7/44, and de7/40-the ones lower in the list
termite walks into a bar...says, "is the bar tender here?" Get it? bar...tender...termite eats wood? :) Doesn't work as well written
hi mab!!! how are you? how are things going? should i get on chat (i'm at my parents, i was going to download it tomorrow but i can do it now if you want)
the good news for me is that I got to chat with two very attractive law enforcement officials, and spend some quality time with my neighbors too!
yeah hetty that is what i was cluing you...see i gave you another clue there...
wassup, that is very funny in a very stupid way!!!
lolol, wassup! :-D
Girl walks into a bar and asks for a double entendre. So the bartender gives it to her.
lol wassup, i like all kinds of humor except crass, so i appreciate such punnishness
exactly! I'm full of 'em!
:-)
ohhhhhh
well, then there's the horse that walks into the bar...
Anyway, my Mum resisted the urge to reply to Dad's wellwisher, 'He's in here!'
3 legged dog walks into a saloon and says "I'm looking for the man who shot my paw..."
My favorite is always the tiny pianist.
jfarber, I've been waiting for you to come back online!!!
and the bartender asks...
that is a funny story, jacula
((((jac))))
LOL. Back after a long trip north to see the inlaws. Got trapped in a streetful of morris dancers.
We Still don't know whether we should laugh or cry over that story, but we laugh because we know my Dad would have found it hilarious.
(((mrkii)))
"why the long face" --lolol :OD
Good evening, all. How about, a man walked into a bar and said, "Ouch!"
love it janiece
jfarber, I grew up in Springfield MA!
you're in Monson?
haha liba
Monson -- middle of nowhere.
jac, that is the best sad/funny story I've heard
And I teach middle school in wilbraham -- home of Friendly's.
jfarber, What were the morris dancers doing? Celebrating ascensiontide?
hilarious, all & TY!
hilarious, all!
i like that bush there jfarber
Thanks, Wassup. Unfortunately, I've got a million of 'em!
I'm very very familiar with Wilbraham -- nieces and nephews there
Not sure, actually -- mostly hopping up and down, jingling (Ithose ankle bells), and saying ":whoop!"
jfarber, I am in easthampton and I can almost see nowhere from here.
and grew up 2 miles from Wilbraham, in Sixteen Acres section of Springfield
Ah, the famous friendly's bush.
me too, my dad is the jokemaster (self proclaimed). He starts out all of his jokes with "true story". That's how I know it's not
you mean the sign on the Turnpike?
you know the great barrington one? my husband is a packer fan so he likes that.
finally done, need any clues
Nowhere is where we live, indeed -- cows live across the street, we abut dam land (all that Damn land!), and the other day we found baby turtles in our yard.
nrkii - You have to find the black humour in life/death - it's the only way to survive all the sh4/5 it throws at you.
Yeah, that bush, I assume.
my dad's stories don't start with anything particular but they all end with "gangrene sets in, off comes the leg"
wassup--lolol
laughter through tears is often the best laughter Jac
odd dad, Hursh.
oooh! baby turtles!!!!! how cute!
yes :)
nrkii your fire story reminds me of a fire story of mine from college...
They were quarter sized. Neat wee things.
LOL Hurshy. My dad always says "back in the navy". He never served in any military...
jfarber,where were the morris dancers?
Hursh - re the life stories thing.. there's no competition. No one's story compares to another's exactly, but what happens to each person affects them no less.xxx
Nature lives here. We just visit the ONE bar in town -- Lady Sally's Salloon, which says it all, really.
do tell hursh
This is all reminding me of my own dad, who used to say when his spine was hurting he thought he'd have to have it out
oh come on, Monson's not THAT small!!!
8k people in a town most people never see? Literally, one bar.
BUT -- written in capital letters & turned upsidedown, MONSON spells NO SNOW.
wow, i live in a city with 10 thousand more people... :)
well my sophomore year i woke up one night, and wasn't sure why i'd woken up. i pulled back the curtain and looked out and saw fire trucks and flashing lights. thought nothing of it, fell back asleep. next thing i know a fireman in full gear is busting my door in yelling "what's the matter with you? didn't you hear the alarm? get out of here!" (i believe it was merely one of the burnt micro popcorn fires as it turned out, so he was really being overdramatic i think)
LOL jfarber
hi babblers! : )
my father tells this great story about his grandfather, a Scot and a drunk, who had a glass eye. Old Jim Frazer used to go pick fights at the local bars in Hartford CT, and when the other guy would say, "let's step outside" he'd answer, "give me just a second" and he'd pop out his fake eye and put it on the bar!!!!
Unfortunately, it does snow here.
clue plz, 1st, te 4/4 ???
Hursh - you had a fireman full of adrenalin and in full uniform in your room and you just told him not to be a drama queen??
but jfarber... if you write that in footprints in the snow... the space-time continuum might be in danger
Hursh, we used to just turn up the stereo very loud whenever the fire alarm went off in our dorm.
jac - i didn't tell him anything, he scared me half to death! i meekly got up and left the building.
Hursh-- you were scantily clad w/ a firman in your room?
The only good story I ever got out of my father was about him acing the sharpshooter badge training so he could get a 3 day pass to make the stones concert in NYC.
nah, i wear t-shirts and shorts to bed.
easthampton upside down says 'help! I'm a city person and I've got to get out of here!'
Hursh - But you are older and wiser now, should such an event occur again? LOL.
Only if you stand on your head, hurshy
ooh, lala! :-D
LOL, mab.
I like easthampton. Pretty old mills, good barbecue, and a great fish joint.
te 4/4 things that give away your poker hand, minus one of the double consonant
nrkii, that reminds me of when I got home to the dorms one morning after having snuck out the night before to hang out with my boyfriend (christian college) to discover all the rooms empty with alarm clocks going off everywhere. No one was in sight. There had been an electrical fire in the basement and the dorm had been evacuated. I thought...rapture...
And, um...that's where the annual beer festival is, isn't it?
Great Grandpa Jim Frazer used to also play the numbers game .. .and when he'd stumble home drunk and without money, my great grandma would give him a piece of her mind. At which point, he'd put up his index finger, weave back and forth, and say, "When I win my 10,000 dollars, you're not going to get one G** D**ned cent.... well... maybe I'll give you a buck."
no shortage of cocktail spots in easthampton
Oh yea! Clues! I came here to give them. Not my fault I got distracted by black humour and fully-loaded firemen.;-/
lol wassup - my dad thought that once when he was a kid and came home to an empty house (he's one of 9 kids) and a sink full of half-done dishes, the poor thing.\
Temple, a belated HELLO!!!
those firemen do ring my alarm! :-D
yes, hi temple, just jump right in, it's crazy night!
hello to all...i finished already - just dropping in
Am now singing some awful song from the 80's called 'You Can Ring My Bell'. No idea who performed it.
hubby just got home. see y'all later
(someone pass me today's total, will you? First time hitting 150 w/out licketyclues, but I was curious to see a percentage)...
Well, my husband, who always helps me with these, tells me that he quits! We only have 163 words and he says there's no way there's a 100 more! So, good night, all.
LOLOL, Jacula!
269
night, wass
OY. thanks, hursh.
Night Wassup & Jan.
g'night quitters (haha)
Hiya Temple.
And if anyone has been following my Great Grandpa story, I'll bring it home now. When my parents were newly married, and broke, my father put some money in an office pool. My mother gave him a bit of a hard time, and as they were going to bed, he suddenly said to her, slurring, "When I win my $10,000, you're not going to get one GD cent! Well... maybe I'll give you a buck." My mother was terrified because my father had never told her the story!
I'm buckling down in tha OTHER data entry field -- over there under the yelow boxes...
oh nite, wassup & jen :)
k janiece...enjoy your evening
lol nrkii
night wassup and jen!
ok i have a joke!
night jan
nite wassup
go hursh
a man's walking down the street and another man comes up and introduces himself, saying, "hi, i'm pete. you're the last person in the world that i've had to meet - now i know everybody in the world."
mietress....are you home for the nite / morning????
and, hurshey...
Hiya, Ren!
naturally the man is skeptical of pete, so he stops some passerby and asks if they know this man
I am home, yes.
I don't care about finishing the grid today. tell the joke, hursh.
On home soil, so to speak.
"sure," says one, "me and pete go way back", "of course i know pete, says another"
k - didn;t want the dawn to catch you!
Let's listen to Hurshy's joke...
after this happens several times the man is getting more and more perplexed. how can pete know everyone in the world. he challenges pete by taking him to various states but in each he cannot find a single person who hasn't met pete
hmmm...
finally they end up in vatican city. surely pete doesn't know the pope, he thinks. but pete goes right up to the pope and the pope greets pete with a smile of recognition and a hug.
Let Hursh do the punchline, please.
shaking his head in disbelief at pete up on the stage with the pope, his neighbor turns to him and says, "hey, who's that guy up there...
...next to pete?"
O_o
Go on...
LOL Hurshy!
that's it.
hanging...
Okay, my favorite recent joke, taken from a site where previously-offensive jokes were de-funnied (and de-offensed): How do you confuse a blond?
Don't get it unles it's a Jesus joke.
bada boom...
a: paint yourself green and throw forks at her.
...with pete? ha ha ha ha
i don't have to explain the pete joke do i???
I could explain it, but it'd make the joke less funny. Better to leave it stand.
Yes, nrkii, st4/4.
though it's tempting to explain it because it's funny!
ah, how i love earplugs
pete has more groupies than god?
well...than the pope
it's funny because the man thinks for a split second that he's finally found someone who doesn't know pete, but he DOES know pete but not the pope
Wait, Pope who?
well gang - 5 minutes past my bedtime...see you tomorrow! happy babbling!
;-)
hey, I had a harry potter moment today ... I was weed-whacking my lawn in back yard, and suddenly a torrent of spiders went scurrying out of the grass and across the stone path into the neighbor's yard ... made me think of chamber of secrets and all those spiders bolting
night TO
lol... oooh nrkii!!!!!
I thought that by giving th end of the punchline I was explaining
and I HATE spiders, so I was just as glad to have them relocate
i could have had a harry potter moment but i refused to go near the sn5/18 (not in today's puzzle, i'm just scared of even the word)
i gave the end of the punchline, right after the beginning of the punchline. did people not see it? oh what a disastrous joke teller i am
I saw it Hurshy. Not sure what the sn 5/18 is though.
nrkii, generally i call them "BCs" (bad creatures)
ohhhhhh
not a fan of those either
even just the two letters "sn" together are kinda freaky enough because of BCs
by the way, during my lengthy description of last night's theatrics, did you all catch on to the fact that the YOUTH RESCUE SQUAD came to my house (in addition to the 2 policemen and 8 firemen)?
well i brought a student home today and his brother (also a student) has a PET BC in his ROOM. i did not go close enough to see. would probably have had a heart attack.
lolol, hurshey! my icon once got into deep doodoo for comparing hispopularity w/ JC. ..
pete's?
nrkii - are those youth who rescue people of all ages, or people of all ages who rescue youth?
ok wait a minute - what did i miss?
definitely the former hursh, lmao
I'm crying now, I'm laughing so hard.
is your icon john lennon?
lolol. nrkii!
oh yeah, today is before they were famous - didn't get a chance to do it with all the driving, and that is one of my favoritest of my theme suggestions.
yes, mab! :-D
nrkii is yours tom hanks?
well hurshy, I don't know about you, but after this last 30 minutes, I feel a lot better!
yes hursh
yes, i do feel better. i'm ready to go to bed now and there is now a chance that i will NOT cry myself to sleep.
thanks for all the cheering everyone. what would i do without babblers? nighty night now.
a very young TH , nrkii! :)
((((((hurshy))))))) At least you didn't get et by a BC today. Let's chat tomorrow.
I just keep giggling thinking, libarebel got in trouble because she said pete was more popular than god
hmm, i wonder if tom and his wife do the hanksy panksy
ok mab :)
nite, hurshy :)
{{{{hurshy}}}}
lolol, nrkii...
sweeeeeeeeeeeeet dreams
back in a mo, laughing too hard ... must get water
{{{all}}} and ty again
back now, sorry, got the sillies
Good night, Hurshy, Ther'es goiing to be a bright tomorrow
anyone out there looking for clues?
well, fr pete's sake I guess so... :D--clues!
me! me!
I need some 8 clues, I only have 2
jfarber -- you still there?
which 2 you have sleeky?
first two letters of them, please
the de and the se
okay, there is a YU 8 meaning christmas time
d'oh! how obvious!
jfarber? I have a question for you?
there are two de 8's, one means hated and the other means rubbish left behind
man, I can't believe I missed these!
I've decided since I'm only half way through I'm signing off tonight. I spent far more time on the chat log than in the grid, and I don't regret it one bit.
okay, 4 down. :-)
there is an fe 8 which is a plural of fe 7 iron compound
night hetty!
Before I leave, though, does anyone know how Aussieme is?
take hated, change one letter, examined again.
that's weird, I tried that one earlier and it didn't take
sleeky?
ya?
okay, two re 8's: examined again, and made alterations to clothing again
hetty, I haven't heard
christmastime
without temporary shelter
more unbreakable
hello, melonheadjujube :)
sleeky, that should get you to 7, and melonheadjujube has just hinted at the last one
oh wait, there's 10, right
you need the last two that melonhead hinted at
hi, liba - i'm babbling in fits & starts - too much puter aggravates my sorry arthritic neck.
oh, yeah - 10! i stopped at 8 too. time to hunt those other two down!
sleeky started out with the se and one of the de's already
oh, sorry, melon; I'm distracted too, but by painting a room
se i don't have - is it obvious - will i slap myself silly for not finding it???? :P
it's a french version of the se 6/33
group of 6 singers, perhaps
ooooh, found a racy music ensemble!
ahh, french - racier!
:)
as in Lucia di Lammermoor.
yup, w/ fr. feminine ending
how girlie can we get?
:D
okay, I have 8 now
there's also a 4/9 related to those two
sleeky, you have to remind me which 8 you have
a girlie as we want! :)
I lost track (sorry)
tx nrkii
I'm still missing the iron one and... not sure what else
oh, there's an ES 8/65 which looks like you are scaring the heck out of whoever ES is
(but drop an R)
the iron one sounds like the amount you pay a taxi driver F*** and not LEFTS
okay, not to be ungrateful, but that was the single weirdest clue I've ever seen. ;-)
sleeky, did you get it?
ES 8/65--es + scare the **** out of, but minus an r
thanks lib
not getting es 8 - i have es the chemical with the ---girlie name.
i'm just sitting here enjoying your clues nrk! loved the es8/65!
ooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh! minus the R. as in making es______
melon, add two syllables that sound like "** * were a rich man"
yes!
fran :)
you guys are all gaslighting me, I know it!
;-)
yw, nrkii :)
they are real clues sleeky! really!
sleeky, do you have a te 7/48 meaning to scare badly?
didle, didle, didle, didleidleeedleeedelee. all day long i'd diddy-diddy dum....
I don't
sing it melon!
but I think I can find it
well that one will help you for sure -- it has a double consonant in middle
okay, now I do
not gaslighting, just passing - - oh never mind
once you have that one sleeky the es8/65 will be easier to see
you'll be ok, melon
LLLLLAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
okay, so if you scare the heck out of ES, but you drop an r along the way
OH!
Okay, that is one hard word to clue for.
I have them all! Thank you!
cool!
if you drop last 3 letters, you'll get your ES 5, in case you don't have that one
Polly's sister in fabric, if you look at it a certain way.
zackly
sure'nuf
wait, I want to pretend to be one of the trolls...
'alo peeps, wassup?
yup, sis es***
yay, I hit the halfway mark
oops, should have said ola
for me, that's good. :-)
tadah, sleeky!
good going sleeky
afway's usually where i quit, otherwise i'd be frozen in this one spot.
theme for monday is insects -- going to put my new icon up now....
say goodbye to tommy hanks
Is everyone all clued up now?
I'm back, 39 to go and desperate.... had to have dinner out tonight, etc. etc.
stid, we can get you through these 39 with NO problem
yay, I have an icon!
et clues - & don't nobody tell me to phone home!
not that anyone can see what it is, but still.
thanks nrkii, I will go through my list -- i have to enter in ri and ru to know what I need next...
nice to see you sleeky
hi stid
sleeky, that's cute.
melon, et5 is french study related to music
I've always looked good in black.
et 4/5 is common babble word with two vowels on end
got it - just remembered it from the other day, et 5?
french music for study
damn, i just practised one of those! what is wrong w/mi?
re 6/33 please?
ri 6/33?
yes, rI 6/33... silly me.
adverb coming off ri 4/7
abundantly
ty, got it.
se 5/14 and 8/65?
Hello from a newbie already addicted by Hetty. Will probably be back tomorrow.
se 5/14 is a compound word - police sting would be an example
hi jill
99 left - that's enough for this underachiever. nite all.
got nrkii! thanks
se 8/65 is french version of se 6/33 group of 6 singers
well done melonhead! see you tomorrow!
night melonheadjujube!
hi jillibus! hetty told us about you earlier
welcome!
night melonhead!
Fran, your icon scares me. I can tell I'm going to have a tough time with this theme already.
i'm stumped by the UTs
Good evening Jillibus! so pleased to meet you!
ping, one is speak
the other is latin plural for womb
sorry nrk, i'm a scorpio so i picked scorpions
welcome to the dark side jillibus
:)
thanks, nrkii
nrkii, I am sorry, my babblefish is boycotting french this evening...?
stid, do you have the se 6/33?
yes, I have all the se but the 8
okay, just stretch out the ending on the 6, like you would with a small kitchen set called a DINET**
de oh! de duh! de fish please!
finished the s words...
22 to go
go stid!!!
go stid!!
okay, I need the first te 7/48 please,
scare badly stid
that's the first 7 - 28 isn't it?
nope, thats a 48
no it's a 7/48
first 7/28 is more like a shelter at a campsite
I have a te 7/48 - is there more than one?
jillibus, the other one is to bear witness in a courtroom
That's the one I have, durnit.
ty then I am missing the te 6 and the 7/28 that come after the one you just clued...
so the first one is to scare badly jillibus
rhymes with weasel like animal stid?
oh, those! not real words i think, te6/18 sounds like rip + it
Thanx nrkii, gotcha
ty nrkii... :-)
15...
jillibus, is that great dane picture your own artwork?
I need one of the first ti 4/5 -- I have the one that means to make a knot in
you have detergent, stid?
switch last two letters for ocean change
Yup, but slightly distorted here
it's beautiful jill!
I CANNOT believe I missed that, and thanks.
Thanks -- Danes are!
ooh, I'm getting so sleepy -- will I make it till the flip?
tr 7/36?
Is everyone all clued up now?
if you answer with remorse, you answer conTR*****
adverb of tr5/10
ty again nrkii!
(use adverb ending with tr 5/10)
and FRan...: -)
down to 8!
go stid!!
whoo hoo stidmama!
hello everyone
done with Ts...
hi aleksia
hi aleksia
hi, aleksia
What are you missing, stid? Not that I can help...
I am missing several Un words, but need to figure out which ones first...
anyone need any clues befoe I collAPSE?
I know I need the un 8 and the following 5 and 6....
I only have 2 6/24s
un 8 is when you go to a campsite and there are no shelters there -- its UN******
un4/14-- to put outside an enclosure?
yes, I have those, ther is a un 5/21 that takes the last letter off the un 6/24s...
I meant un 5/14... urg.
UN 5 after that is what you do to your shoelaces before you take off your sneakers
got the 8,
that un 5, 6 got me a couple days ago, too! *pouty face*
no, that was LACE a couple days ago
right... I thought so! LOL
stid, whatchagot left now?
the ut 5/12 that is not speech?
latin plural of womb
thanks again...
I've just come back to see whether my pal Jill has plunged into the chatlog and there she is! Everyone, I want you to know that I mistakenly said she would be calling herself jillibeth, this dear friend of mine,
ut5/12-- plural for womb
2 left....
It's okay, hetty! we adapted! :-)
hetty, she made it, and we haven't put her through the initiation rituals yet
yet......
I have the ye 6 and a ye 4 abominable snowman... just the other ye 4/6 and I assume the ye 5 is its plural?
omigod, what rituals????
ah-ha-ha-ha-ha (evil laughter)!
take what renfield just wrote, and double last letter
and it WAS! I doned it again! yippee for me....
nice timing ren
YAY STID!!!!!!!!!
jillibus, the rituals won't start until after you have your first fireworks....
we have only got 7 minute left
hey nrkii......
THANK YOU nrkii! and Jacula, I know you're out there, you helped a lot earlier... (and Fran, and all the little people)
wtg stid
. . .but actually please meet Jilli oops. Stid you're nothing if not adapable. You'll see what rituals tomorrow jill--hope to be a part of the hazing.Meantime, good night all. Tell Jill how to negotiate the flip!
Whew! That'll be a while yet(t)
I wish to thank especially the elves and the leprechauns, without whom this evening would not have been possible....
stidmama gives her awards speech
*bows right, bows left, bows center*
*backs up and trips on train of gown...*
lolol, stid!
jill, in about 5 or 6 mins, the screen will flip over to tomorrow's puzzle
jillibus, we get a little silly toward the end when we've finished...
ready or not here comes the flip
when that happens, stand by and be ready to type into the chat the word "flip" or any variation on that you can come up with -- then ...
Bow and wow to stid!
and this is important...
move your curser to the ADD WORD box before you start typing in words
and when "The Flip" happens your score is over and the whole word count and all reset to zero.
because there's always one person who doesn't do that
and it's often one of us who think we know better...
but be prepared that at some point you will be in the chat, and you will type a word guess in the chat by mistake
and we will all forgive you
once
:)
*shakes nrkii* tell the truth, dear!
sheesh, you guys are tough!
yeti
we will all forgive you once per each error, jillibus!
we like it if it's a real word (kidding) :-)
deep snow, there nrkii!
I'm showing by EXAMPLE folks!
but sometimes we have parties! I am famous for my mochajavachocolatte drink....
and I'll inadvertently show by example in, oh, 5 minutes or so
lolol, nrkii!
:)
I put yet(t) on purpose but don't know what it means
come on now, everyone tell me how much you forgive me, oh wait, I forgot to say OOOPS! SORRY!
hi everyone
and many of us like to toss chocolate around the chat log as well!
bigfoot
hi saphyre
hello saphyre! meet jillibus -- she's one of hetty's friends!
I had to resort to Reese's earlier to stop an attack of silliness Stid, you missed it.
hi jillibus - nice to meet you :)
I know yeti, yet, but don't know yett yet.
I sure hope the new grid will be smaller!
hello jillibus! :)
loch ness
none of us do jilli, it's babblish
I'll go with 175
:-) Jillibus, you'll do fine!
