im too slow for this.
eh, it gets easier scv. i've only got 24 - think i spent too much time looking for an icon
scv - this is not a speed race, you have all day, 24 hours, don't fret about it
yes, but the quicker its done the sooner i can relax and chat and riff
huzzah re 8/45
haha i was gonna say.. at 34 im sure ive been spending more time skipping tracks to find something i want to listen to than i have on the grid
st 7/28
reptar!
renitis is in the grid
wyrd - that's a great name for a dragon!
beware - reptar, the ferocious!
isn't that tommy pickles' dragon's name?
i should hope so :)
it sure is.
helen, ive had to watch too many kiddy cartoons in my life im afraid
lol - so it IS a dragon's name - LOL! (& who is tommy pickles?)
from rugrats
he's cute, too
reptar is the best

patty?
oh thats been said too
nerd?
was there a clue for the fo 8 or 9?
well, here gores; i live in a cleveland suburb. today, MLK Bld, formerly known as Liberty Blvd was closed to auto traffic. It goes through Rockefeller Park, and has beautiful cultural gardens. It's Cleveland's grandest public space...
my real name is the same as angelicas barbie
it sure isn't pattie - it starts with the same three letters as our pirate-lover's name - when i first started i had to get used to the idea that people weren't talking to me when they were talking to her -LOL leslie - sorry melon
Anyway, I rode my 6-speed "Huffy & Puffy" to the event, kept going clear to Lake Erie, then along the lake toward downtown. All in all, I put in about 20 miles, which is a lots for me.
haha, wyrd
i thought it would kill me to think of it, but it just came to me.
wow - 20 miles
debb, there wasn't really a clue for the fo8 & 9 but even I found them!
wtg, melon - great accomplishment
wow - that is alot - that's like from my house to downtown & back!!!! far!
hmmm --- i can't :-( - back to hunting
Biggest challenge - returning home. I live near Shaker Heights - and - well, it;'s uphill to the Heights. I took it slow 7 came home with only a slightly sore knee, a chafed bum, and a bit of pride.
melon - do you have a massage scheduled for tomorrow?
30 minutes over and 72 left for tomorrow -- good night all
good night nan

good nite nan
good night, cybernan
you didn't notice my hello but maybe you'll see the goodbye
thanks. i took up cycling after over 20 years of not. my dad bikes & i started riding with him after my mom died to share in something he enjoys. this week, i'm buyin a better bike, since i ride daily now. basically, if it's < 5 mi., i don't get in my car anymore.
massage? good idea. actually, except for the sore bum, nothing much hurts. i have osteoarthritis & fibro, & actually feel better since i started up with this. it's the only aerobic exercise i get that both spares my joints & doesn't bore me to tears.
that's great melon!
isn't the biking hard on your knees?
what an accomplishment melon!
thanks, again. like i say, better to burn carbohydrates than hydrocarbons.
got ap8/60
tx, deb.
i used to have osteoarth- do you ever do any pool stuff
nice word chj - tx!
yes, i do. i do "Ai Chi" water exercises and water jogging - also Nautils (on dry land!) I belong to the Peter bLewis Aquatic Fitness Ctr @ Menorah Park. It's a gorgeous facility & so friendly.
i've never heard of ai chi - like tai chi, i'm guessing but in water? cool!!
hk, how does one "used to" have OA? I thought it is forever.
no way honey - you pay to get rid of it!!
yep, like Tai Chi, very relaxing, but also works your balance & range of motion.
thx chj
where do i sign up?
$29,000 titanium hip, lined with the same stuff you find on the space shuttle - that of course, does not include the $25,000 hospital bill, or the $14,000 surgeons fee
wow hk is a bionic woman
it is - & i don't use the word lightly - amazing!
oh. you're bionic. i still have all my original creaky parts. my rheumy restores old cars as a hobby; i joked to him that he does the same thing in his practice - help rusty old things run better! :)
good lord helen, makes me hurt just thinking of it
overnight stay - surgery at 11am - out by 5pm next day - could have been out earlier, but of course ill for anesthesia
i remember when Suzanne Farrel of NYC Ballet had a THR - she went on to dance again for awhile.
no, no, no wyrd - totally worth it - i shouldn't have waited as long as i did! that's what i tell everyone now - get it done! quality of life is way more important
hell's bells - I CAN WALK NOW!!!
well im glad it gave you improvement helen, always wondered how that works
mine is mostly spinal - the cervical stenosis is a worry.
and dance too!

i wasn't going far enough.
52 left here...
nrkii, yes, 60
yes it is nrkii
wow, for the life of me I can't see how to do that unless the word is something like apernlgz
right idea, wrong high point...
23 left and off to bed
go down first and then up and to the left and right, nrkii
nrkii, three parts: am imitator; an impersonal pronoun; and a what **
ok, i thought it was an easy one when everyone was getting it! not true. :)
if someone would clue the in 7/28 i could go to bed with all my vowels done :)
ah finally, thanks
how many words are in this grid?
in + scooby snack
aggg, that was an easy word, I just did the points horribly!
thanks roc! bedtime for me. good night folks
thanks all for the many clues
I did math to be 60 points divided by 5 = 16 LOL too tired
enigma, 175
thank you, nrkii
do some people see the game layout differently? i've been wondering why some people cant see the tiles or word count and such
that 7/28 can start with a different vowel, too
scv, if you're a pro user you can see the tiles
the tiles and word count will disappear for you after two weeks scv...
i see them?
AHH, thank you.
scooby snack?
Something you might give a child who has been good, Jilli.
thank you Sue
You're welcome
chj, still here?

nite all I'm done
gee, mymuse -- guess nobody saw you finished and now you're gone! Sorry! Belated YAY!!!
Good morning all!!
good morning, flask!
How do you do that with your icons?
Believe me......its pure luck rather than judgement!!!
did you just find a changing one somewhere?
I just googled dragon icons....and then clicked on the first site in the list.....and it was there......try it....you'll see!
Wow! that's quite a site! Wish I'd found it before - maybe I'll change - there's quite a selection!
Glad you like it....thats how I get all my icons...just google whatever the subject word with icons!
must try that - but not, I think, for the next theme which I kinda don't like!
what is it?
Princess Bride
am not entirely sure what that means.....dunno what to look for, with one???
'Barbie' springs to mind here....lolol
It was a movie I didn't see or care to, as I recall
I did google Image it and sure enough, there were Barbies and babies and stuff
it had andre the giant (a wrestler), tracy ullman, and carie elwes in it
Well I know nothing about it.....so I shall have to investigate....
I've never seen it either. Spangle will stay tomorrow as well.
not my bag
is it a Horror movie or what?
no, it's a comedy
I think andre the giant came from Montreal and died a couple of years ago - or maybe I'm thinking of someone else
It depends on your definition of horror!
Hi Haz.....how is life on the Emerald Isle???
Hi Haz
Good morning Flask - we're looking more emerald thanks to some heavy rain last week. This week looks to have more sunshine in store for us.
if i am not mistaken, the princess bride was directed and/or made by mel brooks
"My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Now you must die."
That's the only quote I know from the movie. ^^;
Hi enigma (belatedly) and Jencatd
It still doesn't make me want to see it!
Hiya. ^^
Mmmmm........think you're right Haz! Maybe my friendly dragon will get a two day airing!!
Same here
Love that movie! Isn't it "prepare to die"?
Icon changed - I chose today's icon theme (is anyone surprised...)
hey, jill
hey all
Princess Bride's about a fairy tale. Prince Princess, true love, etc.
thanks for the info Enig......and good morning to you
Nice dragon, Matty!
Broll, it may be. I haven't seen it in a while. ^^;
and to you too Jen!
the movie was okay
And Tracy Ullmann wasn't in it.
yeah, she was...she was the wife to the guy in the straw hut who had a big nose
Tracy was in Men in Tights, wasn't she? :D
Well, I'm glad someone is familiar with it -- but today is Dragon Day
Morning Matty and Broll
No, that was Carol Kane (?)
huh?
hello Broll -- I see again we are all part of the former Empire...
Morning. Been here since the flip. 2 words to go that are driving me nuts.
rents
my bad
Oh my, broll - only 2 to go? I have 91 to go - such a slowpoke
nm, enigma
Enig, you mean the wife of Miracle Max, who made up the pill/potion to revive the hero?
yeah...that lady
Yeah, that was Carol Kane.
a clue please for ae6??
I just can't see it!!
Like bubbles in water.
Oh God!!!!
Oh God!!!!
What a Numpty I am.....!!
Thanks broll!
yw
Morning How's the grid today?
Morning Fi!
Hi matty
found em! bye all.
Found a naughty woooorrrrdddd...(I'm so juvenile)
congrats, Broll!
Congrats broll!!!
Greetings, FMitch
Evening jilli, enjoying the grid?
Well, I'm no speed demon like some around here but it seems reasonable so far. I'm just over half way and it's bedtime!
I'm more the slow and steady myself, found 88 but that is probably going to be it as lots of work to do today
Good morning - just back from leaving daugher no 2 to work.
Good morning Haz, good to see you.
I wasn't expecting to see you, FMitch - I know Monday is usually a busy day for you.
No client visit today for a change (woohoo) but still lots to do
My most important duty of the day is to buy a new dog lead. Clever husband (who lectures me about leaving things behind) has left her lead at his sister's house and I can't be bothered driving for an hour to get it back!
Oh no walkies for Spangle until then!!
Exactly - I couldn't put up with the imploring looks, so a quick visit to a pet store will do the trick.
Ah those eyes, they get you every time!
What's even worse is if she comes and lays her head in your lap and then looks imploringly. Or puts her paw on your leg.
morning all
Good morning oggy.
I can imagine Haz Morning oggy
morning everyone
hi ruthy
Good morning ruthy.
hello oggy, ruthy -- i have 104 now so am off to beddy-byes.
Good might jillibus. You can sleep the sleep of the more than half-way through.
;-D
stuck on pe5/6 the first ones
pe5 and which number, oggy?
pe5/12/pe6/21
pe5/12 - add creative drawing
or there is a pe5/12 that is a guys name
pe6/21 - first four letters an anagram of the staring nobleman, then reverse the opposite of yes.
I hadn't spotted the man's name, thanks FMitch.
pe6/21 - Someone who stroke or caress gently thank cats and dogs etc
got the mans name, got the pe6 thanks haz its the pe5 before it i need now
pe5/12 - male organ?
well I hadn't got that one!
got that is the one after that one i need
pe5/12 - put a vowel on the end of the mixed up staring nobleman
I've run out of options, stll have lots of p's to find
thanks haz got it now.
A mixed up staring nobleman sounds as though he's in need of the men in white coats to come and take him away!
44 left
You're well ahead of me, oggy!
and me too
HAve you got the ap8/60 Haz, there was a great clue for it earlier if you need it.
I haven't got it yet - I'll have a go and scroll back if necessary.
Hello All, just hopping on to see if any of the SA kids are around and wanted to see how their first day with a new teacher was.
Hi Miss ABS, haven't seen any of the youngesters at all today.
An appetiser - very nice. The grid also has en6/18. Fine dining today.
Ah, well they may have more homework than I gave them. They started with a new teacher today.
Anyway, sorry for popping in and out so quickly. I've got to get ready for a concert this evening. Good luck on the grid all and will see you tomorrow.
Have a good time at the concert, Miss ABS.
and there is a sherry to Find too Haz
We'll be falling over at this rate!
hic!
I'll be back later, but I just wanted to see what my icon looked like!
It looks fierce!
Mmm, not sure
Once you click on your profile, it comes to life. It's maybe not very eye-catching because the icon size is so small now.
Good morning all. Oh dear, woke up this morning thinking of words. Does this mean I'm truly hooked?
That makes 2 of us Frances, morning!
Yes, France, it does. Welcome to the world of the babble addict.
re7 the last one, clue please/thanks
Had you been trying to convince yourself that it was just an innocent game?
oggy - the only re7/32 I have is to do something over again, but you probably have that.
sorry oggy you are way ahead of me
there's also re 7 -- to regret doing something
Hello Everyone! is this one safe?
Yes Haz. So easy to get sucked in but oh so enjoyable!
thanks anyway both.
Hello mrpresident!
Haz, that also extends to anre8/45 Hey MrP¬
Morning mrp
morning!! :D
Say it again, FMitch! Thanks for the re8.
30 left bbl to finish off, bye for now.
Bye oggy! mrpresident, did your children go back to school today?
or as someone put it earlier re8/60, re8/60 re8/60
Haz - back to school??
Miss ABS was talking about her school-kids from last year going back to school with a new teacher. I thought it was the start of a new term or something.
I don't know how South Australia operates their schools... in NSW, we have our end of year in December
No wonder you were confused with my question! Anyway, how are you and all the family?
we started term 3, 4 weeks ago! I am well thank you! Maddison is sick AGAIN!! So she is home from school AGAIN!! and I am being the good house nurse ....
How are you??
I'm well thanks. I remember when my girls were young how they always seemed to come down with things once school went back. All those germs getting together!
All those germigals!! the boys don't get sick cause they don't touch those germ girls!!
Is it a cold that Maddison has or something worse?
my son came home from school saying he wasn't friends with a little girl he always ate lunch with... I found out that this little girl sent a 'love letter' to one of my son's mates... he said " there is no way I want one of those!!" so she is dropped!
Maddison is always getting sinus or throat or ear infections... she is a head cold child!!
That's not nice for you and even less nice for her. Hopefully she will grow out of it. Or maybe you should buy shares in kleenex.
I have waited 6 days this time round before going to the antibiotics... I am trying to build up her resistance! Kleenex is my bestest friend!
One memorable Christmas I developed a dreadful sinusitus, but stubbornly refused to go to the doctor until my husband threatened to cancel Christmas! Even with strong antibiotics it was a week before my sense of smell returned. It was horrible - eating was just a chore.
Wow! Rain - it is hosing it down - first time for weeks!
Oh Haz! Maddison knows exactly what you are feeling!! **she is saying Hello!** and she also says "OMG! a whole week!??!"
Hello Maddison! I was actually quite scared as someone told me that if you lose your sense of smell for a week then it might be gone for good. Thankfully it came back, but an odourless world wasn't pleasant.
Oh, who told you that!!? Is that for real??
I think it was probably an exaggeration on someone's part. It is possible to completely lose one's sense of smell but a week is obviously not accurate.
The synapsis must disconnect after a while, if you ain't using it... you don't need it! The brain shrinks in the olfactory area and no more smell, but not in one week surely!
I never knew what the process was but I agree, a week sounds too short a time.
anyhow! she is sleeping and not eating and drinking alot of water... the paracetamol is keeping temp at bay and the icypoles are working a treat !! :D
Well, it sounds like you're a good nurse! I hope you feel better soon, Maddison.
*thanks Haz!*
is the census thats being done australia wide does any one know ?
yes it is Rlee
And now, I must take a break from babbling. I've reached the point where I will see no more without 'someone's' assistance! I'll be back later to finish off. Good to talk to you, mrp and maddison!
i did not get a census form and the web site is being most unhelpful
**bye Haz!**
Bye Haz, I'm back seating for a while too
Bye all - FMItch don't work too hard!
bye haz thats me finished
now I'm down to one work--the same re 7 the Oggy was looking for before. Any clues? I have the re7 to say again and the re 7 to regret
All that rain and already the ground is dry
re 7 creeping or crawling
thats me finished bye everyone
ty Hannah--now I'm done too!
wtg kateq
Good morning all. I'm just here to get the grid. BBL.
good morning everybody, morning jacula
A belated good morning jean!
good morning haz:)
hello everyone :)
Hey Everyone! How is everyone
morning peeps :)
morning karys:)
It was quiet, now everybody's coming out to play.
morning marso and aleksia im fine here thanx getting ready to celebrate my daughters 18th tommorow
Happy Birthday for jeans daughter tomorrow !!
Are you having a 'bit of a do'?
we had a family meal on saturday night just gone which was good, just a quiet time tommorow cutting the cake etc and then out on the town with her friends on the following saturday night
thank you karys i will tell her
That sounds as though everyone will have a chance to celebrate in the way they prefer. I hope she has a lovely day tomorrow.
had a 'bit of a do' on Saturday night for my birthday !!
18 again Karys?
happy birthday karys hope you had a good time
Thats more or less what my daughter did too jean....seems to suit everyone that way
thank you haz im sure she will
your right karys caters for all ages then
no Haz.....I stayed at 27 ....still there 33 years later !!! thnks you jean :)
im reversing my age this year im going to be 35 lol
i have been 22 for about 15 years lol
The funny thing is that even when you get older, you don't really feel grown up. My mother used to look in the mirror and wonder who the elderly person was staring back at her - she didn't feel that way inside.
that sounds like a good idea jean !
thats the best way to be haz i forget that im supposed to be grown up now rofl
thats true Haz....I still dont feel quite 'grown up'. My aunt said that if I had gone this long without growing up why bother now !!
good point karys lol
So I shouldn't worry about not feeling properly grown up at 48?
right am away got to get the decorations organised for tommorow but needed my babble fix have a good day everybody:)
You too, jean.
oh no Haz.....be like me and just don't bother !!...no one seems to notice
have fun Jean :)
see you soon jean...have a good day tomorrow
thanx everybody will have to find a slot tommorow for my babble fix lol
can any1 tell this dumbass how to play?
First of all, you might like to look at Help, just straight above the chat log. You'll also find lots of information in Angelsongs Babble page, under Friends of Babble at the bottom of the page. Basically you have to find four letter words or more with the letters in the grid.
is there anybody out there.....hmmmm
oooooooooops thanks haz
You're welcome - hope you enjoy the game. Be aware that lots of the words are unusual so don't beat yourself up too much if you don't find them all straightaway.
are cute animal shots the theme for today?
Dragons, I understand.
I'm just too lazy to change mine!
thank you... is this log time of the chat based on uk time?...cos its 9:20 here in aus
hi everybody!
pm
It's based on US time, central time zone, I think.
Hello FranMag! Nice to see you.
hi franmag
hi haz! hi makattak!
hi Fran :)
just dropped in to say hello, my eyelids are so heavy and words are not jumping out at me!
hi karys!
hi fran :)
Not the right conditions for babbling then, FranMag.
hi marso
dragons? shoot. I'll go looking. :-)
Hi all! Have had bad-electronics-karma the past couple of days - did I miss anything?
hi amanda!
Hello amandacath! You missed a wonderful grid yesterday. It was full of babblets.
hi Amana :)
i learned a lot of new words yesterday that's for sure!
sorry lost the 'd'...amanda :)
I have two 8s-- fo and ap... anyone know how the other one starts?
Grace...its an re8/45
There's an re8/45
Had to hit the 'phone for a couple of hours. Back now and as the weather is at best horrible, I think I'll stay and babble until I have to go to the post this afternoon. How is everyone? I see we are all worried (or not) about our age. I feel the same inside as I did at eighteen the only problem is, I feel the outside is more pantomime dame these days!!!
Hi all, may I have clues for the 9 and the 8's please
got it...thx!
hi peri!
The re8/45 is one who says the same thing over again, over again.
ap8---after dinner cordial
well, i'm off to bed. good night all!
ap8 - drink taken before eating as an appetiser.
Grace, I know what an after dinner cordial is, is it an alternative spelling

FMitch, you wouldn't have a clue to share on that 9, would you?

Hi, Matty
Hi matty

at5/10 fragrant essential oils or perfume, think roses.
Are you finished, FMitch?
Thx Mitch! I knew that was a word, was just spelling it wrong!
No, only got to 102 words and that will be it for today
is it a toughie today?
I don't think it is as hard as a couple of the recent ones Charm
oh, that's good! =8-)

nice dragon matty
Hi folks. I'm back with 20 to hunt down. Congrats, Grace!
hey jac
hello all how many today please?
175 words, sandr
175 words
clues before I go?
ohh 70 to go then - sigh
nisi
ohh opps sorry
needed that one. lol
yesterday morning when i came one there was an awful troll on here
what a mouth
Oh my, yes. You do have to wonder - surely they have better things to do - what's the attraction.
never could figure that out myself
Glad to see today's log has been peaceful
sheryl -- did this troll have a name starting with "S" ?
they must not have any control in their real life or something
He's probably at summer school, having flunked English.
I missed that whole bit yesterday - glad I did
No evan it wasnt a troll we have had before
no a D or a W but definately not a S
went on and on till Dr. God kicked him out
A D, I think.
morning all
Dwaine or summut like that.
ahhh....cause that one starting with "S" has a tendency to drive me right outta here... i think fmitch knows which one im talking about...hehe
lol matty his spelling was awful
Are you talking about a twilight lupine, Evan?
LOL evan, not seen that for a while :)
do they not get banned so that they can't come back on?
Really, the best treatment of trolls is to ignore them. Not give them fuel. It's not always easy to sit on your hands though, I know.
it's hard not to respond sometimes but yes ignoring them is always best
We should have a Troll icon theme, sometime. LOVE all the dragons on here!
i agree jac -- thats why i usually just go away until the log is quieter... responding to them just fuels them, but im not always good at ignoring, so i just go away for a while. ;)
Sheryl - the username can be kicked off but, unless the isp is also banned they can just come in under another name. Even if the isp is banned, they can use another computer at another location.
hard to believe someone needs to be trollish that much, jacula - I know they do, but it still stuns me.
makes sense and people like that are probably used to being tossed from sites and setting up new ones,
it's sad really
But...don't people have better things to do? I don't get it, I really don't.
Sorry to interupt but what did they do?
guess they don't matty, but it is sad that they are so unhappy that they spew like that
lots of swearing and name calling and general abuse to everyone that was on yesterday
Matty thanks for the dragon complement. I was away preparing a mango and you know how messy they are to prepare but so so delicious.
I guess they have no control over some part of their lives, as someone said earlier. Maybe being remote (on a keyboard) makes them feel they have some kind of 'power'? In a way they do; after all, we're discussing them here now!
true.;-)
I don't really know any of you people, but you are such a congenial group it's almost shocking when a "troll" horns in
Bye the way matty, yours is a pretty fine dragon too.
although the really funny thing was was this troll kept calling us a bunch of 40 yrs old bleeping bleeps
I guess, Jac. Where did you get your dragon, Frances?
Oh, weird..
matty google images
Thanks, Frances!
they are precisely the reason i had asked DrGod for an "ignore" button... why should i have to run away from the chatlog entirely just because they are causing a fuss? we should have the option of enjoying the log, just without them...
jean, not everyone thinks we are nice
Me too. Here's to Google (raises glass)
love your dragon too matty,
really, sherylr -- he should have known many of us are really in our 50's :D
lol or older
I think an ignore button would be a fine idea (though I'd panic that everyone was ignoring me).
but 40 something hey thats prime
LOL Sherylr I smiled at the being 40 bit too - I wish!!
Speak for yourself ch1212! LOL.
aw, gee, I missed the troll yesterday. What a shame!
matty cheers (raising dripping mango)
Sheryl I find that hard to believe, I've never seen a harsh word among you regulars
I've one more year of not being in my 40s...there'd BETTER be a party next May. (LOL Frances)
not the regulars the troll don't like us regulars
(Next sound we hear will be Frances running away pursued by wasps, if she's dripping mango all over the place!)
lol
when i turned 40 i went on a holiday to Dominican Rep. with a bunch of friends and 40 was a tropical breeze
Matty - I need one of those parties next April.:-(
ive got a few years til i get to 40...
best way to handle the big 4 0
heck, ive got a few years til i get to 30! ;)
I sent my husband up in a hot air balloon for his 40th (12 years ago) - he came back down though. Hey Jac, we should have a joint party!
When I turned 40 I went on a daytrip to Iceland. (The country not the frozen food store.)
for the bigger 5 0 I have the same idea, somewhere tropical and a bunch of friends
when I turned 50 this past year I went to Italy! Trip of a lifetime :)
Jacula Sorry to disappoint but no wasps around today thankfully
LOL Jacula!
lol ch
mprning, babblers
morning angel
back again...hello to those I've missed...can't stay to chat tho now, got to go for the list and get finished, 50 to go before the dentist !!!
Jac -how weird - that's exactly what I did when I turned 30
Good morning Angelsong!
go kary
i've got 4 words in the last 1/2 hour
perf
When I turned 30 three years after hubby turned 40, he said to me "I was going to have a party, but you haven't got enough friends". :(
Frances - glad to hear it. I'm still finding flying ants in the house. Not sure where they're getting in but the poison I've sprayed around outside seems to be working.
Morining Angel.
ah matty
matty - you're kidding, right?
Molly - That is a concidence! I enjoyed my trip but would like to go back some time to see a little more. Very expensive there though, isn't it?
Nope - I'm not kidding. Still married, though.
Jacula We've got the non flying variety - pain in the backside
{{{ matty }}} you let us know -- we'll throw you a Babble party!
Mind you, if he says the same on my 40th, it'll be a different story ;)
matty - you forgive better than I would. :-)
very expensive - but worth it - especially the swim in the thermal pools - quite other worldly!
now you sound like me. ;-0
Oh, he's still reminded of it. Often and regularly. He's on probation. He has 9 months to plan the party ;)
Molly - Ah, the Blue Lagoon. Yes, it's quite surreal.
If I'm over the pond at the time, let me know -
Hiya Angelsong, btw.
Will do...
might have to break down and get the list
can't seem to find any words at all
I've come to a screaming halt at 70 words. I have the nine - can anyone help with 2 of the eights?
i have to ignore the log for a bit if i'm to find anymore words! ;-)
don't have either of those myself
re8/45 - one who keeps saying the same thing over and over again.
That's one of 'em, Jac - thanks!
fo8/60 - front section.
ty jac
That's one of 'em, Jac - thanks...(now I'm one of them)
ap8/60 - 'drinkies' taken before dinner.
ap8/60 - pre prandial libation
(Or rather 'drink'.)
you know, I typed in some clues and they didn't show up - odd
FMitch - LOL. You sound like a music hall presenter.:-)
Do you remember Leonard Sachs in 'The Good Old Days?'
ty jac
I'm going to dive back into the grid for a while before lunch. Got 101 things to do.
That's it - thanks (though I had to look up the spelling)
need 95 more wanna clue me
He used to introduce magicians as 'masters of presitdigitation.
I do Haz. He was so over the top
Haz - Yes. That's who I was thinking of.
I know sheryl ive only found 2 words inthe last hour
lol me to matty knew the word but not how to spell it
LOL Jacs, and afraid to say yes I do Haz
prestidigitation, I should have spelt.
lol haz
Someone clued the ap8 like that this morning and it stuck in my mind
That'd be a good Babble score, Haz!
What the heck does it mean?
this is odd -- I always thought the ap word was spelled with only one 'i' but the grid won't take it. So I looked it up in the dictionary and it shows several translations using only one 'i'. I figured it out finally, but still ...
Wouldn't it just? - I presume it means sleight of hand
Jacs - Performance of or skill in performing magic or conjuring tricks with the hands; sleight of hand. or A show of skill or deceitful cleverness
brb
thats it gotta get the list driving me nuts looking and not seeing a thing
Ah! I'll remember that, I'm sure. *grins*
Hi Everyone
Okay, need to disappear for a while now.
have fun jac
hey tiny
Hello Tiny and bye Jacula.
See ya Jac. Hi Tiny.
how is the puzzle
I've got the 8s and the 9 - but not a single 7...
was swimming along then hit the wall
anybody have the re7/32 between being sorry and re-recording?
no 7 yet at all amanda
Not yet, amanda.
kinda hard tiny
you mean the plural of the sorry, amanda?
amanda re7/32 Creeping or crawling
you mean the plural of the sorry, amanda?
at least in my opion
nope, Wolvie, there's one after that
*opinion
ahh - only have 2 of the 7's so far in re
frances - does it have to do with slimy creatures?
re7/32 - first three letters of the saying over again word, finish with french aunt minus the last vowel
I don't know the French for Aunt...I now have two sevens - the two that were clued below.
ah, finally! had tried several endings for that, just not the right one
matty - change the vowels in the Lone Ranger's friend for a, then drop the last vowel.
was wondering, does anyone put up all the words they have solved on a particular day, so novices like me know wat they left out?
battygal - you have to wait until the next day, then looks up archives, click on one of the players who has got all the words and the word list should appear.
not sure if there is a list anywhere after the gird is fininshed, i just forget the old one and move on to the new
At least that's the way it used to work, it may have changed.
grt, ty haz
It still works that way Haz batty - archives are just above the chat log
i got only 75 words today
yesterday was 44, so i hope i move up, somewhere down the line !!!!!!!!
not bad at all for a newbie
Tose are good numbers batty, the grids haven't been that easy the last couple of days
batty - that's pretty good! Lots of us also use on-line resources. You'll find details of them in Angelsong's resource page, at the bottom under Friends of Babble.
check out angelsongs list under angelsongs babble page it always helps
Oooh - that's the word I already had. Sigh.
grt.......ty guys..........now to figure out wat to check on angelsongs
:))
hello again everyone.
Hello Charm, how are you doing?
Hello Charm, how are you doing?
hey charm
Had real trouble with the t's but fireworka at last - 175 words and 2186 pts today
Didn't mean to be a re8/45.
congrats on the fireworks spellit
I'm doing well, thanks, Haz. and you?
Hi, Sheryl
I'm fine, thanks. 9 to go, then housework is calling.
oh, I have a LOT more than that. Then the housework and laundry. sigh
i should be doing housework myself, a new tenant moves into our basement apartment and i have to give it a good scrub before he moves in this weekend
thank goodness the old tenant was good and left it fairly clean
'Housework is something you do that nobody notices until you don't do it.'
you got that right haz
oh, well done, Haz!
same with laundry
te7/28, anyone? I (and my monkeys) are being lazy today
I'm a cricket scorer and when people ask me what I do in the winter I say housework (tongue in cheek)
Charm - I can't claim the credit - it's a motto on a fridge magnet that I have!
sry don't have it yet
te7/28....occurring every other day
With the same ending as the little green men from another planet
ah, got it. ty
Yay - one to go, and I have to go back and count. I evidently checked something off that I don't have...
hate when that happens amanda
and thanks chiley and haz
You're welcome amanda.
Ah, found it. Finished, but only 'cause I went almost immediately to the list. No patience today
Congratulations!
congrats

happy babbling all
Bye Sheryl.
**~~**~~**FIREWORKS**~~**~~** for Amandacath
bye, Sheryl
Thanks all! I'm off as well - have fun all!
And the dirt in my house better watch out. I'm coming to get you..... Bye all, have a good time with the grid.
bye, Haz. make those dust bunnies quiver....
can anyone explain to me why in the tile stats at the bottom, there are , for example, three e's two r's etc???
because there are three e's, two r's etc in the grid
if I'm understanding your question right, Deeha, it means there are 3 words starting with e, two starting with r, etc.
They mirror the grid above and show you where the words come from. Bye Haz, think I missed you going
OH I see what you mean FMitch, I have been doing this all this time without realiseing that might help me!! Doing it the hard way....!!
Deeha for example s 0/21 means there are 21 words starting with s. Every time you get a word this figure changes until s21/21 shows nthat you have all the words starting with that tile. Does that make sense?
Yes thans Frances but I wondered why there were more than one of some of the letters but FMitch has explained it nicely for me
Deeha We nearly have your beautiful flowers in the grid today
why is the grid soooo slow?
maybe it hasn't had its caffeine yet, either.
good morning, here for a while, how is everyone?
ap8 please?
Hi, Anniebrook. well. how are you?

LOL
One assumes a writing implement was involved?
monring....jacula am i too late for a cappucino?
oh my.

nice, nut. sounds like a place that really respects your humanity. my workplace is pretty mellow, and i could have said i was taking a few minutes out, but didn't want to push it.

my workplaces marks every hour and minds every minute.
TY
Can anyone help me with teh re7/32?
which one matty?
nut don't you work for DOD? can't expect much else. they can probably laser-track you from space.
Never mind - got that one - (missing plural) - I've others though...watch this space...
ooooh, never thought of that fiz...hope they weren't tracking me in the potty earlier,...that could get embarassing...specially if they have a lazer sniffer.
Fiz, I had that book, too! You could tell they were awfully pleased with themselves for making it up!
I have one that is sorry, one that says over, and one that is creepy/crawly
re7 is holiday re.+ cross letter + picnic insect.
I can't find the creepy crawly one.....
lol nut! vi - so glad! remember the peach pit and the picture o fthe grandma?
Yup, and the strange creatures at the party!
katusha, think snake, re**(stop there) then add picnic pest
And look what that book's done for me: I'm a stay-at-home mother, and even when I worked I was "only" a teacher - typical women's work!
RE5/16 and its possibly associated 6/27?
and to think vi, you could have been a dragon-helping lady doctor!
Also the re6/18?
I just signed back on to do some of those matty - hopefully someone will clue us. :-)
I meant ra6/18
one more hint.....?????????? Plsssssssssss
Hi all, how's the grid today? Not sure I have much time this evening, so wondering if I should start. Yesterday's was a bugger.
ra6/18 dried grape, or what my mom called my sister's umbillical cord when she was born...
katusha re7/32 salesman+sunworship+t
re**ile, leaving off the ile, replace ile with picnic pest.
though I had finished the re's , then another popped up: any help for the re 7/32 beween regretting and rerecording?
fiz - ewwwwwwwwww
ef4/7 anyone....?
hi krista! seems to be going ok today for me - wasn't around yesterday though...

matty, love those california ra****s - if you remember those commercials.
You picked a good day to skip, Fiz.
ra6/18 is ra+ti4/4
Nope - got that one - I need the one before the ra4/4 - rodent pest.
i didn't *skip* - i was camping, and am not (yet) enough of a freak to try to hook up solar panels to my laptop or anything.
my m.i.l. would crow...oooooh but it's such a beautiful part of life, funny, i don't remember van gough painting any of those scenes.
Thanks oggy!
matty thats the one i just clued
Wolvie, I dont get that snake clue for re 7/32. Any more help?
**yet** being the operative word, right? :) I didn't play when I went to the beach last month, but ended up playing Boggle every day. Just made me miss Babble.
I am so glad someone else didn't get it right away,.... it took me forever!
I'm a terrible clue-r. sorry.
**yet** definitely being the operative word - i have to say i thought about it....
the first 4 letters of the snake family+the picnic insect
no, I missed it this morning too!
I'll try it again: re**ile.leave off the ile , substitute picnic pest
thanks katusha - I knew it had to be easier.;-)
re**ile being somewhat like an amphibian but drier....
Got it, thanks
of course I sitll have 80 words to go, so who am I to talk!

My dad would like that one, jillibus. He collects "no smoking" signs. (Mostly in different languages.)
hey babble-onians..what have i misssed?
Between the dried fruit and the Doctor Who villain.
maty - ra5/10 is a homophone of the ra4/4 after the fruit. double vowel at the end.
chj - you missed the million-dollar giveway for all babblers who were on at that moment - sorry.
Thanks Fiz!
yw matty
chj - your icon made me chuckle. Forgot The Captain had a real name.
who needs a million when i have the companionship of all of you
I can't imagine why anyone with Dragon as their real name would take a dumb stage name instead!
awwwwww, thanks chj.
Ok, entered 8 words and have to go already! Yes, Vicuna, how much more Rock Star can you get than Daryl Dragon? Wasn't hokey enough,I guess.;) Catch you later.
cant imagine why anyone would wear that stupid sailors hat and call themselves the captain
That's heartwarming, chj, but if there were a spare mil sitting around, I'd take it ..
money only leads to misery
can't imagine a spare mil torg could beat me to
i think i'd be ok learning that myself, chj...
Lack of it certainly leads to misery, too, though. And if you've got to be miserable, why not be miserably rich?
All the girlies say I'm pretty spry for a fat guy ..
look at all this fun were havin for only $14.95

Lovely pic Oggy!
Hi stid and all - went away for a mo and lots arrived! Saw the chat about funds, and as they say, "Happiness can't buy money"
thanks flask
fo 8 sounds like 4part and plural
(what is the anniversary?)
flask - fo8 is like your front limbs - fo4/4 +pa4/5, and plural
Maybe I don't need a million, but if I didn't have to worry about my future and my kids' future, I'd have a lot less misery ..
Flies when you're having fun Babbler - or so they say!
all babblers will have everything amnesty so long as they send me one incredible chocolate dessert per year.
hi JILL!!!
OK, I don't get it. how can there be any st words after the last st7/20 I have - there aren't enough letters after t in the alphabet, surely? I have an st5/10, 6/18 and 7/28 after what should be last...
stid - Babble was mentioned in the UK for the first time in a Sunday paper. It was a year ago today. : )
does everyone know that I wrote a teeny chapter last night and posted it directly at BabAnon? the grid was too tough and the chat too busy to need another distraction.
OH! then fireworks for BABBLE!!!! :-)

re7 first four letters of re***** (a lizard) + another short insect
reptan
thank, nan!

=o
add a cross cyber
oops! - thanks chj
I don't know, Babbler, sometimes I know that the kids are just spoiled (have a met a few); other times, I know that there are some highly sensitive individuals out there with many gifts...
TheFiz, it's a bit of a spiritual thing. A psychic back in the 60s or 70s noticed the colour of people's energy fields was changing and she noticed a new colour appearing - indigo. Before then it was exceptionally rare. The theory is Indigo children/people represent an evolutionary shift.
hmmmm. positive or negative shift, babs?
OK, I'm getting tired. TA6/21?
TheFiz - a bit of both. I read a book on it last year.
cam anyone help with some of the a words?

Babbler can you remember what section of the paper it was in??
yes, Stid - I've met children who are utter brats, and I've met kids who are like little grown-ups, who seem to know how you're feeling. Flask, sorry I answered but I didn't make it clear it was for you - it was The Mail On Sunday. : )
Flask- lol! it was in the magazine supplement that goes with that sunday paper.
the last re6/21 and the following re7/32 after the "does again" have me baffled - any help?

The only code we are speaking is that referring to the words in a kind of shorthand. fi4/7 is a word with four letters which yields seven points. We give clues to help when people get stuck. But, as I said before, concentrate on the grid first and don't worry about the chat log.
Air Jordan - the 'code' is explained in the Help section, above.
ra6 is ra+ti4/4

ooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh its a trademark name
na 6?
depends on the word, jaime, but if the word ends with a in the singular, you generally add an e to make it plural (antenna/antennae)

hello! clue please for the last st4/4?
Morphy...the pe is the first two letters of the word..the 5 is the number of letters in the word ...and the 12 is the point value determined by adding the point values of all the tiles in the word multiplied by 2 for a five letter word, 3 for a six letter word etc.

I need the re 7 after the re 8

me too abe...I just started!
we can do it kristinc!
The twins came through the back door as everyone sat down to cold meat and hot soup with fresh bannock for dipping.
here here abe!
"Peter says they'll be here after the cows are brought in," said the elder. "But Helena looked suspicious, she knows we usually wait until John is going home before having a big dinner."
go abe go! go kristin go!
whispers, what is bannock?
it's like a bisquit Ping
oh, thanks lb!
Gilly stood up and started filling a pot with water. "Well, that's okay. We don't want to completely overwhelm them." She put the pot on the stove and stuck her hand in the oven to check the heat. "Your Aunt Helena is a smart woman. She'll get Peter and the kids prepared for some sort of news."
*I put a bannock recipe in BabAnon a while back*
thanks, stid, i'll look that up
Nan and Andy put their dishes next to the sink and excused themselves, taking Olivia along to the front room.
The cat wandered through and sniffed its empty bowl. Ignored, it slipped through between the door and the frame, and disappeared outside.
Evening all. :)
hi there, words
Anna stood up with the baby and went to put it down for a nap, leaving Gilly with her three eldest sons.
hi words!
hola words!
is it story time? :)
hi words
Boy baby or girl baby?
A rumble and the sound of a harness being undone brought the boys through the back door hastily, leaving Gilly alone with her thoughts for a moment. She set a plate and bowl out for Paul and started washing up.
which would you like, smithchick?
haven't named it yet... :-)
A girl please:)
sign
Otto and Owain came in, carrying a large trunk between them, followed by John with another case.
Okay smithchick. Do you have a name in mind?
smaller?????
you want to know the baby's sing, words?
sing = sign
Exactly.
renny, you have superpowers, don't you?!!
Oh, you're much better with names than me, stid... Surprise me...This is the first time I've been here for story time!
Gilly directed them to the back bedroom, where "extra" things always ended up, and the children could sleep in the winter when it was too cold to sleep upstairs.
i got your e-mail !
oooo hey smithchick!
long lush!!!!!
Okay, will get there in a moment, smithchick.
Smaller! It's been a bajillion years!
ohhhhh!! i was starting to think it's 1984
Paul came in with his arms full of bags and boxes tied with string.
hi smaller.
longhair lushes are potent
we're gonna party like it's 1984!
Works for me... I graduated that year.
hey stid!! is it story time!! i've heard people compliment them
Gilly took the ones off the top and set them on the table. "Go wash up and I will get your soup ready."
hi smaller and smithchick!
hi smaller!
hey kristin!!!!! how's the little sprout?
The z is completely worthless tonight.
hey lbdawger!!!!!!!!
kristin! How are ya? What's the word on the little one?
Paul set the rest on the floor near the pantry door and walked out to wash up.
Anna walked in, sans baby and took over the washrag from Gilly. "Sarah didn't want to go down this afternoon. I think she is starting to really notice when she is in a strange place."
hey smaller - do you have im on that computer?
I love that name, stid!
:-)
Gilly smiled, "She'll be teething soon -- and sitting up!" The woman looked at each other happily as Paul came in.
smaller and smith (and no worries b/c you didn't know)...we lost our baby about 3 weeks ago. Something happened to him in the womb and he passed away. Beautiful boy though...Dylan Knox. He was 6 lbs 2 oz and looked exactly like my husband...it's been a rough couple weeks. Just started back to babble late last week.
ren, nope, thanks for the heads up
*oooh drool baby...more sleepless nights!*
(((hugs))) Kristin
oh kristin
John sat down next to his father as he ate, and shared a bit of news about what was happening in his town. Paul finished quickly and sat back.
I'm so sorry kristin. It's awful to lose a baby at any time, but especially so far along. I feel for you. I've been through something similar. All my love and support go out to you.
yes like lbdawger said. big HUGE hugs.

"Gilly, I bought a razor in town... do you remember where the basin is?"
ren, oh but the resemblence is accurate
thanks guys...keep up w/ your story! and lol about the pirate thing (my space needle toes like the pirate ren)
Gilly pointed at a cupboard under the stairs, "Right where it belongs, Paul." She smiled, "Not THAT much has changed!"
*oh boy Paul's gonna shave!*
pffffftttttt smaller - this raspberry's for you!
*wonder what he looks like under that scruf? will he scare the children?*
Paul grimaced and pulled the basin out. John stood up and followed him to the back yard.
ew ren, icky when that kind of raspberry has chunks
Gilly winked at Anna, who popped into the front room and returned with Otto, Owain, Andy, Nan and Olivia trailing behind.
oh sorry smaller...i coughed and was eating a gob stopper
Owain? is that pronounced like Owen?
*great, just what Paul needs and audience! lol*
Quietly, the children tiptoed down the steps to the back yard, standing well back from the stable door where Paul and John were setting up to shave.
*yes, smaller*
See Sarah needed to be a girl. Nan and Olivia were outnumbered.
ren, what's nut up to?
i dunno? about 5'3"???
Gilly and Anna returned to the kitchen. There were pies and breads and a roast to get into the oven, and a stuffing and parsnips to cook as well.
i buzzed her
Soon, Cathy came through the front door with Gray, and joined them in the kitchen.
snicker
pftthhhhbbbbtttt!!!
Gray joined the others, who were slowly moving closer to the stable as they watched.
snickers...where. I want one!
ok i'll be back later, going out for some montana fun of getting junk food while steer wrestling. not

I was snickering at ren. I wish I had a snickers. and that I could eat one. Sigh... Bye, smaller!
don't start any fires smaller!
The dog soon joined them, sitting on his haunches, his mouth hanging open in big grin.
lb - those are sooooo good!
I just paid a lot of money to have lap band surgery, so I must avoid the snickers. Much to my dismay.
is it a rock and roll band?
This is about the most exciting prelude to a shave I've ever witnessed!
smithchick, i'll eat them for you. you stay skinny.
Soon, the smell of pies and roast and bread began to drift through the yard.
drool
I need one last word, the 1st si 5 pls
I've got to get that way first. 18 1/2 lbs down so far (in four weeks)!!
Stidmama isn't helping!
lb, certainly your icon isn't an rous?
John looked around and noticed the children. "Father, you have quite an audience today," he chortled.
i haven't eaten since 6 am.......drool

(*sends ren all sorts of nutritious and bad for her food...your pick*)
Yes, my rib is a little sore, but other than that everything is good.
Paul winked at him and turned, brandishing the straight razor in his hand, "Okay, who's first?" And chased the laughing, screaming younger children through the yard while Otto and Owain protectively put their hands up across their minimal mustaches.
Leslie, yes it is a rous, ready for tomorrow's theme
I hate missing the obvious ones! Thanx, now I am done.
bad of course!...oh then food....thanks kris!
The three women paused briefly to step out on the stoop and watch the merriment.
yeah Phan!
YAY phandmd!

yes! that is great. i bet hurshy came up with that one
did they give you good drugs smithchic?
lol shorty!!!!
I had five pregnancies and gained about ten pounds with each. They weren't fabulous drugs, shorty. Dolor and Keflex. I got it done in Monterrey, Mexico because it was half the price.
smithchick -- hope you will continue to heal and do well. I know that it means a lot of changes, but you will feel so much better.
I could use a good drug today! LOL
i think i just need my mouth wired shut to lose weight. that or a divorce! lol
(*sends chocolate "drugs" to shorty*)
Keflex is an antibiotic, smithchick, don't know the other one.
shorty, go for chocolate.
i love andre the giant...obey giant!!!
Thanks, stid...I already do feel much better. I think what I really need is to have a lobotomy to get rid of the part of my brain that wants to eat. I still crave things all the time!
The other one is a mild painkiller.
lbdawger Im with you I think the divorce sounds good
Gilly called out, "Looks like you've forgotten how to use that thing, shall I come and help?" Cathy and Anna hugged each other, laughing.
The near-divorce is what caused me to pack on 50 lbs. in three years. I'm decided to go for door #3
ne or ni 7?

Cathy hustled the children out of the room and John and Anna followed. The front door closed, and the house was silent except for the muffled murmurs of the two happy people.

Gilly looked up at Paul, putting her hands on both sides of his face. Carefully, she turned him this way and that, running her fingertips along the scar she remembered from his adventure with the stone bridge as a child.
Scars are sexy...
She kissed his dimpled cheeks, and smoothed the wrinkles on his forehead.
oh, gotta go everyone
good night!
night, nrkii!
Especially lap band scars:)...Bye nrkii!!
gnight nrkii
goodnight nrkii!
night, nrkii!
Paul held her tight, smiling down at her, enjoying the smell of her hair, and the way the light made her eyes twinkle.
good night nrkii!
sweet zzzzzz's narkii
yes smith, the scar sexifies him
The cat scratched at the back door, and meowed loudly. Paul and Gilly pulled apart reluctantly.
(scar like a pirate, perhaps...)

Gilly sent Paul to find the children and help get the big table set up in the front room.
yo ho yo ho...!

Anna came back in, but Gilly shooed her out to go get changed for dinner. "It's all ready now, dear, we just need to wait for Peter and his family to arrive"

Gilly set the kettle on the stovetop, and put a cover on the roast, before retiring to her room to change.

Cathy returned with her parents soon and sat on the front porch, sipping tea with her nieces and nephews, holding Sarah on her lap. Grammy played with Olivia and chatted with Anna while Grampy taught Gray and Andy a new game with string.

*it
you can do it kristin!
Paul and John, Owain and Otto walked around the yard and outbuildings, discussing things that needed doing. Gilly finished her toilette and began setting the table with her best linens and goblets.
still missing way to many to beg for clues...I'm now tackling the in's.
Eww...Hope she washed her hands!
Soon, the three girls returned from school, breathless from running and were sent upstairs to change as well.

Nevermind...Duh...pass the fish.
Anna and Cathy joined Gilly inside and began putting the food on platters and in bowls for serving.
I know, stid. I just couldn't pass it up.

An air of expectation surrounded the house and spilled into the street as Peter's large wagon pulled up in front.
***you need to wait for Peter's reaction until tomorrow folks, my fingers are typed out!***
TY, Jen... I set it aside for later. Is it fresh? That's one of the few things I'm supposed to eat!
i need the last one, in 7?

my husband's niece's toes are a third of the length of her foot! i swear it's true...okay, it just looks like it.

kristinc - hubbynuts toes don't touch the floor, ever, he went to the hospital for a sprained ankle and they thought he broke his toes.
im baaaaaack and ready for clueing
Hubby's are bony, white and hairy with long toes. Not an attractive sight. I've given him a complex and now he avoids sandals.

bums? as in derrieres?
in fron chj...balances
i like my honky tonk badonk a donk
ping are you commenting on the size of someone's......
st 7's both begin with the same three letters as the 5/12 before them, then add double letter and a vowel (change the last vowel for the other 7)
what about the last set of pa6/22...I have one (hononym of woman's name)
Well, I'm off to read a book...Night all!
pa6 change the last vowel to a consonant
kristin, last pa6/21 rhymes with what is the ma****
kristin, rhymes with ta6/18,
nut - if you have no feet then your bum becomes your feet
I didn't have that word, but I immediately knew it must be here from Ping's comment.
night smithchick!
kristinc, pa + double cons. + double vowel, then change the last letter for the other one
what are you reading smithchick?
another silly one...fish over here please!
tr 6/21 anyone?
well then, when i cut my feet off, sir mix a lot is gonna love my feet.
I'm not sure. I just finished an Erica Spindler book. Killer Takes All.

yipes - pass a fish!
hey kristinc - how ya doing?
maybe a better def. would be an insignificant person
not the little person the baseball palyer!!!!
hi hk
thank you jen
chj, the little worker bee
yw, deb :)
oh, are we using "little person" as a euphemism for the naughty word?
a worker bee is a drone
pe4/5, if you're not a bigwig, you're a pe4/5
lol - no chj - it's only 4 letters
LOL chj!
lol, chj!!!!
okay, I am off for the evening. see you tomorrow!
cant't find the last re7/32 got to do again & to feel remorse, what am I missing?
i have no idea what you guys are talking about
you mean pe + not off? thats a slave worker not a little person
nitey nie stid
since when is pe5 a 'naughty' word.
like a chicken?
((((stid)))) from your little angle....
good nite stid :)
i don't think any guy would like that eupemism
what about the pe 6/21 after the pe that was just clued?
goodnight stid!
lshult, use the same three beg. letters and then add the picnic pest
night stid
im trying to be serious..please tell me which pe people are referring to when they say they have the little person..im perplexed
debb, same first 3 letters + a long long time
deb, use the same four beg. letters, and then add the opposite of off
the one that is pe + opp of off
the (perhaps, miniature) intercourser tool
thanks fran - the last 8 always baffle me
chj, it's the pe4/5 that means slave worker, it was probably clued as an insignificant little person
unit, tis a unit
ERON
i think that's an inaccurate definition
i'm not typing in that word!
member, perhaps?
OOPS!!
maybe so chj, but it obviously worked as a clue for somebody.
chj, yes, I believe they are referring to pe5
i would never associate that with a little person..an underling..a worker...
ae 6/18?
can someone help with the en 6/21 ? (i only have 5 left so i won't pester for long)
helen, add air as in an aquarium
helen, what you would do to a lawn, perhaps

ping, re7/32 is "plural" of the re6/21, re**** for your sins
he did so much for them..one of my favorite mets of all time

yes, it is a komodo dragon chj.
question...do the final st 6 an7 relate to the st5 before...if so, how do they and if not, clue please? :)
kristin, they do, st6/18 is the latin plural
st7/28 is the act of making the st6/18, ends like consumed
thanks!
yw kristin!
hmmm, i needs those too fran - clue for the st 5 perhaps?
i needs a lot apparently...
st5 is a thin groove
st5 has two vowels in a row ping...def. fran gave is right on
st + small river in spanish
or st + an opera solo without the first vowel
thanks, fran, kristin, and byz!
that works too byz!
yw ping!
just missing the 3rd re7/32?
yep...others had better clue for sure though!
lshult, same first 3 letters + canvas dwelling but change the vowel
it means crawling or slithering.

i think the ap 8 is french
just checking to see the reaction to this icon for tomorrow...
kristin, an after-dinner drink is called a digestif, apply that to the before dinner
hmm...then my spanish won't help me :)
ap5 is more likely to
Hello everyone - Just here on my lunch break and will need help with my last 4.

TA 6/18 : what you get if you lie out in the sun + ending for a person who likes to wear no clothes...
ta6/18 = na 6/18 changing first letter

we use 'at last' at lot for weddings chj.
YAY Ping!
love her version of "At Last"
pyros for ping and fran!!!
TE 7/28 is latin for "third area?" ends like the perm*** era in geology.
oggy, you have to clear your browser cache probably.
yay ping!!!!!
it might change after the flip.
fran, are you a musician too?
no worries, oggy -- it'll change at the flip and that's soon enough.
no ping, my husband is a wedding dj.
are you a wedding planner fran?
fone
do you watch bridezilla fran?
no ren, just the previews are painful to watch!
Hi everyone... has anyone figured out the first ta6/18? Have been fiddling forever on that one, to no avail..
paltinum weddings?

cant wait
kris...i've been working since 5 am...i've decided i'm a littled to zoned...
sorry -- I clued that one a little bit ago as what you get if you sunbathe + the last three letters of a person who thinks clothes are unnecessary
not as good as the original!...i do have hair envy!
elsa was married to charles laughton
the PE 5 you want is PE + "pirate sound" letter +last three letters of the fancy lights in Las Vegas
Oops... that is the 6 clue, lynxxx.
hooray for pirate sounds! :)
the 5 has the first four letters the same but ends in a vowel
oh, wow... thanks, stid... I discounted that one because I didn't start from the bottom T... (-: got it now, so thanks again!
yw Aloyisius
stid, nice icon by the way! now that i know what it really is.
yes..i love charles laughton's acting!

fran, the other day you had a bright red coke icon and it was so easy to *find* - that inspired me to choose this one
AOL Explorer is tabbed also, i think it has a lot of the same features as ie
yes, it's quite graphic ping and very noticeable!
unfortunately i am not as helpful with clues as you are and therefore not as find-worthy - but maybe i will improve?

Clothes. Clothes everywhere. I have a small room. And we bought me a new dresser. We had such a hard time getting it up the stairs, but before that we had to move the old one out, and take all my clothes out, but my mother told me to put all my clothes in my room for the time being, just anywhere....and she's my mom so I can't argue with her....so now it's almost one and I worked twelve hours today and spent almost two more getting this dresser in here and everything, and I really don't want to put all my clothes away right now but I can't get to my bed if I don't.
sleep on top of your clothes
Not very comfortable. =)
whoops... small pie? I think that must be the other one I'm missing!
oh leigh, that is irritating! just pile it in the dresser for now and then tomorrow reorganize a drawer at a time.
