hey all.. you guys are such experts on so much... question??... my daughter received her second beesting within a week... she had the same reaction to the last one... severe swelling of the affected extremity, but no fever, no pulmonary involvement, no rashes, etc... called pediatrician and he said not to worry.... anyone have any "home remedy" I might try to bring down the swelling? Already using ice, elevation, antihistamine, and anti-inflammatory.

baking soda is a base, as is ammonia, if i recall (and chemistry was NOT my strong suit) ammonia is easier, and recommended by multiple sources. then again, baking soda paste is great for cleaning
Oh and any left over baking soda past stuff in an old stocking foot and use as a scrub for shower glass
