well, i guess it's a good grid for being awake at 2:40am
and somehow jilli, i think this will take me longer than a half hour to finish, contrary to popular belief an hour ago, lol
lol CC, you can have an extra 1/2 hr if needed
lol CCF!
yeah, no five minutes this time CC!

oh good lord Dee, I hadn't even thought of that
jilli, is there any way to keep Lickety Add permanent? everytime I move the curser anywhere else, I lose it
phantom: precedent
flosey, is that a new thing? try closing and restarting the babble expert
Hello everbody..hows todays puzzle doing?
flosey - just restart babbleexpert - that should fix it
it's always been this way
lol orn... I always think about the re words lol
best, it's 535 words
hey lickety
flosey - what version you on?

Night kierlEX

Hey - I like a good ribbing ;-) Bring it on (as I run away)

Thanks everyone
or to let lickety add catch up, whichever it is.
im going to go back in now - 138 found more needed to find plus ipods need sorting
yeah, it was entering too slow so I stopped using lickety add for now
sp8 and 9
there's a ke5 which usually has un in front of it
Lickety did say that the list may be a bit slow
it enters them, i'm just going ahead without waiting for confirmation and stopping every dozen or so words to let it catch up
drop the t off that ke5, too
You can adjust Lickety Add speed, too
doesn't help jellen, it's slow after that step
yep, i know, ty
s
I'm slow, so it doesn't matter. :-)
thanks everyone
Clue for the ke5?
thanks everyone
long hiccup tonight

I always miss de 5/12... dumb word I think de + another word for large ugly mouse
is my chat goofy or is everyone quiet now?
i think everyone is submerged in the grid volley..
With a grid this size I think we're all searching for words Volley.
I think everyone is busy hunting
makes sense...
I hate N words
Well, with an early start and utilisation of all resources and a great deal of pig headedness I am done. Swoons onto nearest sofa.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you hate n words & I hate re words lol

Well done FMitch.

hello frances
We can look after the rest of you now we are done and keep you fed and watered.
Good Morning evryone nearly fell of my chair ,and would like to know if this has been the biggest grid ever????
morning Yvo
Hi loredana. I have to give up on licketys on big grids. Everyword takes about five minutes to enter.
FM - maybe you can help me. in the TA's there are 4 x 4/5 in the 1st five words. I can't see 2 of those 4/5 words (unless my whoe order is mixed up). Any clue?
Yes it is Yvo
bye all -- must run to take care of grandchildren. Have fun
Bye ARB
Bye ARB.
bye ARB
bye ARB
Are there 27 TA words?
Lat ta4/5 is a t*** measure
Dianne I've got 24 ta but for some reason the whole of my word list is not displaying.
Got that one FM
There's a ta4/5 - short form of covering (temp) for building work.
3rd ta4/5 think not a frog but a t*** minus the 1st vowel
Sorry thats the 1st ta4/5
oh good - half way - coffee - BBS
Oooo Haz asaid a worrrrd
So I did. The shame of it......
hard not to today
Bound to happen with a big grid :) Woohoo HAz is not perfect ;)
this grid is definitely a fi 6/30 LOL
lol volly
But when you find a word you can say a4/5 and think how much you a5/12 playing the game.
no word list?
LOL sooooo true
So, apart from FMitch, has anyone else found any 9s yet?
What do you mean rualrose?
am new here, think i must pay now for a list, thanks for listening
I have 4 nines so far
Ah have you lost the tile and word stats? They are only thee for 2 weeks as a non pro
is ok my list is always only the ones i find anyway
ruralrose - you maybe mean the tile stats?
do you want the nines (the stats)?
so volley, clues for your 9s plz
usually it says how many words at to be found, i can do without the stats cause they were greek to me, but how many words i puzzle?
Is the t/740 the new alternative to a nip and tuck surgery?
535 words, ruralrose.
thanks doll
pr 9... person who does pr 7/32
didn't need to know that, was better when i thought there was only 100, lol
sp 9 is past tense of sp 8/50
LOL rural
There is a pr9/78 too
tr 9 x 2 ... one is the logo used for a product; and the other is a person who works at a particular vocation
ty fm
a literal translation could be "before doctors"
thanks volley
yw & ty fm
ohh ty fm and volley I finally have some 9's
found that one right away fm; good clue
yw
Thanks FMitch. Great clue.
oh goody, love it when a clue works :)
Morning Babblers, this grid is a monster one!
you are so fast fm... I still have 117 left
316 in the morning here in Utah is Utah...is this for real? Never saw so many before!
could I get a clue for the last me6 plz??
You said it Nono. Good morning.
another clue for the sp9 plz
OOOps, Utah is actually in USA...better go back to bed!
lbl
or is tha bbl :)
phantom president
nute
teen
You mean Lincoln, pinkhat.....lol
definition for sp 8 (then use past tense for 9) - evolve so as to lead to a new species or develop in a way most suited to the environment
ty volley
yw
now I know this is going to be a trying day. penalty-box first, then to bed = sorry all!
Frances, me6/24 = me4/5 + another name (short) for Dad
have the pr9/78, clue for the other pr9 plz
ty fm
Didn't know I asked for a clue FMitch.
Umm you didn't, instead of phantom words I am seeing phantom clue requests!
pr 9/60 (related to pr 7/32) the person who gives a prepared "report" for a group (such as businessmen)
LOL!
it was me who asked for the clue fm! lol don't worry big grid has worn you out
ty fm needed that one, too
Oh thanks j-m at least someone asked so I am not totally loosing the plot!! BTW 35 mins till water time.
jakes-mum - half hour warning - well, 35 minutes anyway.
ohh no!! why oh why did I agree to another pregnancy!!!! it cant be that close! i'm not even dressed!
OMG! How many words!!!!!
ty volley
You could always set a new fashion - dressing down for hospital.
sorry, I mean 'hello'
yw lol at jakes mom, but soooo understand.... go in your jammies and stay calm !!
do you think they'd let me in with just a bathrobe on?
You think you've got problems Liz? jakes-mum has to drink three gallons of water as well as find 535 words.
it would stop them geting gel all over my clothes though
WEll it is a very stylish robe j-m, you could set a new trend.
LOL Gotta scan then J-m?
They might think you were wanting to check in, though.
yes (looks dejected) and it's not ever far enough along for them totell me what the sex is
aww I hope all goes well. I loved having scans for my two, but they couldn't tell me the sex for 100% either time
and I think fm and haz are taking way to much pleasure in my forthcoming suffering
It's the sex that got you to this point.
I was a dork and never asked to find out the sex... probably different for a second child (only able to have one)
lol haz
lol
Volley said a wooooord.
ohhhhhh shoot throw me the fish... soooo sorry
what can I say? it was offered! lol
That's me out of the penalty box, anyway.
LOL Haz, was just typing the same thing!! Setting up Handel's Water Music to play full volume for j-m.
well, good luck anyway J-M, Will be thinking of you
I could put up an ic4/5 of Niagra Falls?
the worst thing is I am now trying to hold off going to the loo so I can go bang on 11 oclock to have the best chance of gting there without being desperate
one of my favorite places ... (love the Canadian side best)
Good idea Haz, I have Sasha Distel as back up with "Raindrops keep falling on my head" although this was overused at Wimbledon.
How about 'Eye cover the water front'
How about Gene Kelly singing and dancing in the rain? Or even Eric and Ernie's version?
Takes self off to penalty box
Song from My Fair Lady ' The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain'
I reiterate, to much pleasure in my suffering if you keep on I wont tell any of you what the baby is when I find out in 6 weeks
yay I am out of box ty fm!!
Okay, we'll try to be se6/21 now.
I didn't have that word haz TY lol
se 5/12 also relates to jmum
Don't worry, jakes-mum - I have to have a sm5/12 test tomorrow!
I must admit that is just as bad and you don't have the nice bit of seeing a baby to look forward to (one of the upsides of pregnancy no sm5's until after)
It'll be okay, just not what you look forward to!
and on that note, I had better go and do some work (sorry to swear), will be lurking on and off. Happy and extended babbling!
bye fm enjoy your day
bye FM
Bye FMitch - congratulations once again and hope you are as productive in work (rinsing out my mouth)!
Bye FMitch enjoy your day
ohh you've distracted me so much I have managed to find over 300 words now YAY!

Oh j-m why don't you make hubby drink the same amount of water as you and then prod him around, just so that he can enjoy the whole experience more *evil grin*

G'd morning to ya' green.
I did *tell* you yesterday that it would be the biggest grid ever today!
you jinxed us ata lol
i just don't have time... grids around the 200 mark... are ok..i can justinfy spending THAT much time..but these...no can do
that's right Atlante, you predicted this yesterday. ***looks in reverence at Atlante's psychic prowess***
no, I knew it would be
Don't ruin it! Pretend 'yer psychic at least..... :)
LOL ok ;)
but I thought you all at least deseved a warning l(
Charge is $5.99 a minute! LOL
i had a sneaky feeling yesterday it would be a biggie
Well, it may take me until last guns fired, but I'll tackle this one.
I was feeling really productive having 320 words, till I realised I have 215 to go
I only have 509 to go!
too late... I found words
*whimpering*
looool
tooooo many me's *sigh*
***The force is strong in this one***
Is anyone using Lickety's beta test, finding a delay?
Hello all, back from necessary duties.
hi Haz
its a huge delay with big grids lori
its cus his program has a scan through at first before sending to babble...
so as not to overload babble
G'd mornign Haz. Okay carlee, so there's nno point in retsrating then.
so..it runs through his list first...
I'm not yet Lori, but since you came on having issues! - not that I think its you or anything - just using Babble direct
nope..i don't use lickety add on anything over 250 words...
Thanks carlee. Are you done Haz?
Typical - husband is home an hour early - could he be looking for lunch?
I "send words to clues" periodically
I'll try your advice then, and ditch Lickety add.
No, Lori, not finished, I'm being sabotaged.
Direct the hub to yonder can opener, explain to him the dimensions of this grid......
I could, couldn't I?
even men can manage to make bread and butter
LOL I would. The hub knows babble is integral to my sanity.
Back shortly..
***not that my sanity is open to debate here.....*** :)
He needs the computer. I feel like quoting Victor Meldrew.
Back later.
See ya' shortly Haz.
oh wow... only 494 words to go
468 left. 'Yer right carlee, faster without Lickety add
morning. so glad i was awake last night and have only ..."only".... 251 left
Yowsa, this is the biggest grid I have EVER seen. Good morning everyone.

LOL carlee

u weren't pab ( son not ready to go yet...)
it's true, pabtrek.
oh my, guess i better get to it :)
Afternoon, all. I'm just going to write the total in capitals to make sure I see it correctly... FIVE HUNDRED AND THIRTY FIVE WORDS TOTAL.
Yes, it still says 535.
hi Jac
yeap....u got it jac..welcome to hell
Oh, well... only 207 left to find.
:) Jacula.
There should be bonus points for those who finish. Or a room at the asylum :)
I'll jump if I get 1/2 way
hi jac, inge2, pabtrek
i'm assuming this is the biggest grid ever
LOL, Inge.
pab - Yes, I think it is.
i think it is pab
morning pink.
must remember to add an "s" or "ed" to just about every word
Why isn't taser a word?
we think it's a brand name, Lori
Inge - 'er' is a useful ending for this grid, too.
true, Jac!
Ahh. Silly. ***gone goggly-eyed already***
with enable, whether or not a group of letters make a word is trivial technicality
OMG 535 words1 This is the mother of all grids!
It makes up for yesterdays mini one
oh geez.... good morning everyone
good morning Mom
Hello EJ and Mom
hello everyone
it the mother of all grids
hi Mom and Annie

14 8 letter words
thanks Annie. I wonder if I will even make halfway and still have a life :)

Morning Inge2

I am still in shock. I wish we had had this grid yesterday, I could have lingered with it all day.
*congrats
pink, did you finish this grid already?
pink sa4 her MEs were done, not that she was done.
but you might not have gotten the housework finished, Scrabbler
Maybe I will print this one and work on it all week.
oh, I misunderstood her
Aha, thanks sprite, well pink, I wish you a good finish in advance
no unfortunately still here with 309 to hunt
go get 'em, Pinkhat
*you gotta laugh*
Oh .....my...... god. There are 38 re's, and I have 3. ***pours a vodka in to coffee***
lol Lori -- pass it around
MOm, I didn't finish the housework, but I crossed some items off of my list. I was shaken up after a mountain biking wipe-out---I hit mud, the bike stopped and I went flying over the handlebars. I hit my right side--head, shoulder, thigh, leg. Some blodd, but mostly scared at how badly I could have been hurt.
lori, leave the bottle on the table please
LOLOL Lori....herin sai you'd flip when you see the r's
Scrabbler, My God, that is scary...
***Lets the vodka flow freely to all who are so inclined***
argh Scrabbler! *hugs very very carefully* Hope the shock will settle soon.
Oh, Lil, I reviewed your comment--you said "me's done" and I thought you meant the grid.
Wait until ExWren sees this grid!
Glad you're okay scrabbler. Been tehre, done that. Hope you're not too sore today. :(
{{Scrabbler}}, I'm sorry you were hurt but glad you weren't seriously hurt
omg Jac, she'll go bananas

*dives back into grid*
G'd morning sprite, Mom, and all i missed whilst wrestling with this mega grid
that is what I thought you me*** you had finished
oh Scrabbler - so glad you didn't come off worse than that !
*Hands Scrabbler arnica for bruises*
I am so sore all over today. I have to remind myself that I am 47 and not a young stuntwoman.
Afternoon all..I have been working on this grid since 7 am ..over 6 hours..and have got FIREWORKS !!
it is a shame you can't stay home and rest up
***Hands Scrabbler a vodka, to ease the stiffness***
hi Lori

***follows Lori to penalty box to monitor for signs of alcohol intoxication**

*puts another bottle of vodka and tequila on the table* ----feel free to help yoursef
*yourself
LOL Annie
Againts my better judgement, I am tackling the re's. ***Fortifies stamina with a triple*** I will not surface until they're done, or people post re clues freely, whichever comes first....
go get 'em Lori
How many re's are there? Lori is scaring me
Lori, go get em!
Only 38.......
Only???? LOL
Go go Lori! You can do it!! (That reminds me of a bumper sticker I saw yesterday. Instead of the Nike motto, JUST DO IT, this one was "DON'T DO IT"
i think the clues page is struggling with the amount of words in grid
where does everyone get their icon from?
don't forget the re-words that do not relate to again ;)
google images mainly
Now greenbay's sa4 a word. LOL
My ic4 is me on my last holiday.

okay, te + ****ing spaces is a home reno show
thanks Lori, I didn't have that.
sure Sprite, I can try to help
5 variants of that, in total

Does that help Flask?
got all 5, thanks Lori
np. Glad to help.
Lori is the last varient in that set of te 5 words a Te 4?

good morning.... it's not often i begin with 118 words in ten minutes. then again, it's not often that 118 words leave 417 to find. what is this monster?????
hey EvaN :)
sprite, *****l illness is often caused by a chemical imbalance
morning eva
*smiles at appropriate clue from BabbleRabble*
its hell dorens...we have entered hell
*notices todays word count and faints*
actually I am having fun, no hell in sight here
yes. and why???? One more day that I don't accomplish the things I really need to do! but will feel immense satisfaction at some point, i'm sure
I don't think I have ever found over 300 words without looking hard and with so little clues. I like this grid :)
I do see your point sprite... little effort and no clues yet and doing fairly well!
Morning again Babblers. I'm back to try and finish this huge grid
go, nono
hi Nanette
i'm just hoping to get 1/2 way today
over 200 words, so far, without list or clues, this is a fun grid, so far
yay Annie :)
yes, annie, but I think so far is the operative term here! at some point, it may(just may)become frustrating
when the grid is this huge I dont use the list because the only way is to print it out and I would have a book on my desk
is this the largest grid ever?
the largest one I have seen, nono
i only go to the grid after i'm half done.. and i can't imagine ever getting there at this point. (nono, it's the largest I can remember.... remember 444 as the largest to this point that I've done)
Hi all, my icon gives a clue for some MEs. I'm off for a rest just now!!
thnx Liz
If you refresh, that is...oops.
dorens, hi, do you mean list? I am easily confused
back from looooong lovely dog walk

sweet dreams, mrp
**smoochies & cuddles all round** thanks!
ok..i just got the funniest joke..anyone want a break for aminute?
always in for a joke
its a bit long..but cute..made me laugh
Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with those expensive double-pane energy-efficient kind. Yesterday, I got a call from the contractor who installed them. He was complaining that the windows had been installed a whole year ago and I hadn't paid for them yet. Hellloooo? Now just because I'm blonde doesn't mean that I am automatically stupid. So I told him just exactly what his fast- talking sales guy had told ME last year... namely, that in just ONE YEAR these windows would pay for themselves! "Helllooooo"? (I told him). "It's been a year" There was only silence at the other end of the line, so I finally just hung up.... He hasn't called back, probably too embarrassed about forgetting the guarantee they made me. Bet he won't underestimate a blonde anymore. Now That's Efficient!
bring it on carlee
( if there are grid words....NOT MY FAULT)
LOL carleek
LOL
funny, carlee
I thought so too
OH MY GOD...i JUSt saw the list of re's....and I haven't found 1 of them
* WHIMPER* *CRY* *MOAN IN AGONY*
carlee, there is vodka left.....
R words done so are S words so an that note good night people
oof! This is the biggest grid I have ever seen
I might consider it at 10 am
sweet dreams, herin
night lady
hi taku
hi Takuma
lol, carlee
night i have 112 left to find
think i have a couple of re's but didnt want to face reality of how many just yet:)
hi sato
Hi guys. yikes - I've been playing here for years, and I've *never* seen a grid like this
u might like to remain that way until u done everything else nono
Remember that some where in the word its after midday so perfectly acceptable to drink in hte am
oh... I have greyed out the bottom n...woohoo..first greys out letter
lol - there are 172 words in the 2nd column alone
only taku would take the time to figure that out... a bit of procrasintation taku?
procrastination *
lol ck - nah, just practicing my addition
my first greyed-out letter was the K *cheers self*
havent got ANY of the k's yet!
you are now the K Queen!
lol, the Kueen :)
hi, all. this grid is a monster, but I love large ones, so it's a treat!
hi Angel
me too, angel
unfortunately, I have an important kickball game to get ready for, shortly
taking out purple crayon and covering up the re's
Back, for a bit. I foolishly answered the phone, and got called in to work. 190 words elft.
must be off for a while, see you all later
lol, carlee
ciao annie
bfn Annie
Later Annie
byebye annie
300 left, arrrggghhhhhhh! later
I've got two cans of red bull and a pint of leftover curry -- I feel prepared to tackle this one
yummmm..curry
left over curry is the best
i have ley lime pine, rice pudding, butter tarts, creamsicles and banana popsicles...
it definitely seems to improve with age
pie* rather
Holy freeegin crap! Fee Fi Fo Fum! This grid is gigantic!
Is it a little hot up there, ck?
has anyone completed the S's yet....??...lol
almost, Flask
just started the s's
but not tough, Judi, relax :)
really??...well done girl!
same here (just started them)
oh...about a high of 95F with humidity making us think is 105 F ....
and I don't have a/c
that explains all the *sicles ;)
( and the kids in the house )
It's about 92F in my kitchen, so I'm out on the hammock
basement here..with fan blowing
it's cold in San Francisco
yikes - there are more 'S' words off this one tile than there were in the entire grid yesterday
what's the temp like, bichon?
I remember when I lived by Sac, it'd be 100+ there, but we'd need jackets if we were heading to the bay area
it's 54 at 7:23
high of 75. Glad I'm here on vacation
woooot, found a compound 9 all by myself :)
I imagine it's still foggy, eh?
wow, sprite -- you're on a roll: first you gray the 'K' then you get a 9?
holy crap there are a lot of words today
i'm guessing over 300?
*yawn* cant believe i have 212 words already, and im not even halfway done!
535
535, Stevie
good grief
Sprite, what's the starting letter for the 9?
ineresting
your guess was correct
not bad hey, Takuma :) And lots of words in between!
the compound 9 I just found starts T
thanks!
the only tile i have no words for would be the lonely single E on the right -- any hints?
535???!!!!! My vocab isn't that extensive to hold that many d#@* words. oy
so there are 2 Tr9 words, both compounds.
this grid is like the ad that sought students to learn Chinese in 10,000 easy lessons.
lol smaller
They Say the average person only uses about 300 different words a day
so this is going to be a challenge for those of us who are average...
300? oh i'm going to cry. maybe i should buy some adult diapers b/c clearly there will be no time to break for bathroom time
noone is average
anyone have a clue for um 5,18
EvaN... I should have, because I have all Es, but I have trouble figuring out which one comes from that E, lol
I think it is the Ea5, having things to listen with
eva: it is the adjective form of a body part
i bet, sprite! there are tons of Es today!
right E is having the things on the side of your head
good for thoose who knowe this language
ty sprite
well-read books are dog-ea5
um5 is what the ref (referee) did at the game
ahh,t hanks -- fish me for that one!
remind me not to lend Takuma any books :)
au, think of it as a delightfully tortuous way to learn the language
lol sprite!
no fishing allowed today, EvaN... this is one grid where you don't see words for looking :)
lol
how about um4,7
well, at least i have a minimum of one word per tile, now! hehe
short for another word for referees
many refs
green -- UM4 = refs in baseball
before one can be said to have um6, it must be the case that one um4
wow..... 4 tiles greys..more then 1/2 way now...
ty
i have 3 gray tiles, but one of them started out gray already...heh
same here, eva
heh, eva -- I am still tempted to call you 'Evan'
Completion of this grid makes one far from me 8/55
the more words I find, the slower this thing becomes... I have to wait a few seconds for each word to register :(
hi
still with 40 words
is this the largest ever?
nice, Lori -- that gives me something new to work on
ok, down to 154 left but only 20 of those are 4 letter words!
we think it is hurshy
biggest I've ever seen, hursh
ok...closing chat..and truly diving in...
good thing i'm sick then
yup hurshy
hursh, I seem to remember one that was close to or a little over 600, but I could be mistaken
I have 125 left to go, and want to be under 100 before I leave for work.
someone is testing us to see of we can finish lol
lori p -- thanks for the clue!
and I was playing back when we played via letters, like correspondence chess
morning all. sprite, someone right after flip said the same thing. herinfernallady, i think it was.
Takuma!
a very fortuitous fever i have
hey red!
this is a great grid for a fever, hursh ;)
hi jesdraggon
all these words, and no 'ramen'
takuma, add first 2 letters of your name to that and stop complaining ;)
thanks sprite!
wow. thanks -- sorry for almost giving one away
or drop the first letter and ditto ;)
could someone clue the sp9 pls?
Afternoon all
howdy j-m
sp9: evolved so as to lead to a new kind/breed or developed in a way most suited to the environment
WTF? 535 Words?
hi jakes-mum
tell me a long word in it. I don't have :( as I am baaad in language
got it thx sprite
some were clued just yet, au
wow... hadn't scrolled to see how many words yet. yikes.
woot Grace
ok. i'm off to work. luck in the grid all.
ciao jes
bye jesdraggon
jakes-mum how did the scan go
i don't see
is that sp9 a compound?
no Takuma, a verb past tense
{{{{{{SPRITE}}}}}}
good morning all!
STID! love your pic!
hey stid! *hugssss*
cool icon stid
thanks - hopefully I overcome this word-blindness soon ;)
aūūūū Ä…Äęėįšųūžžžž
yayyyy for the ic4 stid :)
Thanks Atalante, a dear friend made it for me ;-) S
G'morning Stid!
I am going to be home ALL DAY today Sprite and am determined to do some painting... LOL
really? how clever of them! :)
that sp9 is not a common word, Takuma, don't feel bad. It starts like a pair of glasses :) The 8 ends in had for dinner.
g'morning stid
wow -- temp just dropped by about 5 degF and it started raining, with the sun still out to the east
RIEMANN!!!!!!!! how are YOU? how did the interview go? Are you employed again? By whom? (inquiring minds want to know)
you will, Stid, you will... I just know it ;)
your icon is fantastic. Ata did a very nice job on it
it starts like The Origin of Sp*****
thanks again, sprite (and ata). I'll get it soon
hi Stid!
I really liked the school. I'm waiting for the phone call to know whether the feeling's mutual.
Ooh. got the 9 -- it means, Takuma, to make distinctions between species...
owwwwww stid, you almost give it away!
Yes, and if you go to her deviantart pages you can find both prototypes and all the other cards she made that are similar.
got it -- hrm, should have known that one, and I used to use it all the time in my work
oh oh, sorry sprite *readjusts thinking cap*
well, I hope you get it -- will you turn down the other offer if this one doesn't decide in time?
someone explain to me how me5/14, already a latin plural, then GETS another latin plural!!!
*grins at stid* my Atalanta card is just as pretty... it has a place of honour among my birthdaycards :)
lol hursh
my thoughts exactly, hursh!!
because dear hurshy, enable is DIS and plurals stymie lots of people
Enable is inscrutable
The school in IN knows they need to make a decision today and call me so I can answer the school in NC. We even talked about WHEN I would call NC.
birthday? Did I miss something? (are you OLD yet?)
because the first plural can also be a singular with another meaning
I have been old for years, stid, lol. Turned 41 yesterday.
Very good. will keep fingers crossed. And, since the car is at the shop, unless I am off to pick it up this evening, I will be here ALL DAY waiting to get a phone call to know where to send the next batch of jam!
clue for the PR7/52 plz?
Well happy birthday, little sister! (I am, you know, more than a month older than you). :-)
I promise to call you tonight with news, Stid.
:) a Lion to my Lobster ;)
my head feels so funny
its the size of the grid
take care hursh, if you are not well, bed might be a good place for you...
why husrhy? are you ill?
yes i have a sore throat and fever
there is a huge lag in the chat and word entry...
I'm working on that one, j-m. don't have it just yet
I think hursh was running a fever
oh oh hurshy *chicken soup and tea on the way*
is ok I found it
the fever is not too high but it made me have the oddest dreams.
I think it is because of the size, stid, same here
want to share Jakes-mum? I have 479 words yet to find...
its before the big stone stid
yeah -- I have two other pr7s, but not that one
same here, takuma
takin ga break with 134 to go...
Takuma: it is before a stone
now 3 others, still not that one
huh - weird one. thanks sprite
wow grace -- you're doing well
hi all
hi CsCde
hm. thinking about stones...
is it feed a cold, starve a fever, or the other way round?
Okay, this is good for my self es 6/21. 99 words left to go, and I am off to work.
thanks, sprite!
thats right, hurshy
hi CsC
Good luck everyone, see ya' later!
thanks for that Lori!
cya, Lori
hi sprite, stid
bye bye lori
it is, if you are hungry, eat; if you are tired, sleep; if you are cold, bundle up.
good cause i'm not hungry anyway
but no matter what, drink lots of clear fluids to help your body flush out the germs
clear fluids like vodka?
that is it, stid, couldn't have put it any clearer :)
vodka is good for almost everything
oooh. Found the shakespeare play the kids and I will see Thursday night... did you-all know we're going to Ashland Oregon Weds and staying to Friday with my grandfather?
vodka is very important
LOL red -- it has its uses!
lol red -- I don't know if that's the kind of flushing that helps here ;)
hehehe... actually, I would prefer a silver tequila... =) too bad there aren't any clear whiskeys...
well i hain't got vodka
there are, red -- it's called moonshine ;)
vodka is almost as good as cola drinks for cleaning battery terminals
actually, I drink hot toddies with whiskey, tea, lemon & honey when I'm not feeling well in the winter. and sometimes when I am. ha.
somebody's been watching mythbusters...
sorry, Takuma. I meant clear whiskeys that WON
good to know, BR!
redshoes, my scottish phd supervisor swore by that for colds. and I must say, it always works for me
oops... *won't take the lining out of my stomach
ah -- important distinction, red
What play are you going to see Stid?
ohhh I so want to put in rampart
I drink hot lemonade with rum when I have coughs in the winter, does that count? :-)
otherwise, I can't stand rum... (some pirate me, eh?)
sounds almost as good!
you can put it in, jakes, but itwon't stay!
I keep wanting to put in emus. =)
jaegertea.... tea with rum when cold or having a cold... I don't like it, but it helps. And then into bed :)
Hi everyone
(Sprite)
whiskey and theraflu works well too, if you don't mind going to sleep almost immediately after finishing ;)
nor will radient :-( why dr god why are you so mean to us to give us such a big grid with so many near words
howdy lickety
hey Lickety! *hugs* Good to see you!
hi lickety! {{{{though I haven't gone there yet, I know the list is going to be essential today!
Hi Lickety!
Has anyone finished?
blech. theraflu is the invention of beelzebub
Hi Nono, stidmama, and all!
a couple, I believe, lickety
Hi, all. Just checking in here and there. Busy finding words!
I do like the theraflu stuff. finally tried it this winter. tasted like cider. mmmmm
fmitch finished this morning
yes a couple finished earlier
really? wow - impressive!
must be ten or so now that have finsihed
just crossed the 300 threshold myself
legendary even
coming up for air..hi lickety
Hi carelekat - go girl!
hi carlee!
ok, off to a meeting with the bossman. later kids.
now can someone explain to me how in a grid on 535 words where I have found 330 I only have 200 left to find?
now..am down to a "reasonale" grid size..200 to go...
i'm up to 275, and i've got some work been emailed to me, so i'm taking a work break.
I don't think it's fair to give us a humongous grid like this one and include words like those in the EM category. Not bloody fair!
*grin* lickety's name is in the grid!
go carlee go!
really stidmama?
gump...diving
lol yes stid, so it is :)
Which word?
your first name, lickety
oh - that word!
heehehhehe - got me there!
rofl, yes that word! :-)
now everyone is wondering what your name is... but I can't tell them!
Man - what a night! It's 1am now
why up so late?
Hmm. I'm missing an "n" from the lower tile -- are any of those really unusual?
hey, stid!, hi, lickety! thank goodness for the Babble Expert today!
I'm making the most of my freedom
hi angelsong!
don't think so, Takuma. The weirder Ns come from the top N :)
Hey angel! - BTW - if things run slow at the end of your words - blame me - it's all my fault
thanks Spr
and because v12 just aint right yet
you sound just like my Tom! I know when the boys and I are gone he'll be up into the wee hours of the morning on his computer and watching TV...
wow! I just noticed I have less than 100 words left to find.
I'm watching Ghost Rider with Nicholas Cage
go angelsong go!
down to 87 here and yes, it is slow now, lickety, takes seconds to load each word. But it works and that is what counts. Is it a good movie?
is it any good, Lickety?
Helps me not sleep ;-) It's corny - but just what I need
looked horrible in the promos
sometimes corny is just what I want to see...
*grins at lickety* Sounds like you could use a good hug and a drink ;)
Oy -- didn't even think about all the '-est' possibilities
good special effects - that's enough to tingle my brain endings
6 no's
what does 'corny' me4 exactly? Very average?
Sprite - got half covered
seemed like a strange role for Nick Cage
with Nanette that makes 8, BabbleRabble
We got "The Last Starfighter" from netflix last week (just before the TV bit the dust) and the kids loved it. Not the best storyline, but the special effects esp for their time were excellent
Hey, I liked Ghost Rider. Kinda silly, but it is based on a comic book series, so you have to keep that in mind at all times.
Hehhehe - love you all! I haven't finished the movie yet - but now I don't want to go back ;-)
that's a great movie for kids, stid
stidmama - thanks for the tip - I'll get it for my kids
good point, Judi. I'm probably too critical about it -- Ghost Rider was the first comic I ever bought myself when I was a kid
535 words! yeeha!
We enjoyed it a lot, and talking about how it was made just after star wars got history and filmmaking into the discussion. It was like when we were homeschooling...
We've been innundated with comic book movies lately. Spiderman, Superman, Fantastic 4, etc. etc.
hey lickety -- stidmatt is taking his first real computer course, a Cisco networking intro! the teacher (who usually teaches it to college-age people) says he's doing well!
go lmj go!
cool stidmama - sounds like you connected. Cisco is a great talent - really sort after - good on him
wow stid
congrats lmg
*proud mama look* steem
I did NOT do that! *blush*
sprite - i'm going lickety chat - first time in ..... forever
grinnnn stid!
i'm just getting started on the grid, excited there's so many words after the small ones we've had
it didn't work anyway...
what do you me4, lickety? The chat does not work here?
my god its just started to hammer it down and jakes somewhere in the street playing
Good morning/afternoon all.
HAZ!!!
hi Haz
howdy haz
Hiya, Haz@
The very one! How did it go?
'lo haz
Haz! long time no see!
jakes mum has a drenched kid
Hello to all!
grab a bar of soap and run outside, at least Jake will be clean tonight!
hi Haz
My husband has just calmed me with the knowledge that he is in fact in a friends house
I have a drenched dog. MUCH worse smell.
good for hubby. *puts away towel*
jakes mum - gotta love technology
We can all rest easy, then. And Jake avoids an unwelcome wash.
haz - blow dry your pooch
I have a still drying dog
Scan went very well, Chris insisted on buying 5 pictures of baby (not that he's a proud dad or anything) she looked very comfortable lying on her back with her feet up
when I was a child in Puerto Rico sometimes it rained really hard and mother would send us out in the street to play... it was so much fun!
i may update to pro a lot sooner than i had planned...this is very tough without the help of the letter/length tiles, lol
CsC -- pro is good! :-) or you might just want to use lickety today...
CsCdeFounder - do you run Windows? Would you like to try BabbleExpert?
lol CsCde... you could check at lickety's help page for those, if you like
heh -- DrGod's way of encouraging subscription ;)
Her hairs not really long enough to need blow-drying. It was either blindfold her, and not look at spaniel eyes, or take her for a walk in the rain.
Jeesh. I remember being sent to school wearing my brother's hand-me-down yellow rain slicker. The one with the huge hood and the metal buckles!
what's BabbleExpert, lickety?
sounds very very familiar, haz
I'm just praying jake didn;t take his shoes off before he went in the house and they are now getting a wash under his mates trampoline
BabbleExpert is the next best thing to chocolate CsC...
I'd really love someone else to answer CsCde - I'm getting bored of it
hi stid.. hi everyone.. computer problems so i'm on dialup with NO list.. can not get the DSL light on my modem to stay on.. arrgh... I was a kid in P.Rico too, Cayey and Ponce.. where were you?
lol -- you scheming parents!
I needed a breath of fresh air as well - but it's so cold!
hi aloyisius
not saying much since i'm not a big fan of chocolate and it hurts my teeth, lol
howdy aloy
Haz - you are cruel!
north of ponce... the Ramey AFB
heheheh heheheheh
I also got to go baby shopping this afternoon! YAY
lickety made a browser especially for Babble... it has the 2nd letter stats, but even if you don't use them, like me, you will love the chat/add word feature. A chat box that enters single words to the list and more words to the chat
silly me, actually north of aguadilla...
I was 7 when we left after 1.5 years. I still miss it.
did your daughter get 3-d ultrasound?
sprite -- you said you knocked out the 'K's? are they mostly uncommon? I'm not seeing a one of them
(sprite ()()(
ahh, Henry Barracks for me.. (-: loved the mountains, did NOT like Ponce area
you can make it fit your own ne4s perfectly, it has resourse links if you want them and all :)
ah -- windows is required for that, LIckety?
thanks for pointing out that letter, takuma! LOL
as far as Ks go, they are not unusual, Takuma.
Sato, yes - unfortunately at this time. And don't forget - when you get fireworks - you get fireworks!
heh, that could go either way -- thanks, though, Sprite. I'll just put my head down and get to work on them ;)
I loved aguadilla area, and the mountains were so cool! all the goats... and that HUGE antenna dish set in the mountains! that was awesome.
ah -- I'll have to get my windows emulator running to see this
no they are not tough, Takuma. And nothing above 5 letters. And the 5 letter words are building on a 4.
stidmama - that sounded wierd! Dish in mountains!

Not the entire state, Stid. But about 24,000 people. Unbelievable!!!! Thankfully, I'm federal. LOL
the other day someone (lbd?) was sitting on ice with feet on a block of ice...
Yes, Stid. It's on the front page of our Delaware paper. Gov. Rendell is quoted as saying "there's plenty of blame to go around".
It's even colder here, lickety, and this is supposed to be summer!
very, very hot here, too. Thank goodness for air conditioning.
that is amazing, Judy. What a weird thing!
is the do4/9 considered a bad word where any of you are?
hiya everyone - how many???? Just as well I'm not too busy today!
hiya Foffle
hey foffle!
Oh, love you and leave you - I gotta go back to my movie before it hits 2am. Thanks for the fun!
Not a bad word, Takuma, just not complimentary.
mildly rude here, Takuma
I hear that the major problem is the governor's own personal agenda.
bye lickety
a pejorative
bye lickety, take care of you and lots of *hugs*

Sitting down?
535
GoBraves, only 535
cu later carleekat
yikes - I was guessing high 300s...has there ever been a puzzle this prolific??
Good afternoon Babblers
hi Zenmed!
History is made today, GoBraves, biggest puzzle so far.
Hello Zen.
if there was, GoBraves, it was before the site was make pro
ok I know what word I want clued now honest! ro7/36 plz?
cool....and we are all part of it :-))
535 words?? Is this the biggest grid EVER?
hah... and there you went posting a word already, GoBraves :)
ro7/36 - males who angle, or Mr Stewart's backing singers.
hello : )
Hello Babbler!
Hi sprite and Haz; goodness, this is jolly HUGE today!
ty haz!
i remember someone talking the other day about a grid from december of '05, i believe...think it was over 600 words
wouldnt that be ro**wo***?
some of us oldies remember a bigger one, Babbler, but it was very long ago
Hi Babbler & Zenmed
It is, Zen. The truly addicted give a sigh of satisfaction.
true CsCde
Possibly, Atalante!
how big was that one, sprite? I probably saw it too!
someone said this was the largest grid
around 600, babbler
wasn't there one closer to 600?
Hi sprite, haz, Zen,babbler, uncle tom Cobbley and all. This is the father and mother of grids, methinks
yup
yes, I vaguely remember that one, sprite! I'm sure I finished it. or got close
hi hetty
Hello hetty, nice to see you.
600 was before my time. My first grid was over 400. I almost had a heart attack. This one is unbelievable!
Hi Hetty
well, to be honest, this one is big but not nasty!
I have had a harder time with some tiny grids
this grid would not be so long if there were fewer words
I was just going to say that. Usually the bigger ones run like dreams.
well, I've got one from every tile, so one goal down
Well all, gird your loins and heads down (except for Haz, who no doubt is within an ace of finishing)
down to 36 now, still listless and not really stuck... that is pretty okay
woot Takuma!
I've finished, hetty. Two tubes of Smarties helped.
go Sprite go. I only have 414 to go! LOL
hooray for Haz !!!!!!!!!!!!
woohoo Haz!!!
This looks like it's gonna take all day; I gotta get up earlier!
wow, haz -- cognacs!
getting close then, CiociaJudy!
Smarties help anything go faster.
Amazing Haz!
I hope you're all listening to lovely music at Last.fm? *coughs, trying to bring today's theme in* :D
right now I am re-ing all words I found so far and it is paying off :)
Thank you all!
Sprite, you are a marvel. And Haz, you are my model--always ahead and smarter than any smartie
clue for the 1st sc5/12 plz?
Oh hetty, you're very kind. It's a fun grid.
I'm gonna go on the Smarties diet now!
np found it
sc5/12 - add a charged particle for a descendant
lol, just asking often does the trick, right jakes'mum?
But a restricted diet, Zen - two tubes is enough!
good idea, sprite. I just started that, and it's working well for me too
535 words... I've never been so greatful for bulk add :)
after a sugar kick you will end up in a sugar dip...
yay Takuma :)
every time i ask for a clue I decide to put in a funny combination and it works (sigh) what am I to do?
p ;
Sit on your hands until the clue is given. Otherwise we have to start imposing the 10 second rule.
Hi Inge
just go on asking and putting in funny combinations, I'd say ;P
aha found one before I asked for the clue!
Awwww, only two Haz; at least it will be more nourishing than the Single Entrail Diet !
lol jakes-mum!
Are you kidding me? 535 words?
Yes, the Smartie diet is destined for greatness in my opinion. Although I still haven't forgiven them for changing the packaging.
now that is very strange! all my s and t words have gone missing from my list?
no kidding BGL
with very long wordlists sometimes that happens with the site, jakes'mum. Refresh or force refresh might help
hmm will try refreshing hold on
That can sometimes happen with a huge grid, jakes-mum. It's designed to make you think you've gone mad.
the puzzle i'm thinking of must have been in december of '04, because i just looked in the archives for every december '05 puzzle and none were bigger than this one
time for me to split. Good luck all!
Nooooo, they've changed the packaging?!
bye Takuma!
BYe Takuma - see you again.
phew, that took an hour!
could be, CsCde. Can't remember when, but I know it was long before this whole pro thing started.
535 words? Seriously?
my phantom phantom: labyrinthine
never take babble seriously
Zen - you know they used to have tubes with plastic lids? No more. Hexagonal cardboard things. A travesty.
nope still no words after my Re's
i know it was in december, i remember that much...thought it was '05, but had to have been '04 since i just looked thru all the december '05 grids
Sherlock and Spangle should investigate this heresy..
wow I finally got a grey square. alleluia!
It was probably instituted at the behest of Health and Safety people.
have you tried Cntrl - refresh, jakes-mum?
I still think it is criminal, Haz. I was loving those lids. They could be used as stamps
Exactly sprite - and they came in different colours.
I might even still have a series of them... my kids have used them as stamps too.
Probably Haz, those dullards are determined to make life as drab as possible; booooo!
Holy Cr*p batman! this has got to be the biggest grid ever!
If I'd known they were going to do it, I'd have made a point of forming either a collection or a petition against!
HAHAHA welcome to the grid dawg
YAY there back
omg - disappear for 2 days and what do I find? a monster grid lol...Hi everyone
lol lbd
do what haz..my chat log not going back quite far enough
Hi mmim!

Hello mymuse and lbd. (It's quite funny seeing everybody's reaction)
btw, hi everyone
hi Haz!
hi sprite!
yep, the reactions are fun to read!
hi lbd!
hi lbd, it is not that bad. It is just big, not tough
carlee - I was protesting about the decision to change the packaging on Smarties. It served us fine for generations, then they changed it 'for safety'.
tam ped
ok..HOUSEWORK... I must do HOUSEWORK
smarties come in a box here
oh oh NOnnie
ty nonnie I didn't have that
40 to go!
Haz, this is a tragedy on a par with changing Marathons to Snickers! My life was never the same after that!
You can get boxes as well, but also tubes. Children used to use them as money boxes as well.
go Angel go
but I vaguely remember them being...in a tube of sorts..but really vaguely... we used to make "hummers" out of the box afterwards
8 here, Angel
I remember doing that and collecting the tops with the letters on!
Not just that, Zen. Have you tried Milky Ways recently? Completely changed.
( if you blew in one end...was like a kazoo )

I agree! I want my movie!
whoooo hoooo SPRITE, i'm most impressed
oh, I am not the first finisher, there have been several before me!
There were no computers then, Zenmed. The closest thing we had to technology in school were slide rules, and they were only for the maths geeks.
Half done!
ta 7/40 please?
i think this is the biggest puzzle i've seen
Yeah, I never got the hang of those Haz..
ta7/40 - combine a cassette with the stomach feature most people want rid of.
They were scary, Zen.

A doctor made it his regular habit to stop off at a bar for a hazelnut daiquiri on his way home. The bartender knew the doctor's habit and would always have a drink waiting. But one day the bartender ran out of hazelnut extract, so he substituted hickory nuts. When the doctor arrived, he took a sip and exclaimed, "This isn't a hazelnut daiquiri!" "No, I'm sorry," the bartender replied. "It's a hickory daiquiri, doc."

it was a tradition to bring super soakers to the 4th of July parade and spray the onlookers, well, this year one parent decided to complain and make it a personal attack on the cubmaster (calling him a bad role model, etc.) and how water guns spraying people aren't really a good "scout" behavior and these people never come to a planning meeting or any service project. It just sucks that they would do that to people
umm never watched twilight zone :-(
There's one in every crowd
and you know, the CM said he could have taken it if it was honest criticism or from someone who gives a lot of time to help, but from someone who won't do anything BUT complain, it bites
Hello all - i seem to have been doing this grid for ages and have still got 89 to find

thanks Lori and jakes-mum
pr 7/52?
pr7 = before a big stone
or before **** and roll
for me, on any grids with more than 320 words, give or take, babble is very slow to load up for me. Then my computer freezes for a minute or two until an abort script prompt pops up. In the background while the prompt is still on the screen, the word list loads (usually 3-400 items), and once all that is done, I click on No for the abort script prompt. The chat also doesn't load up right away either, so I usually do the Ctl+Alt+Dlt thing just to speed it up. I don't actually restart my computer, as I only hold and press the 3 buttons once. Once the chat prompt is working, I just close out of the Restart thing and continue on like normal.
a specific stone ---as in rock? generic word for rock?
you just used the word lol!

tr 8/50 clue?
whew, just checked my list, i'm ok. so did you have to reenter them inge?
past tense of tr6 before it
yeah i lost all my t's and u's... it came back though most anyway
no, since it wont take them again at this point. The only solution would be to fihish the end of the alphabet first. I did, but had skipped two s 5 words, now I have no way to find the two misisng ones.

maybe someone who is finished can help you find them
try this: close firefox. Open IE. Go to babble. You will get a message about the script 3 different times. CLick NO each time. That should give you the whole list
i'm on the S words right now. let me finish them, and i'll see if i can help.
pe7 and 8 = pe + hook + consonant + alt*** (the mint) and plural
Oh I think I wrote down the missing ones. Let.s try it: se 5/10 and sa 5/12, if anyone has them give them to me and i will enter them, If my count goes to 0 we have succeeded

Hi all. I've been having a fun time reading over the chatlog. I've never se4/4 so many people enter using expletives and exclamations before saying, 'Hello'! Hilarious. Other amusing moments were Stidmama twice losing her Lickety add box and entering a stack of words in the grid, and the other pregnant lady (not feather) being mercilessly te6/21 by Haz & FMitch with 'watery music' as she prepared to go for yet another scan.
i like computer games, but not board games or competitive games. hate sports...boring
i know, poor stid!!!
they are so much help too, aren't they? lol
I am loving this
awww, hi Jac!

I saw my specialist's lackey earlier about the little lump on the end of my nose. He peered at it through a magnifying glass, just as my GP (who is a skin specialist) did and said, 'Hmmm! Not sure if it's just a colourless mole or naevus, or a BCC. But I doubt it's a BCC; you're far too young!' 'What's a BCC?' I asked. 'Basal Cell Carcinoma,' he answered brightly. 'Cancer!' (Sounding rather gleeful.) 'Oh!' said I.
di+ first vowel + stick that holds the flower
great icon dawg!
got that one
'How old are you?' he then asked. '50,' I said. 'Oh! You don't look that old!' said he.

ditto to feather's comment!
Hi, gwen
thanks and Jac thats when you smile polietly and say ' Whiskey and Cigarettes is my secret to youth
I swear. Some doctors can be such clods some times. Yes, we value their opinions and diagnoses, but they shouldn't treat it as a "Oh, boy! Look what I found!" moment.
Lb whats the other 7 please
Hi Gwen
Herin, the other 7 is a religious district
clue for pe7.40??
oh k
stuck on a dumb one, second st5/12 please
'What would you like to do?' he asked me. "What would I like to do?" I think. 'Would you like to wait and see?' he said. 'Or shall I make you an appointment to have it cut out and a biopsy done?' I was given the choice? Is this the NHS trying to save money?? He didn't say, 'Shall we wait and see if it's cancer and it eats your face?' but he might as well have done. Bl**dy Hell! I have, of course, opted for the removal and biopsy.
Nutty - I know, love. BCC can spread if left though.
st5/12 what teapot spits
Glad you are having the biopsy!!!!
pe+ hook+ half circle + Commander Data is an andr***
besst of luck jac... i have had a couple myself, and they're scary, but i've been lucky.. hope you will be too

Goonight, Judi. Hope your magic pen works for us all.xx

:D
plurals and past tense hung me up on this grid,
mymuse - my Mum told me a story about her neighbour's son-in-law yesterday. He ignored obvious symptoms for 2 years' because both his father and grandfather had died from lymph no4/5 cancer. By the time he decided to see a doctor 2 weeks' ago it was too late.
Silly man!
He didn't go and see someone because he was scared of the answer.
sad, jac...
that is sad that fear ke4 him away
Finally Fireworks for me!
Yes, it is sad.
very sad jac, and so predictable
yay peri
Congrats Peri
She didn't know what it was, she just doesn't like doctors, when it started to get bigger she went

Can't believe I finished this monster!
Congrats, peri!!
thanks so much
yah PERI
I never noticed anything coz she covered it with makeup and whenever I did she said she picked a scab
YAYAYAYAYYYYY, peri
it gives you a good feeling of accomplishment tho, doesn't it Peri?
I guess the point of me saying all that is the urge anyone who has any suspect symptoms to go and see a me/5/16 earlier rather than later.
yes it does lbd
mymuse - my grandfather and grandad in law had those kind of melanomas. Mine's 'a pearly lump'. V. small. Could still be creepingly lethal though, so I'm not hanging onto it.
jac -- color?
mmmmm oysters
Dorens - pearly centre, slightly red border then normal skin. 3mm across, the lackey said.
I skived off work today
On my septum (right on the end of my nose between my nostrils.)

Dorens - yes. Or scabby or itchy, or bleeding.
OH and the actual temp felt like - 1 so no i think id rather do this
The ONLY way I can do this is if someone that has finished copies, pastes, and e-mails me the word list.
Scrabbs - that would be cheating!
for a small price scrabs
sure thing scrabs...
infernal, you said a word!!!!! LOL
i'm glad i was awake last night to work on it. daniel was scared fo the storms we had, and kept waking up every couple hours. by 2am, i gave up and fired up the grid.
Sounds good to me, Scrabbler. Would you send me a copy?
I can do that Scrabbler for you but wouldnt that be naughty?

Our bunnys here in Oz have to be vacinated against Mixo
Hi Janiece and MrP {{Hugs}}
butt complaint once described by me, to the horror of everyone on here, as 'bum grapes'.
yeah, want to put some frozen ice on that butt complaint?
hi, jac!
Hi Mom--how hot was Kentucky today?

Can anyone help? The site says I am missing an r6 but I have them all. I have refreshed the page twice but nothing changes and it takes ages to refresh. I should have fireworks but it won't happen

Let him now Stid
stid - I saw when I read back on the chatlog. Sorry for giggling.
I havent even looked at the list yet
It was funny though.
The toddler improved quickly and went home on oral antibiotics. She was a darn lucky kid, seen early in the illness before the toxin took over.
I admit to using the list for the last dozen words today.
Star tr**, the next generation!
tr4/5 as in Parent Tr**, snare
*stomps foot emphatically* NOT FUNNY! hilarious

an6 is double vowel, same as the 5/12
an+ past tense of what a golfer does
but the house down the street caught on fire, and that took all our power and phone out for over a week, off and on. So we used the pellet stoves, hubbie working all the time so I got a cell phone. Then he called me at one in the morning from work on the cell phone, worried, and the pellet stove had caught on fire.
Goodnight to you all!
Ugh. Just looked at those rankings for the first time.I think I'd have a better chance winning a million in Vegas than getting to a million points!
forgot to move my cursor! *wails in horror and runs to detention corner*
yay, flask!
I have over a million... granted, i have been here a while, LOL
oh April, how scary! obviously YOU are okay... but the hosue?
*hands stid glass of iced tea to sip on while in detention*
It's OK, Stid, 1 out of 535 is acceptable.
(((STID))) it's just not your day, have some chocolate.
pleasant dreams Flask
*pounces on chocolate and mushes it all into mouth at once*
I put the fire out myself. It was smoked out for awhile, but we survived. No more pellet stoves! I had nightmares for weeks.
ugh, april, glad you are okay!!!!!!

LOL, stid!
353 - 182
So glad you were able to get it out... smoky house is NOT FUN! (have done so...)
that would have had me standing over the stove with an extinguisher all night!
My score on that 2nd list (I only ever look at the first normally) is 1,516,171. Oh, and it took 7 goes with the 'unresponsiive script' message to get back here to say that.
gooo gwen and kl!
Does anyone think that this can be done without the list? I am using morewords

ty!
Dont use Mozilla i was having the same issues
So, Jacula, you ARE in the Million Club after all!!
well the DI word that comes to mind refers to me: ditziest....
lbd, I would fall asleep (on the couch, watching the stove, hubbie still at work) and wake up screaming because I could smell smoke. yikes.
how about the other di8?
congrats Rumplestiltskin
Thank you one and all. Now I hope I can get ot of the chair.
sorry, feather, all i have is the church district di
di8/50 (1st) is di*meter - a measurement - + what holds a plant up in the middle (the leaves grow off it) + first vowel in vowel list.
cut it short feather
di8, adj form of the di7 following, person in the district
Rumple--you've been calving?
drop the last vowel on the last di7 and add ** apple a day keeps the doctor away
hooray rumple (no time to bake pies with a grid like this?)_
thank you Jacula
and on that note, I have to admit defeat
its late and I have been ignoring my family
Well, folks, sorry to give up and run, but I'm falling asleep. Good luck to all and a big congrats to all the finishers!

No, no defeat, not with 535 words. 355 is still far above the avg grid.
calves are darling little critters!
You,too, Kalurel. The name of the game is fun. Well, not really, it's Babble, but you get my drift so I'l stop babbling now shall I? LOL.
glad i could help April
