by the way-- one great way to expand your wording knowledge fast is to find a place that gives you the words you miss- ... ive tried wordracer at yahoo (a little too kiddish for me, but good tool, i think you can even set it up with a friend in yahoo IM), weboggle (decent, but dictionary not up to date), and jumbletime.com (probably the best site out there to learn, but can be boring i suppose)
i would love to instant..but i just don't have that kind of time, stamina or solitude.... :) but, i will reference the sites, for future use, for paper purposes...have a few coming up
used to try tangleword at playsite, or wherever it is now, but that place tended to attract cheaters too... hate that crap

not exactly sherb-- those games i listed are interactive games. a puzzle is provided, you enter what you find, and at the end of the game, it lists all the words you missed.

tangleword, wordracer, jumbletime and weboggle are all timed games with opponents. lexpert is just a dictionary you can narrow by whaetver parameters you put in

this dictionary here seems pretty reasonable- not sure it meshes exactly with OWL2 (teh official scrabble wordlist as of 2006), but it's pretty darn close.
I don't like times games so much... prefer to take it slowly...
