My own personal dinner tonight - made just for me an no one else (which is unusual) - 5 varities of lettuce, chopped cucumber, thinly sliced spring onions, orange segments,cold, sliced duck pieces and tomato ciabatta bread. Heaven! Followed that with pears, pumpkin seeds & plain Greek youhurt mix.

Ping - what is on the island now? A 94-year old caretaker who was robbed whilst he slept. All the contents of the Churcgh were taken and so the Church is kept locked now. The remains of the very lively community that found themselves dumped there, the strangely small graveyard for all those that died., (Explanation when I finish my holiday blog). Also, a guide on that trip who's grandad was on of those that made a family and thrived on the island.The island had a cinema, and all sorts, long before the rest of the Greek islands had such things. If there were any members of the original community left ther today they WOULD be Babblers, I have no doubt about that.

"Lots" is relative, Tea! LOL we have more than we usually get this time of year. Most of our snow happens in January, so over an inch already seems like a lot. Of course it melted, and then froze...
