Hi Sidmama. The trip to Vietnam and Cambodia was amazing -- most interesting was to hear history from their perspective. A combination of defiant communism and expanding entrepreneurship in both countries.

Morning all. The WE 5/22 is a very odd word.
Hiya Sue
hi sue!
yes, you think it would make more sense if the last two letters were switched
they gave us antibiotics, eyedrops, because it looks like pinkeye, anitihistamines, coughsyrup and put is in isolation for 24 hours...

Hi Faerie and Fran!

I've used all of the 14 I've found thus far
OMG! Just got here to find the teenie-tiniest grid I've seen yet! Is it a minimonster?

"And though she be but little, she is fierce" - the grid that is

nort
oops

Melon, just looking at the sun outside my window right n ow. No snow in Tel Aviv -- lots of wind and rain, though. We walked to the gala IPO concert in pouring rain to see/hear Mehta, Zuckerman and Barenboim in the 70th anniversary of the Toscanini concert.
i guess so jilli, trouble all the things i have that are worth money are not for sale :D
there's a bi 6/27
Oh, wowie ARB, I heard about that concert! btw, did you read the piece in Haaretz about the family of bassists in IPO: last name Kling: mom da 7 son, tho mom has retired.
my worthy goodies are not for sale YET, but....
mm, dad & son - i should swear off the ampersand
soon i think shirley will be worth nothing - people forget things as time goes by and then i will have to keep her until my kids grow old and she becomes an antique
Of course -- and have watched the family grow and age. We've been subscribers for 35 years to the IPO.
I have one word so far -- that descriptive bi5/18
jilli, I remember the Shirlet Temple paper dolls. A friend of mine had the real doll too - it had little tiny teeth peeking behind her smile.
stats for the single E at the top please someone?
35 years - cool. I love the IPO. Saw them a year or two ago here in Cleveland. Also saw the Jerusalem Quartet - they're smokin' good.
Drop the first letter for another word, Jilli. ANd then change the first letter for even another.
ec 4/6
thanks dax
dez - resound, again and 'gain....
thanks, arb!
Dez i have a vynil by Michael Hutchinson 'Dogs in space' thats worth about $500 to a mad colector
Anyone know if the CH6/30 is a common word, or something weird?
cheers infernal - should have seen that one
Classical music was always good here. Now it's got a Russian accent. Gregeriev was here last week and conducted them in Shostakovich - WOW
I'd vote for weird
me too
don't have it joym
ch 6/30 is someknd of biting insect. The word reminds me of a large Illinois city.
wow infernal - cant say as i ever liked the guy
thanx, doc...in that case, I could use a clue...a clew...even a cloooooo
this is about to get me in trouble!
Did i say a word?
someone sais it was duty minus the last vowel. still haven't figured it out myself.
Its a movie with him in it
it has 3 vowels and 3 non-vowels... (couldn't think how to spell that word..sorry)
TY ARB - the city got it for me
ahh cool herin
thanx arb!
biting insect got it for me. thanks.
Brandy - that was me and a mistake, I was clueing a 4/6 with a diff consonant - so it was complete nonsense. SOrry. I'm still asleep
well, all I can think of is chigger which ain't thar
I almost, almost got to play under Gregeriev. The Kirov Ballet came to Cleveland in 1990, he was the conductor. Unfortunately i had broken my hand 4 weeks earlier. The orchestra just loved him. I did get to see the ballet, which was wonderful, but playing would have been even better. He's THE hot property now - players and audiences alike love him.
Got it! Fireworks!
YAY joy!!!
wtg joy, good for you
way to go joym!
wheeeeeeeeeee to joy!
how many words are there joy?
Damn...what am I going to do all day tomorrw?
and to ARB - belatedly
Congrats Joy!
Another hot one is Gustav Dudamel, a kid (only 25, I think) from Venezuela. He's almost spastic on the podium, with wonderful rappport with the orchestra
well done joy
not work on this obviously!
35 rosewood!
YAY Joy
no jilli, but most of him is. suspect they are related. the thre consonants and three vowels clue helped too.
well 3 left for me!
30**
ch biting insect is avoiding me!
back to the Russians - IPO played an all-Russian program in Cleveland: Prokofiev Classical Sym & Shostakovich #5 - they OWn that repertoire. Encore was Swan Lake excerpts - very dear to me.

Got to go -- American granddaughter wants me! Poof
When Russians play Russian music, they are telling you a story from their heart & soul. Jerusalem Quartet was the same with Shostakovich.

thanks cyborg!
FIREWORKS!
Had a bad night and slept in :) Just got out of bed. Is it bad today?
It's a real hum dinger sprite! Hi ata
and http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/45 456967/
wtg finishers!
Owwwww is it the knotwork? All coloured? *click*
and hi everyone else! sorry, I just pounced on sprite!
one link is the full thing, one a detail
FMitch : more idiom for me to discover! What is a hum dinger?
Ata: all I can say is WOWWWWWWWW!
:) :) :)
Good morning all. Who's a humdinger?
humdinger) noun: someone of remarkable excellence (Example: "A humdinger of a secretary"
Hey BabbleRabble! To the rescue as ever :) Thanks!
Good morning Babbe - you're early today!
Hi Haz, I was referring to the grid as a hum dinger
Ah - do you mean it should have a health warning?
certainly for it proliferation of babble words.
FM and Haz *points down to links* have a look!
Babble words! I go to see.....
Darn, I got very excited and thought crwth was there.....
It is, only not in the right order. Tried it too :)
Ata have just looked and no wonder you were in 2 minds at to which medum to use!! What a challenge but what an outcome - it's so complex Ata, wonderful
it ended up mainly watercolour with a smidgen of pencil to tidy stuff up LOL
It is a bit like M.C. Escher, but even more like you, Ata. I am SO glad you used the watercolour!
so am I, sprite! even though it looks a bit messy ...I have to practice to get better!
Yea sure - the kind of messy only the artist herself sees.
obviously LOL :)
th5/12 pls - i have the prickly one
Change last letter of the prickly one, deb
hi, everyone...I just realized that today is my first anniversary
as a Babbler...
Yeah Angel! Many many happy babbling returns to you, dear! *hug*
thanks Sprite - thought I tried all variations ***Fireworks***
A year of babble woohoo!!
wtg deb!
and the Resource Guide
Which has been used by so many people Angel
and the Resource Guide will be online for a year on February 20. My, how time flies!
So do you get anything special from your husband for your 1st anniversary?
not this year. Poor dear is sick, bless his heart.
Oh no! I hope he gets better soon.
He has a virus...but he's going to the doctor today. We both are.
Hope you both will be well soon then. Viruses are nasty.
I'm really glad that I've had a year's worth of Babble experience for today's grid. it would be much harder for a new player, I think.
and I think I finished in record time for me.
wtg Angel! Yes, this is definately a babblet babble.
am i the only one struggling with this puzzle today? at 1st i thought this puzzle would be easy with a few words to find but it is proving to be quite challenging.
It's because it's all individual words, some quite unusual.
pinkhat: it is a real struggler, we were just commenting on that. Lots of uncommon words that we only know because of babble.
it sfunny, I dreamt we had a grid with 32 words today. I wasn't far off!
It's a little grid but big enough to hide a French car in (or fruit).
Close enough!
The fruit, but not the car, FMitch!
Ooooh, FMitch, you're clever.
lol thats it I've peak already
i should have known better the smaller the puzzle the harder it becomes. im not familar with the obscure words that are in the grid so i'll call it a day for now.
It always annoys me that 'thon' (short for that or the one) isn't allowed. In Ireland the pop group is jokingly referred to as 'Take Thon'
We just have to educate enable.
pinkhat - if you come back later, you'll find Lickety's list and online word resources to be a big help. And clues of course.
Lickety's is up
But we'll all punish ourselves for a while to come....
haz1558 do you know the website for lickety's or is it www.lickety's....? this is all new to me
yeah, this is fun
pinkhat: see the links at the bottom of the page.
pink - look under Friends of Babble, at the left hand side of the page. You'll see Lickety's Babble CLues in green. It's possible to bring it up alongside babble and enter the words onto it.
Goodness. I thought as the page loaded 'I hope for a smaller grid' - but this is ridiculous - is it a tricky one?
poor *bichon* frise dogs. not allowed in enable
Devious.
tricky enough to keep you occupied for a while, matty :)
At least there's a female Bichon!
True!
This is a bit tricky - I've only found 15 words thus far, and none of the sixes.
small but tricky - told you so ;)
suggest sit down in front of dictionary...have 4 hours to spare...scan each page...from a...to ....z....a learning experience
you'll be babble king in no time that way, freddie
matty--ti6/24--bone pl
one of the 6s is a fruit.
Thanks mom!
Hey Freddie, you'll need a rather esoteric dictionary
yw matty -- finally able to give rather than receive (clues, that is!)
We should be able to have phor! As in phor, what a fit bloke!
Add a vowel, matty :)
Put a different consonant on the end, matty, ph4/6
another 6 is a flea. C6 start with eastern word for power, strength; + leave + vowel.
Found Haz's, but not Sprite's...
what's the *other* 6 though ...
ep6 is Sprite's.
tssssss
there isnt an ep6
Ahh...was trying to put the vowel elsewhere.
E5 you mean
Sorry - ep5/14 - the magistrate
I have 2xC and a T, still missing one 6.
same here sprite. its a w,c,b or p
Now....Eastern word for strength?
It is a B, C or T.
You know it, matty. Like in Tai ....
I do, thanks St
Any one narrowing it down further?
Sprite, that should have read!
grin
Got the C! Two sixes down, and two to go.
so its a B or C ...
Ata: can only be a C or B then.
:)
gmta ;)
It's not a C (she said trembling)
Now...how about the fruit?
b then!
There is a bi6/27
wow! We're looking for a B6. Matty: sour. Very sour.
bi6/27
So there is!
bi + abbreviated french car
Or President Reagan follows the pen.
Bi6: very tiny amount, usually depicted by a greek m, change first letter.
is this the smallest one yet?
Thanks Haz. So have the C the flea, the B the very small amount, and the t the bone - so I'm missing the fruit, am I? What letter does it start with?
matty: C.
I thought the C was the flea?
ci6 - think French car having lost a vowel
Linda: I don't think so. I think we had one in the 20s once. But it is a long time ago.
2xC matty
Ooooh - got it!
Thanks guys.
Must be off, things to do, Happy Babbling.
Any clues for the we5/22? Only this and the ec 4/6 to go but brain now completely mush!
bye FMitch!
See ya Fi!
Have a good day, FMitch!
OK, 11 left and an hour before the alarm--I'm seeing a cat nap in my immediate future. Later, kids!
we5/22 - w plus the first three letters of the resounding e4/6, finish with the beverage sounding letter
bored: the e4 is something you hear again and again. The W5 is W + that E4, change last letter.
Sleep well, mom.
ohoh, mom - sounds like a short night!
thanks Spite and Haz. i've got one ec4 but there's another one?
Same word with different last vowel, bored.
There are a few - change the vowel on the end of the resounding one to get a Chaucerian word for each. Also et4/6 - an artistic technique
And fireworks!
thanks for the we5/22, Haz - got it!
1 to go!
That's good, bored.
what's the point total?
Congratulations sprite!
Thanks - got it. All done - Yay!
Well done!
a round 400, Ata
ty and fireworks!
yeah bored!
wtg Ata :) It was a fun grid, even though it was nasty :)
Congratulations Atalante!
it was fun!
Poor husband is even more convinced, having looked at my word list, that these words are 'made up'.
Eight left - and I've come to a grinding halt. I need 3 fours and 5 fives - I need 2 Cs, and I, three Ts, a P and an E
The worrying thing is that we KNOW those words, Haz. Even the meaning of most.
lol I bet! at least he should like the T6 though :)
Oh, he'll accept anything medical!
His father has even suffered from go4/7, so that'll be okay.
we need a daily challenge. choose a babblet per day and have to use it in conversation
We need a daily challenge? Like this isn't enough?!
looool
Ywis, Ata, ywis!
I'm sure Haz would love to drop an etui or two into conversation!
I have a horrible feeling that if I start to use some of these words, the men in the white coats from the home for the bewildered would be summoned!
they're coming to take us away aha, they're coming to take us away...
My daughter sewed my mother an etui with the word 'etui' stitched on it for no other reason than that Mom said she always wanted to use the word in coversation - she could say 'my granddaughter made me an etui'.
woot!
that's just great, matty!
I'd happily drop an etui! My sewing of the Christmas turkey was achieved at some risk to life and limb, but I used red thread (a) to disguise possible blood loss and (b) to look jolly festive.
Mum does the NY Times crossword, where Etui (along with oleo and oreo) are common visitors.
you sewed????!!!!
Once a year, Atalante, once a year.
You sewed a TURKEY?
isnt husband best qualified to sew up turkeys!
Must have been a bit fibrey.... :D
Yes, an embroidery triumph. No, I sewed the stuffing into the neck of the turkey. It's what my mother did.......
Atalante - if he did the sewing, there would be green drapes and curved needles and me acting as nurse. No, keep him out of the kitchen, I say.
now i've got the answers, i'm trying to understand them? what the heck is wecht when it's at home? it's the only one i can't find in the dictionary.
Oooh!!!
bored, shame on you!
sorry guys, shouldn't have put the full word in there - lapse of ettiquette :-(
You've given away a word, boredagain! (we don't know what it is, but google it and see what you get)
shame indeed - i'll go now. happy babbling to all.
Fireworks! Thanks for your help on this baby, yet challenging, puzzle.
congrats matty
bye bored
See you again, boredagain! And time for me to go as well. Nice to be here this morning.
Anyone need anything before I go?
take care, haz
we5: (n) a standard by which something is measured, a heavy body
Bye all!
bye all
and, of course, it is scottish
bye sprite
byeeee!
For who wants it, this is the we5 link: http://www.abdn.ac.uk/virtualmus eum/index.php?page=topic&topic=wecht&c ase=n48&first=5&last=21&roomlocation=n g
but it has the word on it, so it is a spoiler link!
Always amused at your reactions to Scots words, most of them are only used colloquially and wouldn't be considered "proper" English by schools etc. Though no doubt of ancient origins. Just looking at mt cat, and she's a hell of a we5/22...fat camp for her!!!!
*my
Morning all! This grid looks small buut vicious. Is it?
*but. Slip of the finger there.
yup!
morning jac
Oddly enough, my first word found was we5/22.;(
hi Jac, yes it is, but still fun. lizmac: I love those words. But they are difficult to spot, especially the first time. Most english words look 'normal' to me now, but scottish... and irish... and yiddish... they can really stump me :)
thanks sprite and haz1558 lickety's was incredibly helpful
sprite - Hi. If I can get to the post office today I'll be airmailing the Crete thing to you.
Looking forward to it, Jac, but no hurry of course :) Whenever is good for you.
Good, pink! Did you finish?
Oho, just found another Scots one PE4...to pant
Good morning All. I am in shock. 35 words! Where was this Christmas day?
morning merk
Morning, Merk. That's what I said!
Though I see it has a different definition as well
I am off, have a great day/night/whatever all of you and thanks for the fun.
'Bye Sprite.
bye sprite (I jumped the gun earlier...sorry!) :o)
Anyone got the PH ?
and a clue for it !
did
What is the grid like? Words aren't poppping out at me.
tele****e
lizmac - ph4. Short communication instrument.
TYVM
yw
Merk - You need to look at the grid for a while before any words become apparent. They do... eventually.
IC
I read that there are foreign words though. They bog me down.
im still at it sprite but i've now got 13 words to find instead of 25 i remain hopeful to complete
blah--I have to put this aside and get ready for work. Have a wonderful day.
You, too, Nonnie. See you.
clue for the ch 6 please
Is anyone here? Noses in the grid? I am quite totally stuck in the ch words. I only have a 4,6.
Merk - Not using a list yet but I do have ch4/7 - smart & fashionable, ch4/6 - like the slip of paper one but with a diff. vowel.
Merk, I have ch4, fashionable- ch4, ch** chat and ch4 not off but **
I just realized there is a ch at the bottom of the grid, too. Perhaps I'll make it yet.
ch6/30 - a tropical flea
TY
merk it's the bottom ch + 3rd vowel + they come & ** + 2nd vowel
Thanks Ata & Crone.
We have something here ... and we are not tropical ... that bites you when you sit on the grass, wherever your clothing is tight ... waistbands, ankles. It starts the same way

I finished ... the fastest in a week and without coffee!
Good morning Babblers. 35 words!
bi6? please.
ohhhh lol well never finished one yet so no wonder lol
Raindaze - 'Fireworks!' means we have finished the grid. When you are a pro player you get virtual fireworks.
This was a nice breather.
No No NO!! am enjoying the sex appeal!
Morning Scrabbler.
thanks
Jacula--is that your "super" man?
g luck lunch time here
First three letters of the bi 4,7, then Reagan's name
ROFLOL, Mr.P. He's sighing and grinning now.
Scrabbler - Yes. Pic was taken for Mr.P.:D
How do we enlarge the photo so we can get a better look at Superman?
TY
Merk - ROFLOL.
:D :D :D
I think I need to get my good magnifying glass out of my stamp kit.
Ooo, don't crush Superman's self-esteem.
GM- can anyone please help me with we5?
I don't know how to clue it w/o giving it away. It is a strange spelling.
SMall grid, but tough, I see. I am not readily finding words. I like that initial rush of typing like crazy.
that pic is large enough ty
wow - small grid! Good morning all!
From the e go southeast on the grid twice, then west
Paul--are you the "Superman"?
WE + 3 consonants sounds guttural
we5 is the guy who CSI ed Kennedy
IC please?
Thanks, got it!
Thanks, got it!
yes scrabbler
It sort of makes a mini Z on the grid when you get it.
He is super pyjama man!! gorgeous bed time apparel
Good day babblers. What....35 words? How unusual!
Adorable photo, Paul. Did you know she would post it for all of the world to see?
Since I finished early, I'd better go and get stuff finished here.

towards the bottom of this page, there are the "freinds of babble" links... in the center column is a link for "lickity's babble clues" it will give you the first two letters of all the words in alphabetical order, with the number of letters and points for each word... it's great for helping you find what you need
for example: HI 5,16... that means you are looking for a 5 letter word that begins with HI, and is worth 16 points.
oh right thank you
great ty v much
35 words? is it hard or easy?
as you play more, you might need it less and less, but I still use it, as do many others. On long grids, for me it is essntial to keep everything in order, so I don't get all mixed up, and unable to find what word I'm looking for

You mean you didn't even start with pencil underneath? Goodness gracious!
I started with an outline-ish of light grey pen, but it wasn't perfect. then w/colour. then black outlining on top!
Aha. I was picturing the black going down first and then filling in, but finishing with the black makes more sense. Anyway, it's gorgeous.
I've always started from the black before, but it seems to make more sense putting on last, I've decided
Gives you more flexibility, I think, and also probably ends up neater.
I think so. I'm certainly going to keep on working that way
Fireworks for 2nd ever time. The B6 took ages to find

I braved the shops for the first time since Christmas today, just to get a few bits and pieces. There are men wandering around with dazed expressions, not sure whether they haven't been home since before Christmas.
rofl they probably havent or they are still deciding which present to buy lol
bi 6/27 anyone?
I suppose if their wives have told them 'Don't come home until you get me something nice', they're kind of under pressure.
rofl thats true
LOL priceless Haz Hi jean
Ive got this mental image of dazed men looking at present lol
Hello FMitch!
Hello FMitch was your Christmas good then?
bi6/27 - Reagan follows the cheap pen
It was thanks jean
Roll on New Years Eve lol
good day everyone
The weather forecasters say there are going to be gales etc for New Year's Eve. You can always rely on them to lighten the mood.
Hello abe:)
Hello abe!
oh no not the dreaded gales oh well we will just have to make the best of it lol
Hello Jean and Haz :)
abe - your George Michael is looking very Wham like.
Until I opened the icon, I thought it was a Victorian girl in a bonnet. How wrong could I be?
blooming eck the puppy is destroying her bed lol daft mare
Haz- It was during the Wham days that he recorded my favorite Christmas song!
He was mistaken for Martha Stewart last week!
Poor George - never mistaken for a manly figure.
LOL
Hi abe, lol mistaken for Martha Stewart!
Hi FMitch! It led to a funny chat...
Did he have a hot glue gun in his hand at the time?
ic5/14?
ic5 - add part of an equine
He was making us a holiday pie...
I hope he wasn't under the influence with a hot glue gun. That could be dangerous.
He'd never get the glue out of that hair.
thanks haz!
and that would be the biggest tragedy of all
You're welcome, smaller.
all those lovely christmas baubles ... someone stop me before I go too far!
Keep going, I'm interested to see how far you'll go yourself.

Congrats jean
wtg Jean!

well shes not a puppy in the real sense shes 15months old we acquired a beagle last August she was 11months old when we got her
well, that's embarrassing - sorry! I typed in the wrong space...
she will never win an obedience class lol
Ah - we once had a vet whose beagle travelled everywhere in the car with her. It didn't do a lot for the car's interior. She recalls driving it to the garage when selling it, with her doctor husband madly trying to sew the seats back together.
Good Day All! Clue for CH 6 pls

Hi, Stid, and all end-of-the-year Babblers. I have had the best time with this little grid. I will take a personal (mini) bow for having monkeyed all of the really strange ones today. I was down to nine words, went to Lickety's List, and just went berserk on the keyboard. (This is not implying any real intelligence for the words that came out!) But, at any rate, FIREWORKS! Happy New Year to all.

Evening, all. I finished this pup this a.m. Just popping in to post my protest poem:

bye disney!
aww that's great grammabichon!
Itsy bitsy puzzle, makes me want to pout. Along came the flip and washed the the puzzle out.
very good, judi!!!
great, judi
lol judi
Bichon most of my grands now call me the G-ma, lol
Thank you, jili. This was the smallest puzzle I think we've ever had. I finished it in about 30 min. Only had to cheat with the list on the last 5 words. Frankly, I think it was an insult to our collective intelligence.
I'm hoping to be Bubby, after my Bubby Becky
I disagree. I'm still searching for a few words.
just finished the puzzle by making up a woid (if you know what I mean)
we call all the brothers in our famiy bubby
Bubby is a Yiddish grandma
lol book
I wish using the list was not considered cheating. Asking for clues to words somebody else has found isn't!
when you have only one left, you know what letter it starts from on the grid, and you just keep typing intil you get one 8-)
Bigger is better. Although, anything over 300 words is just ridiculous. So, I guess we just need to have a happy medium.
aww then I shall call ya bubbybichon after the blessed event! boy or girl?
jillibus, using the list isn't cheating, is "research" LOL
Hello everyone
Good point, Jili. Poor use of words. I shall henceforth refer to it as "cluing".
From lickety's clue page:
I agree jilli and book
hello becca
Grid Stats for Last 265 grids Largest Word Count 452 words 8592 14 Apr Smallest Word Count 45 words 594 25 Jul Average Word Count 175 words
Fetus had legs crossed
*peeking in* i don't think using the list is cheating either. i'm only not using it today to try to draw out the grid a little longer!
452 woids? before i joined i guess
Hi jili
Sometimes the monster grids are more intimidating. You type and type and type and never seem to make any headway.
that happens bichon, but of course I know you don't care ( :
i would say of the 35 woids on this grid, only 12 would be ones that most average people would know
bi6 anyone?
Proof that Babblers are abnormal, Book Dr. Gwen.
I have a boy and a girl and it's a toss-up
lol Judi
using all help available can be considered altruistic if the babbler finishes fast and can then offer clues to others - grin
bi plus a wise old woman (5 letter word, drop the last letter)
judi, agree! we're "special" LOL
lol, Book Dr. Gwen. Indeed. In so many ways.
BTW, fireworks
yay jilli!
Smashing, Jilibus! Congrats.

ahhh, now i get it! that's so cool that he's kept in touch with Tom and your family.
yes -- he is one of the few friends who has done so. Mind you -- I am NOT good at writing letters and even worse at making phone calls. So until the internet and email it was hard to stay in touch with anyone!
lol Stid, i'm the same way!

Hi kalea.

pretty good jac! with a wedding, birthday and christmas in a span of two months, our apt. is jam-packed with STUFF!
wooooooooohoooooooooooooo arlene
congrats arlenee!
actually, two bdays - both in dec.
hi jac
choo is so a word. it's what a train says.
no... that's choo-choo. ;)
A tip - if you are 5 weeks into trying to recover from a cold.flu type buggy thing, NEVER buy tissues with menthol & balm. I think it's the menthol in them that is giving me sneezing fits right now. Not fun when it's 3.29am and your partner, and you son are sleeping, and you've got up quietly due to hot flushes (flashes in USA)... and you're still waiting for your daughter to arrive home.
also chort. it is a chortle that is cut short.
does the game tell you when you finish? I thought there were 35 words.
egads, jac. that does sound difficult.
there are, ec4mira
sometimes there are fireworks, echo, but not always for non-pro members. if you've got 35, you are done
it does if you upgrade to pro, echo... but you are right... 35... you're done. :)
ec4/6mira - yes, it tells you when you've finished if you are a pro player.
thanks!
can i bother anyone for the second letter of the w?
Non-pro players only get the stats and finishing fireworks for their first 2 weeks.
e
thanks pappa, as the monkeys go to work
e? smooth? You sound like a Lancashire lad! LOL.
now that's an odd one. thanks, monkeys. thanks, pappa.

bye kalea... sorry I missed you.

and it was very nice, stid, thanks
*nodding approvingly at LeslieAnn's choice of parents*
yep, i did good there
good. heard from Nat the other day -- is she doing okay?
she seemed ok today, stid... or maybe it was last night
yes, she's doing good, got an ipod for christmas. are we refering to the boy?
yes -- not a very nice thing he did. Tom loves the ipod he got for joining a bank!
Does anybody have a clue for ci 6/21 word word please?
no not at all. nat has a tendency to go for guys that are, in my lovely husband's opinion, "tools."
lemony, min
ci 6 is the stuff they used to put in fruitcakes made from orange and lemon rinds...
well -- she's still young, eventually someone like my Tom is bound to turn up!
{{{MIN}}} are you back from Vermont? I just realized it was you asking for that clue!
that's true. her family likes to say she changes boyfriends as often as normal people change their socks ;)
any help for the g that's not go 4/7?
I went through a phase like that, LeslieAnn -- way back in the long ago *peers into the past*
I think it means "jest" LeslieAnn, gi 4/8
Thank you for my last clue stidmama! I am finally done!
YAY Min! *offers some only slightly stale eggnog flavored saltwater taffy*

Nope, BKH. YOu must now pay a one time fee of about $14.95 for a lifetime's membership. That's not a lot to ask!
Hell! You're back again.xx
hiya jacula!
Hi, Helll.
well, i did it, second time only! baby bis now asleep so i must go too. nite all, thx for help.
Oh, and before you ask, Hell, it's a combination of night sweats and daughter not being home yet tht has me stilll here now.
Night, braking! Hope to see you become a Pro soon! \if you know what I mean.
haha jacula! hate those night sweats - yep - bring an icepack with me to bed every night, couldn't fall asleep if i didn't
Daughter IS home now, and we've had the best talk ever, i.e. I've not been 'blamed' for everything.
YAY!
Exactly, Helll! I knew the day would come!
HELL-O HELL-N! and all! *grin*
If my Other Half knew what I'd been through in those enforced family encounter 'meeetings' in the clinic where my daughter was, he'd maybe not get so nnoyed at me indulging her.
Hi, stid!

So here's a hypothetical -- if you built a platform across the international dateline and straddled it... would you be in two times at once and would this create a paradox if you did something... on which day would you have done it?
*anticipating Helen's fireworks, puts fingers in ears*
Bloody hell, Stid! I'll save that q til later!
clearly, the gird was not nearly enought to make stid's head hurt - she's found another creative way

BTW: would that be Douglas Fir or Noble Fir, Helen?
oh no, now you've got jac doing it too - yikers!
I know, helen -- but it's so much fun!
Well done, Hell!
hey hoot! how's life in the big city in the middle of winter?
Evening everyone. Happy New year. Hope you all had a great xmas
Hoot it was great! we had a long leisurely morning at home! *grin* You?
Memphis just thinks it's abig city. More like downtown with appendiges
we had a douglas fir last few years, this year because he's been so grief-stricken, i let him pick out the tree all by himself - usually it's quite the involved process, as i MUST have the perfect tree -
Hi Hoot! How are you and how is the greywoulf family?
So what type of tree did you get this year? I am partial to scotch pines -- lovely scent. but allergic...
Far as I know he is fine. Was on last night but I missed him.
apendiges?
i just let him pick it out, didn't check it or anything, he picked out a balsam - so needless to say, needles everywhere & ornaments falling off all the time - serves me right for being nice!
Hi all...
oh but balsams smell really good too... I think if I could handle the allergy problems I'd get a nice pine for the corner of the room and then put balsam garlands up elsewhere.
We got a Frasier. It was either that or another white pine. Next year we'll do a bit of trimming though. Used dozens of ornaments and it still looks naked cause the branches hid a lot of them.
didn't do the 'freshness test' - but it made life easier for him for those few seconds, i suppose that should be enough for me ------another *crash*
hi Angelsong! HAPPY BABBLEVERSARY!
It's just the menthol addition to tissues this Christmas tht has had me sneezing.
hi angelsong!
Did you recut the butt of the trunk, helen? if you don't, the cells seal up pretty quick and then they can't absorb water...
And temps today reached low 60's
oh hoot, that sounds lovely! we didn't get above 37 all day.
happy anniversary to angelsong!!! YAY!!!
Just reminded me - have to water tree! BRB!
stid - the guy at the tree lot always cuts more off
thanks, Stid! it is so wonderful Babbling for a year.
okay, well then it shouldn't be an issue. *sigh*
yes - babble has really improved the quality of my life too - i no longer care about the piles of clothes & sinkfulls of dishes - I MUST babble !
are you feeling better now Angelsong? I know you were a bit poorly earlier...
I'm off to bed again now, girls, I think. Will cuddle up to handsome man who might be a bit crosss wih me, in his msleep, for not being there before.
sweet dreams Jac! was good to see you!
Byee!
