infern, when we bought our house, I was working... we had dual income to help with the mortgage.... 3 weeks after we moved in, I am in hospital for months on end, and that has been my life. mrp, i know how you feel as i am the same....i've been disabled for 7 years and have felt guilty about alot of things, especially not being able to do alot of physical things with the bairn, but that is now past and i've had to come to terms with how i am now and the changes in my life....my family still love me for who i am, and are there for me...i also miss working and bringing in an income, but you learn to live within your means and as long as you have a roof over your head and your family, then that is all you need....big hugs

I am not even halfway and I am ready for bed. Our office has been crushed with so many sick kids and 1 partner out with Influenza. I was in the office past 8 for 2 nights and 2 hrs extra today.

got an email from the school nurse, 4 of them are out with bad coughs. one of the coughs is pneumonia, another was being x-rayed.
January was "quiet" for sick season, but the last 2 wks have been a killer.
I'm lucky enough to have influenza as well...always thought it was about stomach trouble...not so.
We have recently seen a lot ofRSV and bad flu in adults.

I was so worried about my husband getting the flu since he was going through chemo that I didn't really think about myself...he's perfectly fine!

I guess I don't know for sure if I have the TRUE influenza virus, but I have all the symptoms and feel lousy...a diagnosis doesn't really matter at this point.

Yes, RTH--she just can't die now after all she has been through. She tested positive for Flu B, and due to chronic steroid tx she also has PCP!!!
