I think he was born in Spokane (does that sound right)... His changes in how they make the pieces transformed Studio Glass art. His 5 to 7 year projects from year's past evolved into his current huge pieces, now displaed in museums, conservatories and a few private home. Did you like the exhibit there?

pink: hubby is diagnosed with gout (bad) but not reuma (very very good). He has gotten new meds and those help, and he is back on his feet (literally). Back to work even. I am dead dead tired, having trouble coping with the little challenges of life atm. Like yesterday: leaking heater/boiler, needing to be firm with the maintenance guy, and my son being bullied by a big bully AND the bully's mum, and things getting out of hand so far that the teacher was crying because of the wicked mother of the bully.

my daughter was potty friendly by about the same age--then I sent her to a pre-school--didn't know it but they told the kids they couldn't get up to go potty during nap time...it took 3 years to get her trained again and over that trauma--don't know how long it went on 'til i discovered as she lost her "training!"

I was in Caen years ago and remember talking to an old woman who had been through the British bombardment prior to the landings. She talked about waking up under rubble and having to spit dust out of her mouth. It was fascinating to have first-hand accounts of what happened.

My OH has promised when he leaves the Navy we will have a holiday of a lifetime in New Zealand - can't wait!!
We leave on April 19th, first stop Canberra when Bill is going to march in the Anzac Day Parade. The following week we are in Sydney, then three weeks in Brisbane, and the final week in Bangkok on the way home (staying with friends), back home on June 6th. Phew!
