jilli - there is a lot of symmetry on this grid
expensive then?
teat
Now now melon, no calling names hm!
not again - i'm a boob.

forte forte forte forte pi***forte. there that should get it out of my system. >.<
there were 3 of us - we all like to sample, so we cut everything in thirds! everything was very fresh, it's a casual place, but has a kind of relaxed, refined atmosphere

Sure Fran, my eyes are crossing and the bottom L is bugging me, can't seem to focus on it. I have lo4/4, I know it's going to be an easy one.
Just got it, sorry!
i knew you'd see it!
I knew it was going to be easy, grrr
was it the one that stays in that corner?
or the cut of beef?
brb, baby is crying
it was the one, like folkL***
Now I want folkl*** ! Lots of phantoms today.
LOL sprite! I wanted important, don't ask me why, but I kept seeing it :)
the one i wanted was pi5/12forte
Yeah, same here! And I still think pirofant is a beautiful word. :D
pirofant, an elephant dance.
with a tutu mind you :)
Oh yes! A pink tutu :)
anybody get pi7 or pi8?
don't laugh, there's a dancing elephant in a pink tutu on sesame street!
LOL
brb, doggie needs to go potty, she won't stop staring at me :)
LOL! I have the 8, not the 7.
pi7 is a safe place for a pastry
Inside my stomach?
pi8 is a type of old-fashioned dress, also the name of a musical
lol sprite!
hmmmm
miller, pi7 is a compound word
first word is apple p**?
yes miller, now think of a safe place that attaches to that
think cherry or apple pi*+ **** Dix, **** Apache, or an Army ****
For the 8: start with the Big Bird from same Sesame street :) Change last vowel.
Then not afterward but be****
thanks for the good glues for that pi8
ty, got the 7
here in USA, the big bird is named Big Bird!
LOL, I was just thinking that Miller! LOLOL
At least, thats the only Big Bird I remember, but that was years ago.
Think Gilbert and Sullivan
Seriously? LOL! Always thought at least the name was international. Okay, in that case: start with a kind of needle, then a vowel.
i forgot for a minute that sprite was not in the U.S.
was getting very confused...and i already have the word!! lol
LMBO Fran!!!
Actually, the name we use in Dutch Sesame Street sounds very Spanish!
I needed that laugh, thanks all! LOLOL
Oh yippee! A "Munters" marathon!
Woo Hoo! Fireworks!
Munsters*
yay Miller!
yay miller!!!
thanks all, good night!
Wtg Miller

Some link, pfew!
he looks just like ours, but our's is yellow
Funny, those differences. Well, here goes nothing, sorry for the useless clue!
Sorry for what? I learned something new :)
lol, true, we just justified our playing for today :D
See, now you know our's is yellow and nmaed Big Bird :)
exactly! :)
your big bird is so cute!
very cute!
Exactly, from now on I am a little bit more of a SesameStreet expert :)
lol, as am I !
just think if we had used a clue like 'the color of big bird'! Sprite would have been lost!
I want titato to be a word too. "Mum, can I play titato with the pirofant?" "Sure love, go right ahead!"
I know!
LOL sprite!
Yeah, that would have sent me on a wild goose chase :)
sounds like the words my son makes up!
Your son and I are of a mind :)
could be sprite, he's quite intelligent!
What could be the reason to give Big Bird a different colour in Europe?
lol!
and a name
I really have no idea, Daily Dog. I was wondering the same thing.
I kinda like the blue bird better, love that color!
does yellow have a negative connotation sprite? i know big bird could be taken the wrong way!!
Flemish nationalism?
No, yellow has no specific connotation, not like in english. You'd expect it to be the other way around.
When I was a kid I had a Fisher Price Ses. Str. Big Bird was yellow there. It was very confusing.
i guess it could have been something as trivial as yellow feathers were not available when they were making the costume.
The German Bib Bird is grey too
It might very well be something like that, Fran.
Now for some reason I want piranha.
clue for piranha: pitbull guppie. Too bad it isn't in the grid.
i haven't seen it in a grid yet, of course i've only been playing daily since May, i think that would be a hard word to spot right away.
It's been in grids, I think I remember.
well, i have a bunch of CDs to label before tomorrow. anyone want a quick clue before i go?
I still need 30, so too early for me to start nagging you, thanks. Have a nice day/night and see you, Fran!

as you can see-I'm stil on this unfamiliar computer.
LOL Eva, still enjoying the city life? and what of Merp?
The city life is fine except terribly hot and I'm missing my garden and swimming. It has been very eery seeing how Merpt, back in his old haunts after such a long absence, has resumed all the old habits, even old personality traits. Also, when we moved to Vermont he began on a new kind of food, the all raw diet, which he loves, but when he got back here suddenly he wouldn't eat it. I didn't know what was going on, but when we ran out of it, and I opened up a can of the old stuff, he plowed into it. Memory conditioning.
How's life on your side of the pond?
That is interesting re Merp. Very hot over here to high 80's, lovely sunny day but half the nation is down re loosing the football last night and the other half is up as that is the end of the bloomiing thing dominating everything!!!
(but I didn't say that if anyone asks)!!
being the yank that I am I didn't even know about the loss. My sympathies. If you don't pretend to be avid does your house get egged or something?
LOL no it's not that bad. Movieman will be devastated as he is really passionate about the game for example but I can take it or leave it. However it was great seeing howmany people were flying flags on their cas in the build up, for once the nation united about something (more or less).
we should send chocolates to movieman
bath time. see you later.
Bye, see you later.

Good morning hetty! - hint for the fi6/33 posted below.
Thanks Haz, but since I'm working alphabetically I dont have those others yet. I
good morning, hetty!
When a stone is thrown into a pond it produces something with the same ending as the fi6/33
think of a body part covered by your bra that would start with ni. lots of words come from it, including your fi
I'll leap ahead hopefully. Someone was askng for you last night at 4 a.m., your time--said doyennes shouldn't need to sleep!
Oh sleep is necessary to keep the brain cells renewed!
hanks Haz-now I have 3 words! Morning Annie. I'm shooting for 50 words before church
woop woop woop... it's too hot to live today D8
Not to mention keeping the bags under the eyes at bay!
Hello Miyavi - is it hot hot hot?
going to the supermarket, be back later
Haz, it's hot hot hot hot HOT HOT HOT... in fact, one might almost say it was VERY hot. how's the weather where you are?
Thanks to you also, featherbee. Have a happy day
Bye Annie - see you later.
good morning
why dorens, i almost didn't recognize you!
The weather is just pleasant here, Miyavi. Quite humid but not unbearably so. Nearly finished school?
Good morning, Dorens.
too hot here, clues for 2nd pi5/12 pls
two more weeks D8 ...hm, I can just imagine it...the bliss of being crammed into an overheated maths class with thirty other sweaty bodies...:/ ah, but only two more weeks ^^
The second pi5/12 is the name of a famous statue, or a dessert plus shortened thanks.
i don't recognize myself, and i think i want my ferns back1
ok, got 50 words so far, good stopping point
lol, i felt that way when i did the chick flick theme! couldn't find myself in chat!
thank you Haz
You're welcome MVA.
bbl
Bye featherbee (I like your recognisable icon)
how is it that some poeple change their icon only when you open profile, but seem to keep their proprietary icon on the chat...or does it just seem that way?
and bye feather
I'm not sure of the technicalities of it - you probably need to refresh your own page to see people's new icons, especially if they change them mid-grid.
ah, and I am not a frequent refresher, thanks Haz
or clear your cache?
now you're getting way beyond my technical capabilities.
:o)
Ah, people keep talking about clearing caches. My eyes just glaze over at that point!
...Moozey, that has got to be one of the best icons I have ever seen 8D
thank you
again please help with some pi words. i need pi 4/5 the first one and pi 5/12 the second, third and foruth 12's pleeeese. then i'l be finished
pi4/5 the first - remove the vowel from the musical instrument
pi5/12 - the second, dessert (coming in different varieties) plus British/baby form of thanks
pi5/12 after the pi6/21 - a sharp needle-like thing followed by the first letters of Mr Redding
grape type
pi5/12 - unit of liquid measurement followed by vowel, - the first and the fourth
urgh...anyone got a clue for the two eights, please?
one is preceded by HMS
...well, not 'victory'...xD
Or it's something you wear for cooking, or doing the housework. (pi8/60)
thanks for the clue ^^
he8/45 - extension of the painful he6/21 (bulge in stomach wall), pi8/60 - sleeveless dress or, as Dorens says, a naval operetta by Gilbert and Sullivan
no, it's the pi---i'm trying to be as cryptic as possible, miyavi
2nd pi 4/5 pls
The second pi4/5 is an anagram of the first
monkeyed it
pi 4/5 is part of the word below it
really hard now, and only 6 to go
pi4/55 an alcoholic drink
go mvva!
thanks for the clues guys, i have 1 to go , the fourth pi 5/12
Thanks to our doyenne I have 53 words now and I'm off to church singing airs from HMS Pi******
Oh I wish I could hear you hetty! You have exceeded your target, as well. Have a lovely day.
The fourth pi5/12 is the imperial liquid measurement plus the first vowel. It was also one of Christopher Columbus' ships.
no,no the fifth 5/12
HMS...ahahah! *gets it now* thanks Dorens, and Hetty (unwittingly XD)
Then it's the imperial measurement plus the fourth vowel
"Nevermind the why and wherefore/Love can level ranks and therefore/ admit the jurisdiction ably have you played your part---":
may i have a clue for the at 5/12, please?
Oh, Hetty, what a great clue!
at5/12 - add a stumble to get the word
ok really now its the third pi. for sure this time
ah thanks, had to think a minute haz...i like that kind of clue
Then it's the grape type. First three letters the sharp thing, then reverse TO get the last bit
You're welcome Dorens.
thank you so much haz for bearing with me thru all the confusion. i finally got the fireworks.
hooray for magzel!!!
Congratulations magzel! And I'm glad to help.
Congratulations amgel on your fireworks!Good for U!

LMAO Minveryork!
I am getting to it
ai4/4 what we breathe, plus a beverage sounding letter
ai + the lat two letters of what I've been dealing with in the garden this morning
pr6/30 - the opposite of loss
Flosey ai 4/4 is ai the ending of another word for soil
ah, thank you dorens and minveryork
yw

No problem flosey.I am happy to clue whenever I can!
Hello, everyone!!!!!!
tr4/7 - t plus a shortened version of a match official
MVA, thr 4/7 rhymes with another word for a cook.
Hello movieman - are you recovered from yesterday?
hello movieman
has anyone got a clue for the NO6/18 plz?
thanks, only 1 left now
Hello movieman! How are you? Welcome to the puzzle!
Just about Haz, though I will never EVER forgive Mr. Ronaldo for his antics.....
no6/18 - has the same ending as the circulating ro6/18
Movieman - can you imagine what pre-season training is going to be like with Man Utd?
ty haz
Haz1558,I'm having trouble with you opposite of loss clue for pr 6/30.Can you please give a different clue?
You're welcome, jakes-mum!
Exactly Haz, If I was Rooney I would stick one on the cretin as soon as possible.......
pr + zero + what I'm trying to get when I go to the gym
Never mind Haz,I just got it. I wasn't thinking money
I went to a Elton John concert last night, and Elton John came on and said "What about that cheating f****** b****** Ronaldo, I hope someone f****** punches that little c***". Good start to the concert!
Okay - first three letters for opposite of amateur, then a word meaning athletic or well trained.
Glad you've got it Minver!
I've never had more respect for Elton than I have right now after hearing about that, Dachef.....
good morning, folks
I guess that Elton has a mouth on him. I wonder if he had some drinks before? Who was he talking about?
fireworks!!!! Thanks for your help
He was talking about Cristiano Ronaldo, Minver, the little cheating f***** who playacts for Portugal......
A certain Portuguese footballer who probably managed to get England's best player sent off in the World cup match.
minver you got that 6/30 yet
Congratulations MVA on your fireworks!Good for you
there is a footballer who plays for portugal but also plays in England (or, at least, used to), and he cheated in the football yesterday and England got knocked out!
Congratuations MVA!
Congrats mva
(there is a certain bitterness with English football fans today)
How does the first pr 5/12 add up to 12 points. I see the numbers on the tiles, but how does that equal 12?
yay yay mva!
And did anyone else notice, or see in the papers, the wink that he gave as Rooney was being led off the pitch?
Minver, when the word is five letters long, the points are doublled
Yes, tiny I got it. I was not thinking business terms.
5 letter words are double point value, and p is worth 2 points.
Movieman - maybe he just had a bit of grit in his eye....
Yeah but the tiles add up to 8 and 8 x 2 doesn't = 12.
Minver, it's 2+1+1+1+1=6x2 I'm not sure where you're getting "8"
1 plus 2 plus 2 plus 2 is..... movieman, name that movie!
Oh, sorry! I was looking at the wrong word! Me bad!
Could it be "Se7en", Leslie?
Does anyone have a clue for the pr 5/12 word please
hiya leslie
Time for me to go - have a good day, everyone.
Actually,I need both pr 5/12 words if you have them.
actually it is 1 +2+2+1 is... from Clue. when he's counting the bullets in the gun at the end.
The pr 5/12 is what you do at Kinko's if you don't have a pr***er at home
the written word mass produced
that your cute boy leslie???
Or, well, there's always tiny's clue :D
nope it is donkey lips from the acclaimed nickelodeon sitcom "Salute Your Shorts"
oh, guess i need to watch more tv
The other is a shortened word, it's the common english word for what is properly called a pr***etariat
kissy prissy :D
lol forget to change back boxes
rennie!!!!
um i think it went off the air like 10 years ago ;)
I can't believe no-one else went for the lips from the opening credits of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show".....

Minver the other pr 5/12 think about when you come out of jail early but drop first vowel
Anyone care to chuck a few cluez for the 7's & 8's in the general direction of the Moviemeister, plz?
Back to football, I believe that Elton needs to take a chill pill! It is only a game! My husband gets like that about Baseball and I always tell him it is only a game.
i did my own lips....or i guess there are more teeth than lips
would anyone have a clue for the Pi7 plz?
many of the sevens rhyme with the top of a baby's bottle
h8 - an uncomfortable ailment for a man after lifting too much, and extend it
those lips stand out ren...they are RED
now i feel better. literal
refresh
Minver, it's worth far more than a "game" when it's at that level. There are millions of dollars and livelihoods at stake
i like the personalized icons, folks. well done.
pi8 - a dress in the usa and an apron across the pond...or gilbert & sullivan's hms pi******

Why spend millions of dollars on just a game?I believe way too much money is put into professional sports!
Does anyone have a clue for the pi 6/21 word please?

that's entirely possible, sj
This is the fifth time I've finished and still no FWs for me. That is another reason I should upgrade to pro.
Although non-pro players have gotten fireworks b-4.
do you have a slow connection minver? sometimes it takes a few minutes to load
min non-pro get FW for the first 2 weeks and thats it.
This is the earliest I have ever finished the grid!I am usually up at 1:00 A.M. trying to finish.Guess it helps to stay up until 2:30 to get a head start! It still took me a long time to finish the grid though. And I did not finish the grid the first two weeks I joined.I took me awhile before I could ever finish the grid. FWs will be an incentive for me to upgrade to pro some day soon
any clues for he5/12 please?

think throwing a pebble into a pond - you'd get
fi6/ni6/ri6/ti6 end like the thing William Tell shot off his son's head...

1st...3rd...4th...and 10th
pi 7 means a double-thick coin, usually French. I don't happen to have any of those.
there's the musical instrument, + numsical instrument minus the last vowel, then the famous statue
you should have the first three now,and the lat you want is a famous boat, the nina, the ----
famous statue??
Flask1, a Michaelangelo -- a statue of Mary and the fallen Jesus.
any clue for the pr 7?
in the vatican...
okay, think of the dessert + short form of British bye bye
pr 7: adjective that describes something that is lying down
pr 7, start with a lying down position..ends with what I did with my lunch
could anyone offer a clue on one of the O words? I have the 4/4 that sounds like a French airport.
The Ps are making everyone crazy, I see--anyone have a clue for the pi 6/21?

I also have the o that describes something laden with decoration.
One of the Os means highly decorated, with too many flourishes

and the other has a pointed thing on the end!
did you look up snakes in your area? is it's head round or triabular?

*triangular
still can't get the statue!
Thank you, Dorens! I never would have gotten that on my own
Help with the 2 8's please??????
dessert + short form of birish farewell
Flask1, the statue is like a dessert filled with fruit, plus add half of a breezy way of saying goodbye.
pi 8 comes after HMS, if you're a brit
pi 8 , what little girls wear over their dresses rumple
the statue is five lettes. Try a dessert (pi*) with an abbreviated form of goodbye on the end (**-ta!)
ty mymusieme, got that one!!
it's head is smushed
only need he8,45 now
the other 8 is he---comes off the he6 and he 7
before it was smushed nut...was it round or triangular?
the other has to do with injuring your back
verb
closest i can figure is the norther water snake
yeah, i actually did it to one of my discs many many years ago
i dunno rennie dear, you know what smushed means right?
The snake conversation slithering in and out of chat is surreal.
what do northern water snakes do? what do they feed on?
not back but maybe groin or belly area
Got it. Strange because I just found out I have 3 he******* discs in my lower back.
he*******d disc is the condition I associate with the word
haven't got that far yet
oh poor rumple....much pain?
yes...smushed meants crushed....flattened....

in the course of doing the Starbuck's contest (which I lost, but helped three other people to win)... I found a website called crosswordbebop
i need a pee, 2 p's to be exact: pi 7/44 and pr 7/32.
from there I found another three sites, where I do puzzles every day:

yesterday got all 6 sets in 32 seconds, which is my record... usually I come in around 2 mins now
the problem site puzzles are more word games, and I love those... especially if you click on the quote puzzler section, where there are ones you can compete with others on
so fran, did i miss you telling me whose lips those are?
hee, daniel's loving his ravioli...going "aahhhmm!!! nuuumm!!!"
feather, if you want to find the link later, I put it in my profile

BRAVO everyone. Sorry the sub delivery came to the door.
subs i love subs. i live out in the middle of no where, no delivery here
this is one of the beauties of our recent move to town!
sigh, a delivery of food, how novel and idea.
i love it. Everyone can get exactly what they want and someone else cooks it! We especially enjoy it on Sunday evenings because I typically cook a big noon meal
okay I'm going to go eat mine now. See you all tomorrow
and paper plates make it all complete!

I'm going nuts over the ti5/10 that's not the giant
would it be the measurement ti5/10?
miranda, do you knoiw any French? It's french for "title" that you need
ti5/10-- rhymes w/ an angle box for a saw-- a mi*** box...
hi everyone!
hi, TO!
and it's almost the ame--just one letter different, so your monkey should get it.
Yes! Thank you both--don't know why I wasn't looking for a French word!
jilli, I dont see any measurement ti5--?
It is also a measurement, says this science grad -- concentration of a substance - click the question mark!
nipping out to get my vodka nip...
what's today's theme?
Well gee, thanks jillli--always glad to learn some science.
me, too. I'm thinking about how to use it in a sentence.
seems to me I remember something about ti**ation in chemistry
the ti 5/10 word?
that's whta we're chatting about, TO
used in medical - in blood work , they take ti5's for different things
my pants are ti*** than yours!
Not pronounced the French way, though

yw
FI 6/33 & FO 6/27 clues please
Fi 6/33 rhymes with the rubber top on a baby bottle.
fo 6/27 is fo plus if you don't write script you do this minus the p
Good evening to my fellow Babblers! How is everyone?
I'm ashamed I took so long to get the giant 5/10 - our kennel name is Ti***dane!
fo6/27 is french for "finished" --in English means subjecttoi change or dissipatioin--God is INFI****
soirry--thats fi6/27!
hi min!
I'm back to give out clues if anyone needs any clues.
ronnie, trh's agreat clue minver just gave you
Hetty, your French needs polishing!
Not at all.
French for "finished" is shorter!
Look it up, jilli, via the Latin--means limited or finished
"finis" is th modernised adjective
I do not even know any French at all so French clues go right over my head!Any foreign language clues go over my head. I need to learn a new langauge just to play this game; like French, Hebrew Italian, Spanish.
I know the English does, but isn't the French a 5 letter word ending in the snake?
Shall we try fisticuffs, jilli?
or fishticuffs?
Minver, sorry to be a pedant. Sad truth is that English is a compenduium of so many languages
Sooo---I though that the French for the end was just 3 words: like what the fish has--but I don't want ot get into the fisticuffs (which sounds like a babble word if I ever saw one)
toot fini-- french for all done!
Also, illi, even in modern french if the noun id feminibe the adj is spelled as our word. "La fete, c'est fi****"
tout fini! :O
not toot!
oui--la fin de siecle
French for "end " is indeed la fi*.
je suis fini avec ce sujet!
thanks for the FI & FO clues
Yeah, I know it is.I do not think that's a sad truth. I think that is good! I believe that it is interesting to learn where words derived from. I love all langauges!
oui, miranda!
well stated, jilli! :)
But you are female, jilli, hence you are fi****avec ce sujet
jill" vous etez
lol, hetty!
whoops--what Hetty said
I give the last word to libarebel. FINI!
whatever! LOL
had it :)
I just know the basics of Spanish. I envy people who are multilingual. If sure wish that I was multilingual!
Now I'm diving into finding words for a bit -- 15 of them...
oh, finito? that's not french...
oh, the puzzle... :)
I still say pinato is a male pinata.
Jillibus, let me know if you need help! I wil not ignore you tonight! I would love to return the favor to you!
all pinatas should be male-- whack!
kidding...
LOL libarebel!I agree! I sure could 've used one today
lol, min!
is the apron the only pi8/60?
ty, min -- bbl
the hms pi****** one?
I'm at a friend's house so I need to go be sociable. I'll keep popping in & out to give clues if anybody needs.

pi 8/60 is what you call dresses little girls may wear.

Ronnielee, in 6/18 is in plus the name of a desert.

yw, lib
Ti 7/36 is ti plus double consonant plus hockey stick plus superlaitve ending, Ronnielee.
I played in the bathtub the other night - I got sooo many words for some reason!
How can you play in the bathtub Krista! How relaxing!
ti7/3-- an indulger in alcoholic beverages...
Do you play on a laptop, or just print the grid out, mirandapan?
7/36
on a laptop, Krista--wireless--I wonder what I ever did w/out it
It was funny (in a way), Min...the paper print-out slipped from the top of the faucet where i had it propped up, fell into the stream of (very) hot water, which made the water spray onto my legs. I could just hear myself explaining how I got burns on my legs from Babble!!..
no6/18?
no + museum inlondon
actually museum in london is ta 4/4
That would be great to have, Miranda.
no 6/18 rhymes with ro 6/18 if you have it libarebel.

nope- i don;t know what happened to the crew.
I know what you mean Cat9x!I finished at 11:45 this morning.I have never finished that early. Usually the flip comes too soon, now it cannot come fast enough!

Is it that same dessert as before? That might make my babbling easier....
three letter dessert, i like pecan myself
In6/18 is in to an angry reply may be a re**** Temple.
yes
Guess it is a different one since the previous dessert doesn't work.
or in + civil infraction...
2 -- both tr's I haven't TRied yet lol
Ti 6/24 rhymes with the rubber top of a baby bottle.
Ah, had that dessert also...thanks.
i like sweet potato or pumkin
What about chocolate cream or banana cream?
the baby bottle part is also in here.
ti 7/36 rhymes with the ti6/24 word that I just clued
is it pumpkin? or punkin?
and the Ti8 signigies moi
*looks around nervously* is nut here?
Pumpkin
no - she went to sleep
oh dear, start again - ti7 signifies moi
I'm down to 6 left. I know i must be missing some obvious ones but I really want fireworks. I'll ask for clues one at a time and try to find the others in the meantime tr 6/21 please
ok i am confused...is the three letter dessert part of a word?
tr 6/21 refers to a group of three KMS.

banana cream, mmmmm - banana-y!

Shutter, try a different t4
minver! where aaare you???? Anyone!!! My last miserable little word is the first tr4/4, between the unkosher and the chemical compound
the in isn't really about a dessert....the dessert in question there actually has an e at the end of it, the to 4 is a legal term
is there more than pne desert word? by the way, I cant rememebvr is the thing you eat spelled dessert or desert?
I'm getting ready for the inevitable fish

by the way...someone on the list pointed out there is a firefox extension that lets you open likety's list (or any onther page) on a sidebar--so you can have the list and babble open on the same screen!
good night everyone. The fireworks seem to have stopped for the moment, so if the cars don't come by with the booming stereo systems I might get to sleep. I am enjoying this litle sojourn in the big city except for that
firefox lets you open in tabs, I LOVE it!

If you go to lickety's page, look on the right side for angelsong's babble resource link. On that page, click on the site index drop down and choose the redesign, then scroll down for the all in one sidebar extension. It is great!
that was my last one, good night all!
Nite KMS
I saw that, bookwyrm, last night but couldn't find it on angel's site. Anyone know how? What I do is open lickety on another task and shrink it sideways. Then I toggle back and forth using Alt+Tab, moving the list around so as not to obscure waht I wan to see. Now I just read that someone prints out the grid and that should help a lot. I've also printed out the A2Z lists for 4-letter (5 pages) and 5-letter (13 pages) words. And of course, I love the clues in the chatterbox -- they're half the fun. I'm only a beginner and once I've learned more of the weird words I might be able to dump some of the lists, but not now!!! I need all the help I can get.
yankess home run
jillibus, I don't know how people do it without the lists. Much more brains, and time, than I have, I guess.
Hooooray for the yanks!

Bambam got the other.
the fr 5/16: the first is "not the back"
