arb wow.............good life eh? well my son is in nachlaot in jerusalem so guess we will wind up there when we retire not in tel aviv even though i love the beach. we also cant afford the prices in tel aviv. i thought of buying south of tel aviv on beach but well, bat yam isnt so nice i hear and then it becomes industrial i think. anyway we still have to get last child thru colleg before we can save for this.......we have 6 kids and day schools and college have wiped out our money. we should have moved to israel in 74 when we wanted to but we didnt and now only one kid made aliyah. others havent even though oldest kid has an investment property in jeruslam too. but who knows. three other kids talk of moving there...we will always be a torn family over this.

That sounds right. I went to PT 3 x a week for 6 wks, then 2 x for several more. It hurts like he4/5 but it's the only way to get full use.
this grid is a bit hard going
it is my right one brth. i woke up in the night in alot of pain....must have hurt it banging into walls....but i don't know wheter i've got a trapped nerve or sprained the muscles....i can't move my head very far either...it's comfortable when i rest my right hand up on my left shoulder.we could babble together beth!

I am baking a Mrs. Smiths pumpkin custard pie for Thanksgiving. It is the best of the store bought pies, IMHO
Canned is much easier. I once (repeat, only once) used a real pumpkin. Didn't let it cook down enough, and ended up with a pie as thick as a thin-crust pizza. Family still makes fun of me for it.
The trick with using real pumpkin is to put it in a fine strainer to thicken it up. Or you can even use a paper coffee filter overnight.

And, later I learned that there are differences in pumpkins. The ones you cut for Halloween are not necessarily the ones for baking.
But I am too lazy to make a pie crust--I usually make pumpkin custard instead--baking the pie filling in a buttered casserole dish in a water bath.
Gwenski, you are so right. The jackolantern pumpkins are worthless for eating. Sugar pie pumpkins are good, though. They make a fine ravioli or risotto ingerdient too.

You can just make up the usual pumpkin pie recipe with an extra egg or two, put it in a well buttered casserole dish, put the dish into a larger pan with boiling water halfway up the side of the casserole, and bake till a knife comes out clean.
sometimes i use the sherry pumpkin recipe to fill a pie shell
You can also substitute light cream for the evaporated milk to make the custard richer.

It's a medium thick vanilla custard sauce that is fabulous on fresh fruit, any fruit dessert, drizzled over any hot pudding, on the side of any rich chocolate cake, etc. It's what you use to build a trifle, too. Yummmmm.

There's only one g so you can't use it twice. It mirrors the structure of the game, it doesn't mean that the word begins with go!

Brandyjack's clues are helpful, but insufficient. Before I got Babble Expert, I saved the words from Lickety's page to a file, and then typed them in here from the file. Now BE forwards them for me, but I still save them in a text file until I finish
