I find what I like and save it to My Pictures. Then go to My Account and the Edit under the little icon, then Browse to the chosen picture and Upload. When it says it's been successfully changed, it hit Refresh and up it comes.
jilli, that is not so strange, that happens to more of us. It settles in a day, usually. Or with force-refresh it can settle sooner.

The doc says his spleen is not enlarged but is a bit tender, tonsils a bit puffy but not tonsilitis, glands a bit swollen but not alarming...
Walter is also very pale.
I am back. MG--I read below, so even if it is mono (acute EBV infection) he will improve, which he has so far.

Yes, that's the thing-- I hope it's mono just because then we know, and he's already on the mend.
He'll have a good day and I think he's getting all better and then another crash... but the overall trend is now finally to improve.
The blood test was awful though, because he managed to move and dislodge the needle so they had to do it again, and then they said the hope they got enough...

Yes, her granddaughter is planning a large party for her. Yes, she is compromised by the stroke, can't walk, confusion...has full time help 24/7. This woman was still teaching in her late eighties and was still driving. She really was a wonder.

Having a better day sick-wise but not experience-wise. The doctor found some things indicating he's sick but not pointing to a bacterial infection so he did need to have blood drawn to look for mono. NOT fun when you're almost 4.

I know this mending thing. It's that bit where you crudely sticth together the holes that get worn into the clothes and then when that doesn't work anymore you use them for patches on other clothes.

speaking of natural remedies, if you've got a stuffy nose, try obal oil. put a couple drops on a washcloth and breathe in the washcloth while in the shower. works like a charm!

if you are not a caffiene drinker or drink very little caffiene, then drinking a bit of coffee with sugar in it will indeed help a migraine, it shrinks your blood vessels, BUT if you are a caffiene drinker it usually won't help
check out Dr. Bronners products - he has great concentrated soaps and oils!!
