download to desktop so when you turn your comp on the icon will be there on your desktop to open
frances are you sure it is not sitting on your toolbar
Def not on my toolbar and surely you would need to open the address to be able to specify what you want to do with it........oir am I missing something?
depends how your system is set up but at some stage it will give you an option of where you want to save /download it to eg.disk ,temp file ,c drive, etc
might be best to email lickety and let him know what your problem is he will solve it you can be sure of that

I have succumbed to version 4 - I know version 5 is out, but this is the first time I have used it in any form. Lickety is VERY creative.
well lickety was on here today asking us to try V5 its great still got to think but you dont get dizzy anymore
I felt sorry for inge yesterday as she was convinced that we were all being transported to some parallel Lickety/babble universe and that she was being left behind. The fact is, with this, you can choose to do babble exactly how you want it. I hope we can persuade her not to panic.

What#s changed? It looks the same as it always did to me. Am I doing something wrong? I just use it to cut and paste the list onto my desktop. Oggy, we two are in another universe

Hydra - I can only explain it in non-computer language. The end result of e-mailing lickety, getting a reference code thing, downloading it and running it is that when you click on it, you get Babble as we know it, but with the additions of Lickety's clues on the side (which can be hidden until needed) and the ability to, with the click of a button, transfer your words from babble to the clues or vice versa.
hydra they are update versions of licketys babble clues. the latest version 5 gives you all options like you type the word once and it goes to both babble and clues at the same time you have on your screen the three pages the latest version there is no cut paste involved it does it all at once
That soounds amazing, Haz. Is it better than having it as a tab at the bottom of the page, whic is what I do?

You can also type your words in the chat box and as long as it is a single word, when you hit enter, it goes to the grid.

It is easier in that you have the clues beside you and you don't have to keep clicking back and forward.

It's available to everyone, loredana. I think the only problem would be in chat, if you reverted to pro-chat only - that would cut Lori out, but people probably only use that facility if they are being bothered by trolls or semi trolls.

oh u can highlight it and click and drag the file to your desktop and an icon will show up on your desktop
