Not sad at all. I try to lead a simple life, and Babble is relaxing, it increases my vocabulary, makes me a better Scrabble player, and it is a great community. There are far worse addictions.
Sad life tesk tsk! Babble is educational, edifying, great fun and friend making. Not to mention the amount of things that can be ignored all in the name of Babble!!
Playing Babble makes me realize that I used to place too much importance on housecleaning.

I LOVE SuperScrabble! I bought it when it first was released and that is all my friends and I play now. The original board seems so small and confining now.

Yes, SuperScrabble requires a greater time commitment, but the scores can be amazing. A few weeks ago we played with teams, 2 vs 2, and my partner and I lost 1185 - 775.

Lemon-Pepper Chicken, Cheesy Mashed Potatoes, and Fresh Asparagus... its one of my favorite combinations at the restaurant we enjoy, so hopefully i do it justice!

i read online that you put about an inch or so of water in the bottom of a pan, put the asparagus in, then bring it to a boil for about 5 minutes or so... then drain out the water + slap in some butter...
it steams beautifully!

Hi all. carleekat, just be careful of foodfights! I was once one of 3 adults for a girl scout winter campout (we ended up "camping out" in a small airport hanger because it ended up being -40 that weekend!) and the 15 girls made spaghetti and had a food fight afterwards. They really had a great time; but the clean-up was a PIA later because they had to keep thawing the snow to make water for cleaning! Good luck, BTW!

I got a letter from your FIL yesterday, Stid, with 2 photos of my father from the old days.
