mrp.. i saw your videos...and know you have had hospital stays etc. for your arm......I must be late to babble...can I ask what was the initial cause of the probs.?...accident or disease or other?
dart, it was a rare bone tumour, which was treated several times, radiotherapy and keyhole surgery. Then, they find that I have chronic osteomyelitis (and not the 'garden' variety)... it is untreatable. So more surgery and more medication, and surgery again! I am now recovering and hope to not have this anymore!
they cannot tell how the disease came about, could have been caused by an accident, or by the surgery over the past 7 years
and that is why she is in my prayers every day... we4, ok, and because she is such a dearheart :)

yeah. christmas actually works out pretty well because my brother likes to do christmas morning with his wife + kids at home, then head down to my parents house for dinner. that frees me up to do christmas morning with the BF and his family...but his family is much larger than mine, so last year, we were running very late getting to my parents house...so i think i need to be a little more adamant about what time we leave his familys place...heh

Trust me HAZ, that would NEVER happen. MIL is 84 years old and the rest of the family just doesn't like to travel. Go figure.
I'm still very young, but I have to fit in my mom, brothers and stepdad, my dad and brothers (three hours from mum) and my boyfriend of three years' family...the guilt is enormous and has resulted in my loathing of Christmas. What I want is irrelevant to certain family members.

i've had them for the last 12 years, so its part of my life now...just a normal day to me and my family.
My 40 some year old father has murdered quite a few phones himself (he is self employed as a "glassman" who usually accidentally drowns them)
he has had to pay for the last 2. hes 22 now but still at university so no real income other than his summer job,. if we could we would insure every thing that trav touches he's always been that kind

i have menieres disease, which is fluid build up in inner ear, which makes you dizzy.i had treatment to help it and i lost my balance completely on one side and it is deteriorating naturally on the otherside,so i can't walk without falling and banging into things alot,plus pressure in head and deafness....but eh,...i'm healthy and that's life..you deal with it and get on...plus i have a great supportive hubby and daughter.

my dad had menieres lili. he has a surgery that wnt into his skull and severed the nerve in his ear, so he is stone deaf in the one side but no more vertigo. it was so bad when he was driving ( a great bbig truck) that suddenly the world would seem upside down & he would have to pull off the highway. without the surgery he would have lost license
and much quality of life , it happened when walking standing and sitting too
((((lili)))) I know that's rough, my father-in-law suffering last 7 years with something very similar, docs not sure what, been throwing around many diagnoses
it can be tough angel, but i'm too bloodyminded and independent to let it get to me, plus i use to work with people with special needs and they had alot tougher times than me.

i had a saccus decompression beth, which is where they drill behind your ear and put something in to let the fluid pass.it helped but didn't cure it.

mymuse,it took about 5 years for the consultants to find what was wrong with me.they found out i had 2 things because i was passing out aswell...so i have menieres and basilar migraine.i don't like to do things by halves!

i'm not sure what the procedure was for my dad, i know they actually opened up his skull it was very invasive ,he was a real messs for a while, but it was a complete success as far as the dizziness & nausea etc

cupcake, when I was first learning, I found the Help section to be invaluable. It is above the chat box. Also as others have said Lickety's page. Takes a bit of reading, but well worth it. Good luck

I eish I could adequately describe the cartoon inmy paper today that had a lady sitting at her doctor's desk and he was tellingher she should text less (modrn day version of last song posted, I guess).
