jilli: we thought my husband suffered from gout, but they think it might be something else, so he is seeing a specialist now. We spend half of yesterday in the ER to have them take a sample from the fluid inside his insanely swollen foot, but they couldn't get it.
That will save you a lot of time wasting herin... although you ight fall in love with something and forget all the criteria!

lynxxx: I phoned the emergency doctor and refused to take no for an answer. So they finally admitted I could give him a combination of painkillers that took care of both the gouty pain and the pain of poking needles in his joints.

I have one, too, and can't sleep without it now. I don't snore, but I hold my breath. Had no idea I had it until I went to doc for fatigue. It has made a huge difference. Hope doggie doesn't start snoring. ;)

I have to say it: this is one good cake! And, it is the only thing I bake that has a cake mix base, and you add yeast and other stuff to it... mix your canned cherries with almond, sugar and put on top, then the slightly sweetened marscapone, and then the topping... too darned good!
