I would be delighted if goldies would use the site to find words and leave it at that. But a 10 year old has caused an unbelievable amount of tension and annoyance and we feel held to ransom - because he's 10 and you're supposed to be kind.....

well, I really think that if they are such a pain to so many regular members, something should be done about them. If they cannot learn how to behave, they must go.

I am hardly ever annoyed by someone asking clues, lore, really. Helping each other is part of the fun of this site. But goldies is not asking for clues for a word he cannot find, he asks them ALL.

I have seen goldies here before and thought the language was sometimes a bit advanced for a ten year old
I really have tried to be patient, thinking that he/they would get the message and learn by example as to how the game and the chat log is conducted for the benefit of all. But i'm running out of patience with someone who doesn't seem to look at the grid and who needs help with the simplest words. Clueing and reclueing becomes a nightmare.

Spot wasn't officially ours.... we had some cat food left when our Rock cat died in late January... and there were a couple of strays hanging around outside... well, one was Spot and she was expecting...

and of course we couldn't let her starve in the cold ...we will have her spayed soon and then let her go back outside the house... we hope she'll think of this as home and return, but even if she doesn't, we'll feed her outside and she'll not be having babies every few months
she's found a good home! I bet she'll stay
lucky us I think, we were grieving so for Rock... having Spot and now also the kittens to concentrate on has helped
its hard when you lose one isn't it. I have 5 cats now but lost my favourite tom cat, Ted, in 2000 and I still miss him so much
we sure hope so. the babies are ours for certain! we're even constructing an outside run/play area for them to keep them safe from marauding dogs and other critters

don't know what he's been told. two ambulance trips to the er... question of stroke.. no way. saw an ENT 2 days ago, he said when the perforations healed, there was no place for the fluid to drain, so it builds. he's on a Medrol dosepack and nasonex until surgery. he did well for a couple of days, now the dizziness is back, vomiting, loss of cons. he's lost 15 lbs in 10 days
