it is NOT easy to clip the nails of a 80 lb German Shepherd who was badly traumatized by a previous owner and goes ballistic even when on a triple dose of Xanax! NO -- he MUST be completely sedated and unconscious to trim his nails, check his ears and do other maintenance. I have trimmed many critters' nails, but after a year and a half he still won't let me anywhere near his feet.
I always used to clip my dog's nails. I do the rabbits abd guinea pigs nails, and my neighbour's rabbit's nails. It's easier if they have white nails so you can see where the 'quick' is, but you soon learn.

for the pride, I was trying to portray someone who spent her time in a mirror, reveling in her own "beauty" that had transformerd her into an ugly over the top diva.
she is lovely...sans the overdone make up.
oh she really is... without all that, she is really a beautiful girl! and we hit it off great... hopefully we'll be able to work more in the future together

i think the pride ones continue with the sloth or maybe towards lust. I don't see pride in it.
and like I said, I had approached 2 other people to do the sloth... they both thought it was a great idea, but wouldn't let me make them look so destitute... she really was easy to work with
there's something related to pride, called "vainglory" that is what they reminded me of.

so it was a bass! The bridge looked small...oops! :-)
it was the macro setting I was using. you're not the first musician to make that mistake.. but it stands about 5 feet 7 or 8 inchs.. and a loooow tone... So, I'm sure its a bass... lol although after one on\ther musician questioned me, I wasn't so sure. lol
