late flip -- hello gang

hi, jilli
doesn't seem to bad by comparison of yesterday
Hello jilli
phantom -- miasma
Hi Jilli
I dont have te PA 7 yet sorry
miny is too a word -- eeny meeny miny mo
phantom - timpane
doesn't that end in i, CCF?
i believe so, jilli, but thought the e is an alternate spelling...could be wrong though
actually now that i think about it, i think it goes with most of the other vowels but not e...i think timpano, timpani and timpano are all words, but not timpane...must be confusing it with another word
Keep seeing impeach
and in connection with your icon, frances, that seems appropriate
ok, redo on my phantom word...acetate
Should really change it now jilli.
It's a great icon, though, frances!
magoo doesn't work? pity, lol
come on -- acey-deucy

morning, good to see a much smaller grid today
hi ren
stat
bbl
I am early today because I was woken up at 6.30 to be told I have a gRANDDAUGHTER!!!!!!!

Gee it was nothing!!!
GREAT DEEHA
What fab news Deeha, congrats, what have they called her and how big

Hey and Yah for you Deeha, what is the stats on the bub?
She was 7ld 8oz and her name is Esther
and obviously she is the most beautiful baby EVER
wow thats a fairly big bub :)
nice name, one you don't hear every time you turn around
hite
Obviously Deeha :)
That is true my daughter is a teacher so she has -usually bad- associations with almost every name you could think of!
lol deeha!
Lol Deeha, what is it about Red headed kids :)
thats a nice name, not a name you hear of alot these days
It is a very pretty name
good eve all happy babbling - ahhh so much a nicer sized grid
there is nothing wrong with red headed kids, herin my little boy could have been red headed
I was trying to think of an abbreviation. Essie I suppose which is nice. I once knew a little girl called Essie Pettifor isnt that an amazing name she ought to have been at Hogwarts!!
Most red headed kids i minded were terrors, said with love
hi Groovy
hello kiwi

Morning all...Congatulations to Deeha.......my mothers name was Essie.....
HI Dilly
good eve flask happy babbling
Hey Groovy!
Thanks everybody.Seeing as I slept right through I am exhausted!!!
hi there herinfern!! I'm just putting off going to bed after an awful bridge game.
hi everyone, just saying hello but I'm lost in the grid, will be lurking
hi all, i came back for a brief interlude
hey kier
hi dilly -- our game was no prize either
I'm stalled here but do have a word or more for each tile
how do I move this to the left jilli?
ill be back
you mean move chat to the left? I think you can only move clues to the right -- but why?
just must have heard me. Love to play Sat. Wantto play my place for a change?
or is it all overflowing your screen?
dilly, that might be good. Have you been to my place lately though?
I just wanted to be able to see chat. Terrible fire could see smoke and flames from deck - seemed to be Bullock lake area according to other watchers.
I guess that's why sirens were racing by this evening!
dilly, if you close the clues everything will move over to the left
Yes --- time I took a turn; You.ll tell Ima and Patricia --- 1;30?It righted itself. Seems to have adopted a patronizing air .
What righted itself? What patronizing air?
My computer - I'm never sure of it;s intentions.
LOL!
Now I shall try a few words and toddle off to bed!
Re the fire -- I half-heard something on the TV news about a fire and Gulf Islands -- missed the details -- they must have been talking about here. Bad time, when there's wind and it's dry! I wonder if the resort is affected.
I'm off to bed too -- night all
Sirens were non-stop fof some time after I got home. I would be in range of hosp. of course
nite all--sweet dreams
cant find the last cy5 help please
cy5 -- add vowl to cy4
can't believe TATAS isn't in there
was that a double negative?
hi again kier!
I tried that too kierlex
hi fran
bodacious tatas...
hi jilli! i thought you'd left
thanks for those C words by the way. :-)
actually, I tried tata, as in ttfn -- tata for now
I thought I'd left too - lol
lol
yw
phantom: catnip
half way, so now I really am off to bed --babble well, all *poof*
night jilli1
A quick clue in my icon for the CY7/40 before I go off to bed!
thanks liz! good night
brb
You might have to refresh to see it!
morning all. I am restricting myself to 10 mins babble b4 I go to work (steels herself)
hi all, i just dreamt hobbit turned into a great dane
But you've checked? She's still Hobbit?
well, as far as I can see ... she might be harbouring secret great dane tendencies somewhere though
I hope she hasn't been taken over by an alien force. I know how uncomfortable it can be.
Hello Everyone
Good morning best
hopefully not ... otherwise she'll be jumping over 10 foot high fences when I take her out like she was in the dream
good morning afternoon evening everyone
morning lore
It's amazing how vivid dreams can be and how disturbing sometimes. I once dreamt that I was cross when a shop wouldn't sell me a crossstitch kit - about on the same level of reality as Hobbit being a Great Dane.
Good morning loredana.
I hate my dreams. I get totally creeped out by a lot of them, and they end up totally screwing up my day after
lol atalante
hi everyone
hi andree
I know, it takes time for reality to re-emerge and the balance of life to right itself.
Hello Andree.
right found 60 words, Have really got to go to work now. We you all later
a rare day off today, went to lunch and movie with my sister
*see
Bye jakes-mum, have a good day.
bye jakes
dreams were actually the reason I ended up getting diagnosed with bipolar - I went to my doctor after not being able to sleep for days and days because I was too scared to close my eyes and dream. That doesn't happen so much anymore, but its horrid. Hate dreams!
That was nice, Andree.
It's understandable, Atalante. Does medication help or make them worse?
bye jakes mum
saw knocked up, very entertaining
ive seen knocked up aswell Andre..did you enjoy it?
hi andree, haz, lore, ata!
Hello FranMag.
i sure did best
much better. not great, still. but better. I think my dr always has good dreams though cos she never truly understands how awful dreaming can be
thanx for sayin hello 2 me..lol
hi fran!
hi fran
hello fran how are you
hi best, didn't see you right away
hi best
I've never had full-blown nightmares but have had enough disturbing dreams to know how it can affect the rest of your day. It seems so real, and you are helpless within them.
nah its fine
hey
doing great lore, how about you?
you're lucky :) may it long continue! no nightmares! woot!
I hope yours settle down, though it sounds as though they're not as bad as oriiginally.
sorry to babble fireworks and rush but im knackered after the getting the mother of all babbles done and youngest sons birthday day so im headed off to bed
nite all and happy babbling
night kiwi!

Good night Kiwi, sleep well.

phantom: statin
yes i enjoyed it good to use my brain cells sometimes
I think so, FranMag.
it was fun
i did not even see it, how big was it
545 andree
535, Andree.
i would have enjoyed it more without the kids dragging me away every couple of minutes...like now.
OMG
glad i didn't look
i'll see you all in a little bit!
lol fran
morning all, what a small grid today...
hi spritey!
Good morning sprite.
hey Haz and Ata :) Is it fun today?
morning sprite
hi lore
not as fun as yesterday!
hi sprite
It is fine so far, but everything is on a smaller scale.
I loved yesterday's. Not tough, but BIG and the words kept on flying out at me, lol.
hey Andree, long time no see! How are you?
hmmm does anyone else here have trouble with the lickety browser? I keep getting green flashes for each word, right or wrong, and so I checked and now I see I can't connect to the list either. Couldn't get my movie yesterday either...
dont use it so would#t know :)
Sprite LIckety did inform us that it might not work yesturday and mine didnt work either but i may have freaked out my pc
I'm not sure, I haven't started using the add feature yet.
lady, can you see the list now?
NOt game to try as i think i may have stored it on D drive which is full
sprite - I've sent words to the list and it has worked.
thanks Haz, then it must be a problem on my pc... darn! *off to try and fix it*
sprite mine is working okay yesterday a little slow
hey herin so much do love your icon hmmmmmm...
thanks lore... I have no connection to lickety, it appears. No movie right and no list left, Page can not be blabla is the message.
Yep big fan
Sprite i have given it up till i empty D drive
me too love this yummy generously talented guy and he can act too hey!!
gm all
well, better send lickety a mail then, all other internet pages work fine, connection is ok, force refresh makes no difference.
hi lain
Good morning Iain.
ok im off to cook dinner
bye herin
okay see you later
morning Iain
hi iain
bye lady. Mail sent... we will see!
the difference some fluff can make: http://tinyurl.com/yry4qv (especially for haz)
I am not Haz, but I like it :)
cute aren't they :) Hobbit likes other cockers, she hates most other dogs
that is really funny!
I like it, Atalante - I could hear the sniffing!
I know!
much sniffing, much circling
I don't think our dog ever knew the difference between his breed and others, lol
I really can;t believe Hobbit does either, but she really does react differently to cockers (and springers, a bit) than any other dog
a very special dog she is :)
or very odd ... lol
Maybe she's happy with the general size and shape being similar to her own. Or do they all have a coded smell?
I really don't know! she won't talk to any other dog, even those the same size as her, but she'll run up to a cocker. its really strange
hah, the japanese floormats... I tried it without seeing how it could be made and it took, lol.
I go for the smell theory, then.
me too. which I find absolutely fascinating
lol me too sprite
:D
Morning Babblers
hi Nanette
Good morning Nono.
todays grid looks a little less intimidating
morning nono
hi nono
and less rewarding, lol

Hi Andree - how are you...and how is your sister? all back to normal now?
morning lynxxx
pa7/32 - put a backward looking consonant into the pa6/21 - the polished glow?
she is great, i took a day off and we did lunch and a movie in town
funny clue! Worked for me, thanks
By the way there are two pa6/21 - the first is the one I'm referring to, the second finishes with the fork prong.
Glad it worked, sprite.
Good to hear Andree - and glad to hear you are taking some time for yourself - are you still selling?
yes lynxxx, had a meeting monday with accountant to get the show on the road

This is a first for me... I've managed to grey out the whole of the first column straight off. I'm going to give myself a pat on the back!
Yahoo Michharv, and good day all.
brb... gonna switch computers
and i just wacked my finger on the bench
Ouch, is it OK?
bruised sitting in peas
okay back
hey toadette
Congrats, TandT--you know you're having a boy now. We can help you with a name, as we have for Featherbee.
wow anyother boy
thats 4 (?) babble babys on the way
Featherbee and KristinC are both due Aug10
then theres jakes mum 2
Oh, yes, she is also due.
Simon Scott Nation will be his name
I'm due October 8
Your last name is Nation? I love the name Simon!!!
yay, a normal grid!
yes my last name is Nation
I have a friend due October10.
oooo, baby talk!
Hi Featherbee--did you dream about the grid all night?
lol, amazingly no. how far did you get?
i have 2 Yi 4s and a YE 4 what am i missing please
herin, did you finish it listless?
I think I am going to go early. The doctor was messing with the calendar thing yesterday, but didn't tell me why. he said everything was great
no i ran out of time :(
there's a yo
I got to under 400 remaining. I wish that grid had been the one for Sunday, then I could have worked on it off and on all day.
i know, mixed up timing on those grids
Congratulations T&T - and a very 'manly' name
aww too bad herin!
off to check email, brb
I love it! If it was a girl it was going to be Mary-Ellen Jean
thanks
Is this your first baby, Toadette?
yes Scrabbler
The one yi word I have is what little dogs do. A clue for the other yi?
we were hoping to wait until the birth to find out the gender, but my husband is deploying (again) soon and will not be present for the birth :(
ditch the S and add a vowel at the end
OK, got it, TY Lady
Toad wont they hold him off for the birth of the first child
Pardon my spelling as i just wacked a finger and now have a bruise
no herin, military doesn't care
nope. we are not the only ones in this situation
thats rude
That is sad!!
How unfortunate Toad - are you staying in Germany for the birth?
my cats are chasing each other through the house. one just wacked his head on the coffee table... kept running though
yeah, but its part of being in the military. we don't get to choose. He chose to be in the service and we deal with it
Toad thats funny when they do stupid things
I have great admiration and respect for your husband's call to service--thank him for me.
cats that it :)
yes I will be staying in Germany. Our Squadron is being really strange about allowing people to move back home. The Army is really short on money, so they won't pay. Plus, I have a job here and really like my doctor
I will do that Scrabbler
Today's news says the war effort is costing the US $12 billion/month.
My cats were Christmas presents/wedding gift from my husband before he deployed the last time (3 1/2 weeks after our wedding)
doesn't surprise me Scrabbler
My grandfather was in the service, he was a Sergent Major
My nephew's friend, almost 19, will be deployed in Dec--is currently going through infantry training at Camp Lejeune
You guys elected Bush, scrab!
my husband won't make it to that rank. haha. his MOS is one that he won't go very far up the chain because it is so specialized
Yes, Zenmed, and he has morphed into a wacko
I will not coment on that one
just because bush is the prez, doesn't mean we ALL voted for him!
LOL Scrable
yes Zen, we know. However, I don't blame him for all of it. He has a cabinet of advisors that have "convinced" him to continue. I believe that the whole administration is to blame, not just Bush
Yes, good point, Toadette
It was obvious he was calamity since 2000!
at the last election it was the nation voting for the lessor of two evils. I would rather have my husband working under Bush than working under Kerry... he's more of an idiot than Bush
Politics and politicians just make me crazy
If i can ask what does your husband do in the service Toad
He's a medic
HI all, did many people finish yesterdays grid
Wow Toad thats a great job, my old friend was 20 when she won a scholarship to Glasgow Uni for Neurosurgery. Me i finished hi peri
there is really a lot of good that is going on over there with us there. However, the major problem now is the Iraqis don't care and would rather us continue to do the work they need to start doing
not me
Wow, great for him, Toadette! (I am a pediatrician, and one of my former patients, age 24 was killed in Iraq last December :( God bless Travis!)
i finished yest too
of course I started really late and got tired and went to bed
Hi Periwinkle--I didn't have time to finish as it was a long work day.
Hi Peri...I'm guessing the usual did as the stats didn't change much
That is irrelevant Toad; if Bush is weak and stupid enough to allow himself to be bullied into a wrong decision, then he should not be there. But everyone knows that anyway..
its hard when it is someone you know Scrab... luckily I don't know anyone who has died
I dont agree with any form of war or violence but i dont make disparaging remarks about those that do believe what they do is right and just, and good on them and god bless
I think that people of true integrity, honesty and courage tend to not go into politics, so we don't have the best people to vote for
ok..THIS looks like a resonable grid ( heck 300 would look resonable today )
Good morning Carlee!
Hey Carlee
I'm not sorry for the way I feel Zen. I deal with it every day, and don't have enough power to change things. Election is in a year, things will change then
What codswallop herein
Hi Carlee
Toad Are you a native German?
no, we are stationed over here. I was born and raised in Oregon
I like that word--codswallop
Oh ok cool.
Scrab, I think you are right with that comment
oh..we on politics...
I am staying mum here on that Carlee :) I agree to disagree
yes and it is a bad topic
I remember when Bush was elected... the first time... and I remember saying to all of my friends at the time..."you watch, within this administration...the USA will be be engaged in a full scale international conflict with someone..."
It is a fervently discussed topic in the US, for sure
within 6-8 months...the sabres were rattling with korea
I just get in a snit about it so i just stay quiet rather than get my panties in a twist
with the way history goes, it was bound to happen no matter who was in office
then 9-11...and welll korea was forgotten and aphganistan it was...
It seems so - obviously Zenmed has very strong feelings about the US influence/impact on the world. But better perhaps the 'policeman' we know than the one we don't....
I have hit a wall with 85 to go--not so easy now
I have 78 left. not sure
Im going ot poke at sudoko back in a sec
it would have happened eventually..I mean..something would have...but when you look at the previous administration...tand the efforts made to dissolve the bosnia, herza situtaion...etc....I think... the matters may have been adressed in a different manner....am sure conflicts would have happened..but I don't believe the current mess would have been so...desperate on all sides
Well, I am off to breakfast, newspaper, shower then work. Enjoy the day. Toadette, tell your husband THANK YOU!
and on that note... I think I will look for my first word
bye Scrabbler - have a great day
oh..what a yummy and rich first word..I love pa4 on crackers....
thanks scrab, have a wonderful day!
My strong views on the US lynxxx are that Bush has turned the great country that it was into a bankrupt basket case and a laughing stock for much of the world..
He will move on Zenmed (aka be booted out) and let's keep our fingers crossed for a better leader for that country
it is sad that you think that, because inside our country we are not that messed up. It was a mistake that we admit to having become involved in the situation. we are a strong country that gets involved when it doesn't need to. and that is a downfall. every country has their downfalls. it just so happens that because the US is seen as a great country everyone looks at us intensely
Yes lynxxx, hopefully Hillary
afternoon everyone
Hi JakesMum
Hey Jakes how is the bean?
what irratates me more is that people look down on what the troops are doing over there. They don't have a choice because they signed on the dotted line when they joined. But instead of trying to see some good out of it, everyone belittles what they do. My husband has a job and he does it. While he is deployed he does good things by medically helping people who would otherwise not get the help
Hi jakes
hi jakesmum... someone mentioned that you are also expecting
Zenmed - she's certainly got the backbone and the 'nous'
I am, due on the 12th Jan, you'll all have to excuse me today i'm angry with my hubby and may be a bit miserable today
hi everyone and how are you jakes mum what is the latest xxxxxxxxx
what did the doppy Mere Male (MM) do today
hi nan
oh I'm sorry jakesmum. I know the feeling lots of days
I'm due Oct 8
Toad, I don't think ( this from canadian perspective ) that the "troops" are looked down upon as a whole ( individual like the abu gharhab situation..yes ). I n this way this is completely diff from vietnam. This time people realise it is the administration ( all of the admin) and not the troops themselves
what is the problem darling xxx
are there any clues around for the 7's?
Toad - I'm not into war/conflict either - but certainly would not decry any military personnel over there. They do an unenviable job - above and beyond what they probably 'signed up' for.
Toad, I am aware that the troopps are doing the best that they can; unfortunately they have a moron as commander-in-chief
any one got the go 5 20 please
I understand what you are all saying, but I hear it first hand from some and see how it effects the troops when things are said because I am surrounded by them and am married to one of the best (in my opinion... )

flask, pa + snake +**** Turner
Challenging :)
thanks Annie......the Babble part of my brain is totally fried after yesterdays offering.....lolol
harriet, a friendly warning, this can be extremely addictive
I used to play a lot of Literati
yw flask
I'm familiar with the syndrome ;)
babble addiction: first of all you find yourself waking at 3am and screaming "potato", and then rushing to the computer to enter it. Next stage is when you print out babble pages in the morning so you can play at work all day.
In extreme cases you can be found in the internet cafe across the street from where you work at every available opportunity....
lolol flask just seen brain fried message
And when you dont play for a week you start to shake, and play in your dreams.....
or maybe thats just me....!
perfect description a babble player, dachef
clue for the im7 please
clue for yi4.7
im + pa5,12
thanks harriet, don't have that pa5/12, because the one i have doesn't work, so guess i need a clue for the pa5/12 :)
Im in an internet cafe at the moment! have just moved - and my tv and internet wont be connected for another week. Strangely, the tv I'm not missing at all - but I really needed a babble fix!!!!!
green---sound a dog makes
oh, and welcome to the insanity :D
pa5,12 - another word for glue
thanks harriet
ok, there were 500 words yesterday and I got 180 of them
dachef, good luck on your move....
Now I seem stuck at 19 words
thanks annie.
I'm glad I was sent here. I've got a broken foot/ankle, so I'm stuck sitting around with my foot up still and I thought I'd reached the end of the internet!
this IS the end of the internet. don't walk any further or you'll fall off the edge and break your other foot
harriet, you need go no further than Babble...end of the word lince....hope you heal quickly
harriet - this is the end of the internet! This is the dark place where "beyond" means only the real world!
*line
I'm way new at this....how did everyone do yesterday?
That was a HUGE list of words!
LOL, dachef
Yesterday was rare, Serenity. Usually it's about 150-300 words
i finished yesterday, but only with Lickety's list and help from fellow babblers
It blew me away....I think I got about 220
I was pulled away screaming from the computer at over 300 words but many finished, not I
ca

hi une
howdy, carlee :-)
this is VERY addicting, harriet. be prepared!

Hi Uni

hard to start a day without it eh!
carlee, by the time I finished last night I was literally seeing double!
barely, carlee. that was unbelievable yesterday! but I finished around 11:30 p.m. EDT
hey, greenbay :-)
I definitely need my coffee in the morning, flosey
hiya greenbay
i know..I finished just before dinner..the ONLY way I got things done was to finish one group ( say sp's ) and then scrub a bathroom....finish st's scrub other bathroom..etc
geez, carlee. come on over and do that for me. :)
i even had hubby typing words yesterday!!
uh... i still have other stuffs to get done... that grid was just gross..litterally and figuratively
Good morning everyone! I no sooner finished the grid last evening, said hello to greenbay, and a storm knocked out the Internet. I thought, "If that had happened three minutes ago, I would have had a meltdown!" How is everyone?
hey, scarlet!!
Hey, Une!! :-)
MOrning red... recovering... what a brute
morning scarlet :)
lol Scarlet. Morning to you. I had a heck of a time getting the grid to load last night when I got home from work. I was really ready for a meltdown. I only had 128 to go!
Hello, grannymaxx!! :-)
Hi, kat... that was a true brute, you're right! Oh, Ciocia, did you finish?
Hi Scarlet! Didnt finish the monster yesterday, was happy to get over 300 then life shut down the computer
hi granny and Judy
( need ur thinking cap red... doing a "formal tea party" for a birhtday party...finger sandwiches beyond the peanut butter and banana pinwheels and layered chicken and ham salad with cream cheese ribbons )
Good morning, AnnieBrooklyn!! Good to see you... you know, 300 is like two or three grids in all... I love the big ones, but that was a BIG, honkin' puzzle
Good morning, AnnieBrooklyn!! Good to see you... you know, 300 is like two or three grids in all... I love the big ones, but that was a BIG, honkin' puzzle
I dont use the list so I guess that slows me down...
hey anniebrook!! and everybody else!
Hiya Scarlet...how are you????
hey, granny!
Hats off to everyone that finished that monster yesterday!!!!!
pe6/24 clue please??
hi une, did ya finish the big one?
morning, Annie! Yes, Scarlet, I finished. I went to the list with about 200 to go.
yep but was seeing double by the end!
Hey, flask!
same here judy
Sounds so good, kat. Hi, Flask, I'm wonderful, thank you for asking! How are you? Did you finish the biggest puzzle I've ever seen, yesterday? Wow, Judy... that's an accomplishment!
hooray for you, une
hooray for judy too
it was definitely an exercise in endurance... and was it the "largest ever?"
thanks, Annie . . what a monster!
I finished at 2.30 am...our time!
when I finally went to the list, I saw I was missing really easy ones that I just overlooked. With a grid that size, it's easy to miss the simple words. thx Annie
i finished too, but it was 11:30 and i was getting nervous because the flip is 1:00 am for me!
carlee, I thought so but someone yesterday said there'd been one that was over 600 . . .
wow Flask! that's dedication!!!
ugh.. I'll just shoot myself if that happens again
I have to learn to drag the list near the grid...oh dear
I did the same thing, Judy... and the missing words were almost always plurals or root words... some really wierd ones in there... I finished in time to see the Home Run Derby on ESPN!
Oh I was determined....I even asked my carers to come a couple of hours later to put me to bed........it was worth it tho'......I couldn't stop smiling...I was sooooooo pleased!!!
Am I the only person on babble that cant do that
maybe :-D
Une, I am hopeless
Hello all- how many words today?

Good morning/afternoon all.
hello haz :)
hi Haz
I thought I would look in to see how you were doing today. A little less of a burden than yesterday!
for sure Haz, hope we don't see another like that for a good long time
although, it did move along nicely
My scrolling finger got tired, never mind my eyes and brain.
Guten Morgen,
I took a few breaks, ran errands, cleared head
it really was an exhausting one haz
Guten Morgen, inge. Did you get your problems resolved yesterday, or is that still a sore point?
hello inge and flosey.
hi granny
although with the long word lists sevreal babblrs lost part of their words never to retrieve them again. I lucked out, since I was missing only two and Knight time traced them for me
Oh, that's good, inge, I knew you were frustrated.
Good afternoon, everyone.:)
Good afternoon, Jacula.
hello jacula :)
I lost a lot of words but they still registered in tile stats so got fireworks even tho word count and points didn't agree
see my dog Nika? Scrabbler sent me an article abutr a long haired Dachshund adopting a kitten. That dachshun is the spitting image of mine, hence the icon
Tag, Jacular
drop the R
Lovely colour, is Nika.
LOL, inge. There's one Babbler, can remember who, that regularly calls me 'Jocular'.
Lovely dogs! I'm afraid you'll have to put up with my ugly mug on my icon until I get this new computer loaded with my pics and things.
well, your name is pretty easy. Some of the intricate ones throw me every time.
*meant can't remember who.
The ones (the names) without vowels are difficult, I find.
I'm not moving words in this grid as fast as I did in yesterda's.
*days. Sigh!
No, it's more of a 'let's think about these letters' sort of day.
clue for ho5.16
ho5/16 - what bees make.
ty got it
hello all, more reasonable grid!

Hello stidmama.
Hi, stid.
hi stid
I will try again to use the babble browser... :
hi stidmama :)
Well, anything under 200 is great with me!
And we will forgive you in advance.
*gets ready to cover eyes in case of words appearing en masse* LOL
hey grannymaxx! how are you doing today? did you finish yesterday?
tag inge! es will sehr heiss heir sind heute!
*smacks Jacula with a large dahlia just picked from garden*
Hi, stid. I use the browser only after I have exhausted regular babble for at least half the words, since the browser tends to introduce the list
yep but not till 11:30 pm!! you were still going strong then...did you finish?
There's a new approach to not putting words in chat. Use German!
Can anyone clue of 4/5? This is the second time this word has turned up and it has be totally baffled.
OUCH! There's a greenfly in my eye!
I got down to 48 words. both babble and the babble browser froze up on me with 25 minutes to go...
of4 - what the first KingKong said to Miss Wray.
ES ist heute auch hier wieder heiss. Und die All Stars, werden die auf dem Spielfeld schmelzen???
sally: of + first two letters of a sailor's yes
Thanks! Hadn't spotted that 'of4'
Bless you both.
mine froze a couple of times and i lost lickety too :)
schmelz? *runs off to look up word*
You're welcome.
Yes, the Beta V11 did fail me also, very slow entring words, or no words entered at all, It was a real trial technically, ot so much the words
schmelzen to melt
ah. bloom? do well?
oh... the online dictinary was wrong!

any clues for pe6 please?
hi flosey!
+pe 6: the stuff thant hardens your jelly
morning stid - is it muggy down there?
pe6/24 - chest muscle meets a can to form part of fruit
no, but already 21 in the house, so it's going to be a real scorcher. Have the fans running in the windows to try to bring it down to 20 or so.
I wanted that word but couldn't see it, thanks inge
that pe 6 is what we put in jams and jellies to firm them up
wasn't going in right direction

tyvm Haz for that super clue... hi everyone.. I am happily back on broadband (the technician just left).. hot digitty dog, now I can Babble!
Hello Aloy - I can tell you're smiling!
Welcome back to broadband, Aloy. Bet that's a relief!
wb aloy..wtg!
woo-hoo Aloyisius! so I am guessing yesterday's grid was even worse for you? dial-up, big and slow browser?
the air was so still last night, had ceiling fan on night - still no breeze today
oh, stid... it was horrible! I managed to finish, but what a pain in the butinsky when the connection was so poor
oh, not good. *sending fresh air up from the cool and breezy Sound*
no kidding!

Morning, all.
and a japanese grass floor covering (I still remember how the one on my bedroom floor smelled 35 years ago) my dad brought me one from Japan when I was young
Good morning Judi.
hey Judi!
Hello, Judi.
lemme see, double C = 52, minus 10% = 47 + 32 = 79 degrees F... I like the metric much better, wish we used it here.
hi Judi
We would gladly take a bit of your heat inge! Its like Autumn outside.
we do use it in our house Aloyisius... I have trouble converting back nowadays.
its going up to 90's here today...again
clue for fy4.10
Some of the autumn clothes have arrived in the shops. Are they trying to tell us something, JFB?
/ 30's C
or rather I can understand in either system, but can't really convert. that probably doesn't make much sense...
Ha! You can have some heat, JFB. It's about 93 F here right now.
fy4 - to rhyme with frozen water
oh carlee --
when I taught German in elementary school (Lutheran) I noticed that the teachers carefully skipped the metric chapters in the math books----Until I cam with my metric scale to weight the kids!!!
ty HAZ
hahaha....stid..I use both... I use F in summer ( looks hotter and I LOVe the heat ) and C in winter...doesn't look as cold....
You're welcome.
yay for you, inge.. !!! We had our kids drink out of beakers to learn metric volumes of their milk.. (-:
*giggle* good strategy carlee!
did somebody say how many words there are today?
145
works for me stid...
145
hi harp!
what sort of mineral is in your icon?
My Autumn/Winter mail order catalogue arrived yesterday! Anyone for thermal undies?
Hiya Stid, Aloy, Inge. Had to do some "work"!
I might just be interested, JFB.
hi Judy! how are you? did you hear about the wrecking ball that took out a library somewhere back there?
hi CJ! good to see you.. (-:
geez, i don't even have a third of the words
geez, Stid. You know more news from here than I do. No. Didn't here about that. Will have to check it out!
good to see you too Aloy!
it was on NPR when my radio woke me up.
ok..my daughter has a game of life set up..better run
thermal undies? It's supposed to hit 100 degrees F. here today
cu later carlee
oh and while folks are here... I am going to be gone tomorrow through Friday, visiting my grandfather in Ashland
later carlee
we have an Ashland here in PA Stid. Are you coming East? LOL
Sounds like fun, Stid. Ashland, NC?
Ashland is also in Ohio.. Ashland College
The gardening programmes were full of drought resistant plants and tropical crops global warming would enable us to grow! My plants are swimming ad the roses flattened by torrential rain and gales!
have a safe trip Stid. I'm sure it will be great to see him.
Ashland Oregon in the siskyous
sorry, didn't realize there were so many! LOL
Ah. I was waaaay off.
JFB - that sounds just like my garden.:(
how far is that from you stid?
stid, siskyous?
If it rains shortly, blame me; I'm about to put some washing on the line.
JFB, send some of that rain here. I will be watering the garden tonight when I get home.
the mountain range aloyisius, very tall. Mt. Shasta is part of them
The triumph of hope over experience, Jacula.
ahh, ty.. must get there someday
well the california border is fifteen miles further south. 8 hours driving like me, 10 driving like my mother...
Quick check to see how near Jacula is to me - should be OK here!
Yup, Haz. Anyway, it's good exercise running in an out to rescue it.;-)
it's a wonderful town. but getting SO expensive. this will be the first time the boys are old enough to see the plays as we haven't gone down since my granmother died in '01
But it's SO frustrating. Especially when you're convinced that the clouds have gone, only to have one directly overhead, just as you are pinning the clothes out.
Haz - I thought that only happened to me!
yes, the rain coming at the wrong time is as bad as it not coming at all. the plants just can't adapt.
sounds like a great trip, stid. But I don't envy you driving for 8 to 10 hours. Will you make the trip in one day?
No, to me as well. We're doomed.
I think that's partly why I lost so many dahlias over the winter.
LOL
Said in best Frazer voice.
oh yes. When my grandmother was very sick I drove down once a month for four months on the weekend. I don't mind driving... :-) it's all the idiots on the road that I mind! LOL
My runner beans and tomato plants haven't grown at all since I put them out in the big pots. The weather's so weird I don't think they know what to do. Normally, they'd be romping away by now.
clue for go 5,20

The runner beans are the one success I've had - first picing last Sunday
go5/20 - a word for a Gentile. go, reverse the letters of the fifith month, replacing the vowel with another.
Picking I mean
Yes, but neither As you like it nor The Taming of hte Shrew are showing the days we are there.
Heck, JFB! Mi4/5 aren't even flowering yet.
I think the boys will like the ones we are seeing though. they helped pick them out.
Hello, Hetty.
And they're evening shows, so we can spend all day Thursday with my grandfather, and as much as we like on Friday before we leave.
im + years *** I was a little one...
hi all
im5/16 - structured as with im5, the graven thing forbidden by God, but different final vowel.

You're welcome, pabtrek.

Hi all! Yes, we have bi g plans for the boys--ad for you--next wek Stid.

as6 - a view, literal or otherwise
And for your info all travelers, it took Alan and me ten days to get from Ashland to Stid's home--but we went via Susanville, LakeTahoe, Folsom, San Francisco, Mendocino, Bandon, and Wheeler!

Great iea Haz--just so long as you are not thought to be an impo***r!
They've learned not to criticise, in case the brush is thrust into their hand!

Ever kept a scrapbook, Scrabbler?
Oh, I see it now, TY!
hot dog!
LOL, Judi, but when he arrives, we will all know it. Hr comes in like a hurricane.
Scrabbler, don't you worry about "big brother" when you write on a computer at work?
Like someone catching me with a game on the screen?
I mean, i have a friend who was called on the carpet for jotting an email to her daughter.. she thought she had deleted it... but the trace was there
Or Miss Machete looking at the web history?
Your bosses names sound like they came from a sit-com. Like... The Office or Monty Python.
yes, web history
or worse..
Well, I do believe the skies are looking less threatening, so I should take the chance to get my legs stretched (they could do with it) and exercise the dog. Happy babbling to all, especially those who risk life, limb and career for the sake of finding words....
Ha ha! It's a dangerous past-time, Haz, but addiction rules!
have a wonderful walk, Haz. big scratch behind the ears to Spangles.. (-:
Life, liberty and babble should be written into the constitution. Bye!

LOL, this place could supply plenty of material for writers of The Office. Yesterday he posted a note stating that he was disappointed about the staff performance with charting and said there will be a $2 fine for future infractions. Baseline fine = 50cents. How degrading and demeaning is that practice? When it was first instituted several yrs ago I refused to pay a fine---we are humans and sometimes mistakes happen, and rewards/incentives work better than punsihments.
Let me guess who collects the fines...
gheez, what a way to manage.. :-(
They go into a pot and then he uses the $ for a happy hour every few months. I don't attend any office functions.
He says the fines work, but they don't because he hires lousy staff people---no sense or work ethic.
That always kills me. Why would anyone go to a "happy hour" with people they despise (unless to accidentaly on purpose spill drinks on those despised).
what could be 'happy' about that
I tell people here that this is my job and then I have my own social life. I socialize with just 2 co-workers.
Hi flosey! Jill and I need to talk to you about Stid's visit sometime.
The lone D word and the lone i--top right corner---clues?
We'll really hab0ve some happy hours!

No, Jill is in libray Wed, so Friday at 3p.m.?
tomorrow i want to wash all his "little people" toys
Oh, you are in cleaning mode.
Friday at 3 works for me
isn't Jill in Library Friday too?
Once Jill is up and going I'll inform her. Great.
Scrabbler, I hope the little one with T. Shock is doing better?
I'll make sure abou it, Flo.
ok
Now we should both pay fines for discussing private matters on trhe grid!
She improved with one dose of IV antibiotic, and never met the criteria for toxic shock syndrome--fortunately she never got that sick.
oh dear, wouldn't that be terrible
ahh, good news!

*gasps -- you HAVE to see it!!
it's got hugh laurie in it too

he just manages to look so different for each role!
lol...you've seen love actually, right? he was great in that too
*hangs head in shame* i never got around to seeing that either -- its been a LONG time since ive seen a "new" movie... (and yes, i realize thats not very new!)
oh well, next time you're sick, flip through your tv channels and see if either are on
they're both really great - good for a cry
Wow, have you looked at the definition for of 4/9? It's like the n word for white people.

*cold*
clue for ay4.6
I feel so guilty. I'm from Connecticut where it's beastly today.
ay, Hebrew letter
It's beastly here in Asheville... the humidity and the heat are making the flowers very happy, though.
lickety's video is really neat today. Hi everyone
Hello, Idbawger!
Here in Mississippi we are getting much needed rain. Of course everything is steamy!
hi lbd. I came within 11 of finishing yesterday. Fell asleep 20 min befoe the flip
Ibdawger, I mean!
hi bichon and lbd
Cherrypop, I wish you could send us some rain.
rather pleasant here today in MT. by the end of the week it's going to be pure he** again, back to the triple digits
Hi, greenbayladi! Right after I said hello to you yesterday, the Internet went down!
oh my.well I am glad that you got tosayn hello
bichon, bummer about falling asleep before your finish, but all but 11 is still grand. it was a beastly grid
Hi Green! Hi Scarlet!
got a lot of help at the end
did anyone finish yesterday's grid. I got half done
ac 6/21 clue? Hi, all
Love that icon, Ib... LOL. I enjoyed the grid yesterday, but it seemed as though I was in the movie, "Groundhog Day"!
i finished, but now i'm bald! lol
lol
I finished, but I sprained my brain, and the cast is uncomfortable... LOL
Hi Jellen, high card plus cheap metal
ty, lbd
yw
Afternoon all.....
groundhog day...yes, that's quite fitting
Hi, cait... who is your icon?
Hi Caitlyn
hi, caitlyn
James Stewart Scarlet
lbd? Is that you?
i had too hard of a time trying to decide who to have for an icon today...love Jimmy Stewart, the Duke, Tom Selleck, Sam Elliott, Kate Hepburn...oh so many
He was absolutely wonderful in everything he did, caitlyn.
DAICOR! yup it's me
clue for ni5.12
I agree Scarlet and lbd
Bald, again! hehehe
green, ni+ not maS
lol yup, keep buying stock in rogaine!
nips
sorry
I love the new housepet in the grid: the dogcat! LOL
Hope it doesnt hurt daicor!!
LOL Scarlet
my neighbor's cat thinks it's a dog so why not?
Exactly the same with my beastie... she barks, guards, fetches and sits up for treats... as well as "shaking" paws for treats...
And she's a 15+ year old tiger cat with golden eyes...
Or you could look on it as a catgod
LOL, Jellen...
Met cats with that delusion before
Jellen, isn't that redundant? don't cats already think they are gods?
LOL jellen
Please don't tell her that she's not a dog, it would break her heart, Jellen... LOL, Ib
The neighbors have a rottie, and he seems to think the cat is a cool buddy to hang out with. they sleep together too.
lbd all amnner of thoughts are now going round in my head LOL
My dog loves my cats, but they don't care much for her.
morning / afternoon / evening folks
Back in Pennsylvania, a farmer had a crew of barncats who "adopted" a dozen ducklings, and they were very funny to watch..
Hi Fish
Hi, Fishbulb!
hi, Fishbulb!
hi fish
The rottie is very protective of the cat unless he's out visiting our house, then all bets are off. He protects us...not his masters mind you. And he pretty much lets the cat know he's not allowed in our yard.
I really miss having a dog...when we can face it we will have another rescue dog
sad -- started ouring rain as soon as we walked outside!
Our furball is very placid when in her "guard-spot" table facing the large yard...she is bored by the squirrels, ignores the dogs who visit, but gets all bent out of shape when another cat crosses "her" home base...
She's been an indoor cat her whole life.
Hi Eva,,shame about the weather
Hi, EvaN!
*sniffle* because of my hopefully-upcoming move, i have to re-home my kitties. :/
please send pouring rain this way EvaN
Awwww...
i hope you find good homes for them EvaN.
Ib, are you in the path of any of the raging wildfires out West?
Dont cry Eva Im sure you will find good homes for them
its tough cause theyre not kittens anymore, though theyre only 4 years old + have lots of life left! not only that, but its gonna be heart-breaking to split them up because theyve been raised as sisters!
You're pulling my heartstrings, EvaN... they will find good homes, though, won't they?
i wish i could find someone to take them both together, but its proving to be very difficult. and all of the non-kill shelters have huge waiting lists! i have 2 people who have expressed interest, so hopefully they pan out!
So there is more than a glimmer of hope for a good result, then, Eva!

Ata -- not most likely. for starters, i just dont have the time to give them that i really should. plus, since the BF and i will be renting, its not likely that whoever we rent from will allow pets -- most places in that area dont.

nm I got it, FIREWORKS
Atalante, I highly advise you to talk to your physician and ask about getting an "epi-pen". Stings often get worse with subsequent incidents. A friend who is a bee-keeper told me that up to about age 30 (if you're not allergic) you build antiserum in your blood when stung. After that, your body starts to react badly.
YAY jakesmum!
mmmm. spaghetti.... (pa 5)
I'm going tomorrow :)
Ata that's awful and potentially dangerous so do you need to carry an alert on your person ( not for the bees !) but for others to know to give aid if required.
good for you {{{mama hugs for Atalante}}}
same thinking Stidmama..
(listen to your elder... LOL)
I'm off to the dr tomorrow to ask. But yes, I suspect epipens will be involved! oh *joy*

I did all but about 160 words.... I just couldn't finish. I dreamt letters after that...
OMG that must have taken all day
that was my first time babbling...i definitely was unprepared to start out with that many words!
carra - that's awful!!!
trial by fire amp
a handful of other people also lost words too
oh no carra!!!
that was really an outlier, most of the grids run 150-250 words
Good for you knight, finishing.
i worked on it from 3 different computers - i didn;t think about losing words :/
well i'm glad. i'm actually getting close on today's
i stayed up way tooooo late after the flip
go for it amp!
sunday pm / monday am - knight?
lol knight! I can imagine. Ren: spread the risk is good thinkiing... ;)
yeah - it's 10pm at the flip here
"imho" not a word? yeah right it's not, imho!
would have been a good day to take vacation
well it's way past midnight here. I'm gonna go for some zzzzz's. Good night all. See you in a few weeks. I'm off on holiday tomorrow.

co4.8 - change the last letter of co4.9
help with the lowest A?
what is co4.9
pro + ** da
co4.9 - a babblete worth 9 points :)
it's not the diswasher ladi - the one who makes the mess...er meal
greenbay, not meaning to be rude, but do you know how to do the points to figure out a word? ( hope that's not offensive!)
bbl think i'm going to find some one to co** my supper
later ren

pe5/12...the 2nd one please?
women's small size
of course!...ty
I hate to interrupt, but I'm thinking about updating to a pro account, and I'd love to know what exactly the perks are...if there's a part of the page I just haven't seen that explains these, let me know. Otherwise, if someone could either explain it here or send me an email at loon y gal18 at gmail . com, that would be great
how long have you been playing?
after about 2 weeks, you lose the "tile stats" and the "word stats" along with the fireworks and total # of words.
Ah. Thank you.
Then I'm buying it...I'm hooked. I've been playing about 4 days, but I play competitive Boggle offline
i ask the question, feather goes straight for the answer
lol hursh
what do you mean, "competitive boggle"? is there any other kind???
see, my way, i didn't need to wait to hear
hurshy - did you say yesterday that Dr G does not control the number of words?
that was my last one..thanks forthe clues....goodnight all............
Thanks for your help
i did say that
does he control which puzzle is posted?
it seems that holidays have unusually small puzzles = that implies some level of intervention
no, a computer generates the grids, with certain guidelines so we get at least a few vowels.
welcome snowy! oh and of course you get to have a lovely icon
I mean for money. Yes, really. It's pretty phenomenal, really.
wow, where do you live?
but does Dr G accept, reject the puzzles before posting?
Wisconsin...but it's just among friends. Some people play poker...we play boggle.
based on my impression of doc's personailty and the fact that he doesn't even play the grids (or the sudokus), i'm thinkin he's not gonna stay up til midnight for that...
umm, our water just stopped
we have a well.
that's not good
true, but he could generate the grid early, look at the word list, etc and then decide to accept/reject
tin 5/10 clue?
well, why don't you email him and ask him?
ti*
got it
*obvious light going off in KnightTime's head
te 5/12 clue?
any reason it might just stop?
did I mention I graduated from the Univ of Duh?
well you're still here, so your power's not out...
true
but your pump might have given out i suppose
are you on a pump feather?
crap
i guess so
maybe a breaker flipped or a fuse blew
we had a pump put down in the well about a year ago though i think
doug's checking it out
hi all! :)
hi kristin
it's quiet today
hi there hurshy...maybe people are too hot to babble...I think it is roasting pretty much everywhere, including here!
they are filming on the next street from me.. sisterhood of the traveling pants
where do you live carra?
connecticut
Not here it's not!! Rainy & cold for weeks in UK.
they already made that movie... is it a sequel?
hmm...never heard of that movie...kind of cool to have filming going on so close (unless that type of thing happens too often)
easily over 100 in tucson today
alot of movies are being filmed in ct and my area.. they just passed some tax thing for filming so its cheap or w/e
yes its #2
liz! I will trade you places right here, right now! :) (the US is having a heat wave and I am very pregnant)
Easily over 50 here!!
hi. I thought spam was a word we see everyday
it is eyeman, just not a word in the Enable dictionary
I know eyeman...I keep typing it in and hoping it will work on the 10th, 11th time
when it comes to enable, "don't ask, don't tell" is really the best policy
oh well, it works backwards
Poor you, I really hate being too hot...and being pregnant makes it even worse. Wouldn't say no to some summer here though.
phantom: imitate
yeah, I'm actually surviving...isn't that the way it is though? we always want the weather we don't have. I'll be begging for sun in about 6 months so I'm trying to enjoy it
my icon gives a clue to the CY7/40, you might have to refresh to see it.
from dr g: "Puzzles are 100% computer-generated."
see... the hursh knows things.
thanks for the clue lizmac
Computer programs are 100% written by humans
the 7's are cy, pa, and...?
im 7
yes knight but... as i said, he would make guidelines so that we can have vowels and stuff but not as to the sizes of the puzzles
ac clues?
im hurshy
thank you knight
yes, true hurshy - i see that now.
well, not I'm hurshy...but im7 hurshy
ac = pro + ** da, pro + metal, then remove the middle vowel to get the next 2 ac's
final ac is deeds
dun dun dun... the dreaded 14
not even a chuckle?
i would have chuckled, but it was about me, so i didn't know if it would be inappropriate for me to comment
I was too confused to chuckle dan :)

Football news here was great today--Troy Brown for another year! I am pretending the C's are on hiatus, LOL
true pam, hebrew would have been a better choice
95+ and most of the northwest doesn't have a/c (at least we don't) so it takes it toll pretty quick...poor kitty...she has lots of water

Hello Scrabbler! How are the bruises today?
scrabs!
hi Scrabb
hi scrabbler
Haha, new ones are surfacing, but I am less sore than yesterday. I went biking on a paved trail a few hrs ago, with a friend. We did 10 miles in 55 min, and it was close to 90 degrees. I had a near-death experience from the exertion and heat, then got my second wind to finish, and the endorphins are flowing!
geeeeeez...scrab! You are pushing yourself!
I am glad you are not as sore today. That is quite a ride.
I thought I would see more words than I did this AM, but I am not.
Hi Babblers.
hi rel
Hi Relarion
Hi, relarion
hi relarion
Hi Mom, saph, muse, pam.
Tim had a odometer devide and our pace was 12.5 mi/hr. It is through a wooded area--a former railroad line fixed up via Rails for Trails.
Hi relarion
*device, I mean
Hi Scrabbler.
My hubby was telling our oldest about the Rails for Trails just the other day. Next summer he is talking of wanting to bike through Europe (our son that is)
sounds wonderful, scrab. Glad your bruises allowed it!
I am watching Shaq's show---makes me feel like I should be doing jumping jacks, not babbling!
lol Pam, I have never seen that show
Cool, Mom. Pam, I am trying to get back into the shape I was in 10 and more yrs ago.
at this rate, Scrabbler you are sure to make it
Good for you, scrab! This month has been my month to do more, and I have. But I am NOT a bicyclist!
What exercise do you like to do, Pam?
I walk. And I love floor work, the old-school leglifts.
When I went to the gym, I liked the ecliptical, but I am not in the position to go back to the gym
*eliptical
fireworks !!!
yay, liz
Yahoooo hshliz!
congratulations hsh
yay hsh!
My goal is to be in great shape by my 50th birthday---26 months away.
wooo hoooo, scrabs
I am trying, Pam, and it isn't easy.
It is hard, I know. And, it gets harder as we get older...
Anybody going to see the harry Potter movie tomorrow? I pre-ordered the book from Amazon--half-price.
I am trying to walk more and more...
I entered menopause instantly with surgery 11/03, so my metabolism is similar to a rock.
I am
I'm not Scrabbler.
Our store will have it at 40. You have heard me--won't support Amazon as they are driving bookstores out of existence
Scrabbler, would those books truly entertain a 40 year old. I've never read one, but have been thinking about it.
I started at 29, scrab. A good doc has helped... but I have a metabolism issue, too
DIane---YES
Pam, I do like independent bookstores, but I have to save money whenever possible.
yes diane
last st 5 anyone
I have enjoyed all of the HP books a lot!
Oh, I am not criticizing you scrab, or anyone else, it's my pet peeve
i can't preorder HP - i'd have to wait too long... i buy em right at midnight
Why 29, Pam? That is quite early?
OK. I've been roaming the library aimlessly for something decent. Getting tired of med. mysteries.
Hi Hurshy.
PCOS, scrabs
s & sounds like what you do on a keyboard
I loved The Dante Club, The Eight, Jackdaws....trying to think of others from recent reading.
hi, just had to chime in on HP :)
That's what I suspected, Pam--that stinks.
Hi Hursh
Hi, hursh
Hogwarts is my desktop display. Mugglenet.com is a great site to go through. Sorry, folks, I am a muggle, as much as I wish I was Hermione.
It has its moments, that's for sure!!!! I hate so much of its physical attributes, on the other hand, it's not cancer
peck? Saphyre :)
i'm still a little sick though, so i'm going to finish watching law and order in bed... night all
LOL, scrabbler, i am a muggle, too. Wish I were Maggie Smith
good night Hursh, pleasant dreams
Night, hursh, feel better
Pam, we each have our bundle of problems to deal with in life.
hi hurshy
Isn't that the truth, scrabs!
Good night, Hurshy, I hope you feel better soon.
An advantage for me, scrab--I tend to form muscle mass easier than many! Now, that could be genes, or the PCOS, LOL!
And would we want to trade our package of problems with someone else, or keep what we have? I am who I am BECAUSE of what I have overcome.
WELL SAID! Well said, scrabs!
Amen Scrabbler
excuse me ... am**
yo 4/8?
applauds scrabs
oh never mind, that was a word from yesterday
The key is to be grateful for the good things we do have and for the bad things we do NOT have.
yo 4.8 mediatation, posing ooohhhhmmmm
exactly
You are so sage, scrabs!
duh! thx that is fireworks for me
congratulations eieios
and that is halfway for me. Good night everyone. Hugs to all
Hey, I have had some life experience! That is the advantage of getting older. My 40's have been an age of emerging wisdom and confidence.
Yipppeeee for eieios!!
Good night, Mom!
pi 6 please after the tree type
So VERY COOL, scrabs
night Scrabbler :)
Do you agree, Pam? Are you > 40 yet?
Oh, gosh, scrabs, I am going to be 47 in Nov. So, yes, I am in agreement!
So you are 14 mo younger than me. I finally felt like a grown-up at about 42 and tossed away lots of nonsense that weighed me down.
hi all
Evening all! Just finished with the jam/jelly thingee and had to chime in with huzzas & cheers for us oldsters!
What is fy4? I have monkeyed a lot.
**Pam, let's pretend the words matter while we discuss life**
fy + see + 2nd vowel
I did that in my early 30's, then a bit more...
LOL< scrabs, they do matter
fy is old timey word for dog, rhymes with pilaf grain
I have found my 40's so liberating--do you agree, weegee?
The betrayal and being ditched was really bad in Sept, but I am doing better than I would have had I not grown...
TY, weegee!
Worth living through and learning from, yes Scrabb, and the other side of them is pretty nice, too, I must say!
But you are a survivor and conqueror, Pam!!
Thanks,scrab
And, you go, weegee, you go!!!!!
That is nice to hear, weegee, as I head towards 50 in just over 2 yrs.
same here
The only thing I want to conquer is my fear of lighting my gas grill...
Weegeee---great, great icon! And, thanks for doing rescue work!!!!!
fireworks
Hmm, I just didn't buy a gas grill, and I don't use my fireplace. In a former life I must have been burned at a stake....maybe at Salem.

Time for a cold shower and bed. See everyone tomorrow.
Congrats saphyre! Scrabb, you've read the Crucible too many times!
