not sure if that was a piece of paper or canvas
bet it would work with pottery tiles though -- tile in tray of oil just deep enough to coat the surface, then drop the glazes in with an eyedropper -- oil would fire off and glaze remain.
sounds cool, never worked with pottery but would love to try it
