Well, more than half done. I suppose it's time to turn in for the night.
bye, eSeamus
I don't know how you all get words so quickly
I don't know either, jilli. I'm slow.
It never fails. I get set to step away and words jump out at me. Good night all.
night eSeamus
well, jilli, me personally...while i'm new to this game, this isn't the first game i've played whose setup is exactly like boggle/tangleword/word racer, so i find this to be pretty easy. I also happen to type extremely fast and since there's no penalties for typing in wrong guesses, that pretty much gives me free reign to type whatever words i want in.
congratulations, Cs ... I will always be the tortoise that never beats the hare .. . even, I enjoy the challenge
i enjoy the challenge as well, as this game still isn't unbelievably easy to play either. I always manage to get stuck on 3 or 4 small words which in a puzzle of 300+ words, is like looking for a needle in the proverbial haystack. But usually at that point, I'll just start typing in every single combo for a word I can think of, even if they don't sound like words to me.
Whatever, Cs, you're obviously miles ahead of the likes of me!
Why compare? Kudos to Cs! Kudos to you!
Absolutely, BabbleRabble!
i'm not comparing, jilli, nor am i trying to make anyone feel bad. Sorry if that's how you or anyone else took it. I'm just saying I've played games like this one before, and also tons of other word games online, so that helps out when I play this game. I'm not trying to belittle the game for anyone and I'm sorry if it came across that way.
That is not my intention either, Cs. You are a remarkable player. I tip my hat to you!
That was I was doing too, Cs.
Morning all Popped in to see what sort of grid we have today and its another big one. Dr_G is making us work for our words!! But no C's today !!
hi, FMitch
Good morning all from a quite chilly Durban - mind it is mid-winter!
Tipping my hat, that is (if I were wearing a hat at this hour -LOL)
hi, ursh
hi fm, ursh
hi FMitch and ursh
Hello Jellen and jilli and ursh.
ursh -- it's chilly here too, and it's summer, hah
so, going totally off-topic here, lol...i'm not one to usually go out and see a movie in the theater, but my brother was treating me, so i couldn't exactly say no, lol...saw this movie called Knocked Up, and I gotta say, it was absolutely hilarious. I'd recommend it highly.
im back no bedtime hah :)
Cs -- can you explain your "name"?
i want to go see that move cs
and the new one with robin williams/mandy moore
Diving in to find a few choice words whilst having my morning tea :)
Good morning afternoon evening babblers
hi, loredana
Hey No Cs!!! woopee Hello Jellen
at 135 words..need lickety lol :)
sure, jilli...i play a word game called Cascade (which is over at www.iwin.com). The name might make some assume that I founded/invented the game, but it's really just a name I use over there. I now use it in several word games I play; either the CCF name u see here or my original name from years back in cascade, which was SMOKEYG23.
Jellen Nice icon
hello all !
hi lynx
hi lore.. hu lynx
Thx, CCF! That was a political party here many years ago
hi, lynxxx
Pops up to greet lynxxx et al and dives back in
Hello Lynxxx
Hey FMitch
good morning to you FM
Hello Carra
oh...well, u don't have to worry about me and politics as i don't get involved with that stuff, lol
Nothing like a morning swim amongst so many vowels! Hi lore and no c's or k's
The CCF party was led at one time by Tommy Doulgas, the founder of Canada's universal health care system (cf Sicko) -- see http://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.com /index.cfm?PgNm=ArchivedFeatures&Param s=A258
Hello Super Sleuth Jilli lol
There's a stidfamily member in the grid
Hi Lore!
GM ALL
morning Iain
hi
hi, Iain
well, hello Iain -- long time no see
Hey Herin Good to see you
hi again, herin
Hi Iain - and Jilli!- and Infernal !
greetings lynxxx
Greatings lynxx
gm jillibus been busy still babbled but only popped in for short visits
morning all .... can i request a smaller grid please!
morning MVA
Hi, MVA
i guess i wouldn't mind being associated with that particular political aspect then, jilli, but no...my ccf name is rather insignificant compared to that, lol
gm mva
that would be just fine by me, MVA!
still trying to get this below 110 :(
Lain what a 44er on a weekend?
Hi MVA - go right ahead, dunno if Dr G will hear you though
*100 even
It's a holiday weekend here - Canada Day July 1
i've been meaning to ask...why do most people here have icons next to their names along with flags of countries (i assume that's where everyone is from here)? Just wondering why there isn't an icon or flag next to my name.
happy holiday jilli
r u a paid member cs?
I am educating the visiters
Happy Canada Day Jilli
CCF, you have to pay up and go pro to get the icon and flag etc. If you click on the icons you get a profile of the players -- many interesting people here.
You also get heaps more clues CS
thanks MVA
Hi Xanika
Xanika, CS/CCF doesn't seem to need clues!!!
Hello herin
hi xanika
Hi Xanika - good to see you again
hello xanika
Cs also its just a small price for a lifetime of torture I mean FUN yes fun :P
hi, Xanika
Hi all
oh ok...didn't see anything about paying on this site when i signed up...since i am not paying to play this game, am i on some kind of limited membership right now that will expire at some point preventing me from playing this game?
Are there any 'o' clues please?
No CsC - the only 'thing' you wil loose is the Tile & Word Stats after 2 weeks
No Cs it wont prevent you from playing. I was unmemebered for about a year before Jader organised for my membership
CCF, you get a 2 week trial period, after which you lose the tiles and the number of words and such, and you don't get to acquire an icon, profile, etc.
oa4/4 you row with these
yes onset begining with o
well, i suppose that will make this game more challenging for me then, in 2 weeks time, as the only thing i really rely on for help when i'm stuck are the tiles at the bottom, lol
i wondered why people are asking for the the word totals!! hello everyone :)
Thanks Jellen
ol4/4 cries at a bullfight
or4.4 metals / or4.4 o + kookabu** / ou5.12 old TV SciFi series The Ou*** Limits
oa5 -- places of water in a desert
or4/4 mined materials
hello Granny
hi maxx
ol 4/4 - rhymes with a famous cookie, ol 5/10 is the plural
hi, granny!
Ikeyat - that is an answer not a clue. In this game, we do not give the answers as it spoils the challenge for everyone
Thanks all, I am still asleep today I think!
Hi GrannyM
or5/10 -- a kind of window
9 words a minute isn't bad...l0l
is lickety asleep?
should be done in under 40 minutes at that rate then, granny, lol
Lickety is usually busy on Fridays
funny funny ccf! maybe 9 hours if i'm lucky!
Then it's snack time. Ice cream, anyone?
GrannyM - they may be travelling (?). MRP said they were going away for 2 weeks
oh no! i need lickety lol
brandyjacks list is up
Hi BR
oh boy jellen it's 3 a.m. here
Hey Babble
where is that list babble?
Hello, lynxxx
vanilla with chocolate sauce please jellen
Where do you find brandyjack's list?
you are not alone carra lol
hi br :)
It's always ice cream time, granny!:)
ive been doing good though almost half way :)
taos
All I have is vanilla chocolate chip.
the th 8/50 and 9/66 were probably the toughest ones in here, even though i think the bigger words are usually the easiest. They just look like weird words, but kind of easy once you get th 4/5 and ur 4/5
sorry
go to Babblers Anonymous and click on the first link
ty rosalind
Hope your day is just fine, grannymaxx
tx rosalind did not know that word existed
thanks CCF
Thanks, BabbleRabble.
br it's looking kinda long with 330 words or at least challenging
.
hiccup time just went by
Jilli you shouldnt ahve said that
why herin?
Likely to get a hicup now
Likely to get a hicup now
Likely to get a hicup now
See i told you :)

Yep silly pc
SInce when isn't a ute plural a car?
Exactly Xanika
hiccup here to jillibus
hello ursh
there's always a hiccup at this time
hi lore
everytime i hear someone say ute, i flash back to the scene between the judge and joe pesci in My Cousin Vinny (a hilarious movie if you've never seen it before)
was sprite on last night/morning?
I havent seen her Jill but i have been on odd times
I just wondered about her reaction to the 21 K words -- someone suggested she might have taken a look and run away
I started late yesterday Jilli and may have missed her...or maybe she saw the Ks and took off!
made the same comment last night jilli noone had seen her
I didn't see her either and can't remember a day when she has not been here.
Watching Th Wall Live in Berlin amazing production
Hope she's ok
ae 6/18 clue?
plural of ae5/10
mmm me to jilli, it is very unusual.
ae 5/10 and 6/18 is a bird's nest
omg 330? ill never finish
does anyone have the ar5 between the socks and teh rearend
oh was looking at something different hah but thanks for that clue
Oh I just realised LIckety and Mr Press are on Holidays
I'm getting so I don't care if I finish these biggies. I do have other things to do
nm goit it
Very healthy attitude jilli, wish I could say the same :)
Was that the FIRE one Knight?
I must be a masochist i like the big grids
Good clues, gang -- thanks

Here is the link DDB
YOu need all three lines
ar 4/6 and ar 5/14 (plural) - sounds like Robin Hood actor Flynn's first name
so much easier just to scroll down
Maybe i like the big grids as i get bored of listening to the boys play the playstation
could be, herin!
I want to go out to tea and i cant as we have guests :(
evening everyone :)

hey fmitch :)
Lily by role playing in this house i mean Dungeons and Dragons that sort of thing, at the moment its Mutants and Masterminds and D n D
greetings grannym how are you feeling today?
ah, i used to play d&d with my big brother when i was younger :) fun stuff
Still do here, we are a bunch of nerds :). Yes Granny how are you fairing today?
its the middle of the night here and i couldnt sleep...so here i am
feel good but just have too much on the brain at times :)
your in good company Granny
At least you know what ever time of day or night there will always be some babble buddies around :)
Oh Granny thats not good you should rest up
hehe, it's okay to be nerds! i'm more of a comic book, video game nerd than a rp nerd, but i feel sisterhood with nerds of all kinds :)
I second that FMitch
i know everyone is so supportive no matter what time i come on...its great to know that too!
I have a few comic books, JTHM, the crow. My b/f has about 800 roleplaying books
i always think nerds are the most interesting people, because they're always passionate about something... people who dont have that passion are boring!
Second that Lily and I second that Lore and Fmitch
Urgh the covers are on again at Wimbledon and the forecast is not good. Wonder if they will get any play today?
i'm just curious (as usual, lol), but what is the average age range that plays this game? (i ask this at mostly all word games i play or have played in)
Proper players (rather than troll types) Ages range from 14 to 80+
well my average age is 64 if that helps :)
10 to what ever, I dont know who our oldest players are
we do have a serious a very serious 10yr old
Clues are up!
aren't you going to include the 10 year old fmitch?
Thanks Lickety
tx lickety
hi lickety, certainly hope you enjoy your holiday!
TY Lickety
Oh you mean goldies? sorry forgut him
Lickety i found Lickety SPlit Biscuit recipe
ty, lickety
Holiday? What holiday? Oh the one where my family leaves me ? Well, not a holiday - I can actually go to work now.
i hate the A's ~ yuck
what do u mean by proper players, fm?
Owww did they leave you behind lickety?
Going to miss everyone greatly
lol Lickety! I thought that may have been the case
Oh, lickety, I could just cry...;)...have been stuck for such a long time...thank you so much...your clues will make it so I can get some sleep!
they leave tomorrow.
all by yourself? one can get a lot done that way!
((lickety)) CsCd I mean the ones that keep coming back game after game, rather than just playing once.
ddb4nana - your welcome! Sorry for delay - was out.
licketySplit Biscuits huh!
Oh well, it's good for us so we appreciate you!
There is a 10 year old that has a membership CC
i'm usually curious about the age ranges because in my experience, i've usually found that most people my age don't seem to be into word games, so the average age range i seem to encounter in word games is in the 40-65 range, with some younger and some older
Never mind Lickety imagine all the work you will get done so when they arrive home you be able to spend time with them and remember absence makes the heart grow fonder and we will look after you
How old are you CsCd and what gender?
Cs what range do you fall in :)
lore- yeah - I'll be ok - it'll be strange, and I'll be working hard and very tired I bet - but lots of other things I'll have a break from.
Herin should bake a batch and send them to you Lickety
i'm recently 26 (as of 2 weeks ago anyway, lol)...and i'm a guy
i know he's from PA/USA..hehe
lol granny
CsCde - it's a strange range here - from 10 to 75
Lore i dont know if they are tasty, flour mayo and milk
yuk is that all Herin
mayo in a cake is delish too herin
ohhh - I don't like Mayo
Herin maybe double dip in choc then and leave out the mayo lol
cscd, the only strange range here is lickety :))
... and with some of the stickier grids I have been known to age at least 15 years in one morning lol
or use catsup, mustard or sour cream
MrP Hi my lovely, good to see you.
lmao fmitch
i really just meant the average age range...i'd also have to say that in my personal experience, the gender ratio is usually 2:1 in favor of women, if not higher than that.
mrp? what the? Strange Range? - Me?
we use more words than men cscd - so they say
Stranger Ranger!!
LOL lynxx!
Is it? I bought an American book - Easy cooking with 5 ingredients has a recipe for Kahlua, bought it to get rid of the pesky packet products in my fridge/cupboard. The next 2 weeks have been labeled Apocalypse week - sounds more interesting than 'getting rid of the crap in the cupboards and fridge'
I don't know about that ursh considering the lenght of CdCs's postings but then men do go on sometimes :)
I range up the strangers? Well maybe I do - Lynxx - you go to the left queue please
Fmitch nice comment
I gotta get to kitchen duties now - Dinner time - have a fun grid.
I am the only one allowed to range you up stranger ranger
Thanks lickety
MrP lol
ooooh mrp!
she is my pussy cat ! (melon and all!)
aaaaah lickety
bye Lickety. and thanks again for your list - been especially useful this week with all these biggies
witty Mr lickety
must be love :o)
meooooow! pfttt pftt! hiss.... purr
lol fm...i do tend to be long winded, or so i've been told, when it comes to typing stuff...i wouldn't say i represent all men by that, but i do tend to go on and on about things just like i'm doing now by typing what i'm typing, lol
I could be selfish and say that I do this all for my bride, but not of you all - but that would be lying.
Not liking these G words
my hubby is like that ccf...when the last 10 minutes of my show is on and when i'm trying to figure out a clue in the chat...blast him!
CsCde - mrp just says - Whatever - you are rattling on again - when I go on like that ;-)
whatever !
oh it is love then!
ain't they sweet!
xxxx and oooo's all around!
oddly enough, i hate that friggin word in real life...can't stand when i'm talking to someone about something they don't want to address and they just come back with whatever (and yes, i'm expecting at least one of you to now say it, lol)
***hugs to you all*** smoochies all round!
BBL dinner is on (made by my sweetie!)
My poor love is still not home either
lucky lynx!
see you later lynxxx
Later lynxx
see ya lynxx
now i have to find those darn A words!
bye, lynxx

Granny i have no idea yesturday TRANK was a word
i know and all those K words too
ok...now I'm ready to make a complete idiot of myself for the sake of some sleep...can't find the he 4/5 that comes right after the person who gets the estate when someone dies...then assume that the he 5/12 is a plural of that...any clues for this lady with the fish at hand?
my sons fav word is here gn6/30
tranq is also an alt. spelling for trank (short for tranquilizer), just for a tidbit of useless info, lol
he 4/5 and he 5/12 (plural) - he + opposite of high - w
Dilema Harry poter or Dr who ???? which one
aaaawk....how could I miss those?
ty CCF
ty cscde...
Right im having a smoke im in a grump now
yw :)
that's just slang for a helicopter, if i remember correctly
STOP SMOKING herin or you'll be just like me in years to come!!!
this might seem out of the blue but has anyone heard what became of kthdsn. Last time I spoke with her she was moving to Canada.
Granny im an occasional smoker
sunny - she moved to Canada, is looking for work and is planning on getting married to TrickyRic, a fellow babbler.
ANd yes im naughty
SUnny what Haz said
i'm a full fledged smoker but i've paid the price for it already, lol
i used to laugh too CCF, not anymore, paying the price now
thats nice for her, thanks Haz.
hello haz, how are you?
Wow haz - that was quick - or had she known trickyRic before
Hello Haz
Morning Haz, no rain last night I hope, desserts looked great BTW :)
Granny i now the risks and yes its stupid but i cant cope with a few things at the moment - its either that or alchole
hi all!
Good morning/evening all. I'm well thanks. A bit grey outside today.
hi, Ata and Haz
been paying the price for nearly 6 years now...the only difference is that doctors don't know what's wrong...i don't think this is what life is supposed to be in your 20's, lol
Hello FMitch - no rain last night, we were fortunate!
Morning Ata!
hello ata :)
ok you two, don't say i didn't warn you!
morning all, gosh another biggie
Heelo Haz & Ata
Less then 24hrs and Britain goes smoke free, it will be interesting to see how it goes.
even in your own house fmitch?
it'll be *lovely*
We've had it in force here for a couple of months. Lots of people hanging around looking furtive....
hi Ata and FMitch, and also goodnight all. I have a chick flick and some peppermint chocolate with my name on it. Happy babbling :)
i understand, granny...but at this point, i can only handle so much stress and cigarettes happen to be my outlet/relief...it's the not knowing what's wrong with me that is stressful, not to mention going to the doctors/specialists/hospitals all the time and coming up empty...i'm sure smoking doesn't help matters, but it's how i halfway cope with the stress
bye sunny, enjoy both!
Sleep well, sunny.
Just had the most delicous vegetable casserole - sweet potato, eggplant, cous cous and a tough of Moroccan spices - too yummy for a winter night
LOL no grannym, not quite the big brother state. All public places, offices resutrants bars shopping malls etc etc Very high fines. Bye sunny
bye sunny and sleep tight
bye Sunny
bye sunny!
oh ok, it's the same here, but i don't think we have fines...
Oh that does sound good lynxxx
i do wish i could tell you some other way of coping with stress...
i have to wait another month or so before i can start going back to doctors and whatnot...i've kinda given up hope of a diagnosis at this point since i've already had a biopsy done and that didn't reveal much, so not sure what else can really be done here
If anyone could come up with a good idea for recycling ashtrays, thee will be millions going cheap!
I do Yoga for stress and this but you just cant off the people that irk you
I always find sewing a great stress reliever (now you know I've been kidnapped and held by aliens)
Oh and playing the playstation and talking to friends help
LOL I knew it wasn't you Haz, Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
Cue ee4/6 music....
lol haz, i used to smoke and sew, both at the same time!
playing word games is actually a good stress outlet for me, but i also happen to smoke a lot when i play them, so it only half helps, lol
I did too grannym!
I have to concentrate too hard on avoiding blood loss to think of doing anything else.
lol me too haz
Did you have that self-knotting thread as well, Ata?
i see your point haz...lol
ee 4/6 - st**** dan (think music); other ee 4/6 - idol host seacrest first name - an
oh yes. and that self-guided missile for a needle that heads straight to your finger tips
LOL you two :)
Even worse, nowadays if I have to thread a needle, it takes good light, glasses and the conviction that it will be worth it in the end. Never is...
Ata did you go to Hoobycraft on Thursday?
bbs going to watch rosies final appearance on the view they are replaying it
Hooby? you know what I mean
went to Hobbycraft too!
Bye loredana.
morning all...hey haz...what are all the goodies in your icon for?
too early to laugh so hard haz and fmitch and ata!!
bye lore
hello rolin :)
We are your therapy grannym.
Hello rolin - I was making desserts yesterday to take to a barbecue. It's a kind of proof of the pudding.
morning rolin
spent lots of money on sheets of card wooot!
a barbeque???...i always knew you were an optimist...
hi ren :)
but we want to do the eating Haz. Morning rolin
hello granny
hi, ren and rolin
oooh another big grid...cool..cos NOW IM NOT A TEACHER i will havw time to stick at getting finished
hello Jellen
rolin - it was actually okay weatherwise last night. This morning is a different matter!. Not much left of the desserts....
haz....you know that elongated cream covered *slurp*...one??..whats inside that?
ohhh yes, give us a proper description of them all!
It's gingernut biscuits, sandwiched together with whipped cream and crushed pineapple. That's fridged overnight, then covered with cream - the biscuits become nice and soft.
Is the top left the cinnamon pavolva?
*nodding*...the aussie version is to used a biscuit called a chocolate ripple...a slightly lighter consistency than the gingernut..cream them trogether with a hint of mint..
Okay, there's a ritztorte (meringue with chopped nuts and crushed ritz biscuits, topped with whipped cream - that's the top left.
Next to it is cinammon pavlova (pavlova with a hint of spice, topped with nectarines and raspberries)
Rolin - you have retired?
ritz biscuits and meringue???...now theres a combination i wouldnt have jumped to...
*droooooollll*
Ginger log is beside it, front left, banoffee pie, then mint cheesecake.
mint cheesecake looks *amazing*
no lynxxx...thats what teachers do in australia...lol...im actually changing professions at 52...scarey but true...im going to work for a group who works with mentally and physically disabled child and yound adults...ill be managing a centre for them
Fresh ffruit salad with a hint of raspberry balsamic vinegar, and finally lemon cheesecake at the back.
ooooh cheesecake! i have a chocolate one with cherries on top...love it
lemon cheesecake...mmmmmmmmmmmm
Atalante, I used crushed mint aero bars for decorating, it looks good and is easy!
oh wow *drool*
I can't take any more *faints*
Thats sounds really rewarding Rolin. Congratulations on making the change
p.s. ~ not looking at chatbox anymore...too delish :)
does any one realise ive gained 2 pounds by just having this conversation???...lol
Sugar overdose!
I love banoffee pie.
ty... i start monday...no rest...as they say
is this all just for us Haz - thanks !!!
yummy banoffee pie and lemon cheesecake, my tow favourite desserts, your really are making me hungry
I made another couple of pineapple trifle things, but decided not to take them - they've been frozen for another time.
Congrats and good luck rolin
thx mitch...*s*...im really looking fwd to it..
this seems to be a nice grid so far this morning
Best wishes for your new career, rolin.
hope everything works out ok for you in your new career Rolin
But rolin, how you'll miss marking.
thx jellen...i think the danger will be i will have the opportunity to keep babble on my laptop during the day...
huh...haz...sorry..??...tap tap tap...i think im getting some kind of garbled nonsense from the chat log....lol
It's the invasion of the body snatchers again - normal Haz would be too sensible to make that kind of remark.
LOL
well yeah...i was opting for the alien invasion idea
Next I'll be extolling the virtues of Paris, the heiress rather than the city. Proof positive.
Hello rolin nice to see you again
great watching the weather..... looks like another wash out for the weekend
thats madness rather than body snatching
hey loredana...*s*
clue for third er6.18?
Haz what have you been drinking?? The cooking sherry? lol
I think the the8 & 9 are the strangest words I have seen in the grid for a looong time. Needless to say they are from the world of chemistry.
haz...if that happens...would you understand if we leapt thru the screen and tried you down very tightly?
hello loredana
Ata you grab Haz'z left arm I'll take the right and rolin can put the straight jacket on.
hello ren!!
You would have my permission indeed. Husband would probably have given me a lethal injection before that could happen, though.
im with ya...
ready!
You'd have to get past a shorn though valiant spaniel.
lol rolin, we were both thinking along the same tack @Go, go go" It's for your own good Haz, sorry.
lol..*thinking*...considering he would actually have access to such a thing...must make for an interesting relationship
well I still dont see why Rosie left the View over a catfight with elisabeth or was it really over her request for a raise??
awwwww how is shorn-but-valiant-spaniel?
Not only that, there are firearms available - usually for shooting cattle, but hey, he's adaptable. I know my place.
The spaniel is shorn, and looking less than valiant, (snoring and valiant don't go together)
fab gn6/24 word
lol @ haz
LMAO maybe she;s having valiant dreams
hmm have gn6/30
It's possible. She's also smelling wonderful - that shampoo smells great.
GIRLS!! hi rolin and haz and ata!

hi mrp! hi granny! hi jellen! (hugs)
hi lore!
the 3rd I have is "journeying or traveling, as a medieval knight in quest of adventure; roving adventurously"
hello Fran
I just like the definition
hi ren!
Hi Fran. very late - have you been out and about?
hey loredana, ren8, granny, mr p, lynxxx, rolin
Do you suppose the knight had a valant spaniel at his heels?
hello lynxxx
grannym - er6/18 Knights of old used to rove around in search of adventure and were called knights er****
definition great, thanks!
lol Haz
my daughter got marked wrong in her english test for spelling traveling... instead of travelling...
Hi Ren
of course haz...lol
yes lynxxx, went to an event called BayFest on the Marine Corps base. It's part of the 4th of July festivities.
of course! but probably hiding behind his heels
Evening Fran
hi FM!
ata said a word!!
I thought the schools were better equipped to deal with alternate spellings especially as it is such an international culture these days with the internet
wouldnt be the first time LOL
thanks for the er ata!
Fran. Military bands and all? - love military bands!
or is it that you love the miltary lynxxx? Those uniforms and all lol
anything in uniform! sexy!
well no, they had a group from Canada tonight, tomorrow night is Gretchen Wilson and Sunday night is Alan Jackson.
stop it MRP - you'll get yourself all excited
but mrp...when is it alternative spelling..and when is it just wrong
lots of Marines along the way directing traffic though. :-)
saw both in concert fran, they're GREAT!!
rolin, I thought traveling was ok to use
FM no, just love the bands/music. Edinburgh tattoo is fabulous. and a bagpipe band - heaven
oh marines!! love marines!!
too bad granny, we can't go back tomorrow and Sunday! :-(
lynxxx - I've got tickets for Edinburgh tattoo this year, I'll let you know all about it.
sorry, you'll be missing a good show
yeah so would i... but things are getting so grey these days...the one that drives me mad is 'focus'..do you double the 's'? for -ed..-ing?
hax...have you been before?
and granny said a wooord! thanks granny! ;-)
*haz
I was at one years ago and enjoyed it very much - it'll be a first for husband and daughter.
lynxxx i can agree with you edinburgh tattoo wonderful i never miss it. Haz enjoy I know you will
haz, your icon looks scrumptious. *drool*
*nodding*...ive been once too...it was a terrific spectacle
oh, got started... Y's are greyed out! wohoo
Fran - we've sent some babblers into sugar overload this morning. I made the desserts yesterday for a party I was going to last night.
at least it was a REAL word!
i get the goosebumps watching it on tele and i was lucky enough many many moons ago we used to march to the bagpipes
so they ARE all desserts. yummm
Ooooh, ahhhh, pretty sparkly lights!! or is it the mother ship coming to retrieve Haz? Nope it's fireworks.
yay FM!!
Yay for FM
Oooh - congratulations FMitch!
Congrats, FMitch!

Covers are firmly on MrP and reporter on the BBC was saying doubtful.
Thank you.

ry4.6 Rolin
did you see the ducks on the court at wimbledon yesterday? too cute!
oh bugger!! was looking forward to more tennis tonight!
oooooh...fmitch...any clues for the se 7/29, 8/40 combo?
Hi ren, started early and didn't really chat until the worst was done.
ty lynxxx
31 gs??..oooh
i started at 9.25 and I have 85 words already
I didn't see sprite today? has she been around?
I have not seen her yet MRP
she's got a friend staying for the weekend
se7 & 8 - v hot chilli and pl. sounds like a special dry cured Italian ham
thanks ata many babblers asking after her including myself
ok, thanks :)
oh good - TY Ata for letting us know
Ah thans for the info Ata, was wondering re sprite
she is dearly missed ... such a lovely babbler!
*Ata's public information service*
thanks for the SEs FM!
ata's pis?
MrP you been drinking with Haz??? lol
I don't believe it, I was just going through the same though process MrP

And I'm as sober as a jug, jugd, ju......
lol
LOL haz!
hope you didnt get spangle tiddly as well makes me wonder seeing she is sleeping
No, Spangle signed the pledge when she was a pup.
fmitch...it's me again...just can't find any hot chili! would it be hellpful for me to know the third letter of these words?
*refresh for new funny pic*
she is a good baby girl
how cute ata!
I love the ears - looks like she's tuning into the mother ship.
oops...I already know the third letter...witch way do I go next? I am so lost and these are my last two words...
Oh that reminds me there was a bit on TV this week re a woman who does drink her own pe, snofts it too and claims it has cured her of alergies. The mind boggles sometimes. Sorry ddb we don't do 3rd letters but it is the same one as used by most of the other se's
wow shes beautiful!!!
ty anyway...I will get it eventually...
she's tuning into *something*!
oh yes, its meant to be very good for you ....
i have heard that people use their pee to relieve chillblains!!! true
Would it cure not being able to sew?
probably! doubt you'd even be able to see a needle after that
Would it cure Paris Hilton?
We could be onto something....
must be worth a go
Oh god don't say that lore, I have recently been diagnosed with chillblanes
it would chill my bl(r)ain too lore :)
haz, she's probably already done that
no but a good dose of apricot kernels or arsenic would
Tell me you just soak your feet in it rather than take internally BF thinks it's hysterical I have chillblanes in the summer.
hey Granny very clever now you have turned cryptic on us lol
yes FMitch
well you can get foot creams that contain ur**
ata you are being so correct
ewwwww
HAve Dr appt on Tues a.m will add to my list of things to disucss.
sorry lore, just don't know what it is??
I'll have to have a look at the contents of my foot cream.
ur** acts as a softener
From cream cakes to foot cream. Suddenly not feeling so hungry :)
could someone tell me the best way to find a word online when a clue is given such as "very hot chili"?
se 7 -- s + a mistake: ***or; and one way or ***ther; plural
but mitch...it does show the breadth of the babler's involvement in the world..
google ;)
google "scovill scale" nana, it should list hottest peppers
ddb4 - use www.morewords.com - type in the letters you know, leave dashes for the rest and work down the list given.
ddb...put it into google..and get the page able chilli types
*about
ty all...I'll try those ideas...
10 out of 10 for trying ddb, makes a nice change. A directional clue would be to go round anticlock wise
hey babrab!
ddb4, if that clue doesn't work ask me for another
I just clued the se 7 & 8 ddb
good clue BR, ty
Sorry that didn't come out quite right ddb
we don't do this stuff is rubbish
Yeah...and thanks all...it's fireworks for me...finally...now to bed! Happy babbling all!
Well done ddb.
night ddb!
congrats, ddb
Woohoo congrats
congrats ddb
wtg ddb4!!!
Congrats ddb!!
Congrats DDB

clue for the se-7-28 and 8-40 please???

se7 and 8 is a hot chilli
thanks guys! Excellent clues!! Had a mental block on the 4th letter!!
se 7 --- s + to make a mistake, to ***or; and liberace's instrument: pi***; plural

Hi Lesieann
i'm trying to extend that earth one for the te8, having trouble
hello pinkhat
hey Leslie
te + consonant + last ra5/10
No idea Feather sory
te8 = de***mine + last ra5/10
Good morning, all. Feather, Te+ double consonants+if you are going on a long trip, pack your suitc****
Howdy Scarlet have finished making preparations for 4th July familygathering?
Hi Scarlet
Almost, pinkhat... thank you for asking... I'm still on a rip to rearrange the house and get the gardens in tip-top shape... the slugs are feasting on my marigolds but otherwise, going well! Hi, lynxxx and all!
...or have i got the wrong person???
HEy Scarlet
Hey there, Lady! How's your weather now?
got it finally!
Yahoo!
goodnight everyone..time to sleep
Its raining again loving the sound of it on the tin roof
Nighty-night, lynxxx. Good to see you for three seconds! LOL
Night lynxx
and wow, i live out in the middle of nowhere, and just had some jehovah's witnesses come to the door. only time in the 4 years we've been here.
good night Lynxxx sleep well, see you tomorrow!!!
Is there any TU words please?
Feather they are persistent monkeys
You had a drought for how long, Lady?
10 years still catchments are low
No, Lady, no TU words
outie was not found in the dictionary! what's the opposite of an innie, then?
2 young girls, were very nice. only stayed a couple minutes, gave me the pamphlet and left.
they find you where ever you live feather there's no hiding lol
LOL, LeslieAnn!
no tu words herin
i'm usually the kind who cuts off telemarketers mid-word, but just couldn't bring myself to do it to these girls!
face-to-face is very different from over the phone
I just smile benignly, and tell them that I have my own inner light, feather... and they smile back and leave quickly...
yes, true.
Thanks
ok, gotta get back to the grind of cleaning.
lol scarlet
im the same i listen to what they have to say if there at my door, but if they were on the phone i'd probably treat them like tele-marketers
:-)
Scarlet catchments are still 30percent, some are at 17 some are empty
all the E's done now... gonna take a break... bbl
lol scarlet
bye hugabugs
bye hugas
Terrible... Lady, we are about 10 and a half inches below what the tables should read... lots of thunder and lightning, but no water!
I love lightening thunder makes me want to hide under the bed
im gonna follow featherbee and do my housework and shopping bye bye all and happy babbling
I once told a JW that I was a witch and practiced voodoo (totally don't even go together LOL) but they ran. I asked if they wanted to come in and discuss why my way of living is better.
Later Pink
I use "grey water" from household use, for the gardens, and schlep buckets to the sunflower gardens and the morning glories out of reach from the hose... I try to conserve as much as possible
LOLOL wurdy girl
bye pink
*poof*
"Bye feather and pinkhat
wurdy... do they leave quickly? LOL
I use the water the basement dehumidifyer produces
Wurdy i used to live in a unit opposite a big JW church they were nice and i wasnt allowed to be mean to them (the ex said to behave) Scarlet, using grey water is a big thing her. I had to let my garden at my old house die, it was sad
yes, they do. Now, I have in laws that are JW, so I can't have as much fun with them as I used to
I've even taken to plugging the bathtub when showering, to scoop out the used water to feed the gardens...
I always want to go over on prayer night or whatever they call it and bring a deck of cards and beer and interrupt their stuff just like they interrupt everyone elses, but hubby wont let me.
We do that here scarlet. Some homes have introduced the 'melllow yellow' toliet policy
your so naughty wurdygirl lol...i really am going now bye!
Lol wurdy i could so easily do that myself
you already poofed pnk!
Yes, here, too, Lady. Asheville is in fairly serious condition... if it rains, the ground is too hard to absorb it, and we will have flooding... it's one thing or the other.
it's a double poof, she's quite the magician
Poof2... a new Babbler designation!
Some pubs have put coloured ice in the urinals to cut down water use in the boys toilets
Just knock on their door just like they do mine on CHRISTMAS for crying out loud! and be like "hey, I see you are having a party, lets have some fun and talk over beer and euchre"
We do the mellow yellow too. People are always shocked at how low our water/sewer bill is. Sometimes people have bill thrice ours
Isn't ice water, though, Lady? I don't get that one...
or actually, probably not a very good magician, if she needed 2 poofs.
We conserve water, too, only flushing when necessary (or if people are coming over!), I capture wash water to flush kitty litter down (flushable corn-based litter).
nah, she just apperated back and left again
LOL, LeslieAnn. HI, Fiber...
oh, so we're getting more for our money?
exactly. And since it is free....
niiiiice
Ok Scarlet a smattering of Ice melts over the course of the night and the urinal cleans its self slowly, were as the standard system the water flows frequently, think leaky tap
Okay, I get it now, Lady. Gosh, the ladies in here have some excellent ideas for water conservation. Yours is a good one too, bichon. We don't run a dehumidifier, though...
ummm, what is that r that is under the s in the top corner? It has to be a ry right?
yup, ry + vowel + consonant, wurdy
wurdy, it's a scandanavian rug
bless you leslieann
thanks
Scarlet i think the toliets get cleaned anyway at the end of the night. Ok what really irks me the most is schools that have leaky taps and toilets, drives me batty. All schools should have rainwater tanks, duel flush bogs and non leaky taps
my phantom today is stools I have typed it in countless times already
Since I am the resident Finn, I salute Fiber knowing that word. *Bows to FA!"
any a clues please
Our basement is a living space [when kids lived at home] and we have furniture down there. It would be all mildewed if we didn't run one. We are very parsimonious. We compost every bit of vegetable matter.
a clue for a...it comes before b
sorry getting punchy
that's ok
it is good that you ag*** with me
I'm not "fiber art" for nothing, Scarlet!
or I wound get a bit an*** with you
We, too, have a compost bin that beloved built for me when I am pulling weeds, etc., using the broken, crushed eggshells, coffee grounds and veggie and fruit peels... it all goes in!~ LOL, Fiber!!
see, it is all part of wurdy's master clue plan
any ideas for the ar's?
on our recent trip, I found that many places have dual flush toilets. good idea
bichon, there's always one's rear end
ar**, like ar* you crazy then plural
What is that, Fiber?
Oh also Starbucks have free used grinds to put in composts. I think in AUstralia it is a law to have dual flush dunnys in house or something odd like that
"Little water" for number one, "big water" for number 2
fiber, thanks, that seems to be in the grid every day lately
Along with all sorts of other rude words!
Some houses have a half brick in the dunny if its a single flush it does the same thing
well, with the hundreds of words we've had lately it's easier for words to keep showing up
Excellent idea... never heard of it. We have the mellow yellow in effect now... and a gallon jug of chlorine bleach alongside for me to keep things sparkling.../
We used to put bricks in the tank, but now have low flush models
Yes, we used the two-brick system for years...
I don' t mind rude wrods, at least I know those lol
Hah, wurdy!
sad but true
I get a kick out of them. A recent puzzle had both di** and co**
We have our minds in the gutter kiddies
loved that one. They were my first words
I was so proud
Is "gutter" in the puzzle??
sorry herin!
and rightly so
Dagnabit... I have to go back to the housework... have a wonderful day, Babblers and to all, a good grid! Take care, be peaceful and love thy neighbor... wurdy... not you...you're too rambunctious... LOL
any clues for the on5 peeps?
i love the gutter as much as the next gal, but i don't like typing in cu**
What are the 8 words please
bye scarlet
It is super rude, but I soldier on
I just think of my nieghbor when that word comes in. leslieann
Bye Scarlet. I always like it when you are on.
later scarlet
Thanks, Fiber! :-) *Hugs to all*
the on*** of a disease, fish?

hi ren
hello ren
hi ren
hi ren
se + double consonant + first vowel + opposite of yes, bichon
hi Doxy, leslie, greenbay and herin
TY, Leslie
thanks Leslie, that's a new word for me
se + double consonant + 1st vowel + hump letter + 4th vowel, plural
i think on the hotness scale they are above jalapenos
you obviously don't live in the western US. they are pretty popular here
hello everyone -- quit at 180 last night :)
hi Cyber
hope that doesn't sound rude, didn't mean it to be.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scoville_ scale
Chilli info and yes you are right Leslie
oh no wait, i was wrong, they are much less hot than jalapenos
ah, right the first time. it's easy to be right if you say both things
still spicy though
No you are right the first time and im a wuss i hate hot spicy food, mild Korma is hot enough for me
HI cyber
regular pepper, as in salt and pepper, can sometimes be too hot for me.
what is Korma?
Ah, I hit 104 in 20 min---off to get ready for a tennis match--bye everyone, enjoy the day! I shall return tonite.
this house will never be clean all at the same time.
not with kids feather
nope
Korma is a mild coconut tasting curry
i had a very unfortunate accident with some jalapenos once, i cut them up to make salsa and a couple hours later my hands started burning, looked it up online and it said if your hands are burning, the oil's already in your skin, tough luck, wear gloves next time
mine became a disaster again after the grandbaby moved in
not to mention i really hate bending over anymore, so picking up toys has become a low priority
sounds good ren
Feather use your toes
i prefer tikka masala which is a bit spicier
lol herin. i have at times.
I've really come to like mango - peach salsa. not very spicy, but great with chicken or fish
mmm, mango smoothies.....sorry, free associating!
lol feather
clue for gy6 and 7 please
i'm being feather dusted at the moment by a maniacal boy
Doxy the paste i use is from Sharwoods.
In it: Water, Vegetable Oil, Concentrated Tomato Puree, Salt, Coriander, Sugar, Cumin, Gram Flour*, Onion Powder, Turmeric, Acetic Acid, Garlic Powder, Ground Ginger, Cayenne Pepper, Paprika, Spices, Mustard Seeds. *From Yellow Split Peas.
you just need to get him to do the furniture
well, how else are you supposed to get a featherbee clean?
now he's going to doctor me.

Hello ren, I'm back, slightly later than I had thought earlier.
my other half went out last night and got home at 5.00 this morning so he is having a nap, which means I can babble
must be blind haz --- missing something that comes between i and r!
Cybernan, look at how I greeted ren.
darn it, now I am finding some that I should have found earlier. erg....
ty haz -- looking in the wrong direction, as ususal
No problem, cybernan.
thanks, can't seem to find it, will come back to it later. thanks for the clues
I'm back, 33 to go and most of them are dreaded RE words :( i was hoping the rest would have done me good, but I'm still trying the same non-words. oops
Hello fishbulb.
hi Haz :D
oooh loving the look of the desserts in your profile pic!
It hasn't changed then? I was making desserts yesterday, but had changed the icon to one of Spangle, it mustn't have refreshed properly.
i can see desserts (however, I am quite hungry and can probably see desserts anyway)
They were for a friend's barbecue last night - I offered to provide some of the sugar fix.
hello fishbulb

I do about 3/4's and then find two numbers the same in the same row and finish up scribbling all over it!!
my grandson (age 28) has a T-shirt with sudoku written on it but one of those circles with a diagonal over it. I agree
I have now hit the RE words, ugh. They should be banned too

Hi Peri

Hi Bichon
hi ya lynxx
hello everyone!
hello Niamh
stuck on the ar - men's socks clue. any further help would be appreciated
th7.32 one of those legal compounds - build on the second th5.12
diamond patterned Sandie

Bichon - did you find it?
Any clues for se7/28 the first one please???

Norma, purportedly it's a chili pepper spice
ar 6
Bichon is this pepper sauce American ???
se7.28 it is a type of chili. has the first 4 letters of the second se7.28 + ***nymous means writer unknown
so is this a easy puzzle, an average or a difficult one? this is the first I've ever played
Hi Kat...it varies every day - the average length is 175 words so this one is a bit large...even with an easy grid there are always words that are hard to get...which is why the chat is v. helpful..all in all much fun but very addictive
kat, it's easy in that there are lots of letters in proximaty of each other which can make words, but there are a lot of words
ty lynx :) I blame a friend (ahem) for pointing this out...like I don't spend enough time on the web
Thnx lynxxx great clue - thnx for the help ;-))

ok, so you enjoyed the flea market.. nothing to feel guilty aabout. life is for enjoying, right? housework will always be there later
I have three cats, Dorens. Don't know what they'd do with a whole fish!
(this from a woman who is expecting her daughter and daughter's boyfriend for a visit at about 9:00 and has much to do before they come to this disaster zone.... clean, but messy)
also quite an array of dogs. tiniest mini pinscher nose to nose with huge black great dane - just like a picture card!
sounds like you want one, owl
i'd also enjoy a clue for ur6/21..
a bunny or a dog?
enzyme similar to the ur4/5
either? dog is probably more work tho
some women came up and told us that rabbit smell awful. the lady seeling them was none tooleased.

ar6/30 and Sutherland Highlanders. Plural for ar7/44
you're welcome!
eelie
oooh
frances: look at my flag, dear
however, does anyone know the origian and meany of the phrase "ecky thump"?
origin and meaning
TO, I know but I was fed up hearing about socks and the Highlanders are a very famous regiment.
i know it's the new white stripes album... :P
Sorry Frances. I don't know US regiments either.
well jack white says that's where he lifted the name, but changed it to "icky"
http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/i ndex?qid=20060607151955AAAONEN
TO 'ecky thump' An exclamation of surprise or shock. Often used to mock the Northern dialects of Lancashire and Yorkshire.
found that second he 6/21 if you want clue owl
ty frances, some people were betting jack white made it up....is it ecky like "heck"? yes ty doren
this is what I found: Ecky-Thump (pronounced ehk-ee thoooomp) is an ancient and traditional martial art originating from Lancaster, Lancashire in Northern England. Similar but superior to Kung Fu in many respects, it utilizes long, fierce-looking Black Puddings in place of more inferior Eastern weaponry. Practitioners of the martial art are easily distinguished through their ritualistic flat caps and accompanying whippets.
female possessive + last three letters of roman means of transportation
Hi all....please can I have a lue for the 3rd he4/5...?
no freakin' way....
ty, Dorens
Niamh, i saw that too...but it's from the uncyclopedia, so it isn't exactly true :P
soory that's the jeersey girl in me....i think someone is pulling your leg
probably not, and what is a fierce-looking Black Pudding any way?
he4/5 Tradition greeting - l
black pudding = blood sausage
The ecky thump business is a bit of a joke, in that it's an expression but it was made into a comedy routine by 'The Goodies' in the late 1970's.
it would scare the he** out of me, i can tell you
Sorry Jellen don't understand!

good night Flask, pleasant dreams
feather, sometimes i do that with regular words that start with re, and i'm thinking the "again" meaning
that's what i said, sprite
i doubt i'll remember those K words when they show up again.

i know LA, that corner is always a blind spot for me
I go crazy from seeing rehearses

going now heather
on my way to look at the pics
with you, Jac. Listless I mean, not as far as you are though
we had an airshow here this weekend, and i live 1-2 miles from the airport. first set is of the night show last night.
Keep going, sprite! It's a gr5/14 grid.
"rat cancer", hm common conversational words used in babble, eh? : ) does anyone else look stuff up as they go?
so far it is wonderful indeed, Jac, I am having lots of fun :)
we all do, woods. Learned tonnes of useless words that way!
is that where your tumor is the shape of a rat?
ur 6/7?
I did had to look up the 9 letter word incase i was ever asked:)
yeah, try using that in a conversation tomorrow, tim, see how it goes
aeiou, all in a row
lol
ak, hit**** and you, without the h
Ah, tim, so that's what it means! (Was going to look it up after.) Thanks!
evan, there's a word for that too?!?!
ur 7 is the ur 4 + ea 4
ur + at ****, soldier!
wouldn't it be funny if we had a grid with every letter in it?
same he4, totally new word to me. Won't remember it too, too many vowels th5, lol
we'd have to have all the letters minus one. hello hursh
Hi Hurshy
yw
hursh - funny ha ha or funny peculiar?
thanks knit
no we could have them all cause Q has U on it (peculiar)
i am trying to redeem myself
i didn't get the ga6 clue with attic. any others?
hey hurshy *hug*
oh hursh you are so smart
Hi, AK. Have you been embarrassing yourself again? *grins*
see the pics? huh huh huh?
*hugs for sprite*
oh jac that goes without saying
consider yourself totally redeemed, aknitter :)
i must say, it's rather awkward being the scarlet woman at a wedding.
and anyone else who wants to see night airshow and daniel at lake pics is welcome
LA - you might not get the 'ga' clue, but I did! Thanks, whoever gave it!
scarlet woman? that sounds fun, what does it mean?
one more word would put me halfway:)
got the word for margarine tim? ol4/4
okay, back from looking at pics
Thanks for those 2, feather.:-)
ty feather
yeah:(
pregster, specially like the pic where i get to see you too!
Fish me now. Could I have a clue to the th4/5 before the th8/50?
isn't she cute nutty?
hi there all good evening the sl8?
th + two different vowels, jellen
yup, that's me! i like it cause i don't look too huge. combo of the suit, the color, and the angle
it means i left my husband, which is... not real approved of in my family
just drop all the ot5 letters from the 8, Jellen :)
scared the poo outta me...he he he.
drop the last four letter from the 8
jellen, th+ **n (charged particle)
jellen do you have the 8? it is the first 4
kidding! she makes a great cute pregnant glow girl!
hey!!! lol
was it a wedding in your family or his hursh?
hursh... so you did it after all? Good for you. How are you coping?
yeah, the glow was sweat. we had a very fun day that day though.
ty Fran, sprite :p
sprite? SPRITE!!!! (what are you doing on this time of day? -- Hi all!
Just found the wombs. (ut5)
hi hursh! you must have come in while i was looking at pics.
hey stid!
Hi Stid
it was my cousin's wedding. i'm coping fine mostly.
hey stid! *hugs* Stealing sleeping time to play babble and see my babble buddies, of course! Am having a good friend over for the weekend, having too much of a good time to play ;)
stidmama - Hi! Your pic looks like your were arrested! LOL
hurshy, if it's any consolation... you look good in scarlet... ;-)
eh, to me scarlet means you cheated with/on somebody. your family can get over a divorce
hursh - ((HUGS))
random freebie: ro5/14: r + sounds like word for swear or curse or promise, with different second vowel. then plural.
yes, I called it my "mug shot" when I posted it! LOL
hi, stid
stid? stid! whatchoo doing on here so early?
next weekend is my sister's wedding.
gn 6/24? not gn**** barkley
well leslie, i did cheat on him - only they do not know that part.
Thanks for those 2, feather.
I have a migraine so sent the kids and Tom off to the picnic our friends are having without me...
oh well they can do without knowing that part.
((((((stid))))))) sending dark shades and a soda
stid - I kinda guessed that. LOL
*flips out picnic cloth*
LeslieAnn...speaking of scarlet...did you know that Leslie Anne Warren played Miss Scarlet in the movie "Clue"?
yes, i should think so.
welome jac
migraines suck big time. *hugs stid very gently*
{{{hurshy}}} it's none of th5 business... *emphatic protective nod of the head*
*lays out bottles of sparkling water and migrain meds*
LA - knobbly old trees (and knees!) are gn6/30, or full of gn6/24.
thanks all, I knew you would understand.
i'm sort of named after her, monkey... not like my parents wanted me to follow in her footsteps, they just liked the name. and clue is one of my favorite movies of all time.
oh, nutty's preparing a migraine feast! make sure it's under a very dark shady tree though.
stid...get in bed, turn off the lights and cover your head with a pillow. the computer light will exacerbate it
hursh, hope your family will respect you and your decisions. I wish you all happiness possible, and fast :)
leslieanne...i worked on it!
sl8 please
i was the director's assistant on it. what a small world
*looks up a sweeping weeping willow*
yes, VERY dark and shady. I have turned the monitor down, and wearing my shades MonkeyMind... thanks for the concern.
but even if they didn't know, *i* knew, and i feel terrible listening to the vows...
you worked on it? that is the coolest thing i've ever heard
i had that gn 6/24, thanks, i am looking for the last one, after the annoying bug
*giggle* i love listening to daniel's play talk when he's in the tub.
eh...not so cool or glamorous. it's kind of the staple out here in l.a.
but it was fun for sure
such a wacky group of people around all the time!
stid...i get migraines, too. i get that aura first, and take an imitrex immediately
stidmatt used to say, "dub dub dub whoosh!" when playing with fishies... [translate: glub glub glub splash!]
g + plural of sniffer
do you work on movies for a job, monkey, or just something you did on the side?
hursh - I know what you mean about listening to the vows. After my hubby left me I couldn't go to a wedding for ages for fear of loudly saying, 'HA!' (in a bitter sort of way). I guess the boot on the other foot feels just as bad...
I usually get an aura, too. This one had no warning. Hit me hard and fast and I lay down for two hours.
ah thanks jellen
hursh, not that I know you very well of course, but th5 are several kinds of cheating and being untrue to your vows. You cannot have been happy with your husband if you have decided to cheat on him. The5 must have been pain and emptiness in your relation before... and your husband was responsible for that as well.
he's saying choo choo, playing with his tub thomas i think. other random noises too. oh, yesterday, for the better part of the day, he was "george" and i was the man in the yellow hat!
leslie, i used to work in production. now i cast commercials
did a bit of acting, too. like all los angelenos. :)
too cute, feather!
oooh anything we might have seen?
ok, he's done i think. might bbl!
well i didn't DECIDE to cheat on him, it just HAPPENED.
sprite's right, hursh. There must be a problem of some kind for the severance to take place.
he5/16, last?
re 6/21 and re 7/32, i'm assuming combo?
I grayed the S in the top corner all by myself!
later feather
bye Feather
i know but i'm still rather reprehensible.
Yay, Stid
yeah Stid
rhymes with the boat and the wine, jellen
later heather!
hursh - stop beating yourself up!
i think no such thing, hursh
and human, hurshy. No crime th5. *hugs*
ty, LA
i'm not beating myself up, i'm just not beating around the bushes :)
LOL, hursh. Okay.
sorry, i got dragged into the kitchen to get a snack for my daughter
hurshy -- I "played the field" for a long time before I found the right man. Occasionally there is a twinge of guilt... but the truth is, when I found my Tom, I knew he was right. I suspect, because you married so young, you didn't have a chance to do that... and I think it's not logical to expect those vows to be "one size fits all."
*Now has mental image of Franmag being dragged along by her hair by daughter.*
*sniffing air and looking around for PB&J that Fran brought me*
what on earth can the righthand U be??????
I am with Jac on this, you are being very hard on yourself. Take responsibility, but keep in mind that you have to be responsible for yourself in the first place. Being human is no crime, and having a non-working relationship is a matter of both partners, not of one.
that's basically it jac, she's very insistent!
oh i know.
mine's getting bigger hursh.
(sneaks back out again)
hursh - it's wombs.
well, it's not the name of arthur pendragon's father...
stid - I tried that, too. LOL
good question hurshy
thanks for tht Jac!
nope, that's what i tried first stid
y/w, stid.

no woods, can be both
more of the of the 5/10 cross between snow and ice
ohhhh ok
well I think that was true, LA -- but not knowing which part of your name you generally emphasize...
you're so excited you CAN'T control the volume of YOUR voice

jellen, it's a small window, but it sounds like a bird
down to 80
ty, hurshy and Fran
thanks Fran
woods, I usually preface a clue with the starting letters so folks recognize my clues from my random muttering...
Hursh - thanks! You just gave me 4 words with the 'o' clue.
yw bichon
go sprite go!
I am almost up to100
go sprite!! go jac!!
it is 2.07 am he4 and I so need to go to bed... but I won't LOL

I ag5, hurshy!
Jac, that is so tough, you have more than I! ;)

re4/6 after the relifting of your shoes
more hail like, stid
True, hursh. That makes a change! *grins*
thanks sprite *thinking*
hshliz, isn't nice we can re** on clues from
think of a kind of rain/hail, stid. And then more so.
to re** on someone.

stid, it's really twisty, don't try to figure out how it's th5!!
Sorry, meant 'true, sprite....etc.'
LOL Jac
thanks guys...getting blind in my blondeness here...lol
ooooh... *remembers wedding favors in her bag!!!*
ooh, i love when the wedding favors are edible.
Just been into the kitchen to make myself a drink. It still smells like a Greek taverna in there. I made Lamb Kleftiko (Robber's Lamb) earlier. Delicious.
mmmm. sounds lovely, Jacula
yum jac
wedding favors? Little goodbye gifts?
awwww Jac *grabs towel to keep from drooling on keyboard*
yes sprite.
thanks Fran! Learning something new every day he4.
sort of sprite, little tokens of the bride's appreciation for your presence (and presents)
stid & Fran - it was! Easy to make, too.
hi babblers!
ping!
thanks stid!
hi PIng
hi ping!!
hi ping!
I made blueberry creme brulee to follow. *grins*
hi, Ping!
i love the name jac, Kleftiko
Not that's just taunting, Jac!
mmmm. *drool cascades off keyboard*
Hi, Ping.
I picked fresh raspberries earlier today...
ha, got to the halfway point at last. BTW, TY for the clues, youall 8-) (diving into lickety list)
now you're just torturing us jac!
*holds out bowl of lovely red berries to share*
Jellen - would I taunt??
Jac has a wicked sense of humour... why do you think I love her so much!
I think so, Jac.
oh stid, they are just gr5!
thanks for the word sprite! :-)
Thanks, stid. My raspberries aren't ruiting yet. The tayberry and strawberries are though. The white and blackcurrants are also just ripening.
mmm raspberries
hi stid, fran, jac, spring, and jellen!
i only have 323 to go!
yw stid!
go, Ping!
tayberry? like a blackberry? *runs off to check plant ID*
go ping!
go ping go!
*fruiting, I meant.
stid - the tayberry is more like a raspberry.
nice shirt, stid!
does anyone have a clue for sl6 27
is it a fishy theme today?
hmm, maybe a boysenberry stid.
yep. It looks better than the pic shows... was at the end of a long day when stidkid took the photo
yes ping
oh -- okay Jacula
what's that berry in the northwest?
timhorton: rhymes with go fast, make haste!
tip: don't EVER shave your legs dry
timhorton, it's a thick mixture for cooking, rhymes with what little puppies and kittens are
ouchie hurshy....
lol
ouch hursh!
ick hursh
hursh - Oh no! You didn't... did you?
messy? puddle magnets? cute?
couple days ago, yeah...
stid, covered with fu*
hm. thanks fran *thinking*
oh! I have that one! LOL
i think sprite's clue was better (scroll down)
lol, now I see you clue the same word as I did, Fran... thought it was for another word, such a different clue :D
maybe it's time to hit hte list
ty fran
ga 6 please
yw ping!
A boysenberry is more like a blackberry. A tayberry is different again.
attic room, buttonman
button, a small attic
Button - the top of the house room artists are said to starve in.
Ha. that ga6 is the name of the man where the picnic is!
I think r's are becoming my least favorite letter.
ooooh, my favorite kind of socks are in the grid!
there is another tart berry in the northwest, stid
encarta says cross between a blackberry and a raspberry
ty hurshy!
which word is that, hursh?
Fran - what was that sl6/27 again?
there are lots of berries in the pac NW ping -- is there yet another?
re5/10 after depend upon
ar6/7 combo, sprite.
rhymes with make haste, go fast, Jac
sl 6/27 is the mix that concrete is before it's poured...
clue, please?
thanks hursh
stid - I bought a redcurrant and a cranberry bush today.
ping - marionberry or ollaieberry? loganberry, boysenberry?
sl6/27, thick mixture in cooking, rhymes with "go fast" or what puppies and kittens are.
hello all!! Need some help here too!
walked fast again, Jellen
hi helenary
hi helen!
I don't have a cranberry yet... *envious look at Jacula's yard*
hi helenary!
ty, sprite
you are half in the grid today, hele****
hi, helen
*Dashes out to patio to get as yet unplanted cranberry bush in where she can keep an eye on it.*
why can't we just say, "he was drunk, so his speech was sl6/27"?
Hi, helenary.
gosh, u folks are amazing.
too rude, hursh?
lol
lol sprite
great clue hursh
woods, do you have berries in your yard too? I have blue, rasp, black (native trailing and himalayan), thimbleberry, salmonberry and strawberries (alpine and other)
Oh! I've just realised from the hursh clue for sl6 that I've already got it! LOL. I was thinking of it as what farmers spread on their fields. (Manure in liquid form.)
i was stuck on it being a noun
freebie from me: the thing you speak, eat and kiss with, plus plural... only change first letter into R.'
ga 7 please
back for a few
thanks sprite! that's a weird one
wb feather
button, something used to choke someone, change last vowel of the attic room and add another vowel.
thanks spritey
manure in liquid form. mmmmm.....
yw :)
thank you, sprite!
spoken like a gardner, Jac!
we have 17 acres, much in blackberries. not on purpose mind you. but we do have a logan, a thornless boysen on purpose. :) just found a wild Bing cherry tree today. (in OR, USA) Ollie's are N. CA
we call it "tea" in these parts feather... *wicked grin*
somebody be my willpower and kick me out if i'm still here in 10 minutes! i need to work on the crib.
they drove me bananas, monkeyed and even opened a2z ;)
stid - It took me some time to realise that what you in the USA call a 'yard' is what most other folks call a 'garden'. A 'yard' here in UK is either a measurement of 3ft. or a concereted area for utility or haulage purposes. The hardstanding outside your back door, if 'poshed up', is a patio here. LOL.
oh! how much fun it would be to have the sort of land, woods. We have one acre, and I am planting it as full of fruiting things as I can.
but we like your company, feather!
ty, sprite
marionberry - that's what i was trying to remember
a garden is what's planted with things...if my 4 acre yard was a garden, i'd be in trouble!
hey feather
okay heather, but i won't kick, i'll gently nudge.
true Jac -- AND feather! I can barely keep up with the half acre that is currently under cultivation.
sorry got distracted!! Help plese with he4/5 and he5/12 just after the prince william one.
marion berry - was that a mayor of new york, or an olympic runner...?
if my 4 square foot yard were a garden, i'd be in trouble
ok, a slight push out the door would help!
so in 10 minutes, everybody get real boring, ok?
feather, it's easy to do... either you get the crib put together, or the baby sleeps with you until it's in high school....
lol hursh
stid -i can't wait to plant some peaches and we just "found" some grapevine starts. whee!
Hi everyone,
rofl hurshy, you remember the most amazing things... but I think he was Washington DC
hi lbd!
hey lbd!!
lol stid! well, actually, daniel slept with us till almost a year, so it's not a rush other than wanting the room "done"
hi dawg
Hey Dawg!!
hey dawg!
hi dawg
hi, lbd
any u clues
oh woods, I hope you have better luck with your peaches, I will have to cut down another this year, the peach leaf curl just is too persistent, despite spraying (other than that, I have an organic garden)
greenbay, plural "womb"
okay, who ticked dr_g off to have all these monster grids?
think pee, greenbayladi
really stid? i thought i was making it up :)
any potty training tips out there? he knows what to do, and where to do it, and is doing well as long as he's bare bottomed, but we tried underwear today and he thinks it's just another diaper. i'm assuming just time and talking will help?
I hear that feather, our kids slept with us too, but it was nice to have a safe "landing zone" when I just had to use the ladies room...
In 10 mins time, girls (and any chaps here) shall we start telling feather our gruesome-est (?) birthing stories? *grins wickedly* That should see her off!
i am particualarly dense but thanx for the clues anyhow i have the type of brain where it will kick in later
std- i have to try! can't buy any good ones in the store. we're organic too
bribery worked for us
see what I mean about that wicked sense of humour? LOL Jac ;)
hee, nah, nothing can scare me jac! i went natural!
re potty training
M&M's worked for my daughter.
our younger kid was not interested in training until he saw scooby doo underwear. I told him he couldn't have it unless he kept it dry. So he did. Day AND night!
you will do fine, timhorton, just give it time.
common sense for my son
of course we used thomas tank train as the bribes - i wouldn't recommend them any longer
feather - join the club! LOL
daniel doesn't seem to care about the undies....unless they're dora! WHY do the creators think only girls like dora? stupid pink lace....
ri 4/4, first, clue please?
clue please for the se 7/28. Thaks
cut the lace off feather...
lol heather!
Not so serene a pepper.
Jellen: ri + be good or **se!
jellen, anagram of irritate (ri4/4)
Re potty training - neither our son nor our daughter was banned from the bathroom when either of us 'went'. They got the idea of what to do fairly fast.
let him wet the undies and make him leave 'em on. i should think that would teach him quick enough.
and pearl would love cars underwear if they made it for girls
hi everyone...tee hee about the undies...I love a freespirit!
we're doing a sticker chart, every 10 stickers, a present...that's helped with him going to use it on his own. and an immediate hershey kiss if he poops on the potty, which he has yet to do. he waits till i put on a pull up for naptime, then does it when he wakes up.
helen, a really hot pepper, sounds like mr. de bergerac with the big nose
ty, Fran. Brain not working today.
he's young enough. My boys wore any colors they liked... and it was okay with us. They were happy, we were happy
Feather, I am NOT going to wear Dora undies...even if you cut off the lace!
i wouldn't care...don't know about doug though
okay, got a respeckable number, taking a break. BBL, mebbe. *crunch!*
aww, come on dan!!!
lol
hi kristin! how are you feeling? did you see the pics of feather with daniel at the lake?
Leaving wet (or worse) undies/nappies on them for a while also underlines the lesson. It's nice and warm when you first 'do it'... but not for long!
later gwen!
later gwen
hello everyone!
And I didn't get a hershey kiss, either
Hi mrp!
like marriage, Jac? ;)
el presidente!!!
We're going to overnight babysit or our 6 m.o. g'daughter next Saturday night. Any suggestions. She's not a good sleeper
oh, thanks for bragging about the pics for me stid!

{{{mrp}}} was wondering if you were about!
hey mrP! *hug*
hello mrp!

yw helen!
my kids didn't sleep through the night until they were quite a bit older. Unless the baby is really upset, perhaps just let her be wakeful but alone?

hi kris
*grins*
hello there ping :)
i think bichon has to return the baby in good condition! :-)
hi kristin!
Re the wakeful baby - do check and make sure th5/12 no problems but don't entertain whilst doing so. Be as boring as you can.
LOL, Fran.
true... better not then ;)
Hi everyong
okay, I need to rest my eyes, too. I am up to 147 words, and very very happy to have seen all your "smiling faces"
Hi lickety!
hey lickety!
the best advice I have gotten for my not willing to sleep son was the same as Jac just said: be boring
hello fran...glad to see you about more often
hi lickety!!
hi lickety
hi lickety
daniel loved yesterday's video! made me watch it several times!
hiya split!!!
hi, lickety
bye stid and hello to lickety
later stid, hope the head gets better
i must have been reaaally boring, both my babies slept through the night at 6 weeks. :-(
repeat the exact same sequence until she gets bored. I.e. go in, make her lie down, say good night, go out.
later stiddy
daniel didn't sleep through till he started night weaning
thanks feather -- hope your crib gets put together... want to see a picture of it "in situ" tomorrow!
you were having such a peaceful atmosphere around you, Fran. Never boring!
bye stid
uh oh, pressure! (good!)
take care, stid
i think it's time to kick heather out
later stid, get well so4!
waahhhhhh
Fran - Well, we didn't like to say. ROFLOL. (Only kidding!)
bye stid!
'Bye stid. Hi, lickety.
pearl slept through the night after she started walking
*gently nudges feather towards the door*
i like that explanation sprite! (sticks tongue out at jac!)
do i hear a crib kit calling?
ok, ok! i'll go, but i'll be back to report on progress if i need a break!
Okay Fran - how do we bore Heather away?
hey lickety! *hugs*
it is a deal, feather!
ROFL jac! you're incorrigible.
slot A into tab B,
*poof*
Damn! Can't lunge at Fran's stuck-out tongue with a sharp object as Heather will stay to watch.
darn... need sleep but only have 32 left now.
go sprite go!
yes, that would be too exciting jac. (sticks tongue out again)
go sprite go!
nah, I am afraid I am gonna stay, dawg... until I have them all ;)
do you have all the biggies sprite?
way too exciting
got the u clue .. ty all
Watch it, Fran. I watched the DVD of 'Hannibal Rising' earlier and I empathised with him!
2x8 and 1x7 left, Fran
cool greenbay
argh Jac... very much abuse in that movie, isn't th5?
lol sprite, i'm glad you will stay. Stay Sprite Stay...or should that be finish sprite finish
sprite - Yes, but I understand Hannibal's need for revenge.
what are the top right S word hints?
*grins* ei6 will do, dawg! Glad I can stay for a while!
ga8, re8, se8, sl8, te8, th8
raymon, think freezing rain

last 2. sh 6/21 after what a horse does when frightened pls?.
kristin, common occurence here.
bye, Fran!
bye fran
have fun everyone! *poof*
Do you know, not being a mathematical type person, I still can't work out how the rankings work? How fast a time you do the grid in doesn't seem to figure. But how is it that when I go away on holiday and don't play for a week or 2 weeks, my placing can go UP? Yet, if I stay here and play every small and massive grid every bl**dy day, I can ei6/21 go up or down???
bye fran
bye fran
'Bye, Fran.
rmcc, where the hobbits live plural
not finishing a grid is bad. worse than not doing it. because it only counts grids where you enter a word.
Fran - I was only joking about the boring!xxxx
hursh - I very rarely don't finish a grid.
have that, ibd, must be the sh6/21 after that, pls
does it have to do with how many players th5 are that day?
nope, I agree jac...sometimes I can do a grid each day for weeks and nothing changes and then one day, it is totally different...sometimes up, sometimes down
kristinc - not just me then! Glad to hear it.
it bugs me so I just stopped checking
rmcc, drop the last vowel and add another hook with plural ending
hey
lbd - maybe. Dunno.
thanks for the clue dawg
ibd, i'm confused. have that as well
rmcc, do you have the plural of the degree of bashfullness?
sh5/12 after bed linen?
is there another sh6/21 between those?
rmcc - Excuse me for asking, blurred vision from antibiotics... what word are you looking for?
jellen, not he + the **d grey mare she aint what she used to be
ty, lbd
okay, dinner calls. Will be back...feel better Jac!
thanks, dawg
'Bye kristinc. Will try to.
bye, kristin
i'm looking for sh6/21. in the vicinty of what a horse does when frightened.have where hobbits live, and gathering stitch
there's a bad word in this puzzle
how bad, green?
lol
what does the 9 start with?
sh***T
in order, sh6.21's another name for scissors, sh+ 3rd vowel + ** Cid plural; More than one in degree of bashfullness; place where hobbits live; sh+ 3rd vowel + double hook + snake
sh4/5, I would guess.
th9.66 Hursh
yes
ty dawg - i needed several of those
so, a combo then?
brb
thank-you, thank-you, ibd. that was it. as usual i was trying to go the wrong way. and that is it. i'm done!!!
th8 a 9 are related to the th4.5 in that they have the first four letters the same
th8, Hursh = th + personal pronoun + 'belonging to us' + the 2 vowels that begin the phrase' **ch and every one' The 9 is the plural.
whoooooo hooooooo RMCC
congrats, rmcc!!
It's a cancer that rats get, someone said earlier.
i clued a lot last night, is it ok for me to go out to play now?
it sounds unpleasant
bye, rmcc
thanks jac
I must've got the wrong word for the rat cancer - what I just looked up for the th 8 & 9 told me it is a compound used in photocopying etc.
y/w, hursh.
see you all after the flip, hugs and prayers to all the sickies.
Jacula, maybe it causes cancer in rats.
'Bye rmcc.
bichon - maybe so. Don't know.
really, what is the point of fireworks tonight???? people are so silly.
hursh???
people are celebrating "july 4th weekend"
even though we all get july 4th off from work
we over-celebrate.
Ah! You mean fireworks outside your home not on Babble? Was confoooosed for a moment.
oh, yes, lol, i forgot
3 days to go yet!
four! it's not tomorrow yet for us :)

*pokes jellen in the bum* walk
the best 4t of July I ever had was when visiting my daughter on the Air Force Base where she lives - 2/3 of the enlisted (including my son in law) were deployed at the time. It was very meaningful and moving
ping!
Are we docked?
good for you mama
whoooo hooooo HLIZ
how are you tonight, pam?
Jeff, i think that may be one of the reasons i've never liked fireworks. besides being noisy
Hi Pam
hi, lbd
why is Jellen walking the plank?
I'm not sure.
because i'm bored
my dog just shivers, shakes, and quakes when it thunders or when there are fireworks...
i like your honest, nut
ahhh, bored pirate, not a good sign
honesty
my little buddy would curl up next to me and pull down a coverlet over himself. the big dog would crawl into my lap and whine and shiver.
poor dogs...
grant you, my big dog was 90 pounds of doberman chicken! lol
be back in a bit
do cats react this way to thunder and fireworks?
no, dawg, they just hide
LOL, LBD! My cat is impervious to them, it seems..
She is on the couch next to me ignoring tonight's neighborhood firecracker

LOL

today's theme is babblefish
*offers jac finger massage*
what's that?
feather is just a sadist. LOL.
what's what? tiramisu or babblefish?
;)
tiramasu is an Italian coffee & booze dessert.
ae 6,18 ??
babblefish
plural eagle's nest
kiss, plural where the eagles live
feather, I have no idea what babblefish is.
oh ok! brb then with ice cream
It's actually babelfish, I think. From the Douglas Adams series, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Babelfish is the Altavista translation site. Babblefish is a word that's come into net dictionaries via mistyping of Babelfish.
and a babblefish is a word that you miss that's easy :)
lol
Jellen - Yes, and Hitchhiker's, too.
well, since rennie is the one who suggested it...i'll go with hursh's def
i'm tired. can i have a clue for the re6/7 combo before re4 "count on"?
hursh - I thought that was a Babblet? However. the fish end seems better, since you get them thrown at yuor for missing easy plurals and words like the Babblet et4 for needlecase.
babblets are like et4
It's a little fish you put in your ear that instantly translates all languages into your native tongue.
hursh re+ bottom of your feet or shoes
babblefish are... well, any normal word that you happen to miss, lol
that can't be it dawg, that's later. and i need a 6/21...
lol, got it! i knew about fishy words here, just wondered if there was some other definition i was missing out on
re5/10 after re + chair?
hursh, re+ the bottom of your foot the achilles part
Jellen - sounds like a good idea to me - it might stop wars happening. There again, knowing how men want to start them and then women want to continu them once some family is killed.... I guess not.:-((
Jellen re+ visual
oh, lol, thanks!
ty, lbd.
lbd - please don't talk about the Achilles tendon! Reminds me of a scene from 'Hannibal Rising' which I watched earlier.

yay dan and enomis!
wow congrats
Yay, Enomis!
yeah i got it RIGHT after i entered that :/
Talking of 'licking' feather, my Other Half managed to embarrass myself, the male check-out guy and the female packer by him earlier. As I was about to pay for my goods, I saw him get out the Cadbury's chocolate eclair (toffee chews) he'd picked up n another shop earlier. 'That's cruel!' I said (thinking of the pain I've had for past month with bad molar and then post-extraction). 'You know I like those! That's nasty of you to have one!' He popped the toffee casually into his mouth and then said, 'Well, you know the answer... just SUCK IT!'
sounds like what one does on ebay to get rid of things
se=not buys without one of the double cons
We did not know where to put ourselves! He's a rogue but I love him! LOL.

We do here in UK, lbd.
wrinkles r us! lol
wrinkles? no that's part of the fabric's texture lol
No one here has ever just 'chucked everything into a tumble drier'. Far too concerned with the cost to ourselves (mostly) and to our 'make do and mend' philosophy if we are of an age to have been brought up by parents who were part of WWII.
lol Muse! my kind of thinking
Us lot in UK have been 'green' much longer than it has been fashionable. LOL.
It's just the way we are.

It was that way here also Jacula before the advent of hi-rises

gy 6/30 is gy plus ra 4/4 cwwizard and plural for gy7
waltz, probably cause it's not recognized by Enable as a word
Ping, th4.5 + u4.5
plural the 6/18 above it again
mkl, plural the pluraled earth
for the te8, that is
thx
te8 make the 6/18 plural
I'm confused, I thought that was the Enable list! Is there a progrm that goes with the list?
thanks dawg! so much!
don't have it yet.
hello all, back for my final 51...jac finally succumbed I see, poor lady!
waltz, the words are all there in the enable dictionary, even the ones from lickety's resources. it's probably just not what you think it should be.
if you are finding other words than what is listed in Lickety, then ei6 Enable says not a word, or you are not using the adjacent letters
may i have some ehlp please? first re6/7 combo? ty!
TO re + achille's trouble spot then plural
wb kris

I don't have any idea....
th4.5 is th+ * heart chocolate + another vowel

Waltzing, I think the broken down by number list comes from A to Z words, not Enable, and they are not as complete.
th +borrow money and write an *** to the lender + ***d a book
If you go to Likcety's web site, on the top right-hand side there are links to see list of words broken down by length. The last list is the full Enable list
Jellen - that would make sense....Trouble is, there are words that the program (behind the grid) does not think are valid words that are in the Enable list!
the other ones are from A2Z and are there for help only
thanks, muse!!!!!
waltz, that's the program for the grid at work. otherwise there would be a bajilllion word grid! *faint*

humm
I see your apostrophe is an è (which I can do via a special Alt + 0232)
That would be the problem - switch to US English....
i did same thing but maybe i need to restart
Not so, waltzing -- Englsih Canada is still English, not French
Probably (after all, Windows is NOT there to help you:))
:)
jilibus - true:) Didn't think it wasn't! Of course, I'm a Brit living in the US (too!), so I'm messed up with language....
i am looged into her compuer as a guest
OK, I admit defeat - bedtime:) Good night ladies....
wltz -- I'm an ex-Brit too and Canadian English is a mixture -- we honour, not honor, and suchlike but use a lot of US spellings too -- I tend to go Brit when in doubt
night and thanks for trying
tim -- I wouodn't mess with her settings -- come back again!
jilibus - My family swear I moved here because it made my spelling "more right":) Not that that is saying much!
oh i was saying night to waltz

well done mandy -- see you tomorrow
g'night, mandy
what is the nine letter word?
definition please!!!
wtg mandy!
since someone told woods to go to lickitys today the clues made sense after that
the 9 letter word is a CRYSTALIZED COMPUOND PLURALIZED
a colorless, crystalline, bitter-tasting, water-soluble solid, CH4N2S, derived from ur** by replacement of the oxygen with sulfur: used chiefly in photography, inorganic synthesis, and to accelerate the vulcanization of rubber. Plural
sorry about the caps
thanks for clearing that up, Jellen!
it's a compound word comprised of th 4/5 and ur 5/12...it appears to sound like a cross between one of thuxtable kids and actress perlman from cheers
Definitions sometimes don't help much.
