While being home on disability is no picnic, it is utterly a blessing that i'm around for my kid. He has learning disabilities, too. Being an adolescent, he of course is hypersensitive to being different. Right now he's ruminating and feeling guilt-ridden. Hopefully the meds will take the edge off and make talk therapy more productive for him. The pediatrician believes in a short course (6 to 9 mos max) of anti-Ds for teens. i agree.

melon. not to discourage you. But I've been on meds for depression since I was a sophomore in high school. so that would be 10 years now. It is a chemical imbalance and doctors say I will probably be on meds for the rest of my life. But I don't mind because at least I can get out of bed in the morning

I think it's pretty bad - but manageable
her arm has at least reduced in size - the swelling went down, problem was her split wasn't doing it's job - so more tighter bandages seems to help.

and you cant punish the handicapped ones becuase their family are self centered idiots, lol so we bring them along with us anyway, as we know they would never get out if it were not for us.
