A clue: I have printed out the ENABLE word lists and put them in a binder with tabs...it's faster and easier to look up words in the binder than to keep opening the dictionary....that helps me get done- also, we had dictionary races in 5th grade....our teacher was a Sadist, but now I kiss his feet! have hit a brick wall now though
That was the first one I found Douglas
Im sure you two will come through with flying colores
I'm brand new to this...what is "the list"?
That naughty fellow who kept making trouble for Xena...

one must have a broad base of knowledge to keep up with douglas' clues, from kenny rogers to philosophy to star trek.
I'm over a third of the way...I will leave the rest for my children...bye all
night douglas!
my base is obviously not wide enough... although able to discern Trek and Philosophy, I still haven't attained the words clued

Hey Sherb

'night Fran
Haz1558 are you local to Ballymena ?
Yes - I've lived here for 24 years so an still considered a newcomer! I'm originally from Carrickfergus.
My grandfather was born in Clogh and my great granny lived in Ballymena for all of her 106 years.
Goodness - she had a good long life! Have you ever been across to the ancestral home?
106 yrs. how wonderful!!!!
good grief 106 thats amazing
I would love to come but unfortunately I've never made it. I would like one day to visit. You know it is really amazing that she lived such a long life. She died the year before I was born . She died in 1948.
That makes it even more amazing, as people didn't live so long in those days. I hope you do get the chance to visit, although the town has changed greatly even from the time that I have been here.
Do you happen to know where she is buried?
I've got maps and pictures of the area and it seems to be very beautiful.
Bye everyone - 50 left to find tomorrow. Spangles - and another co-incidence - Haz's beautiful dog's name is Spangle!
bye lynxxx sleep well:)
bye lynxxx
Bye lynxxx - you're right, it is a coincidence!
Bye lyn
nite lyn :)
It is lovely, spangles - we tend to take our scenery too much for granted and it is only when visitors come that we see it through fresh eyes.
I think she was buried either at Cushendun or Cushendall I will have to look it up.
nitelyn
They are both seaside villages, not that far from each other.
I am researching my family tree and the Irish records are proving to be very difficult. I do know that she lived at 25 William street where she had a boarding house.
William Street is still there, although some of the houses were knocked down to make way for a shopping centre. It is currently the street with the highest number of pubs in the town! I'll see whether 25 William Street is still standing. Irish records are difficult because of the Custom House fire in the 1920's when lots of records were destroyed.
off to work now so see you all later

Good morning hydra.
good morning hydra:)
hi hydra
Got the first 73 without help but I shall soon have to revert to the list.
good morning to the onrs I missed
hi hodag
Hi hodag
I've never seen so many v's. Makes me realise how sadly lacking my vocabulary is.
e's & r's are to close
This is a very knife-happy grid - ca5/18, se5/16, sl5/12 and the variations.
too many E's, full stop...
and a loving ca8...
Hadn't noticed that, haz. Now you've set me off looking for them.
On that thought Haz, why can't I have ca6/30y?
I know! They're very popular over here with farmers who like to load their plates!
or a ca7 word ending in y? I'm disgusted that it isn#t allowed. I went to one in a hotel just last week!
That was the one I meant hydra
Sorry!
Oh well, no use complaining, enable is deaf to criticism.
No probs
Time to go back to bed still a few hours before daylight. Good night or morning.
Sleep well hodag.
Sleep well hodag
bye hodag
bye hodag sleep well:)
nite hodag :)
So often I want to crawl inside my computer and add words to the list's dim brain.
Know the feeling hydra
Morning all Who knew so many words could hide amongst all those e's?
good morning FMitch
Morning FMitch
Good morning Fmitch. Does that mean you've found them all?

hi FMitch

Bye jean
Bye Jean - have a good day.
bye jean :)
bye jean
bye jean, and if yer still around bye hodag
Hi and Bye jean, Hi Frances and metal Haz - no I haven't finished halted at 136
Hi sherb too
The mind boggles as to how many re's are going to be here today.
I'm a bit startled to find the dream (re6/33) spelt not as in the dictionary.
Maybe dream isn't the best definition - kind of pleasant mind wandering.
it must be a UK/US thing... the spelling diff. that is
what Proust did...
For pages and pages and pages.....
amazing the effect a madeleine can have...
So is that the normal US spelling, metal?
Usually has ie on the end?
hmmm not seeing that one
re + exceedingly
re plus a word meaning greatly/a lot. And yes, we normally spell it with an ie on the end.
Ah got it
it seems "normal" to me, but maybe it's like the pronunciation of caribbean.... one way stresses the rib and one the be
but either is acceptable
perhaps it's the same with the re spellings
Haz your icon clue from yesterday is here again
I know - quantities of them!
No woman is safe with them around.
Oh come on - if PeterS came up to you would you swoon into his arms? eeeww
Yo've found me out. I've always had a secret passion for him.
NO!!!!
Stringfellow is not so much a ro4, more a ruin....
Maybe I could be the one to change him - he just needs looking after. And a hair cut.
LOL sherb
LOL sherb
who?
<----- lost
Google images for Peter Stringfellow. He is a night club owner (the night club is imaginatively named Stringfellows) and he is a bit of a cad.
......and I hope he's got rid of the thong by now Haz.
A bit of a cad! I am getting worried about you Haz :)
am googling now, but google is dragging it's feet
I used him yesterday as my icon to illustrate ro4/5. He could also have been a 'rake'.
I'm feeling generous, FMitch.
he must be a "silver-tongued devil" and a charmer... his looks wouldn't get him far
Oh look, that god of love is here again. How appropriate.
metal - the whole country is at a loss to understand Peter Stringfellow and the women who throw themselves at him.
it must be his charm... or his money... cos it's certainly not his looks...
I guess money speaks volumes Haz
maybe he has ummmmm "talents" or "skills" we won't mention in public
Maybe he is a good ca8/45
and tons of money is usually pheromone laden, isn't it?
It's not even as though he has 'power' like John Prescott.
Don't go there Haz!!!!
I couldn't resist.
*smacks monkey for misspelling
You cheeky chapess
We'll have no cruelty to animals here ML
ok, no smacking, but they're banana deprived 'til they shape up
OK
did anyone get my clue at 4.10?
yes FMitch, thanks :)
Yes thanks FMitch had that one
Yes, I already had it, but what an awful thought....
Oh good :) Hi Biltong
Morning, FMItch
All these e's are making me pout (mo4/6 and mo5/14).
:)
well thats a new word for me.
Store it in the brain cells - it's bound to keep turning up.
Like that god of love - can't stay away.
bye, see you later!
and the dolphin, and the volcano and the hawaiian goose
lots of French words in the grid today... must be all the E's and S's...
Bye Biltong - have a good day.
bye Biltong
and the dolphin, and the volcano and the hawaiian goose
LOL, how did that happen?
Bye Biltong
There's another babblet er5/10 - I've never bothered to learn what it means, it just looks like poetry gone minimalistic.
bye Bil :)
but why won't it accept er4/4?
I have no idea.
I have tried the e4 word so many times this morning
It is to do with the original Irish I think Haz
Well, you've got me there since I speak hardly a word!
oh well, time I was doing other things... later all :)
'bye sherb
Bye sherb - have a good day!
Bye sherb
If you click on the ? it will direct you to Irish Gaelic.
Bye sherb
The singular form (not accepted by enable) seems to mean a series of celtic languages, but I can't find a meaning for the plural form er5/10. I'll still have to think of it as poetry gone wrong.
Bit of a puzzler Haz
Yes - maybe Peter Stringfellow would know.
LOL
Keep trying seance - time for me to go. So much to do today. Back later to finish. Bye.
canary
bugger..sorry
Got that one rolin
bye Frances
that was my partners fault!!!....i was just gonna say good morning and he saw the word...

You're welcome - lag not a problem here.
still working on lots of the re's there are so many
i"m mired in them also
I've sunk without trace in the re's!!!
This does not bode well for ExWren, who, as we all know, hates re words!
ok so its not just me then
want to swap any?

Morning - what's the grid like?
pretty good matty!
hi matty
not too bad matty, I did most of it without the list, and that's very rare for me
hey metal - do I owe you a congrats?
for?
you said you finished?
oh, sorry... still have 10 to go
i stated unclearly
oh - wtg then! :-)
I should have turned the tv to Univison a long time ago... the music show is helping the lag problem and the brain fry as well
not to mention, the chair dancing is fun
LOL
musical chairs metal?
*girns innocently, or perhaps that's wickedly.....* nope, not the chairs, but the music makes ya dance whether yer sitting or not, and all from the waist down
*grins, not girns
clue for the ca 6/21 before your chose job? I have all the other ca 6's but that - all the ca's but that
*chosen
Add a different consonant to the end. I think it means to have a boozy time.
ca - change the last consonant ... means to bounce off
No - it's to do with vehicles leaning over.
is it the one to go madly down a hillside?
thanks haz - for some reason I didn't think they joined. Le sigh
that's it sunny - thanks
Yes, I was confusing it with carousing!
to tip or veer from vertical
Afternoon all...........
hi caitlyn
that's the one sunny, the mad motion
metal said a word
hi caitlyn
Hello caitlyn.
dang it, did it again sorry
dang it, did it again
hi cait
hi caitlyn
I know the icon theme today is for faerie ..any news on her mum?
I haven't heard anything since yesterday - she was deteriorating.
Thanks Haz
oh - I didn't know the theme - brb
I was wondering about faerie's mother... I knew she was sick, but didn't know in what manner
She was saying the other night that it is just a matter of time..poor faerie
She is very elderly and had been suffering from dementia/Alzheimer's. She has been in hospital, in a fair degree of pain, but I'm not sure from what condition. It's heartbreaking for them to have to watch her.
I'm so sorry for faerie - it's sad
as hard as it was to lose Mama so quickly, I"m glad she didn't linger as some do
I don't think I'd have had the strength to do what faerie is doing
I nursed my dad through brain cancer he was so brave and aware of what was happening until the last day,,he was so dignified about it that it helped us get through
my dad was the same cait, when my time comes I want to be as brave as he was
very similar here, cait - although it started as lung cancer for my Dad that spread to his liver and brain
I hope I can have as much dignity and grace as my Dad did as well, andree
Daddy had cancer also, colon cancer, but he died of heart and lung failure before the cancer could advance to any extreme degree
Its so sad that so many of us have been through the same ..thats another bond we all have
true cait. so many, more every day it seems, are diagnosed with cancer... almost everyone I know has either had it or has lost someone to it
my dad started with prostate cancer, more deaths from prostate cancer than breast cancer, yet it is largely ignored
almost no publicity for it, no fund raising, correct?
almost no publicity for it, no fund raising, correct?
I dont think that enough is done to highlite prostate cancer Andree
get all your men to get regular checkups, it only takes a few minutes
I see commercials for men's heath a lot on the tube here, they are talking about prostate cancers and other illnesses. A good thing, I think
a lot of it has to do with men's attitudes about getting tested, almost as if it's not manly to take precautions
such a difference if cancer is detected early, whatever kind
amen to that, andree
my only real fear about death is having one of my children go before I do
Oh Andree I fear the same thing
that would be the worst
not having children, I don't share that fear, but I do fear watching another loved one, especially my dear sweetheart/spousal equivalent/life mate/boyfriend/other suitable euphemism
Okay gang lets cheer up now!!
Good morning everyone. Only have a few minutes before we leave for church this morning (special service in addition the Sunday usual.) Reading the chat the past few minutes ... {{ hugs }} to everyone.
hi ch
morning everyone
Hi ch
Fireworks at last! and with that, I"m stepping afk for a brief bit to feed the starving/begging/pitiful/pesty cat
congrats, metal!!
good morning ch and scatty
I don't even know how to say thank you and let you know just how much each and everyone of you mean to me. Mom is still suffering and still in great pain and yes I'm sure that anyone of you could and would do exactly what I'm doing. You just cry alot. And you pray alot. And you start to learn exactly how many people love and care for about YOU. (((Hugs))) to each and everyone of you. There has been no change.
Congrats metal!!
hi chj, yay metal
brb
whats the grid like today
Good morning. Is everyone having a fine weekend? I've begun the grid. All those "ca" words and only two of four letters. Hmmmm
hi faeriekae
{{{ faeriekae }}}
Congrats METAL!!!!!!
((((((((faerie)))))))))))))) You are in my prayers
good morning merk
hi faerie, we are all thinking of you
hi merc and scatty
What a wonderful welcome {{{{HUGS}}} to EVERYONE
{{{faerie}}} then scoots afk to tend to Rock, the three-legged terror (who lost a leg to cancer earlier this year)
metaleather ... was it a slow grid then today? Congrats
Thank you Andree
Hi Merk
Awwww Metal that is so sady
Hi Merk -- I don't know yet; just arrived a few minutes ago myself.
Hi Merk
(((CH1212))) Goodmorning :)
I have asked babble for a Prostate Cancer icon day, which I believe will be in November. My husband was diagnosed two years ago, thankfully after radiotherapy treatment, he seems to be OK now.
The re words nearlly sent me mad!
is it cancer faerikae
good to hear ExWren
{{{ faeriekae dear }}} prayers continue for you, your mom, and all your family.
good morning faerie
Oh Wren so sorry to hear that you and he had to go through that
(((Wolvie))) Hey Babe
ExWren we were talking about prostate cancer a few minutes ago
Scatty she has a broken back and neck and yes the doctors beleive (not confirmed yet) that Mom has either colon or stomach cancer
oh faerie - so much. {{{hugs}}}
I truly love my Babble friends what would I do with out all of you
Its not fair how some people have to suffer so much
No Caitly it isn't fair - good people should not have to suffer :(
now lets all try to cheer up and enjoy this day that we have been given :)
*wipes eyes - blows nose*
I'll be back later --- leaving for church. {{{ everyone again }}}
my sister had ovarian cancer and my mom linfatic( wrong spelling) cancer, the worst thing is that you just pray that they are comfortable, i just felt so useless when they had bad days
puts on a nice smile
Later Ch

Thanks ((andree))
so sorry to hear that Scatty
ar5/10 please
Okay faerie...Im dressing up as a witch tonight hubby says he wont know the difference!! (((((((scatty)))))))
it puts a great strain on your like , try to be strong, mum used to say that she didn't want me to be sad
latin plural of the 4/4 andree
Andree add a vowel to ar4/4
rolf Caitlyn give him some witchs brew and put a little exlax in it and I'll bet he'll watch that smart mouth of his
hit him with your broomstick cait
LOL
Thanks Scatty I'm doing my best
Well the 'ca' ended up being so easy, all just building on one another. So I must dread the upcoming 're' group?
my sister was told she had cancer when she was trying to have a baby and my mum was told a couple of months before lou died, so we were in a bit of a roller coaster for about four years watching one then the other suffer
Yes Merk
I'm supose to go to a party tonight dressed as Peter Pan not sure I'll be there yet
Oh scatty that is so sad
faeriekae whats the weather like there
Awwwww Scatty that is sooooo Sad you my dear try to be strong
{{{{scatty}}}}
But I'm stuck on the ca ,32
you have good reason for that dread Merk
7,32
45 degrees and raining
cait its been a long time now but i still think about it everyday
I have the ca 7/32 as plural of the ca 6 for job merk
if you go as peter pan won't you get cold, and peter pan isn't exactly scary
Clue for the ca 7,2 plez
Duh! Thanx
merk, I just gave it. :-)
that's right scatty
:-)
brb coffee is ready and so am I
The memories will always be there scatty but if it helps someone else be cancer aware then it is perhaps for a reason
clue for the re 7/40 right after to grab again?
I had my two 6's switched around and it put me on the wrong path.
cait, it didn't help that when my sister died my husband was in the war zone and the RAF wouldn't let him come back as it was my sister and not his family that had died
and before the "honor" ones
merk - I do that a lot
I really feel for you scatty (((hugs)))
thats awful scatty
oh scatty, how awful
Wolvie to put something one side until later
my doc won't let me have a screening because my mum and sister died of two different cancers, they were not related they said so i wasn't allowed to be screened to make sure i was clear
Do you have the normal cervical and breast screening scatty?
caitlyn - thanks - I'll work on that
yes i have had that done but it wasn't breast cancer either of then died from
got it, thanks caitlyn
ar5/12 please
YW
right i am going to attemp to put a dent in this grid i haven't started yet
Andree add a vowel to ar4/4
caitlyn, that gives me the ar 5/10?? I am missing the ar 5/12 myself
isnt that the 5/10 cait
ar + vowel + abbrev for california
ar5/12 ar+vowel +1st 2 letters of a motor??
thanks metal!
I think I tried every c permutation but that one. :-)
.

I got a few re's by utilizing a consonant that appears later in the alphabet
so Charm how does it feel to be lied to LOL
I am shocked. Shocked I say. (Capt. Renault from Casablanca as he pockets his winnings while closing the Cafe for illegal gambling)

I just read your note about doing what we can, Faerie
morning..
Hi Dorens
Hi, dorens
Thats right Pam we can all do it when put in the situation I've come to realize
Hi, Dorens
Or, we do what we can where we can....
my sister frequently marvels at what i do, and i tell her i have no choice, we have to .. (sometimes it is like that)
exactly Pam
I know that I am struggling each day emotionally, and yet I am not doing that badly all things consodered
true, dorens, sometimes it is ike that
that's just how it is, pam--and then some days you'll shock yourself at just how well you are doing. you will have happy days and surprise yourself
Pam emotional struggle is the worst (((hugs))) you are a very strong woman
Thanks, all, for the support
we all get through it, and you know you will too!
Help with the last ce 5 plez
sending -White Light- to Pam
8-)
Merk I would if I could
Groan ... I'm missing a ce 4 and a ce 5.
plural 4/5 before it merk
Frustrating when you know it's right in front of your face.
I had some out of order. Are there odd ce 4?
with one change vowel and plural, sounds like a brand of salt
A salt we would have here though?
I have 3 li's...are there more?
I think it is the third 4,5 I am missing.
ok, getting anxious, see you all later
ignore salt, try changing vowel on other 4/5
take care pam
i am trying, dorens...
morning
NUTTY!!!!!
morning nut
FAERIEEEEE
hi nut
hi, nut, guess I haven't quite left yet...
ha ha...hi pammalarue
is today's theme awareness?
must be, I think I'll go change
it is indeed....skin cancer is the soup of the day
there, I feel better now. My aunt died of melanoma and i am very aware...
i don't even remember where to go to find the theme...
aww sorry to hear that Dorens
sorry aobut that dorens, did you read my bio?
(i put babbler down in "my friends" and you can always check her there, Pam)
sorry to hear that dorens
no, but I will right now
pam, to babblers bio...or it may still be posted in babs anon
hi nut
Hi Cliffopa
heeeeeeeeeey cliffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
thanks!
Hi, cliff
hi faerie
hi everyone
cold and rainy here...lovely morning to stay in bed extra long
Oh, nut I am sorry. That is tough, I know. You have my sympathy and support... (I'm a redhead, and very likely to develop it .. have had lots of little thingies removed over the years, and am always vigilant)
morning everyone :)
good girl dorens, no sympathy necessary
cold, rainy, VERY windy here. good day to snuggle with kitties.
49 left, will finish tomorrow, goodnight and happy babbling, chin up faerei
how's the brady-meister?
Night Andree Sweet Dreams
we're having some MAJOR rain here... definirely a day to stay home and not feel guilty about it. night andrée
brady boo is great! going through a serious teething stage, chewing on everything.
Thanks Andree {{{{XOXO}}}}
when my stnker bug was there, i don't know what he managed to chew on, but he only has half a fang now...he looks like bucky from get fuzzy.
It is raining here in Boston, too, dorens, but not the downpours that are coming...
do you think cats know when they look goofy?
I didn't realize you were in Boston, Pam. Both my sons and sister live in Cambridge, and I go up there once a month
So you know the area well, Dorens! Yep, i am here in Boston...
well, that's good. at least you are in a place where there is lots of stuff happening, places to go, things to do. When you are ready, you have lots of opportunities to distract yourself
LOLOL--the key is when I am ready, i think. Today, my ex is moving out (I am at friends') and I am not really distractable...
Good Evening Everyone
But, i hope to become more engaged...
Hi, Tiny!
hi pam
glad you are at friend's-----------------Hi Tiny
Hi Tiny
hi dorens
Hey faeriekae
Hi, Tiny
Part of me feels badly talking about my situation here, but the support and sharing has really, really helped
cliffee...i don't think the cats have a clue
why should you feel bad pam????
hi Charm and eva
Pam, we need a break from the grid, honestly, and we are all here for each other. that's part of what makes this place so awesome....brain challenge, and frienship all in one!
nut--because this is babble and a babble chat, not cyber dear abby, or cyber therapy...
THANKS, Dorens!
last time checked, good deal of us share our lives and problems in here...it's a good place to do it...and no one judges in here.
sometimes jokes and silliniess (NUT), sometimes baseball play-by-play, sometimes therapy. it's our place to do what we want, and anyone who doesn't like it can ignore it and babble away.
Soo True
true enough....
*pretending i didn't see sillines*
you DON"t see it, you just embody it!!! you are silliness personified.
babblers are the best therapists. very low cost, very supportive.
(i cant here dorens...la la la)
lolol, dorens!!!!!
cliff--so I have discovered....
and of course to trolls too, don't forget the trolls...they're so cute
nut can't see, nut can't hear....
Well maybe you can all give me some advice then
shoot! (and we'll let Pam give the advice)
i'm good at bad advice
I don't know that I am worthy, Dorens...
comoe on now, Pam sure you can do this. But maybe we should here what Tiny needs advice on????
I need help with ne6/18...
My doctor has told me to go away on my own for a few days to have a break from problems at home but my husband says I am not allowed to go by myself if I take someone with me I will not be alone so doesnt that defeat the purpose and how do I handle it
ne/6 18 is more of the ne4/4
tell him you're taking someone with you, get them to pretend to disappear...voila!
Oh dear...please pass the coffee
closer would perhaps be a better description chiley :)
"not allowed?" as in forbidden???
i assume this is concern on his part for your well being...other wise i have a new set of advice
i assume this is concern on his part for your well being...other wise i have a new set of advice
but he knows all my friends can not go with me I feel like I am a Prisoner
Yes Pam
i think Pam is on the right track here. why are you forbidden?
okay...new set of advice, kick him in the nuts and get in the car.
ROFL, nut
i say go anyway and don't tell him where
I am not sure eva but he keeps saying it is not right for me to go by myself
Is he Jealous?
one last question, does he go away by himself?
we all think it is right, your DOCTOR thinks that it is right, where is he getting his rules from?
when i need a break from my hubby, i ask him to go away. i like staying home alone with my menagerie.
Hes got no reason we have been happily married for 27 years
last i checked australia was a free country
no eva but he goes out on his bike anytime he like and I have to stay here
i mean call later to let him know you are okay but get away for the time you need a little alone never hurt anyone
you go away tiny, pay with cash, have a nice break
yes take care of yourself after 27 years he will get over it
you are definitely getting clear unanimous advice here. Tiny.
Without knowing a lot about your specific situation, I would think that perhaps he feels it isn't safe for you to be alone. If your problems are great enough that you need to get away, perhaps he fears what you will do when you're alone
go somewhere where they give massages!
I just feel like taking of but know how he will react when I get home He even went to ask one of our Pastors if he thinks it is right
AND get a manicure
and pedicure
are you safe at home, Tiny?
Go and see the Pastor yourself and find out what he suggests.
And, I like the idea of a day away--tell him you are pampering yourself--hair, nails, the works....
who cares what the pastor thinks is he your doctor usually doctors don't say things like that unless they feel that is what is needed you aren't going to hurt yourself right?
I have a violent son who used to hit me all the time and a daughter who has ADHD and sometimes I get afraid when my son starts to get angry
how old is your son?
Oh, Tiny, i am sorry.... you need a day away... let your husband stay at home...
I have also had a heart attack and my doctor seems to think it is the stress at home
what if you compromise to you and a girlfriend taking an all nighter to a day spa, most of the time will be quiet and alone then anyway
my son is now 22 and has been back home for 5 weeks
I dodn't mean to sound cruel, but if he is that old and violent, do you really need him in your home?
go tiny pamper, take care, be free from stress why does your husband let your son hit you
I have tried all ways to get him to let me go but he says it depends on what the pastor says is right
tiny, the pastor is human, and is hearing his side of the story, and you are a free woman.
you've given 22 years to your son, give yourself a day
and they ran, ran so far away at least for a day or two to keep you sanity
I have tried to give the Pastor my side but he says he has to pray about it
maybe the pastor knows of some religious retreat you could go to. you might not be completely alone - but it might also be a good compromise.
my two cents: he knows the pastor is going to side with him. so if the pastor says not to go, someone else takes the blame for what he wants.
Tiny if you don't take care of yourself, you have nothing to give to those you love
I agree with Charm.
right on, Charm. Tiny tell him you listen to your doctor, it's your health here
tell him you are going to buy a bike maybe he will understand that then do what you want
tiny...you DESERVE a break
tiny, I just got on and decided to read the log and saw your situation...i am sorry about your son, it sounds like he was living elsewhere and now he is home...will he be returning to where he lived or is he home permanently ..then the situation is the same when you return...
tiny... if your husband controls what you do, where you go and don't go, that is a form of spousal abuse.
spot on hurshy
I know but I am stuck in the middle the doctor keeps asking when I am going away
yes, hurshy, spot on
can the doctor talk to your husband, or would you feel violated by that?
Can the doctor speak to your husband?
I believe that medical advice trumps pastoral advice!!
i don't know about you guys, but when i told my hubby i wanted to take a trip alone, he fully endorsed it.
tiny - i have been in the church all my life, so i know, religion is often used as an excuse for inappropriate behavior on the part of a husband, and is often backed up by pastors. this is not right.
Where would you go? Let your pastor know your destination,...
can the doctor speak with the pastor? and impress on him how important the rest is?
the doctor says she is going to speak to him
Tiny - what's stopping you going away? ...how will your husband react when you get back?
i say go and ask forgiveness later he isn't going to leave after 27 years after something that small maybe he needs to talk to your doctor instead of the pastor
forgiveness for what? Tiny isn't contemplating breaking one of thecommandments, is she?
it sounds to me like your health is serious enough you could say a day away or six feet under what is your choice because mine is not to be killed by stress
tiny, do you feel you deserve a break?
Tiny, the doctor trumps the pastor...have the doctor speak to your husband...what I dont understand is how going away (and I think you need the break) is going to solve the situation
be very angry and probably yell and scream a bit I am praying he will have to go to the doctors so she can tell him she has requested it
hi, everyone, i have been reading the log
and, tiny - if your husband is treating you this badly, it is not good for HIM any more than it is for you. i believe that in cases of abuse, separation is usually necessary. have you considered that?
I just feel I need some time out of it all to get some new perspective
tiny, it sounds like your pastor hs a way lot of conrol over your family!
awaits emusings imput
no i meant better to go if the husband is upset ask for forgiveness then not that i think she needs to be forgiven but sometimes husbands can make life he??
nut, i have no magic response, except that some pastors overstep (in my opinonO their boundaries and enter way too much in family functioning
I know what you are saying hurshy and that is what the doctor said but I takemy wedding vows as sacred and she said it says in the good times and the bad not the bad and the bad
Tiny, you are not chattel...if you need a break, you need a break, anger and screaming is not an option on his part, have the doctor make it very clear you must get away
Tiny - you need to get away... you may have been married for 27 years, but this doesn't sound like a happy situation anymore... your husband should care about your health enough to see that you need a break...
your husband doesn't know how much better it will be if you get a break take one and try to relax a new perspective is always good when trying to solve problems
she's right tiny...but that honor and obey part ought to fly right out the window in my opion. honor, yes...obey HELL no
yes she told me when he goes to see her she will set him straight
tiny, is there a women's shelter/center that you can go to get information/advice?
I dont really think I want to go to a womans shelter
not to stay but to get information
tiny - here is my perspective, as a Christian. you vowed to love your husband through good times and bad. what does that mean exactly? well, to love someone means to do what is in their best interests. it is NOT in his best interests to be allowed to be arrogant, controlling, and verbally abusive. this is sinful and hurting his relationship with God - and nothing is more important than that. so, if you continue to live with him, you might actually be facilitating that. i think that your vows are sacred, and that the way to honor them, in abuse cases, is separation (not divorce).
In my religion the health of the mother is uppermost....you dont need permission from the pastor to get away for a few days...again, have the doctor speak to your husband and have her stress that you need SUPPORT..
Tiny, do you really think God wants you to be afraid of your husband or wants him to yell and tirade at you.
amen hurshy
as for the pastor he is really nice and he does know what I have been going through but I think he might say yes to go but not on my own
well said hurshy
do you have a cell phone no one is alone if they have a cell phone
one more thing on the not alone thing, sometimes having a girlfriend there to talk to is worth a million bucks
Tiny - God does take care of us we just have to listen to his voice and you need to get away. go to someone you love a family member a fellow church member...a friend but please for your own health and well being you need to get out
I agree but all my friends are tied up with family and work themselves
perfect tiny, then you'll be ALONE during the day
I dont understand, what does the pastor have to do with your going away....
i'm sure someone will be willing to help you! i would be!
yeah nutty! especially if they know when to be quiet I think the spa thing sounds great some pampering some peace a new woman will return
Tiny - what is the main thing stopping you going away?
with great hair and nails
I know but you are over there and I am over here it is a long way apart but I thank you all for listening sometimes I feel so alone
exactly Nutty
bbl.....
okay tiny, are you near any other aussie babblers?
I just went and had my nails done a couple days ago and it made me feel better :)
Later Pam
what i'm saying, though, tiny, is that if we would be willing to help, probably people near you would too. i think almost anyone would be willing to help someone in your situation. if i had a friend in your situation i would take them into my home in a heartbeat.
It sounds great and I just dont want to go against his wishes but feel I need this
I dont know any of the aussie babblers
he's human tiny, his wishes are incorrect
you have to take care of yourself no one will take care of you but you i learned that in therapy
A spa sounds wonderful...you can be alone in a calming place...and you can call your husband and he can call you...and get a manicure and pedicure and marvelous massages and if I were you I would go...what is he going to do, divorce you because you needed a break...dont think so! If I were there I would go with you
sudoku, you had a good therapist!
have you actually asked any of your friends if they would be willing to help you, tiny? or are you just assuming they are too busy? i bet if you ask you will be pleasantly surprised.
also you can't take care of others if you don't take care of yourself
Thats exactly correct Sudakuaddict
if he really cared for you and had you health and best interests at heart, he will let you take a break. this kind of control is not love or caring by any stretch. and I would say contravenes your vows.
You know if my friends ring up he keeps on at me all the time to get off the phone but whenhis friends ring I am not allowed to say a word
been there Tiny
okay tiny, i'm becoming more and more convinced that he is just controlling and abusive,...sorry for saying that
No Shorty you ARE there
It is just so hard sometimes
i think he is afraid you won't come back when you find out how nice it is to not be controlled maybe he needs to talk to the pastor about control issues or does your pastor do counseling like that
tiny, it sounds like you don't need just a brief respite, really, you need a separation. for his sake as well as yours.
Good morning Babblers. I have read the recent conversation here and Tiny I am very concerned for you and wish I could help more directly, as I am sure we all do. Think of your options carefully.
Tiny - there is no easy way to do this... in the end, only you can make this decision... you don't need your husband's permission... or your pastor's... or your doctor's... or ours... just do what you want to do...
do you still love him tiny??
Yes I do
well that helps
any good spas around there?
any way enough tears from here lets talk about something happier
gotta get ready to go to the hospital and then off to work.....see everyone later
Let him know that you and he must make decisions out of LOVE for one anothers body, mind and soul.
bye faerie. take care of yourself.
bye faeriekae
bye faerie, take it easy sister
bye faerie ((((hugs))))

Faerie--good luck with your mom.
Bye Everyone :)
Just in time to say goodbye to faerie!
bye
i'm not saying leave, divorce or anything like that maybe if you make it clear to him that is not what you are thinking he will come around but I agree you don't need permission
We are all praying for your mum Faeri
tiny - please consider seriously what i said in my long post, about honoring your vows. i totally affirm your desire to do that, but i hope you can think about what that really means.

tiny, i got a year on ya. i kinda like the 50's~
babe, pig in the city?
I hope they are going to be good for me
*pretending i can't hear hurshy*
That was one disastrous sequel.
hurshy, you are too funny.
Maturity, wisdom, experience....I wouldn't want to be in my 20's again. Even my early 30's were tough. The 40's have been the best.
if i had a nickel for every disastrous sequel...
Thanks, Scrabbler, for those words. Just turned 40 this year....
Evanout, happy birthday to you.....*brings in huge chocolate cake for evan and all the babblers*
hey, 50 is the new 30, my mom says 80 is the new 50
anyone have the 2nd er5/10?
I finally felt like a grown-up at about 42. I stopped caring what everyone else thinks about me. Life is short--ENJOY every minute and laugh whenever possible!
CAKE!!!!, thanks annie!
so... haz...these squillions of re7's... i only have 3...
Awe Yumm I like Chocolate cake but I cant have it as I am to big now
LOL, emusing. Your mom is a youngster.
er5 - ve6 without the V
er5/10 = like poetry, minus the initial 'v'
my kids are thier 20's...i wouldn''t trade places! too much to figure out!
ty charm
Do you want points values?
*hands tiny a BIG piece of chocolate cake*
well, for starters i want to know how many more there are!
mmmmmmmm...no breakfast for me
ar 5/10?
Maybe I should start looking for some words.
Thanks Annie there goes my diet
ty, scrabbler--she is driving today from wpa to DC!
Then you'll see whether squillions was exaggerating or not!
by herself!
14 seven letter words
ar5, latin pl of ar4
exactly, haz. :)
I have three re7's - to put by, respects highly and turn round...
There are 6. Okay, not exactly squillions but I thought I should make it interesting.
She is a tough, independent 80 yr old who is just moving on with her life. I hope I can be like that if I live to 80.
majmom: latin plural of ar4/4
6 of them are "re's"
lol haz
sherb - change last vowel on turn round
Do either of you have 'to grab again'?
me, too! you can't stop her. she travels like crazy
got that one hursh - that's 'respects highly'
no, not switch the letters around, replace with diff vowel.
I didn't even have 'to grab'! :)
emuse, thatchoo
in your icon?
me neither
yes, and my daughter
The going backwards re7/40 can be reworked three different ways.
oh no, i did have grab, just not again.
nut, do i look familiar?
Pushy children always grab again.
got it, thanks hursh... had the ve5... didn't know it could be re'd...
nope
emusing, I am very impressed with your mom! What a chick.
haz... when you say reworked 3 ways, does that include the 8?
totally! she goes abroad all the time. like 4x a year. she says she can do a five yr plan, so she totally seizes the moment.
No, you can re7/40 a place in the babble hall of fame when you get this word
oh, ok, got that.
cant do a five yr plan, i mean
Phone
got that one...
so that just leaves one more re7.
ignore the phone...
do you think haz really has a phone call, sherb, or that she just likes to string us along? :)
No, she really needs to pee.
why wouldn't she just say that then?
she knows we don't like to have it handed to us on a plate...
Well, I don't tell everyone that I am off to drain my bladder.
hi, again
sure, but do you LIE and say you have a phone call? i don't... i would just go away and not say anything
see, maybe that is what pam did.
play nicely, girls...
True--I just quietly slink away.
lol, no I am dog sitting--sort of--and one of my friends came home
Hi.
hi again here....been gone long time. same people still here?
so, i got to chat and cry....

can I get a clue for the 3rd ce4/5 please
ty templeowl
Hi TO and Dorens
hi Temple and everyone else...nice cozy warm and dry here.. outside is horrific (i went out to pick up my nytimes and will get to crossword puzzles today finally - not gong anywhere else!)
could I have a clue for the ic7 please?
Trying, Scrabbler, really I am Today, she moves out, so I am hanging out here for a bit... I know it is for the best, in that she has moved on, but it is hard...
ic7 - without the cold stuff.
the equator is ic7
except in all those lovely tropical rum drinks!
thanks charm and hurshy
mo5/16 please?
Pam, focus on what YOU are going to do to enjoy life. Set short-term goals.
now that is really stretching it......
Dorens, we had that weather yesterday but today's beautiful!
am I dense, the ic eludes me
TY for the I clue--I was looking all over and it was so obvious.
3rd ce4,5 - Scots, Irish, Welsh and Cornish minus the "T".
mo5/16 on home (walk in a leisurely fashion)
pam, me,too!
I am trying to do that, scrabbler....
mo5/16 to amble along
hi everyone!!
hey, annie!
cool- but i had a friend who wanted to help with the zillions of leave in my yard tomorrow and they will be soggy!!
thanks, Unea. and Hi.
Hi, Annie
ic+2nd vowel+opposite of more
hey, charm!
cliffopa said a wooorrrrrddddd.
re leaves, yep, I've got a blanket of soggy ones everywhere! :-)
phantom word - celery
thanks, cliff
and scenario!
We were going to do storm clean-up at my parents' house today--trees, branches etc---but it is raining.
ty got the ce4
i finally finished re's.....i hate re's
w00t, done with C's!
the stormy weather has bunged up plans!
good for you.. i still have six left (c's) and not liking them
ar 5/12?
It certainly has. So new plans: laundry, clean up pets' quarters, watch TV, and Babble.
In that order Scrabbler?
and, you know, scrabbler, et al., I am sad, but not miserably so, and hurt, but not isolating and wailing... it's just hard to deal with the changes all at once, especially since they were made without my input...
Good afternoon, Babblers.:)
watching tv and babbling, but no chores yet as i am not at home, LOL
ar 5/12 = i am, you ***, + sunshiny western state
oohhh, just found 3 pumpkin-related c's!~ :-)
hey, jac!
HI JACS! x
hi Jacula
hi jacula
hi, jac!
na5/16 please?
Acceptance means to stop fighting against that which you cannot change. Accept what you can and cannot control. You CAN control your thinking and your actions.
hi Jacs :)
*pondering "pumpkin-related c's"*
true...
what you do to them, dorens.
scsrabbler's words are right out of my book (guidance counselor)
Biltong, clearly Babble is the priority, so when I hit the wall here I will take a break.
dorens, think gutting and decorating! :-)
good morning
ah, should have reallized that... did them an hour ago
morning, harp
hi harp
We think alike, Dorens.
hi harp
I associate those with rare roast beef... not pumpkins...
hi jane
thanks, dorens and scrabbler
aw sherb... what'd you have to go and say that for...
hmmm, don't eat beef so I guess that explains it :-)
hi jane :)
right, Scrabbler I was just making sure you had your priorities right! :)
Coffee refill!
now i want some roast beef and yorkshire pudding
sherb - Me, too re the c's. Was surprised that the restaurant word ending with 'y' wasn't allowed.
...I thought you were going to say you're a vegetarian...
me too (cause my kids are long gone and i haven't ca***d a pumpkin in years)-- only think in terms of turkey!
I have just been told it is past midnight to come to bed so good night all have an early morning
no, just hungry!
nite, tiny!
Goodnight Tiny. All the best to you.x
bye Tiny. Take care.
good night tiny ((((tiny))))
nite Tiny... see you tomorrow... {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}
night, Tiny!
night {{tiny}}, take care of yourself
Good night, Tiny!! (((((Tiny))))
bye tiny! see you tomorrow!
na5/16: anagram of gullible, inexperience. perhaps sounds like a branch of the military?
{{{{Hugs}}}} to all and thanks sometimes it is good to talk it out
bye tiny!
THANK YOU ALL god Night
nite Tiny -- be well
morning again everyone. Back from church breakfast and ready to tackle the grid again
hey, ch1212
hi ch
Hi ch1212
hi, ch1212
hi ch
morning ch :)
charm - did you see that clue for you? took me awhile to find it for ya :)
Would it be ok for me to share my problem?
of course biltong!
Morning ch!
share away Biltong...
Yes, Biltong, go ahead.
Does anyone suffer from depression?
hi ch
all ears herer
MOST people do from time to time
me, yes, mild depression - my mother, very bad, my uncle some too.
at times, mildly
i have
yes, bilton
biltong
Bingo! Since age 11. The story of my life.
hormone related
Ding ding ding! me too
I have done in the past... *mostly* manage to keep it at bay these days...
me too
hmm... correlation between babbling and depression?
I suffer from severe depression. I have just been through a really bad phase. Sometimes people don't understand depression.
manage with Zoloft--daughter manages with marathon running
i agree the word is very misused also
bittong, I do, and I am sure several of us here also understand. {{{ hugs }}}
The Black Monster that sucks you into the Black Hole. Dreadful!
are you on any medication, biltong? zoloft is helping me as well.
hard for people to understand if they aren't feeling it...
Biltong I understand I have it also
I call it my dark, deep undercurrent that is like an undertow tide, trying to suck me under
Billtong, I am sorry for your depression and I wish you luck for the future.
good descriprion
Yes, I am on citalopram and have just been put on an additional one, which I take at night. I am not even sure what the new one is called, as my husband has control of it.
Thank you for mentioning medication. You reminded me that I had forgotten to take mine this morning.
But you sasy you have just been through a bad phase, indicating that it is over?
You may e-mail me if you want to.
are you in counseling, too?
i forgot my med too
Biltong I love your dog awwwwww
Very good description ch1212. It is so encouraging to hear how many of you understand.
like a negative tape running in the background . . .
ok everybody take a sec and go take your meds ROFL
and don't you love it when someone just tells you to buck up, get over it?
I already took mine
could i get a clue for the very first mo6? i know the first four letters but still can't get it. (coffee....)
Biltong, did you watch Stephen Fry's docu on manic depression?
not really ssurprising....depression is so much more widespread than you realize, and babblers seem to be more aware
mo6/21 = sounds like an Irish lass' name.
harp - is there one before the teeny bite then?
dpression is the #1 mental health problem and it is undertreated
TO, that is why I wasn't sure how many babblers would actually understand. I should have known better, though.
gotta run BBL bye babbleland
moreen
got it in one.
yay! ...my last M... :)
Bittong, I struggled for years to accept the medical definition. I thought if I had enough counseling, exercise, ate right, prayed hard enough, read the right book, found the right counselor, and so on that it would end. After being part of a six month Lily drug study on severe depression, I finally accepted that for me, it takes medication in addition to the counseling, exercise, diet, etc.
f&%! Sorry.
yes, there's one before the teeny bite
babblers are the bestest!
no, orianova?
ch12 you have depression
me too
bye, shorty
Biltong, it was excellant. I sat there watching it, going 'yes, that's me. That's me. Yes, that's me, too'.
Yes, I have counselling too. I have come to the conclusion that depression is a life long illness, but like sugar diabetes and other illnesses, with the correct treatment, etc. it can be controlled and you CAN live a normal life.
yes, harpjane -- lifelong, since I was a young child. I was explaining that I fought against the medication for years before finally accepting that for me, it's part of what I need to do to cope.
the worst part is well meaning friends and pastors who think you just need an attitude adjustment. nobody tells a diabetic to "just praise god more and your pancreas will start making insulin" but they expect us to get serontonin by looking at the sunny side....
ok I'm done ranting
Harpjane, I could rant on that for ages, myself.
biltong, the tendency can also be inherited--definitely so in my case
This is fantastic. At last, a whole bunch of people who understnd me.
Help please with the 1st se4/5...I know I'll feel dumb
One thing that turned the tide for me was a friend who is a counselor, who said, "I don't know anyone who works harder to recover and be self aware and do the work it takes... and if there is anyone I've met who fits the clinical description, it's you." That shook me up enough to rethink some of my assumptions about the disease.
se4/5 parts of a minute
Yes, Une. My mom had shock treatment when she was younger and my daughter has it too. In fact, she was released from hospital just last week.
in the middle of my rant did I miss a clue for mo6? I have the teeny bite and the thing that grows on the north side of trees. What's the first one!
exercise is the key for me. and a better diet would help but i'm too much of a wimp for that...
it is odd how for some people, like me and my dad, it's just sort of a lifelong tendency to be sadder than other people. whereas my mom was fine until about 6 years ago, and was then thrown into a major depression. it's got worse and worse, she didn't want meds for a long time... now she's on meds, but her psychiatrist is willing to prescribe them without making her get therapy...
one who gathers the flat green stuff
orionova gave it....
harp, mo6 sounds like an Irish lasses' name, according to an earlier clue
exercise is THE solution for my daughter, thank god--she won't take medication
have that one chiley
i went for years - now i surmise it was hormonal began after miscarriage
I think, ch1212, that being in touch with one's feelings is essential, even as other therapy modalities are used...
Anyway, thank you babblers. It really really is reassuring to know there are people who understand and to those babblers who also have it, just hang in there :)
Glad that you got some comfort here, biltong!!!!!
last call for mo6 before i go back to bed...
mo6 = mo4 grows on the north side of a tree. one who collects it?
so glad you can "feel" the caring here . . .
:) :) :) :)
see Pam, and you felt bad before about sharing your problems? this is a great place for it
It's true there is a definite difference between 'situational' depression and clinical. This year has been a struggle with both, since I lost my dad in January, left a job, moved 2500 miles.... so some of this is perfectly "normal" at the moment.
time for tea break... {{{{{{hugs}}}}}} for Bil :)
It's difficult, since there is still so much of a stigma about it. It really does help to know that there are others out there who know what you are going through.
harp, do you have the one that rhymes with Ms Sullivan, actress who starred in 1950s films?
O'Sullivan
oh, good clue, une!! Thanks!
there is something to that, ch1212, and it sounds like you have been undergoing a lot of changes, and maybe the stress with that...
:-D
Yes, ch1212. It is probably normal given your circumstances, but do take care and work your way through the issues, before they manifest.
sometimes i think we perpetuate the stigma by feeling ashamed. i just treat it matter-of-factly and have no problem telling anyone i'm on zoloft, and they seem to accept it just fine.
that was it, thanks!
holy 8888 look at all those RE's! Now THAT's depressing!
Good point, hurshy
me too, hursh
i think the stigma is somewhat less than it was years ago
lol, harpjane.
Thanks for the reminder, bitton and pam -- it's true, and I'm being extra gentle right now in addition to the usual regimen of meds, exercise, etc. {{{ to all of us }}}
Dr God puked E's all over the grid.
Hurshy, I have no problem talking about it, either, but some people tend to recoil when you casually mention you're taking lithium. Bipolar isn't catching, for goodness sake!
are there good hiking places out there, ch?
scrabbler, LOL!
I have been told that my willingness/ability to talk about what I am going through might help me move through it without letting the sadness take hold...
LOLOLOL, scrabbler...
absolutely pam.. just talk to the right people
LOL, Dorens
Amazing, harpjane -- we are surrounded by (literally) thousands of acres of woods, even around where we live. There's a state park with a lake about 1/2 mile away.
Definitely will, Pam
The thing is, all I am being told is consistent...so, it is that much easier to listen....
I cannot focus on this grid with all of those E's messing me up.
Come on, scrabbler, get a grip ... or should I say, get a grid? :D
LOL. OK, OK, I am just whining. I have to get ahold of myself and do this.
one thought: it's worth professional help. you can wear your friends out. and even use your frineds in stead of dealing with things
well that's nice, ch, maybe even better than southern Idaho! (sorry, my panhandle attitude is slipping in....)
you can do it, scrabbler, i know you can!
True, TO
could i get another clue for ar 5/12-didnt get the other one
How about that U ?
:) That's okay, harpjane -- did I tell you we went to Jackson Hole for an interview but wound up saying no to the offer. Just didn't feel right, even though the landscape was incredible!!
That is always a concern, TO. I am at the stage where I think I have worn my family out, especially my husband.
it's a kind of palm ,majmom
PEE!
scrabbler, it
Hurry, hurshy!
excuse me, hurshy? :D
it's a medical sort of word, come on now!
majmom, it's a babbler grid regular--I am, you ar* + abbrev for Westernmost US state

pl of gaelic, although the er4 is not accepted as a word
I hope that helps
gramma------ the 6/27 switch the vowels in the middle, for the 7, pluralize
A clue for the se 5/12 would be greatly appreciated! It is escaping me somehow.
thanks Scrabbler, did not try it since the er4 was not accepted

last re 7/40: the preceding re 7 with a dif ending vowel
OK is everybody caught up now??? what next?
sorry all, I stepped away. Scrabbler, I am a vocalist. Used to sing high soprano range, but now can barely manage the C two above middle C. The boys, of course, play multiple instruments; and I have enjoyed dinking around with instruments as well. My hidden passion is historical musicology though I have let it slide for a decade; pre-baroque European music is my primary interest.
anyone have a clue for the re5 after superman?
change one of the e's to thirdl vowel
Wow, very impressive, Scrabbler. I don't have the music lobe to my brain, except for listening. when I quit the flute in 4th grade I think the teacher let out a big SIGH.
:-) that's okay, I prefer to listen to others these days, too!
you are awesome inge!
Stid, I called you Scrabbler, because my brain is overwhelmed with this grid--all those E's looking at me.
greeng, if you get that 5/16, you have the next three aswell

Go metaleather and zTink!
I"m done, just chattin' and giving an occasional clue. Here for the social hour this evening.
Oh, congrats for getting thru this mess of E's and R's.
my dogs are driving me crazy - my little pom is in heat- so our male shepherd keeps trying to mount our female shepherd who wants no part of it, & the mutt who hangs with the pom keeps trying to mount her, but he is fixed (or broken, depending on how you look at it) & once he is standing over her, he just doesn't know what to do & keeps whining - i can't wait until this is over- geez
The last re 7/40, please
hahahaha poor little mutt
mooz - yeah, i feel badly for him, he's a real sweetheart, now he's just so confused
last sc5 anyone?
sc5/12 = sc + ***ble dictionary this site "uses"

we had to keep the shepherds in their crates last night just so we could get some sleep - they
like their crates well enough, but we usually just put them in there when company comes over - just another instance of females driving males crazy :)
hey guys
Well, Babblers, time to go. I must participate in the Vacuum Festival before the Sabres start playing. Go Sabres!
I think of it more as the males just being crazy to begin with
