Me8/50 disease
hey everybody!
morning everybody
Hi JG
morning all
And Unicorn and Kallia... looks like switching shifts :)
sprite: is that disease the ringing in the ears one?
Yes Temple, exactly!
no, that's tinnitus
if only i could spell it!
what?, duh?
and how odd a proper name would be acceptable!
Okay, this is bad. I looked it up and this is what the def is: Rolled in flour and fried in butter, usually with lemon juice and chopped parsley sprinkled on top. Used of fish
displaying my ignorance...:-|
well i know but cannot spelll that, either! : D
The disease is: isorder of the inner ear associated with a change in the volume of fluid inside a portion of the inner ear called the labyrinth, which includes the membranous labyrinth and the bony labryinth. It is spelled without the U in english, and WITH that U in dutch. Hence the confusion on my side.
ah...it wont accept the disease
It will!
meuieres
oops sorry!!!!
Oh wait, you are right, Kallia, it won't. Darn. That needs to be capitalised, probably. :(
got it!
not that its a word lol
put an n in the middle and lose the s
thank you :)
ty ls1!!!!!
But close enough to one ;)
close enough :)
ah well hopefully I will not post words in the log again , at least for today lol
Tip: try 'in' before all the words in the neighbourhood. It pays off!
can somonnegivemecluses
th me8/50 is a variation of my surname--messier!
Hi folks. I've been trying to key in the ear disease, having checked the spelling, and it won't let me!
can someone give me cluses
hydra: put in a U somewhere.
it wont Hydra....
think its capitalised
im only nine
me8/50-- sounds like inspector clouseu saying more money...
I've tried a u Sprite. It still won't!
hey bambam
my 8 year old doesnt even need clues
leave off the s Hydra
The disease won't work in english spelling. But the gourmet one will.
kids are up late...
whats the gourmet one?
sole me*****
depends where they are linar :)
Me8: Rolled in flour and fried in butter, usually with lemon juice and chopped parsley sprinkled on top. Used of fish

sprite, i used your definition, put it into yahoo and it came up right away. thanks!
Hehe, that's one way of finding the word ;)
or early :)
Yes, I got it too. Thanks.

with a word like that it's the only way i'd ever get it!
hi, kallia!
sounds good, by the ay. may look up recipe and make tomorrow night.
it's delicious!
Well, I justified my playing today, I learned something new :) Never new the disease was spelled differently in english, and I did not know the gourmet def.
*never Knew
its them k's Sprite lol
See? They HATE me ;)
hihihi
ello andree
and without the e ending, it's a variation of my surname-- didn't know...
hmm. and i spent 10 minutes trying to figure out something and then learned that the disease and the gourmet were the same words, lol
oh, the me thing...
Okay, let's put Sole Me8 on the M4/6 and I may consider a Ni5/12 helping :)
hello andree
good one Sprite !
hi grandma (andree) hello dad (bambam)

Good morning/evening all. Another big grid. And congratulations mrpresident, on the Australian win last night. The British football commentators were very complimentary.
I am going to get brandy and cola and see if that helps my spelling any!
Hi haz and jean! Well, the aussies gave it a good go and are the pride of our nation! We actually have sporting *superstars* for once in our history!
For once? I thought the Aussies were famous as sportsmen!
Shane Warne might look a bit pissed off at that statment, MrP ;)
ah, famous yes! superstars?? yes now! I am very happy for us!
Margaret Court, Rod Laver etc also come to mind.
He is a shagging drunken monkey with bleach for brains! His arm has all the talent! He is not well regarded because of his lewd ways! Court and Laver are immortal!
lol yeah, he's a foul human being, but he *is* a megastar nevertheless ....
oj simpson was a megastar...

how many (or few?) words today?
hi everyone!!
260 words
Hi Jemma
You're kidding! Where can they possibly be?
There are 260 words today and good evening Jemma.
Hi Karys and Haz!!How are you both?
I don't mind how many today....golf widow !
Good here thank you Jemma....you too I hope :)
I'm ok i guess!!a bit sad!!
oh dear...why is that ?
Anyone have the un's? I have the number and its plural, and the open shoelace word. there's a un 6/24 and a un 5/15 inbetween which I just can't find
I'm fine Jemma - sorry to hear you're a bit sad....
not yet Kateq...sorry
oh, just today @ school!!it's not a big deal!!
oh thats ok then....you'll soon get over that !!
Hi Kate, un6/24, un plus me4/5
Kateq - someone who is not picked up at the airport is...
But thanks for asking!!I always tell Miss ABS, you guys are so kind on babble!!
un5/14 - not yet encountered
Hi Cat!!How are you!!
Haz, how is your dog??
TY all very much! I am down to one word
Hi Jemma, I'm fine thanks :) Just plugging away, trying to finish my last 13 words, before bed.
She is fine, thanks Jemma - outside rooting about in the garden.
you're welcome Kate
I want 'unkempt' !!
Cool!!I bet you are thinking really hard!!
So hard Jemma that smoke is coming out of my ears! :)
Ibet!!LOL
:)
;)
sinks
sorry!!
that word isn't in the puzzle anyway!!
Jemma - the first four letters are. Now make it the person who does the action, and pluralise it.
add 2 letters to that word, minus the S you had on there and you will have si6/30, plural that and you will have si7/44
change the first letter of that word, a few times to get more words and their plurals
I already have that Haz, but thanks anyway!!(:
See, you're getting so good at this!
Yep!!a lot of practice is needed though!!some of my friends are bored of babble, but NOT ME!!I love it (:
Good job Jemma, keep at it! :)
I WILL!!!
Good for you. The 'writing fluid' word is featured within lots of words on this grid.
broke 100 - are you guys sure there are more in there?
good for you amanda....70 here
I've got 111 so yes, there are more.
Loads more Amanda :) The last 13 for me are elusive
a quick hi and bye to all ...
hi and bye TO :)
hi-bye, TO
Hi - back again.
Hello TO - off so soon?
hi and bye TO!!
And welcome back FMitch!
Hey FM :)
Hello FMitch
Hi Temple and FMitch :)
vert
ooosps....sorry again !
haz: have been up all night and once i crash, probably will not see many of you across the pond...
Don't worry Karys, i always do that!!
It sounds like you need to go to bed!
Hi Jemma, so glad you are enjoying babble (saw your comment earlier). Hi Haz and Karys and Cat and TO and everyone :)
Hi Mitch!
helloooo!!
I really enjoy playing Babble FMitch, it is 1 of my hobbies now!!(:
i am a bit discombobulated...they told me to take claritin at bedtime beacuse it would make me drowsy...well, I was always a backwards child!
I'm impressed that you've stuck at it, Jemma
Sorry!
So am I!!lol(: it is my favourite website!!
No problem Haz :)
So the claritin didn't work for you - at least not at the right time. Is it for allergies or am I thinking of something else?
it is...however, it was prescribed as a result of a bee sting...
I don't like this grid .........
Oh, nasty - insect stings can be very painful.
lol ata!
Hi Atalante.....I did to start with !!!
I liked it at the beginning also, tough now
I don't either Ata, got 107 and stuck.
glad its not just me!
Ladies, ladies, we've tackled worse than this!
can any1 give me a clue for ar6/18?
yea, it's when everyone else comes back and says "it's great" or "I'm done" that you know you really have problems!!
true true Haz ... am having a whiny day though :)
ar + s4 (the trigonometry one)
ar plus one of the 7 deadly ***s, plus 2nd vowel
jemma: ar + si4/4
I know! Just the way Sprite scampered through it earlier was depressing enough!
Ok everyone, my brother and my dad are back with dinner. I better go now!!Have a gr8 day everyone, or night!!Bye Haz, Cat9x and everyone else. Happy Babbling!!(:Bye
Sprite's finished already?!?! How does she do it? Our newly unemployed friend is in the grid! I think that's appropriate
And Thanks TO!!
We savour the words, and welcome them individually. It's just a different approach.
ty! bye jemma!
Bye Jemma - have a good night!
Bye Jemma, enjoy your dinner :)
Bye everyone!!!!!(:
une?
good way of thinking about it LOL!
afternoon everybody
Well said Haz!
fa6/27 resigned from her job - that's the polite way of putting it!
oh......
or the impoilte way - she told her boss to go f*** himself and stormed out
Ata's (and F's!) way is much more fun!
how did i miss this? seems like i have been babbling away my life lately
oh well done she !!!
yes! go her!
It was yesterday, afternoon over here, TO
It happened yesterday afternoon our time, and morning on your side of the pond. We were all cheering for her.
ack!
there....got my 100 now !
so dish...what happened?
Apparently her boss was a real creep, using abusive language to everyone. She refused to take the abuse and left - after giving him a piece of her mind.
good for her! except now she must go looking again
She was sure that she could get another job - I hope that is the case.
please give her my best when you see her. i think i will finally turn in...i am stuck at 168 and the thought of finding 92 more makes me nauseated
Sleep tite Temple :)
*passes Temple the barf bag*
Night TO
nitey-nite, TO!
Oh, you've done really well, and you should go to bed for some rest. The 92 remaining words will keep.
Has your footie excitement abated yet MrP?
night TO!
how can i leave now! mr, p - will we have enough left for literat? all i am so screwed up - in emergency room until 11 on wed slept from meds worked afternoon only...

Temple... literati championships is on Saturday night!! Get sleep my dear and get more meds!!
Completely inactive amandacath.
Italy v Australia!! oh joy!
oh! *that* could be interesting ......
ok - hopefully i will be awake. bye all! happy babbling!
Good night TO - sleep well!
nite nite Temple!! sleep well and hope to see you Saturday!!
Atalante, *that* will be facinating!! Half our country are italians too, so the great divide begins!!
mr. p: my grandfather's sister emigrated from italy to australia...
Very popular destination for european settlers! :))
We had phone call from Australia last night to say my 'hubby' has a new grandson !!!!
I have a sneaky feeling Australia might do quite well there ... *sigh*
but so very hard to get in , i thought...
congrats Kary!!
ty mrp :)
Only the best are allowed into Australia, isn't that right mrpresident?
Great, Karys - bet you are as smiley as your cat today then!!
bit 'worried' about the name tho'....Otis Maxwell ..???
and they have a double barreled surname to boot !
I can imagine a man called Otis, but it's not a baby name. Does that sound stupid?
Absolutely!!We import only the best!!
oh dear...Otis, huh? Well....
could be worse I guess!
A name that will take some growing into.
not at all Haz....I am finding it difficult to imagine actually meeting and saying 'hello there little Otis' !!
bet he becomes max...
or maxine!
perhaps a cat ?....oor even a dog...but a baby...weeeellll
Max good, Otis not so much
not to mention a lift (Oh I didn't say that)!!!!
Karys, smile and call him darling and sweeting and cherub... that works for about 2 years whilst you get your therapist to work you through it!
can do the Max.........oh goodness that had't yet occured to me FMitch !
Any help for the 8's? Ive got the smellies and the ponderers...
So sorry Karys. Just couldnt resist.
LOL....mrp...won't get to see him til next year...we are just getting reday to make our plans for next March end I think
me8 - fattening batter on fish
Technically MrP that is not actally quite right as it is a dusting of flour on something like a dover sole and then cooked in butter. (Today's cookery lesson is now over)!
sounds fattening to me!! LOL
Got it now, thanks FMitch
ty mrp
my culinary skills are fairly lacking, will have to ponder that one for a bit...
sorry, I have been up since before the dawn of history and my clues might be stupid tonight!
amanda - you would see it on a menu (in fact the first four letters are in it)
I saw sprites def for it earlier and knew it straight off but just couldn't spell the darn thing, had to google it in the end.
must go and do 'something' in the house...back later :)
Hi all - not staying -just logged in to see how many today, beginning to wish I hadn't! Except that I can congratulate Karys on her new grandson. Think Otis Redding & that lovely voice Karys! One of my grandaughters has Tulip as a middle name! It's quite cute now but when she's 30?! LOL See you all later on I hope
(((MrP))) sports overload!!!
bye Karys!
Snowy....thank you...I quite like 'Tulip'....knew a Dhalia once !
Hello snowyowl - those 260 words will haunt you until you can settle down to them.
but doesn't work for a bloke now does it Karys LOL
going now :)
My grandmothers sisters (5) were all flowers & jewlels & she was really peeved tio be Doris!
oops..nearly going then...not quite right, no FMitch !! lol
(((beer battered fish and chips))) for the overloaded sports cretinism! cravings!!
mrp, I have a technical question for you. I use a desk top and laptop computer for different things. When I fill the spaces for lickety's clues, and then open the laptop, I lose all the entries i.e. they stay on the desk top but have to start again with laptop. The same thing does not happen with opening and closing the actual babble puzzle. Is that sort of clear??
There's a local chemist called Vivian Primrose. What were his parents thinking? A surname like Primrose needed a manly name to offset it.
try again....going now :)
Bye Karys!
Bye Karys
Hi Haz, I MUST NOT sit here as I would like, but finish my washing up & clean the kitchen floor now. I sometimes get the feeling that i married the wrong man! LOL
helenary, I will call in the bug exterminator!! Oh Lickety!!!
sounds good!!
helenary - i have an answer for you
Well, enjoy the grid once you get the time, snowyowl.
bye all BBL
The answer is : I'm sorry all our operators are busy at the moment, please stand by ...
Only joking ;-)
Amanda, ri8/55, resembling a ri5/16. The ending is like the animal, wolver***
Grace Klutz, Sydney Bridges, Rhonda Honda, Teddy Strong
it only saves on the computer you are on. Babble is where you come to save ;-)
oh lickety what might that be please!! I want to watch the soccor shows with my laptop but all the clues are in the desktop
Grace Klutz!!! love it.
OKKKAYYY
BUT helenary
yes
If you want to get really technical you can copy the cookies from one to the other
en8/45, is en6/21 with ending like opposite of your bro(ther)
Best we do this off list. Unless everyone else wants to hear techno stuff
i tried that but they copied back to blank..i even emailed myself
mmm - I haven't tried it myself - might be a security thing that stops it from happening.
ok but how? Hope you don't mind.
Is the laptop on a network?
never mind i'll go thru it again but i only have 73 words left to go. Have a Mac. Yes i am bigpond and use piilot.
You could remote control one PC with the other maybe - that way you can see both?
carry on lickety I don't have a prob. Also someone was asking how to clear the cookies this morning so it is useful info to post in the log or as a supplementary somewhere on your list perhaps?
Fmitch- sometimes Firefox hangs onto a page - you can force a Refresh of the page sometimes to help.
sorry, but what does clearing cookies mean?
I clear the cookies if it's a new game..but something the page doesn't know
and a Cntrl F5 or Shift F5 sometimes helps
I don't know I was just quoting what someone posted this morning
ok, got the r8 and e8, still working on the butter batter....
the wierd me8/50, never heard of, had to google it, but it breaks down like this...me plus **derwear, plus 3rd vowel plus h*** comes the bride.
Helenary - I think you want to see your clues on your other PC. only way to do that is print, or remote control the other one.
thanks Cat! google wasn't finding it for me
if you see it on menus its generally as "sole me******"
crazy word, dislike it when they are so odd I have to search for them on google or other sites.
ok, feel i am imposing..will keep working on it. have to get this job done before doing important things. Thanks lickety v much
Never saw that Ata, even the variant spelling one.
Did I help? I didn't think so - Thanks for the Thanks anyway ;-) What I can suggest is this - Use Babble to enter words, use the clues when you get stuck.
i do, ido..i babble till i cannot go anyfurther..look at lickety, and tick what i have and minimize page and work along side the puzzle with AtoZ close at hand. I tried to send the lickety page to my laptop but lost all the entries. I will print the list next time I want to move computers. Good idea??
Yeah - but another idea is to work out how you can see the screen of the desktop on the laptop. I can do it windows to windows, but not about mac
ok i will persevere, but printing is the easiest option..thanks it was great being able to discuss this with you..
Anyone got the ke's? I've got the parrots, the English county, the groove, and the scottish soldiers
I hope the next one is ea6/18, this one gave my th7/48 a headache and made me nu4/5. Of should I say nu7/32 :) All done!
"or
Congratulations Cat!
No probs helenary - any other ones - send me an email and I'll always get back to you.
Cat gets *~*~*~FIREWORKS!~*~*~*
Thank you Haz, had to look alot of them up though, so not quite a full victory. I like to do them all on my own.
Thanks mrp! :)
fireworks and a hurrah for a nice paragraph!
I have the ke's amanda, what do you have, and I'll clue you on your missing ones.
Yay Cat! And thanks for the nu7!
Thanks Pam :)
you're welcome Amanda :)
I've got parrots, English county, groove, and scottish soldiers sing+pl
thats a good idea, thankyou!! Back to "work"now.
Oh, just monkeyed the missing two ke's - if there really are seven of them...
yep. 7
Yay, K's done! On to the v's....
6 kn's and 1 ki
congrats!
Woohoo Cat missed you finishing (blooming phone)!!
Thank you FM :)
Cat, I love your pusscat! very nice!
Thanks mrp, I fell in love with it when I saw it on a website :)
Is'nt it just MrP, the very defined strokes of the brush and there is the essence of a cat.
I like that FM, the "essence" of a cat :)
need some help on the v's - got the blood vessels (2), girl's name, poetry and the trig-function...
ve6/27, Realism in art and literature
I like the pic's "essence of cat" better than the real "essence of cat" - love cats, hate litter boxes!
ROFL amanda
lol, there is a drawback to anything that gives you pleasure!
there is a ve7/40, ve, plus a consonant plus si4/4
that's the trig function, Cat (believe it or not - I thought it meant "poetry-like" until I looked it up...); got the realism one - one more to go.
do you have ve4/7? ****ical, as opposed to horizontal
I swear I put that in a dozen times and it wouldn't take! Does that really happen, or do we just think we type the words....?
oh, and thanks - that's the v's slain
I swear it happens too, then hours later, i try again when I am at a loss, and voila, it takes it.
Hello everyone!
Hi Preethi!
Hello Preethi!
Hi Preethi
Hi Amand, Cat, Haz. Hows the grid today?
It's a toughie!
It's interesting.
Not as bad as it looks at first sight - I thought it looked horrible, then the first 100 came fairly quickly. After that....
hmm.. how many words?
260 Preethi
260 words
Run away while you can!!!!
Thats a lot.. I have jus a couple of hours. Guess it will be tough to get half way. Hi Fmitch!
Hi Preethi
Surely "vire" is legit? As in moving budget allocations from one heading to another?
Sorry to blaspheme but I have stopped finding words and am sudokuing instead for a break.
Traitor.
Never heard of it Ray, but then I know next to nothing about budgets, let alone allocating them!
LOL
LOL
Right, I'm going to take a break. Not to do anything with numbers, but something wholesome like taking the dog for a walk.... Back later. Only 95 left to find - only!
WTG Haz TTFN
Have a good walk Haz, bye!
And if it rains, I will get cross! Bye!
later haz!
Good Morning All, hints for the r8 and e8 please
Hi Peri, the r8/55 is ri5/16, plus the end of the animal the wolver***.
Thanks Cat9x
means relating to, or resembling a ri5/16
Cat, I just looked up the def. yet another new word for me
the en8/45 is en5/12 plus opposite of bro(ther)
A new one for me too Peri :)
hi peri! r8 = like a flowing body of water; e8= sounds medical, sounds a bit like a bruise but with e instead of a (must look up)
eewwww! looked it up - it's why they sell adult diapers
good morning everyone! Just did the first run through and have 89 left. It's a nice, challenging puzzle. Of course I may not feel that way in a while.
ewlates to incontinence I think
Hi Eva!.....yikes *relates
anyone have the fr5/16? it is third from the end of the fr's
thanks got the en
add another letter onto the end of fr4/7 Kate
isn't it neat seeing Merp and your graphic side by side? He could have been the model
Yes it is Eva! Merp is such a cutie!
there's a fr4/7 that two 5/16s build off of - think french potatoes...?
Eva that is quite a 1st run through to get to that point and only have 89 left!!
hi eva!
it doesn't usually go that smoothly, and i signed on just as you guys were giving a lot of clues for the 8's, so that helped a lot.
hi amanda!
have the ri8 and en8 may I have clues for the other 8 letter words please
I have the 4/7 which is a bit of glass, I have the fr 5/18 which adds a letter and the fr5/16 which makes it plural
It's my last word and I am going mad
The one you add the extra letter to, sounds like souther fried fr**ters. Least thats what my Gramma used to call them :)
Kateq - make the fr18 plural
double the last letter of the 4, kateq
en8/45,me8/50,ri8/55,st8/60,th8/65
Peri - there's a philosophical th8 and a smelly st8......
Eva and movieman, thanks, will search for them now
TY Amanadacath! done!
then there is the ridiculous me, still think it sounds ridiculous, relates to cooking I guess.
Yay Kateq!
By the way, Eva, clue me up with that me8 plz.....
Who are we today, MM? Don't recognize the birthday boy...
sauce me______ which is usually served with trout. French word for someone who gives us coal
Me8=a way to saute fish, french word, sole me******--llightly bread and saute then dress with lemon and parsley
Thanks movieman and Eva, found the st8
It's Bruce "Evil Dead" Campbell, amanda, but he was yesterday's birthday boy, haven't updated yet.....
Off to bed, happy babbling all! Bye :)
once again, that last word is one for which "no entry is found" grr
no wonder I didn't recognize him - never heard of him, although the movie rings a bell ... is it one of Peter Jackson's splatters? I get them all mixed up
have a great Friday All!
The Evil Dead was an early Sam "Spider-man" Raimi film, amanda.....
movieman and Eva, thanks found the th8, initially was looking for an obscure word but it is an everyday word after all, thanks
Ahhhh - I think I actually have seen it, but like I said, they all kind of jumble together in my brain...
de nada
160 to go time for a break, bbl
me break too - bbl later to finish!
Icon updated.......refresh y'all!!!!!!
No wonder I couldn't get the me8, Eva said that's it's French for someone who gives us coal, when in fact, it comes from the French for miller.....
Good morning all. I found an extra fe 4/7 word that is not in Lickety's list
I have: nu7/32,re7/44,sh7/32,st7/44,te7/32,th7 /48,ti7/44.ve7/40 can someone complete the list? And if they're mainly re's I'm taking my marbles and going home(-:
So sorry for the misleading clue movieman!!! My bad
You're forgiven, Eva!!!!!
thank you-should never give a definition like that without looking it up, My french is much too rusty and unreliable
Eva - there's a more canvas-like te7/28......
Eva - si7/44 - pluralize a si6/30
thanks movieman!
Eva - cluez for the re7/44?
and thanks peri!
re7/44-what a bone does after it has been broken
yw Eva- 140 left to find, now I am really taking a break
And ty Eva!!!!!!
peri-you encouraged me to go through my list looking for missed plurals
And the nu7, peri, if you would be so kind?
already picked up 3 more that way and only on the e's
movieman - crazier
Forget it, just got it!!!!!!
But I'll gladly accept a clue or two for the ve7....
ve7-first 3 letters of truthfulness +4 letter ending from mu___ the eye drops, or sar____ the smelly fish
I really, REALLY have to stop asking for help then getting the words, it's quite annoying......
wow! That was incredibly satisfying. Picked up another 10 just by going through my list and trying an s at the end of every single word. 73 left now.
still missing 6 7's
I'm still missing 7 7's, Eva, so howsabout we compare lists?
okay, here w go again:en7/28,nu7/32,re7/44,sh7/32,st7/ 44,te7/28,te7/32,th7/48,ti7/44,ve7/40
what are yours?
And I have mi7/32, nu7/32, re7/44, sh7/32, si7/44, st7/44, te7/28, th7/48, ti7/44 & ve7/40......
I have the si7 too-forgot it.
thanks for the mi7!
the en one is the one that has to do with incontinence
clue for the mi, si and ni 7?
mi-something more like spearm___. Si-things that don't float,nu(not i)-more crazy
Eva - I have the en8 urine one, but I can't make it into a 7.....hints plz?
sorry movie-Im really f_____ up with hints for you today. The en7 is not connected to incontinence-it is the plural of en6/18 which one wouldn't think wo9uld have a plural but does. the en6/18 which means the whole thing
will you still play with me despite my sending you on wild goose chases?
No wonder I couldn't get it, ty Eva!!!!!
Of course I will!!!!
72 left and can't for the life of me see where the little buggers are hiding!
Probably a good time to call it quits for the morning. Nice to have something left for bedtime anyway. See you later movieman
I also need the te7/32......
No I don't!!!!!!!!
okay, I'm going to be careful about this one...te7/32 is the plural of te 6/21 which is what a faculty member gets if they are hired on permanently.
There you go again, jumping the gun(-:
Now you can call it quits, Eva!!!!!!
thank you Eva.
ti 7 and re 7 plz?
re7 - what bones do when they heal.....or to make something with wool again.... ti7 - plural of the ti6.......
MOvie man, I do not ahve the ti 6. can you give me a clue?
Thanks Eva. Got teh three of them
ti6= the smelly st7- the s.......
have the st 7
Then take the s from it to get the ti6......
got it! Thanks Movieman
need clues for the mi and nu 7. any help?
more mi4/5
more nu4/5
good morning, babblers!!
mi 7, nu 7, st 8 and me 8 clues plz?
hi annie
question... if I shut down my internet, then come back later and log in will it save my word list? Sorry if it's a bit newbie to ask, I'm new to the Babble world :)
there's a thunderstorm, and I don't want to leave my computer up while I'm gone at work
yes, mollusk, it will
You are safe to shut down Molusk. Your words will still be here.
no problem. mollusk, it will wait for you
great, thanks so much, FMitch :)
appreciate it. have fun babbling, all!
AFternoon all

Good afternoon all. I'm back to get the remaining words. Have I missed anything?
Good morning, everyone =)
hi haz and spec!
I love your icon, annie
thank you, spec!
Thanks anniebrook! That really helped!
and i love that pretty face in your icon, i assume that is you.
yw, clm
thank you =). yes, it's me in one of my sane moments
Ooo look! a random chat module! cool.
oh geez, looks like a wonderful grid, how many words today?
260
260
thanks, i think i'm running away now...
one 8 letter... the rest are 7 and under =)
i mean 5 8 letters
already stuggling with the phantom words today! *grrr*
phantome words?
phantom words are words that arent in the grid, but because of the letters that ARE in the grid, you keep seeing the words anyway...hehe
Words which you think you see in the grid but which are not there. For the want of an a in the right place we could have had miniatures.
ahhhh! Yeah. I'm having the same trouble. thanks.
i really want "kitten" and "mitten" not to mention "written" and "fritters" its all those letters at the bottom today!
erase
*DOH*
and critter
fritters sound good... you're making me hungry
yeah, I can't get past kettle.
my son's middle name is in the grid... and it's a word =)
does it start with ke? i have it
yes. his name is Liam KE4/8
ok, time to get some work done!!
back later. :)
bye evan
here too, be back later :)
bye annie
See you later!
I'm a little confused on the point count....I have a 7-letter word with points adding to 10, but the score is 40.
That's because the points for a 5 letter word are doubled, trebled for a 6 and so on.
It means that it is to your advantage to find longer words - more points.
Afternoon Haz
oh...thanks
Good afternoon FMitch - glad to say the rain stayed off and I've had my lunch, so I'm ready to get started again.
AAAAANNNNNNDDDDDD.......The Moviemeister has returned!!!!!!!!
Greetings movieman! You're early today!
hello movieman
Glad to hear that Haz. I working but have the chat log open in a small window
You should have been here at 12:00, Haz, 'cos I was here then as well!!!!!!!
So if we wave, you can still see us?
*waving back* - does it work?
Well, howdy movieman and everyone else too.. I have about an hour to spend in BabbleLand this session, so how is the grid today?
Yes!
it's good today, in my opinion
The grid is interesting - quite a lot of nice words.
Aloy - you are going to have to lickety split today to get 260 words in an hour but good luck!!
It's a pretty fun grid today, Aloy, lots of 7's & 8's, but most of them are quite easy....
LOL FMitch.. no way I could do it, even with the list... I mean that I have an hour to happily babble before I need to go for a while. (-:
Me neither Aoly but enjoy anyway.
speaking of going... I'm off. I'm overrun with vegetables from the garden that need pickling and freezing and... whatever else can be done. See you all later =)
Bye specificity - see you later.
Yesterday was hilarious when I left Babble to get some yard work done - took the old Lab out with me, and in no time the skies turned black and we were hit with tremendous storms... so, I took that as a sign to keep on babblin!
SH 4:5 is accepted, but SH 4:5 IER was not found in the dictionary!
It was a sign indeed.
Afternoon all.........
Sue - it would have a double t in the middle.
HI. Im back
Haz need some clues. Im stuck at 77
I must lead a nice life, Haz - I'd never have thought of that!
Not that I use the word on a regular basis, you understand!
Of course not! Who could have thought that!
Preethi - have you used all the combinations possible with the writing fluid (in*) - there are lots of words with that in.
ok will try
i ahve jus two of them 5/18 and 6/30
in5/18, in6/20, mi4/9,si4/8, si6/30, si7/44, st5/18, st7/44, st8/60, th5/20, th7/48, th8/65,ti6/30, ti7/44
That should help!
got all of them. Thanks Haz
Haz - I believe you missed an ri4/8......
:) really appreciate the help
You're welcome.
You're right, movieman, I did!
I've got an IN 6:31 rather than 6:20, Haz. Is that are a typo, or have we both missed something?
Sigh. *6:30*
No - it's just my notorious inabiity to cope with numbers!
can i have a clue for the in 6 /20 Sue? i jsu realized that i have the 30 and not the 20.
Join the club - it's letters beat me!
There only is the one, Preethi and you've got it.
Preethi - it was a typing error on my part - there is no in6/20.
aahh ok
its 7pm here and im losing focus.
would i be able to have some clues for in words please? i only have in5/18, in6/30 and in6/21
There are some in6/21 words if you want clues for them?
Where are you Preethi?
In India Caitlyn
Haz can do with some clues
That sounds great Preethi
in6/21 - add ti4/5
in5/12 - add a vase/pot often used for ashes, and pluralise for in6/21
thanks but we have that one Haz!!!
where are you from Caitlyn?
in5/12 - use the same combo as before but change the last letter of the vase/container for a vowel.
oh thank you Haz for that last one!!
Im from London Preethi but have lived in Wales for 38years!
in6/21 - add tu4/5 and then pluralise for the 7.
Ur a legend haz!!!
got all of them except for teh in 5/12.
Thank you! Preethi - if you have the word for pot/container, change the last letter for the second vowel.
Thats nice caitlyn
reint
oops - don't worry it didn't work any way
Thanks Haz
Can anyone resist trying a word you see in the chat log? I never can!
Glad to help Preethi.
i totally agree suemagee
:) you are awesome Haz!
I just like to help when I'm asked.
Haz.. jus it case you dont ha ve it, there is a in5/12 with in + the word for the vase by itself.
wah just had horrible 1/2 hour. was out with pup and came across a tiny sparrow with a broken wing. managed to get pup off it and my friend and I ran down to the vets with the poor thing. they are keeping it down there for an hour or so to see if it gets any better and comes out of shock ...
Haz.. jus it case you dont have it, there is a in5/12 with in + the word for the vase by itself.
I've just discovered mi5/20 which uses the writing fluid combination. Add a vowel to change the fur into something else.
Thanks Preethi - I have it.
Hi all love the picture Caiityn
my phantom: minute.
Husband wants on to the computer so I'll be back later.
I think it is cool that a vowel can change a furry creature into a sea creature
i will be leaving soon. so see you on sunday Haz.
any help for me 6, 21 would be appreciated by a goob!
Jera - if you are playing today can you say Hi as I have some additions for sprite's collection!!

Hi everyone! Hurshy! How nice to see you. Are you enjoying your holiday?
yw, preethi.
hi jac, yes, i am. but at the moment marseille is very hot and sunny - so i'm staying indoors till evening
Ok. Im off guys. Will see you all on Monday. Have a great weekend everyone!
Bye preethi, see you!
Not a sun lover then, Hursh? Same here, in that I don't like sunbathing. 'So, why,' do I hear you ask, 'are you ging to Crete in July??' LOL.
Bye babblers! Be back later.
*or even going to Crete.
hmmm it seems to get upset when i add a word i already have, but i don't know which words it's taken unless i actually look...
So, Hursh. Where have you been and what have you seen so far? (If you have time to say. Don't worry, if not.)
good morning. how many words today?
260 words
jac i tried to post a reply but it doesn't seem to have gone...and...any clues for weird words would be most welcome, everyone :)
hey, hursh! Give a bonjour to all the marseillais for me!
hiya hurshy!!!
will do une! HI BEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so hows the trip going?
good but less internet than i hoped... and more expensive than i hoped :)
How is your charge finding the vacation so far hurshy?
:) so are plans for the 15th still good?
Hello, people, how are you doing? Gross puzzle, eh?
yes bex :) :) fmitch - ok, i guess, but he seems mostly to want to visit places just to say he's been.
Hi Jai. 41 left to find here. Hurshy was just asking for clues for weird words... hmmm... where would we start??
oh great - i had to pick a beast to play
The big words are all fairly normal, Hursh.
Oh, Jacula, I wouldn't know a thing about that- and I have 92 left to go, so I need clues, myself!
But surely hurshy thats where you can guide him - it is probably a once in a lifetime opportunity. 5 weeks round Europe lots of people would kill for that!!!
but jac - i still need clues as i'm paying by the hour :) got to try to go fast :)
en8/45 - bladder incontinence. (Ends in not your little bro.)
I know....en8 is a gross one- old people suffer from it.....
nu7/32 - more of what the squirrel eats.
re7/44 - makes a woollen jumper again.
te 6 & 7 - profs want this ve 7 think trig
ah that is weird
sh7/32 - more glossy or bright.
si7/44 - pl. of the 6 before it. Ships that don't float?
(Think hook, line and ....'
arrghh - my phantom word today is reunites
st7/44 (another plural) - smelly people or rotters.
in 6 & 7 think of a synonym for unpaid helpers in an office
i got that jac and a bunch that rhyme with it - this is great though you guys are so nice
would that be '
*Meant st7/44 & 8/60.
Hurshy what have been the highlights so far?
slaves?
ostia antica is very cool fmitch
woot, my words are building fast!
th7/48 & pl 8/65 - philosophers?
i'm keeping notes on the whole trip - when i get back and have unlimited internet, i will post all about it on babanon if people want
there are a few number & 'place numbers' in the list
ti6/30 & pl7/44 - Irish wanderers (pot menders at one time)
Would agree with you there.
Hursh - the reports when you return would be good.x
I could use a clue for the first fr5....TY
re 5 & 7 - a musical 'gala' and the person who performs in it
ve7/40 - a contraction of 2 words ve**** s*** which means: trigonometric function of an angle equal to one minus the cosine of that angle.
I need a clue as to where there is a "p" in the grid
great clue jacula, thanks
I think that's all the bigges, Hursh. I guess you have the me8/50 sauce one.
me too, sam!
Sam - if you are picking up on where people are saying pl - that is short form for plural.
en7/28 (pl of en6/18 - whole or complete).
sam - there isn't a p, pl was for "plural"
oooohhh
oh, duh, and duhs
Hello? I need fr5 the first one, please!
LOL
Don't worry about it Sam :)
Sorry for any confusion Sam & Une.
fr5/16 - French for brother
argh, i wish the words i type would all go in.
Haz - thanks. I hadn't spotted that.
Ty for that excellent clue....
Hey Haz - the clue-miester!! How's things going?
Got 2 words out of it, too.:)
It's not a lone sibling either!
I'm fine - FMitch - just ploughing through.
ve5/16 - German for badder?
ve5/16 - poetry?
sam, LOL!
Oh, Hursh, the Babblet sr4/4 is there.
got that babblet but... so embarrassed...have not seen this me8 sauce of which you spoke...
Ok. I'm off. Have fun babbling, all. Have to clean house. sigh
hursh, think "sole me*****"
Someone did a good breakdown of that me8 word earlier. I'll see if I can find it for you.
and Marseille being a sea port and all - honestly hurshy!!!
ahh thanks une
i kept thinking "meatless", LOL
god, now i'm drooling--may go fix some breakfast!
me + negative prefix + lum**** ( a character from Disney's Beauty & The Beast meaning 'light.') cumbersome.
hey, i've only been here for 5 hours fmitch :)
me8/50-- sounds like inspector clouseu saying more money...
Reverse the last two letters in the list from which you order food, vowel, then a shortened, poetical version of before.
My clue was originally Libarebel's, btw.
me+***corn+poetic word for 'before'
phew. rescued little sparrow looks like it'll be ok. vet just phoned and said they'd keep him quiet overnight and see how he is tomorrow :)
In which case dont forget totry the bouillabaisse too.
yuuuuummmm!!
awww...sparrow. thanks all, i love seeing the different ways people think to clue :)
There's always the ratatouille to be sampled as well.
bouillabaisse for dinner it is!
my brother calls it rata-tooty because of the effect it has on his digestive system!
As long as they haven't put basil in it.
Imagine a grid just full of cookery terms! That'd be a fun one... erm, I think.
Basil Fawlty, Haz?
LOL
Indeed!
Une - the 'LOL' was about your bro. Very descriptive!
:-D
If bouillabaisse was in a grid what a point score that would be!!!
My son used to call Chilli con Carne, 'Chilly Gone Barmy'.
oh well back for more, seems awkward today!!!
Hah!
He couldn't understand how something 'Chilly' was hot.
FMitch - You do realise I'm going to have to work out the score for that now, don't you? *sighs*
LOL sorry Jacs but do let me know when you have please.
ah, Jac, OCD can be such a burden!
hey hurshy...where are you at the mo?
bb worth 198
I can re6/18 that temptation easily.
Thanks, Haz. That was another word I hadn't got.
I just happen to be on the re words at the minute and it seemed appropriate.
BTW, it's b13/180 by my reckoning.
Hurshy - where is your "next port of call2?
Any in clues would be gretly appreciated...
in + ti4/5
oh yes jac, i multiplied by 11 instead of ten... we're in marseille for a couple days, then one night in carcassonne, on to spain, then biarritz, bordeaux, paris, amsterdam, london
Jai - in5/18 & pl 6 - one who fills stamp pads?
in + tu4/5
in6/21 - No, you're not late.You're just in****.
in + (ode on a grecian) u**
in6/21 & pl 7 - Stop pushing! You must take it in****
in + fork prong
ar6?
Carcasonne is stunning , when are you meeting up with sprite?
ar + si4.
oh nvm about ar... meeting sprite in amsterdam july 11, ata in london the 13th and bex in newcastle the 15th! :) possibly babbler in london as well...?
wow, hursh, how fabulous!
Hope you are taking lots of pics too?
my husband is taking the pics...and the student is too, and his are digital
Well, folks, the laundry is calling me and so is the shop. 37 to go, but they'll have to wait until later. Nice seeing you, Hursh, and I hope the clues helped.
so hursh were are u at the minute~
later, jac!
p.s. Hursh, I clued the ar6 for you at 10:16.
Byeee!x
in marseille, bexie dear yes jac they certainly did!
hmm what time did i start? i have 2 hours paid for...
hmm, are the frondy plants the LAST fe's, or not?
yes, hursh
ok thanks inge :)
what on earth other 5/16 can go between the fr6/30 and fr5/18 - i have the pl of the 4/7...
ohhh i have to go the other way
hurshy - I can't believe you are babbling when you have the wealth of Europe at your feet or are you doing it during siesta time?
ah! mediocrtiy attained (i'm halfway there - which is about as far as i usually get)
siesta time :)
fmitch - it's very hot out and anyway even amidst the wealth of europe one needs to do something truly relaxing...
The fr4/7 has a stutter at the end.
and the other fr is the french word for fries,
how about the im?
It's what the seven dwarves would say when asked what they do.
lol, great clue haz
We aim to please.
haz - great - actually what one of the 7 would say, but hey - i got it.
I stand corrected.
this is quite gobsmacking - There's a housing complex in Hong Kong whose 100 windowless rooms are each ten feet square. TEN FEET. Photographer Michael Wolf painstakingly took a photograph in each one, showing its occupant and furniture. The result is a set of 100 thought-provoking photos. One look, and you'll never again complain about the size of your home: http://photomichaelwolf.com/100x100/ - have a look ....
me 6/21?
It's a homonym of the dwarves' work place plus a couple of vowels
ahhh does that come after eeny meeny then?
That's the one.
what a funny word.
just hit 200... wish i knew how much time i had left
Morning, interesting chat. I remembr the first time we flew into Hong Kong (on our way to Western Australia) before the new airport was built and the plane flew past apartmant blocks on its descent--quite frighteningly close-- and we could see occupants thro' every window, several shapes in each tiny square----
Good morning hetty.
Hurshy, so far I have 4. Hmmm
the same in some parts of Tokyo ... you see tiny houses and then realise that 3 families live in each one ...
Good morning Haz. I'm late today, having just seen off overnight guests. Didn't babble yesterday and m glad to be back
It's an interesting grid today so you should enjoy some of it!
Oops, what's happened to my icon? Split personality again
I need clues for the first pair of in's. in5+6, PLZ!!!
Regarding overcrowding, I overheard two old gentlemen reminiscing about their younger days. One was from a family of 15, the other from a family of 18 - all in a two bedroom house. But they were both saying 'Ah those were good days!'
what's the ri8? did i get a clue from jac?
in5 and 6 - those who use writing fluid.
Ty, Haz!
Atalante - been looking at the site you mentioned and it si mind boggling. Gets even more so when you have looked at a number of the images and then randomly click on one like #93!
ri8 = having to do with a ri5
ri8/55 adds three letters to the body of water to indicate its resemblance to said body of water
fritte
doh
sorry
not even a word, either. how embarrassing
LOL Next time Golux make it a word we don't already have thanks!!!!
sa6?
its an amazing set of photos! really make you realise how much we take for granted, just in terms of living space and light and windows and everything! Some of the pics are quite staggering - especially #76 I think
Plural nerve gas
ah, i see, thanks haz
OMG Ata - Hadn't seen that one - look at all those extra sockets on the left ahnd side!! socets
its rather eye-opening!
The overall thing though is that none of those spaces have windows. Of everything not to have a window I think would be the worst.
yeah ... no fresh air, no light. horrid
and our prisoners in maximum security prisons probably have more space and light than they do!
My husband would shoot himself, I think. He is such a fresh air fiend he nearly panics if there is no window to be opened. Anyway, I must depart in order to get some food for my family. Happy hunting everyone!
bye haz!
Bye Haz
Thanks, Haz, see you later
if people could throw out some un clues... and any weird v's... i think i'm close to out of time, 16 left
oh gosh, i thought they would be un's but there are a lot of ur's!
got the ve7?
yup jac clued me up on biggies
yay for Jac!
i need ve6

ve6: ve+ (sounds like) that thing that connects your hand to your forearm
husbands.
men!
hey now
well, now that i'm done all fast and have time, how is everyone? :)
last te6/21?
te + the middle of your name + vowel
how many 6/21s are there?

its not just you!

bon appetit, mon ami hurshy!!!
congratulations angel
yay, boston!
Atalante, you're right, so many French words today
hi Annie
so how far behind am I? got a late start... I still have 170 words to go
and I'm getting very annoyed with none of them being accepted!!
hiya boston, the many french words should bode well for you!
oh no!
Me 6/21, pls?
I'd love to play Babble in other languages... though I suspect some languages would yield far fewer words
boston, scroll back to when everyone was bombarding hursh with clues!
merci Une!
me6 eeny, meeny, me**** mo
me6/21, rhymes with a word for your backside
Ty, TY, TY!
hey girls, can I do a little poll among you?... I'm curious as to how you work your way through the grid. Do you go from one tile to the next, or stay in one corner for a while? Top half, then bottom half? What works best for each of you?
randomness!
bostonmaild- you will find as many answers a grains of sand.
me too, boston . . . i do as many as i can, any size, any location . . . then go to the list . . .
Hey Gang finished!!!
congrats, faerie!!!!
gj faeriekae
yay faerie!
fmitch, so true! LOL!
I type away as I see words and when that dries up look at the stats to see where words are coming from - after that I go to the list
i usually start with the first letter on the top row and try to work my way down. as i am doing this, i start finding words all over the place and, yes, it become random as atalante said.
me*8?
Thanks :)
yay, faeriekae!!! how are you today?
me 8 is more of me4/5
Everyone has a totally different way of working the grid.
ok, I'm with you, Annie... I try to work tile to tile, but I end up all over the place... and I guess it depends on how many words there are, and how much time you have to Babble...
I just put words in as my eye catches them. very unorganised!
Annie I'm much better than I was yesterday even though the jerk exboss called me agian last night at 9:30 to tell me to bring him his printer manual and fax manual....which he had there in a file
what's the theme today?
Seashell
seashells is the theme
*feeling dumb* I don't know where you look to find out the theme...
I'm random to start with, then I work my way through each tile in turn, then it's Lickerty of blessed name and finally, the dreaded lists!
if it is a small grid, wordwise, i will get the list and, of course, get words from clues in chat. Otherwise, like today, i go listless, watch for clues and i never finish without the list. but you guys are great!
Boston-it is in Angelsongs Resource page
seashells yay!! then my name fits the theme already
LOL it sure does :)
Boston you need my icon
faeriekae, glad you are feeling better today, your boss is afraid of women, hence, the idiotic behavior. I hope you find another job when you leave this baboon.
Annie I'm sure I'll find another job I'm so glad that I found out what kind of jerk he is now rather than later
faerie, your pic is beautiful!... I'm looking through all my mermaid pics...
en8?
Good evening everyone
Hi Paddy :)
yes, im sure you will find another job and get away from this person. good luck
Thanks Boston :)
hi paddy
en 8 inabiliy to control your bladdr
bladder
Hi faeriekae, hi Annie
en 8 en+upside down n + hook letter + 2nd vowel + plural letter + 3rd vowel + plural letter
en 8 en+upside down n + hook letter + 2nd vowel + plural letter + 3rd vowel + plural letter
boston - I love mermaids also :)
boston - I love mermaids also :)
Sorry, am not getting me8- don't see how to get to other letters- more of me4/5?
me8 = me+***corn (one-horned horse)+poetic word for 'before'
thank you, golux, couldnt spell the sauce!
me + upside down n + upside down u + 3rd vowel + 2nd vowel + hook letter + 2nd vowel
I'm always happy to find a fellow mermaid-lover, faerie!! I'm still waiting for the day that m-e-r-m-a-i-d turns up in the grid :)
sort of wonder why the plural of that sauce isn't included...
Ty, Golux!
ME TOO!!!!!!
yes, it should take the plural form too
YAY!!!!
yw... now i need the E in the lower right corner and one of the E's from the second column middle... anybody clue me?
wouldn't it be because the plural would be me8 sauce*s* with the plural on the sauce?
probably
it's an adjective
sounds right, atalante
to cause a sound to be heard
OK, I got the lower right E
Ok I gotta run for now but I'll see everyone later and if not I'll see you tomorrow Happy Babbling
bye, faerie!
see you later faerie
So--in French, if the noun is plural the adjective would be plural, too--but it would not pulralize by adding an "s."
Hi all, ve6/27 please
I mean pluralize, if that's a word
hi peri!
ve+the connection between your hand and your arm (minus w)
Golux, thanks
missing a ve4/7 - have what blood runs through and French word for green

*Fireworks for Bugzy!* Yay! (and that re6/18 is awaken again BTW)
yay bugzy
beautiful icon, inge! My heart stopped last week when a young female deer looked like she was going to try to cross the Interstate right in front of my car--thank god she changed her mind!
yay bugzy!
te6/21...number + abbr. for peeing problem
I have the plural of the ordinal, and the job security, and the Italina whatever,
ni5/12 - relating to the number ni4/4 (ni6/21 is plural)
yes, inge, lovely icon :)
thank, i see it now!
ty bugzy!
te6/21 - number + 5th vowel + (I am, you are, he **)
ty, bugz-- forgot to plural
fe4/5 combo after spunky?
TO - f + poetic before (and plural)
tapped out at 200 words.. back later...bye all!
ty - i tried the french brother but did n't take it far enough!
Bye Grace !
bye grace - see you later
that's the job security term at the university, still missing my te 6/21, have to run, will see what I can find after the performance, that comedienne who was written up in the free Press today. Bugzy
ty, TO--french bros!
Inge - the other te6/21 is before job security - lose the last 2 letters of job security and add the 3rd vowel and a curvy letter...
Enjoy the show, BTW, I hear she's hilarious :)
that one's not in there, libarebel
hmmmm....looking at my list, it sppears i have difficulty finding any f words over 4 letters...

French brother(s) is in there, fr5/16 and fr6/27
yes...i told you i have a proble with Fs
Thank you bugzy.
evening all
fa6/27 - a mythical creature (also the name of a babbler, fa**** kae)
Hello oggy :)
The f's are quite annoying today...
how,s everyone doing.
hi oggy...
5 of the f's start with fr4/7, french for fried...
got fry...
I've got about a half hour till I leave work, so will be doing much better in 29 minutes....
just finished
nut - i see bad storms out your way
but not refried :(
yay, oggy!
To the fr4/7, add a consonant so it's an anagram of actor Colin F****, then pluralize
we have been havng really intense thunder & lightning here in boston!
Also, double the last consonant of fr4/7. And pluralize the fr4/7.
we had one last night in Maryland--crazy lightning.
that is moving pa way
All those storms went thru here on Wed and Thurs... nice and sunny today :)
ty, bugz :)
anyone know the fr5/16 between the thing that fdoes that cooking and the first french fry word?
Bugzy--thanks for those fr clues.
one thunderclap sounded as if the sky split-- jumped a foot!
TO - dog breed bichon fr5/16
ty!
My husband calls them bitchin' frizzies...
lol, bugz!
My daughter has a bichon--she got him because they are happy, companionable dogs. His name is Snowball, of course.
hello! can i ask what may be a really dumb question? this is my first time to the site, and i've been watching the chat window, but i don't understand the way the words are being discussed. for example, what would fr5/16 refer to? and how can i read/understand the "tile stats" area? thanks for your help! i like this game, but i think i'll like it better once i understand! :)
My father in law had one, named Puppy Love. (Actually, his ex wife's.) They are cute, but this one was treated better than the children... Hence the name...
pemily - fr 5/6 means a word starts with fr and has 5 letters and is worth 16 points. 5 letter words are each letter's tile number added together times 2. 6 letter words are times 3, ect.
The stats are how many words start with a letter, or how many words are that long, and the first number is how many of them you've already guessed.
We had an adorable bichon who loved to be in the kayak with Alan--now he's in all the tourisrt literature for our island
Dr. God, I've twice changed my icon and it keeps coming back to what it was before
Hetty--I'd love to see the brochure. My daughter got her bichon at a particularly low time in her life. Snowball has cheered us all--I call him my granddog.
I was just going to say that ypsigirl! Best you scroll down to the bottom of the page pemiliy, and click on Angelson's babble page, there are all kinds of useful tips in there
Welcome pemily - also, on the bottom left of the page check out the link to Angelsong's page. Lots of info on how to play :)
so am I stuck with being a clown?
hetty: i see musical notes for you
no clown on my screen Hetty. I see musical notes?!?
ypsigirl - are you from MWT?
Hetty its MUsical notes not the clown
you look like a musical note here, hetty!
whoa!!!! dachef, new icon!
mirandapan, I don't seehow I can send you a brochure without your snailmail address.
nut - i love your little hamster...
Well on my screen I'm still and always a clown, tho twice earler I got my treble clef. Weird
evan - yeh, got bored pinching everyone else's. Was kinda under the impression people were getting unamused!
Ohh--I guess they're not online? N
Hetty send us the www.site
oh, recurring clown image-- creepy!
unamused??? but we're easy to amuse.
thanks fo reassuring me that on the chatlog I can be the musician I "fun"damentally am
nuit
Whoop
some french words, but not nuit...
Whoops! It doesn't work, however. I thought that since there were so many French words! Sorry
Yvo--which www. site are you asking for? I don't have my own--just an email <clewsa@uniserve.com>
i meant the site where the brochure is made from
nice try, tho, miranda! :)
Hetty--the tourist site for your island?
Thanks, Libarebel
thanks ypsigirl, parsec, ExWren, and Bugzy. now it makes sense!
miranda-- a switcheroo. Our bichon (named Frosty, and with us for ten happy years) belonged to our son until Simon had to give him up because of moving and so asked us to have him even tho we alt=rday had a darling dachsie. (We have never been without a dog). Simon could then visit with him at will and we hd the fun of taking both for walks--Fosty used to leap over Clancy (the dachsie) who tried valiantly--and failed --to reciprocate
dachies can't leap.. :-D
any clues for the in's
my basset hound couldn't leap either :)
Hetty--sort of grandparental custody. Sounds like fun.
interesting doggy question - how does a daschund walk up stairs with an erection?
i pulled up SAltSpring Island Canada
in5/18 and 6/30 - those who use writing fluids
uses his kickstand?
and i think its a heavenly vacation place
in6/21 - in + what a clock tells
in6/18 - in+ fork part
in 4/4 and 5/10 - use the first 4 letters of the past 2 clues, then pluralize
well, dachef?
in6/21 and 7/32 - in + spin around
libarel - no answer. Just an interesting question. Must be difficult.
in5/12 and 6/21 (2 sets) = in+(ode on a grecian ***), then change last letter to vowel, pluralize both
Dachef - bizarre sense of humor, i like it ;)
That should be it for the in's... and with that, I'm outta here. Have a lovely weekend everyone !
oh, dear my mental picture!
Thanks Bugzy....really helpful.
seriously considered that Q!
yesterday it was helen keller jokes!
answer: painfully
might be quite interesting for any daschund owners - get him all excited, and thn stand at the top of the stairs and shout "here boy!" Hur hur!
bye, all! BBL to finish! happy babbling!
lol, atalante!
libera--I said he tried valiantly. Frosty knew he couldn't leap, but the dear stumpy thing never gave up trying. Yvo, I've been to the website and the picture doesnt seem to be there--I guess you have to send for a brochure (it appears under financial ser4vices for some reason My husband and Frosty in a kayak <www.saltspringtourism.com >
how did helen keller burn her ear?
the phone rang when she was ironing?
would like to see that hetty :)
you got it, dachef!
why did HK have a yellow leg?
paddy in a pub, and in walks murphy with two burnt and swollen ears. "What happened to you?" Paddy asks. "my own fault," replies Murphy, "I was doing the ironing and the phone rang." "So what about the other ear?" asks his friend. "Oh, I had to ring him back".
looool dachef
lol, dachef! :-D

Hi! How are things in the Big Apple?
steamy and humid
Thanks, jillibus! Good clue.
It's miserable here, too.
I just grilled kabobs and was sweatin' in the marinade.
yeah, summer kicked in with a vengance lately. We had a lovely thunderstorm around midnight. Fantastic lightning.
krista, just read your profile, when do you find time to babble. you are as old as my daughter.
It is raining poodles here complete with thunder and lightening. We are supposed to drown this weekend.
we're still borderline mild drought here
ok..i have " canvas shelter" te words as follows: 4/4, 5/12, 6/21, 7/28, and 5/10...what oh what oh what am I missing?
I love DC! I went to
oops.
American University. Where in DC do you live dcseain?
krista - remove the last letter of the 7/28
Reston, VA
te6/18 between te6/21 and te728
Annie, I am of the Coffee Generation. :) Seriously, I just Babble on and off each day. The past few days, I have been off work, so I'm here more than usual.
i lived on the Hill for 8 years, and in columbia hghts for one before going back to the burbs
So do you work in DC? because you don't live there.
ahha.....nice areas.
i work in Tysons Corner
but like a lot of us who grew up in NoVA, i identif y w/DC MUCH more than VA
I lived around American and worked in a restaurant on Dupont Circle after college.
Hey Darci..thanks! I NEVER would have gotten that....My husband worked there for a while...the huge brick building right by the malls...Towers Crescent.
which restaurant?
It's been a long time. Now I only get there for reunions.
The Front Page
I left DC for Boston sometime around 1991 so it might be gone by now.
oh, ok. they closed recently i think. or are they still there and the pool place is gone. hm. i'll have to check next i'm over there
i lived in Boston 93/94, in North Dorcheseter near JFK/UMASS station.
oh yeah, that was in dupont circle.
I wouldn't know. I missed our last reunion because I was in my 3rd trimester.
too bad about the pool joint.
I don't know how they stayed in business for so long with all the staff drinks they gave us all. I was usually wasted by the time I finished a shift.
yeah, Buffalo Billiards it was called. My friends and i used to go there a lot
Hubby commted to Tyson's Corner for a while. It was awful! The traffic, oy.
LOL. Wow, ABC would never allow that to happen in VA
LOL, Minksi!
I work at 10AM or 7AM, so i miss the worst of rush hour on the toll road.
I don't remember the pool place. It must have been there deeper into the 90's
i'm so homesick
OK. I'll ask. What do you do for a living seain?
just look at me - I'm a mess
You are from DC, mab?
i work helpdesk for a software company. today i've not been very productive, but i have a database again, so i can start testing again on Monday.
sounds like what I used to do but last hired first fired and I couldn't get another tech job.
ended up working in a bookstore for 3+ years.
born and grown in Minnesota, most recently lived for about decade in dc. now in western mass (ack)
Maybe you could have a Pac Man tourney with the boss.
:) We do more foosball usually
the guys in my department used to play intraoffice renegade.
renegade?
a computer game played on the internet where they hunt down and kill each other.
first-person shooter?
oh, doesn't matter. Mab, how's the commute from say, Palmer, to Hartford? Any idea?
you would choose a character and could name it whatever you wanted and choose whatever weapon you wanted. I never played but loved listening to the sound effects over the cubicle 1/2 walls while trying to pay attention to idiots who don't know how to turn off their computers ask dumb questions.
LOL. That's the nice thing about enterprise software support, fewer total idiots to support.
I've gotta go for now. It's bathtime then bedtime for baby. Back much later. I still have 80 words left to find.
yeah, me too...kids want to go back outside into this awful humidity...how dare they disturb my Babbling? Geesh!
I'll sit outside with my grid while they play, tho. :)

Me too. Anyone have the last re6/18? I have the tree sap and going up again.

dawn, to foil temptation or a technique in art like batiking.
Dawn - last re6/18 is what you must do when offered a 2nd cream cake.
jac, "eat it" isn't a word
Thank you Jacula & FranMag
LOL leslieann
lol leslieann!!
yw dawn!
LOL, LeslieAnn.
me6/21 anyone?

FranMag - eeney, me****, miney, mo...
LA, your nautilus is particularly striking!
Those Guylian seashell chocs are yummy!
i'm not even sure exactly what it is, but very pretty!
Leslie - looks like a fractal of a Nautilus shell.
yes jac, first thing i thought of when i saw that the theme was sea shells
oh yes, fractal, i believe that's right
yes leslie, it's a nautilus shell
thanks jacula! for the me6/21
y/w FranMag. I'm leaving my three unfound re's for now and moving on...
would like a random re clue jac?
2 of them have to be rer's, FranMag.
one is re5/12 what TV Land shows
another one is re6/18 get up again
Got that one, thanks. The 2 I mentioned are between 'get up again' and what the TV stations show.
you probably have this one, last re7/44 is one who does re5/18s perhaps
i needed 'em both thanks fran
jac, there isn't one in between them
Thanks for that re7. I hadn't got it but found it from your clue.
evening! just starting here
hi feather
anyone have a hint on the i word that originates from the i fourth over in the bottom row? I have the it4/5 but need the other...
hi feather!
hey feather!
hi everyone! checking out the icons before i start...
i + place where coal is found
how is it today? rough, easy?
hi boston
thanks Annie
hi Fran! how are you?
Franmag - I'd written one in the wrong place - it's the re's between the TV shows and not having the 2nd cream cake that I need.
feather, it's about like yesterday's, but a little easier i thought, got stuck on the I words though
just fine boston!
i love all the shells, they are so pretty, especially Fran's yummy shell
Got them -
hmm, looks like fewer vowels possibly. have i mentioned i hate vowels?
jac, tree sap
i also hate vowels feather
thanks annie! chocolate seems to be popular around here!
not in the middle of words as much as at the beginning of them
Thanks, FranMag - I got them just before you clued. I suppose you could also clue them as 'to be bad again... and again.' LOL.
exactly my point leslie! :P
i thought of that too jac, but i knew you would get the tree clue also

Thanks ping, that was it. I had the french next to it--din't recognize the word tho
icloset, a name that needs only an invention to go with it
LOL, Freckle, it's an old meaning for the word.

hetty, when i clued i**** i accidently typed i + place where coat is found instead of coal, hence, icloset!
: )
Debbs - I wish someone would clue that se7 you want because I need that and the se6 before it, too.

Helen - Yes, I think I've seen Jai today. Why? What happened?

Onto my missinh si's now...

ty franmag,,,babbling is keeping me from baking and eatin it all tonight - LOL!
it was late & i missed her by a couple of minutes, she was gone already
just found out what the seine was yesterday, i remembered you said you were an angler so i thought about you when i read the def.
thats too bad - she's awesome - i love her big clue lists
ok, 170 left, getting the list
yes deb - i totally agree, she's a great clue-giver, & clearly has as much, if not more fun cluing than babbling! i wanted to let her know she was appreciated!

peri, tu+exists
peri
she said person wo corrected her was going on vacation... (?)
thanks fran!!
peri u need the plural of the rotation one
no lib - not going - 'was'
Peri - you know that et4 needle case? Its a plural of that but without the intial letter. French familiar form of 'you' + 'to exist'.
Freckle, have that one, thanks FranMag, that was the one I needed
oh, had gone?
yw peri
yep - that's what i recall
she is usually here at this time-- maybe more storms; getting it here!
well, we'll have to give jaia a big welcome next time!
it's weird how storms affect computers - i would hate to lose all this work!
need help with ae5 and ae6
Helen - always, always, always make back-up copies!
peri, ae5 is breathy or eagle's nest
peri-ae6/18 is like more oxygen
oh, yes-- the surge protector doesn't work for lightning
ae6 is more breathy
lol jacula- uh, how do i do that?
can i have a hint for the first EN? don't have any, figure that will at least get me started
both ae's are ike our dear fa****without the "f"
thanks everyone, got the ae words
FranMag - everytime I see your present icon flash up out of the corner of my eye I think AKnitter is here!
feather, the whole thing
en6/21--whole
k
th frist "en" is synonym for "whole"
jac, isn't aknitter a sheep?
um, 6/18
i guess from the corner of your eye it might look like aknitter's icon! :-)
Helen - you save your work/photos/whatever to either floppy disc or CD-R.
Fran - Yes, it's a sheep with red knitting.
brb, baby is awake
hey jacula - before you tell me how to back this up - what happened with your washing machine yesterday?
I use zips or cd's...
stuck at 96 and hate to beg for clues but I will ask for a few more, need help with AF words please
I'm still trying to figure out what coal is put in
like regular cd's the kind thta play music?
NM found the AF words
en8?
af5/16 and and af6/27 hints plz plz plz
it's where coal is from, htty
Helen - the washing machine is now well again. It must have been unbalanced by the big load of towels followed by the bathroom mats. I baled it out with a cup and then set it to drain with nothing in it. After that, it worked fine.
the af's, poeri, are French fries in the making
gotcha
the en8 is the en 5/12 + not your brother your ***ter
i hate re s also...
that's great jacula !!!! thank goodness it wasn't something major - i'm kinda surprised that's never happened to you before - you must be an excellent laundress, lol
ty
ea6/18 anyone
---only it doesn't work. in what?
Helen - not quite, re the CD's. They look the same though. They are recordable CD's (CD-R's) but you need a CD drive to use them.
ea6/18 is more than the oneabove
ea 6/18 - is this puzzle harder or ea****
er5/10 and er4/4 hints
i +coal m***
the clue is for im 5 i + where coal is found
er 5/10 what you do to clean a blackboard

Thankd you Anie.l I have a daughter Alison wom I call "Annie" because her brother as a toddler could only call her "Aninon" and it stuck. Anyway, my daughter Annie is sweet like you
fa5/16 hints plz
thank you, hetty.
I have 2 of them freckle-wayf____(person), and plural of fa3/7. Both have the same root 4/7
that should have been fa4/7 obviously-not 3/7
anyone have those un's ? 6/21 and un 5/14
the fe 5/16 immediately after the 6/27?
Helen - Sorry, was concentrating on the grid. Yes. I'm a bit tired now but if you have any probs let me know and I'll sort you out tomorrow.
debbinia-don't have the 6, but have a un5/14 that means needs which go unasnwered
Does anyone have the ME6/21 and the ME8/50 please?
the ar 6,18 is first 3 letters of ar 4/4 + a coal ***e
ok jacula - clear skys here - so no rush :)
Jacula, when are you leaving on your trip??
for me what you order from in a restuarant
debb, I am missing an ar4/4 and I think that is the one I need. I have rear end and plural of I am, you a***
ar 4/4 - british slang for backside? :P
Debb, I am not missng an ar, just can't figure out your clue
Annie - next Friday night.
imy clue was from the rear end one - thre are only 2 ar 4's
lovely, have a great trip! will miss your clues.
don't get the ar...
Debb, it won't accept the word
peri...did you get that last ar 5/10? I am missing it too and would love a little nudge
ok, let me try again - ar + curvey letter + not in + 2nd vowel
i screwed that up - sorry -- ar + curvy letter + not OUT + 2nd vowel
(sorry!!)
Got it now, thanks debb, was going a little crazy for a few minutes
Thanks, Annie.x
that worked, ty, debb!

yw, peri!
Minski, Beautiful daughter!
I have the reverse of the usual typing it in the wrong box syndrome tonight; I keep typing messages in the Add Word box!
Hi munner!!!
Hiya Munner.
Hey, Annie.
well Hac at least that way you don't have to apologise to anyone
Love your shells, Jacula
Thanks Munner.
Hi Eva & Merp.
meant Jac
mrrrrp
mi 7/32 - tastes more like menthol
yep, jac-- hi, all not found in dict.
Did anyone ever give a clue for me 6/21?
I might have to apologise to Dr_God if the grid explodes because I keep trying to type sentences in the Add Word box. LOL.
would if I could munner-hope someone does
Minski, eenie, m*****, miney, moe
Yes, Munner, it has been clued.
Peri's beaten me to it. LOL.
thanks peri!
yw , Eva
I meant Munner
Thanks. I was spelling it wrong.
the second in 6/21?
This is getting like that comedy sketch where 4 people are talking but looking at the wrong person as they speak. Hilarious.
peri, it wont take meenie
in+vase and then plural
I have 2 friends/neighbours who each have a 'lazy' eye. The eye in each case is the opposite and wanders in the opposite direction. Watching those two talk to each other ... Well, THEY made the joke about it.
higher up eva, that's the last one! ;)
anyone have the last re6/18
how do you guys know what you've got left to find? I'm only missing 1 T-word from the T at the top but don't know how to work out ho many letters it is
I have friends coming over in just a bit so I won't finish my final 30 BUT I'd love to finish the 7s and I have two more: ru 7/36 and se 7/28 (don't have the 6/18 before it in case they're related)
Cal - if you go Pro (pay) you get stats.
the one before is to become hardened to and the one before that it the opposite of being late
Cal-go to Lickety's list or Babbler's Anonymous.
cal go to: http://licketysplitaus.googlepages.com /babbleclues.html
shutterbug, yes it will change the third letter in your word to the third vowel
Thanks
Apologies in advance everyone for very late clues for the next flip - Daughter has two ballet concerts - midday and evening and I'll be out. Should be posting about 5 hours after flip. Gotta run.
Okay. Missing si's are sorted. On to my missing 'st'.
Lickety = Okay by me in UK. LOL.
thanks peri
eva, i'm missing the one in between the two you clued. i'm sorry!
It's fireworks for me. Can't believe this frazzed brain figured out the last three w/o asking for hints.
shutterbug, yw
congrats munner!
congrats to you, Munner
hooray munner!
kristin-for the ru7 think of the smallest one in the litter and make it more so
Well done, Munner!
yay munner!!
i'm back to clue! hi kristin
hi eva!
hi fran!
eva...I have that one (it is a 7/32 right?)
hi fran!
yup-so there
sorry kristin-haven't looked at any lists so didn't realize there were 2
Got the missing st (the first - s + minutes, hours, seconds, years etc.). Onto the te's...
so...how about the 7/36....how are they related?
anyone have the mi6/24's
no worries eva...ignore my last post then...we can both use the word when it arrives :)
kristin, the other ru7 is built off the same word and means like a ru4/5
hooray! that will help both eva and I...thanks!
thanks for trying eva as well!
pab, one adds a "sort of" ending to the mi4/5 which means little
thanks fran!
fran...do you have the se 6/18 and 7/28 for me? :) bats eyelashes
other mi6/24 is a piece of music
congrats munner - work keeps interfering with my babbling
ok I give up!--what's the e from the bottom right corner?
mi6/24 - if you lessen something it di*****es. The *'s are your word. 2nd mi6/24 - a 3/4 time dance for couples that originated in France in 17th century.
kristin, add opp of out to the dry se4/4 then plural
acan anyone help with the te 6/21 after the te 7/32
hooray! 7's conquered
yippe kristinc
boston, think of a flightless bird and add an E before the last letter
thanks guys, I kept looking at that dance only i spelled it like time segment
need help with te7/32 please
bostonmermaid - probably the em4/6 word that adds a vowel to an Australian bird.
and a knock at the door...thanks for the help, other 26 will have to wait :)
hello everyone..hows todays grid looking?
Think Rod Hull & Em* - who famously attacked Michael Parkinson live on UK TV.
debb, sounds like italian, number + letter that sounds like opp of me + man's neckwear minus last letter

I cannot type today I was hoping for 100
Bostonmermaid - it is indeed one of the Babblets.
congrats to to!!
i just don't get that foil temptation
aleksia, there are a whole bunch of words you can build off the top left corner tiles, the E, S, A and R
I just remembered to add those 2 uv's
nevermind, duh
pab, when you don't give in to temptation you do this
pabtrek, it's hard to re**** double fudge brownies!
jacs: may i have a bit of baking wisdom?
feather, why even try???
TO - What is is you want to know?
hehe, i agree
i have a recipe for smore cupcakes..itis flourless so do i not expect dense and fudgy?

TO: S'MORE CUPCAKES 10 tablespoons butter 1¾ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips 6 eggs ¼ cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line muffin tin with cupcake wrappers. Melt butter and chocolate in saucepan over low heat until smooth. Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer on high speed until thick and pale yellow (about 3 minutes). Pour chocolate mixture into egg mixture and stir until combined. Pour chocolate batter into prepared muffin tins until quite full (almost to the top of each tin). Bake for 14 minutes. Let cool. Marshmallow Frosting 1½ cups sugar 2 egg whites 1/3 cup water 2 teaspoons light corn syrup ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Garnish 12 graham cracker sticks 24 chocolate pocky sticks Put sugar, egg whites, water, corn syrup and cream of tartar in a large metal bowl and beat with electric mixer until ingredients are just incorporated (about 15 seconds). Place bowl over saucepan of simmering water (do not allow bottom of bowl to touch water), and beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for 4 minutes. Increase speed to high and beat for an additional 3 minutes until mixture if very thick. Remove bowl from simmering water. Add vanilla extract and continue beating for another 5 minutes. Fill pastry bag filled with a large tip with marshmallow frosting. Pipe a generous amount of marshmallow onto each cupcake. Insert one graham cracker stick and two chocolate-covered Asian pocky sticks through the frosting and into the cupcake. (It works better to insert them before they're browned.) Using a culinary torch, carefully brown the marshmallow quickly and evenly, being careful not to let it catch fire (the sugar burns easily!). This step can also be done under a broiler, but don't put the graham cracker sticks and pocky sticks in the cupcakes until they come out of the broiler. Makes 12 cupcakes.
ty
Is that the recipe you have?
culinary torch? can i come over to your house jac?
will someone take pity and look over my list of 7's for the missing ones? Whimper, grovel, beg
yes!
Debbs - it's a small blowtorch used for finishing off sugar-topped things like custards.
i'm impressed!
ve6/27 ve + sounds like the thing connecting your hand to your forearm
eva, you need another re7/44 and se7/28, have to look again for the third
fran, got the first five letters ok...lost on the last part
Jac-what in heaven's name is a pocky stick?
Well, TO, it seems the recipe inventor got a prize so I would try the recipe. I've not made those cupcakes myself so can't comment.
in7, eva
thank you so much fran!
Eva - No idea! I c & p'd that recipe off the net because I guessed it was the one TO was referring to.
feather, not h*** nor th***
in 7 is a plural of the in6 above it
that did it, thanks!
fran-could you give me the 3rd letter in that re7/44 please?
a pocky sti ck is a chocolate straw
mmmm, chocolate straws
eva, it's probably the one who does re5/18s, last re word
thanks to-must not have that in 6 yet
Eva - I'd say they are like those chocolate sticks you can buy, the name escapes me right now, you get them in mint, orange, coffee and plain, I think.
my general question is about flourless cakes
Flourless cakes, TO, can still be tasty. I'd say try the recipe and let us now how it comes out.

Looking at the recipe, TO, I'd say the base is going to be dense, chewy and chocolatey.
franmag: they did indeed look like chocolate straws not pretzels

thanks fran-that does it for the 7's, Have 41 left to go, but have an all day meditation retreat tomorrow and if I don't get enough sleep I'll be nodding off all day, so time to close the computer and read for a while to quiet down my babble brain.
bye eva!
Okay - I'm using Lickety's list to check on what's missing. According to that list I have all the words. However, according to the Babstats I've got an r and a t word missing. One is a 6 and the other a 7. I need to check BJ's trusty list. I do hope it's there.
isn't that the point of a meditation retreat?
falling asleep? No. Alert relaxation, yes.
Leslie - No. The point is to meditate, I think, not snore.
ahhh i see ;)
back from bedtime - 105 to go - yikes!
although we Americans tend to be so sleep deprived that someone is always snoring away at retreats
night, eva!

I've seen re;atives not much older than I am now die in hospices from cancer, and my Dad, who lived a healthy life, die in a nursing home from Alzheimer's (senile dementia). Well, he didn't die from that but from the normal cause - busy staff trying to get liquid food or drink down the incapacitated , but it then ending up in their lungs and so causing that oh so familiar death certrificate thing they call 'pneumonia'.
Not getting heavy here, was just commenting.
